Avengers Mansion, Janet's Room
Drumming her pen against the desk, Janet stared at the blank pages in her studies book as her mind raced for answers.
She decided to be Seated at her desk by the open window of her room in Avengers Mansion, it seemed as good a time as ever to study.
With crime rates dropping after the Leader's attempted 'Gamma World', the downtime was a welcome opportunity to get caught up on her assignments and homework. Being a hero robbed a lot of time that would've been dedicated to school, but Janet loved the thrilling rush too much to turn down any opportunity to be the Wasp. The result was her falling behind in her course work and needing to catch up.
A knock at her door disturbed her thread of concentration and she looked up as it opened slightly and Rex and Generator poked their heads in.
Rex: Are we interrupting?
Janet: Rex! Generator! Hey!
She greeted them with her usually peppy smile.
Janet: Nah, you're fine. Come on in!
As they did so, revealing he was not currently in his super hero form but a simple blue t-shirt and jeans but without the M in front as the combo clothes that seemed to suit him so very well despite its simplicity.
Rex: Steve was going to the training room and just wanted to make sure you were good to respond to a call. We tried to message you but JARVIS said you were in silent mode.
Janet: Yeah, I asked to be on 'high alert' only. Trying to get caught up on some assignments I've missed.
Rex: Assignments? Oh, yeah, Grayburn College. Forget about that, are that far behind?
Janet: No, not by much... What about you? Do you have a degree?
Rex remains quiet as he leans against the wall and suddenly can't remember if he had a degree at all.
Rex: I... don't know. I'm drawing blanks whenever I try to find any links in my past but I can't seem to remember anything.
Janet: Sorry.
Rex: It's ok. Why don't you tell me what else you're working on. Do you have a degree?
Janet: Yes, I've already got a degree for a couple years for microbiology degree.
Generator: Microbiology.
Rex: And I know it's the- the study of small things I guess?
Janet: Not exactly. Microbiology is the study of the biology of microscopic organisms - viruses, bacteria, algae, fungi, slime molds, and protozoa.
Rex: I forgot that you're a scientist and model and Fashion Designer.
Janet: I'm not exactly a model but thanks for the compliment.
Rex was smirking at Janet as everything about her was perfect, she was a fighter, she didn't let anyone tell her what to do, smart, funny, outgoing, infectious personality, childishly cute, curious, and a beautiful woman.
If things were different in their relationship he would ask her out on a date... but then remember Hank and her were together so he decided to ask about her family as to try and think about something else.
Rex: So... can I ask you something?
Janet: Sure.
Rex: Who was your father?
Janet freezes a bit before she puts her pen down and looks at Rex as he leans on the wall of the room as he was interested in her life as she known him for just a short time but in that time he has saved her a few times and was a good person as she decided to tell him a few personal stories from her past when her father was alive.
Janet: Well, my father's name is actually Vernon Van Dyne. He owned his own laboratory, and had no known assistants. My father was working on a gamma-ray beam in order to detect signals from other planets. He wanted to find out whether extraterrestrial life existed in the Milky Way, and hoped to make contact with aliens.
Rex: Aliens?
Generator: Aliens?
Janet: Yep. But he ran into problems with his experiment, because the beam needed strengthening to achieve its goal. He wanted to recruit another scientist to help resolving this problem, and he chose the then-famous Henry 'Hank' Pym for that purpose.
Generator: Ooh, and I suppose it took forever to stage an interview?
Janet: Actually... we just showed up and he was working on his ants.
Rex: (Grins.) Why wasn't that surprising. He must've been really anxious to meet your father.
Janet: Actually no.
Rex/Generator: No?/No?
Janet: He wanted to work on his own business but being me, he was was pretty distracted and was more interested in me.
Rex was a bit jealous but honestly it's not surprising seeing Janet is incredibly beautiful and as she may make anyone fall in love with her by sheer look. The thought of that made him a bit self conscious and bitter at anyone who would use Janet rather than be with her for her personality.
