Tegan, not caring about the rules right now, takes Neeka to Graham's room to see Ace sitting on the bed again. "I have a surprise for you Ace."

"What is it?" Ace looks up as Neeka walks in right beside Yaz.

"I heard you finally got engaged to Graham."

"I did, have you met him," Ace asks Neeka.

"No, but from what Yaz has told me, he is a great bloke."

"The bloke is right here."

Ace turns to face him, as she has retaken her spot sitting on the bed, "I know you're here," she leans closer to him and brushes her lips against his.

"What did his doctor say," asks Yaz.

"They want him to stay overnight."

"Is he allowed any overnight guests, so I know who I am taking home."

"Me, and Ryan right," Yaz asks.

"Yep, I am going to my flat."

"Why not stay at the house tonight," suggests Ace.

"You sure?"

"Ryan, you are always welcome at the house."

"Ok."

"Everyone who is leaving follow me," Tegan states. All but Ace and Graham leave the room.

"You know Babe, this is totally us, getting engaged in a hospital."

"I had been going back and forth between your birthday at a cottage, the anniversary of the day we met either near the volcano or again at a cottage." Graham looks at her, "you sure it's ok I proposed while I was still lying in a hospital bed?"

"Graham," she lays down next to him, her head on his shoulder. "I just want to marry you. Not many people when I was traveling with the Doctor and a little bit afterwards, though I did sleep with over 60 people, my heart was ready for marriage."

"Here you are now newly engaged."

"Engaged to someone who I love more than thought possible." He kisses the top of her head. "Graham?"

"Yes?"

"You scared me tonight."

"I didn't mean to do that."

"I know. I also know this is a major part of loving someone, being concerned about the other when something happens."

"It is, we should probably get some sleep."

"I know," Ace puts her arm over him gently to get comfortable. In a few minutes they are asleep. The nurse comes in to check on the vitals and sees something that she does enjoy seeing and unless it interferes with her work she doesn't care. Slowly walking out she runs into somebody.

"Hello?"

"Hello Ma-am, I heard that Graham O'Brien is here."

"I can't give out any information, you should know that."

"Please."

"No, now if you won't go to the waiting room or leave I will call security." The stranger leaves grumbling.

The next morning, Tegan has brought Manihsa and Ryan back, this time Nyssa is driving a second car to make sure Manisha and Ryan can also get back. Coming into the room laughing, the four of them are greeted with the sight of Ace and Graham fast asleep with Graham's hand now partially covering Ace's with her ring gleaming in the light. "I hope Kate finalizes my adoption soon. I am a woman in my 30s saying that."

"At least UNIT is a part of the government." Ryan says jokingly.

"If I ever find the one, I will have two walking me down the aisle."

"Are you ready to be a Step-Aunt to someone under 10 years younger than you?"

"Hmm, I guess I am, we should wake them up," Manisha says pointing to the two people asleep on the bed. They all look at the bed again to see Ace slowly waking up. She kisses his chest and that wakes him.

"Morning beautiful."

"Morning Graham," Ace sits up a little bit and the two share a good morning kiss. "Now it is a good morning."

"Every morning that I wake up with you is a good morning."

"There are people present." Tegan announces, "slow down on the lovey dovey stuff."

Ace looks to the voice of her friend to see both of her friends, Daughter and Ryan. "We didn't know you were here."

"Sure."

"What, Graham and I just got engaged last night."

"We know, we were here, and the light coming in from the window shined off your ring."

"Good. Are you guys here to make sure that Graham and I can get back home?"

"Yes, we just had a little show what it is like when you wake up in the mornings," teases Tegan. With both Ace and Graham blushing, "or is that not how you wake up every morning?"

"Please I beg of you not to answer that Mum or Dad."

"I agree with Manisha," Ryan says while Nyssa chuckles a little bit.

Manisha gets a smile on her face that makes everyone look at her, "if you don't need I remind you of what we found out last night, that Yaz was dating your Daughter," she looks at Nyssa and Tegan. "Also that neither of them are not little girls anymore."

"Manisha!" Both her parents say in unison, Ace gets a memory of when she said almost those exact same words to the Doctor.

"What you don't want to think of Yaz that way." She laughs.

"Both of them in my case, but Manisha come on."

"Come on what," Ace looks over to Tegan, "don't you dare Tegan, don't say what you are thinking."

"I agree with Ace, Dear." Nyssa says. Graham's doctor enters the room after that is said.

"Hello, can I ask everyone to leave."

"Ace can stay."

"It's up to you, you are the patient." His doctor waits for the others to leave. "You were lucky in the accident, nothing was broken, as you know we kept you overnight to make sure you had no concussion. How do you feel?"

"Like I did before my accident."

"Good, we are also going to bring you in for a few more tests, then depending on the results you should be leaving this afternoon."

"Good, I want to start planning my wedding to this amazing woman."

"I heard that there was a proposal last night."

"There was."

"Congratulations, now we have everything ready for you," a nurse comes to wheel him out of the room.

"I can walk."

"Graham just humor them."

"If I can get a kiss before I head off for the tests." Ace laughs, lifts his face up to hers and gives a quick kiss.