Rex: Still Hank is a great man. A scientist and superhero and your his partner, Ant-Man and Wasp superhero duo of awesomeness!
Janet: (Chuckles)Yeah.(Before looking down and thinking of her Father.) I just wish I knew what my father would think of me being a Superhero.
Rex: Well, I think he would be very happy for you. You're father became a scientist because he wanted to discover life out there, but I also think that he wanted to help people. I think your upholding your father legacy to help people is something that he'd be proud of.
Janet smiles as she thinks it's nice of him to say that.
Janet: Thank you.
Rex was about to ask something else when the voice of JARVIS suddenly filled the room.
JARVIS: Miss Van Dyne, an urgent situation has arisen. Local law enforcement reports the Whirlwind is rampaging through the downtown sector.
The AI explained. Janet shooting up and lept from her chair.
Janet: Whirlwind! Go time!
Shrinking down, her casual clothes fell in a heap on the floor, leaving her clad in her complete Wasp costume.
Generator: Uh, what about your studies?
Rex: Aren't they kinda important?
Rex and Ai partner inquired, as they were slightly concerned about her need to succeed in her degree. Generator and Rex were perfectly capable of going out to handle Whirlwind instead.
Wasp: I'll get back to them, it's fine! Besides, I've dealt with Whirlwind before, he's no problem. I'll be back in no time at all and get back to it.
Janet eagerly replied. Zipping over to a nearby window, she paused as a predicament came to mind.
Wasp: Um... could you open the window? Please?
She asked in an embarrassed tone. With a slight chuckle, Rex did as asked and raised the lower half.
Wasp: Thanks! Back in a flash!
Janet said with a cheery wave before darting out the window and disappearing with a golden blur of her wings.
Generator: Oh, I like her.
Rex: Me too.
As Generator raised his mechanical eyebrows as he did a knowing look.
Rex: As a friend and a professional hero nothing more, nothing less.
As Rex states but his body betrayed him as his Heartbeat sped up.
In traffic
Finding Whirlwind was the furthest thing from difficult, seeing as all she needed to do was follow the trail of destruction. As we see the same New York Cabbie from when he first saw Whirlwind as he had a donut in his mouth we see on the paper from the Excelsior Papers we see the front page that says "secret school for mutants?" With the school in the picture. And in the Exclusive it says "Replaced by Aliens!! Baxter Tenant speaks.." wether this is true or false one thing is true is that this Cabbie is going to be in trouble.
As he looks into the Rearview mirror he immediately gets out and David Cannon also known by his Alias Whirlwind turns his car over as he stares in horror by how this had happened... again unaware that Wasp was behind him.
Wasp: Whirlwind! Boy did I miss you!
Wasp remarked as she unleashed a barrage of stinger blasts, strafing him like a fighter jet attacking a target.
Wasp: Man, you are not smart! I mean, come on; you get beat up by me, you go to prison, you break out, and then you come right back here?
She questioned, zipping past multiple boutique windows.
Wasp: Everybody knows this is where I shop!
Whirlwind did not respond but kept moving, tearing through traffic and sending cars flying into buildings on both sides of the street.
At the very end stood a walled off construction site, marked by towering steel beam structures. Bursting through the gates we see the green armor mutant villain himself. Wasp flew right up to his face, hovering before him with a smug look.
Wasp: But here's the real question: why do you like prison so much?
She queried but Whirlwind remained silent, not responding with even a grunt or a brief smart remark which was odd.
Wasp cocked her head, her smile disappearing into a scrutinizing frown. Usually Whirlwind always had a comeback of sorts.
Wasp: Whirlwind? Dave? Not feeling chatty today?
She wondered when All of a sudden, Whirlwind became enshrouded in whispy green clouds, consuming his entire form and taking Wasp by surprise. She recoiled in shock as his armored body completely disappeared and was replaced by something equally... familiar.
Wasp: What?
The form of a man became the form of a woman, clad in a frame radiating with magical power. As we know her as Amora the Enchatress.
Wasp: Enchantress! I don't know what you're up to, but get ready to--
Suddenly we see a Armored individual landing right behind her as she turns around and we see Crimson Dynamo as then we see a axe come from nowhere as we see Skurge the Executioner come out of the portal he made as she was a bit worried before seeing Toxzon flying in the air with his Toxins spouting from his Gauntlet as behind him we see a giant Wonderman from his ionic energy body before she flys backwards and bumps into the scaley green Gamma Monster by the name of The Abomination as he smirks at her as she looks at all the Supervillains Assembled around her were six truly dastardly villains of incredible calibre. Alone and without backup, Wasp knew this had the potential to go south in a hurry. All of these villains had it out for the Avengers in one way or another, cornering her all alone was a good place to start.
But her fearful expression soon hardened into one of determination as the facts set in.
Wasp: What? You think I'm gonna give up?
She retorted bravely.
Wasp: Well, think again! I'm an Avenger! I-agh!
She was cut short by a stun beam hitting her in the back, Wasp was knocked unconscious and dropped to the ground in a heap, limp and seemingly lifeless. Approaching from behind her, with a smoking pistol in hand, the purple-gloved hand of Baron Zemo picked her up and held Wasp aloft by one of her wings, holding her out to his comrades in villainy.
Zemo: One down...
He mused, smiling confident beneath his Mask
Elsewhere, at the Wakanda Embassy
Hawkeye: Okay so, listen...
Hawkeye began, leaning against of the rooftop edge as T'Challa sat quietly and patiently behind him as he wore his African nation robes.
Hawkeye: You realize the Avengers are a complete disaster, right? Iron Man is completely unqualified to lead a team like this! Thor is crazy, the Hulk is a bomb waiting to go off. Ant-Man? Couldn't be less interested in taking down bad guys! And Wasp belongs on the party circuit! Not in law enforcement. Oh! And don't get me started on Generator Rex; who's an absolute rookie and one-hundred percent wildcard to the team! I don't know what goes on in his head.
Clint ranted. As he did, T'Challa calmly ground up herbs in a bowl, mixing them with water to form a paste.
T'Challa: You forgot Captain America.
He pointedly interjected. As Hawkeye whirled around with a look and approached the Wakandan.
Hawkeye: And you. You're a king! Sitting here in your... your... what is this place anyway?
He queried with a confused look on his face.
T'Challa: The Wakandan Embassy.
Hawkeye: An Embassy for crying out loud. What do you care about the Avengers? Are you bored?
As Hawkeye asked he immediately ate the herbs in the bowl before he spat them out as they tasted terrible.
Hawkeye: You eat that?! What is it?
He exclaimed in disgust.
T'Challa: The juices of the heart-shaped herb enhance the sense of the kings of the Panther Tribe. And, in point of fact, it is applied to the skin... and a lethal poison to those of the royal line.
He added. It didn't take long for Clint to understand and, with eyes wide open as his face turned pale, he raced over to the nearest decorative fountain to gargle and cleanse his mouth of every remnant of the paste.
Unbeknownst to him, T'Challa smiled, rather pleased with the outcome of his fib.
In the City
Rex couldn't help but think about JARVIS' Iatest alert.
Generator: JARVIS, Reports indicate the individual known as 'Toxzon' has been spotted in the downtown precinct.
First Whirlwind, now Toxzon? Right after Rex was awash with questions as he was in his Hero Bio suit as he was in flight mode flying towards downtown.
Rex: Ok one supervillain I get but right after Janet leaves JARVIS tells us our mad mutate scientist is out causing trouble after all this time? Something isn't right we need to tell the others about this.
Toxzon hearing this blasts a Toxic goop in front of him before flying away. The duo immediately catch up to Toxzon but they approached cautiously as they know he's not to be a joke and is a significant threat but they do mock him as to throw him some Banters between Heroes and Villains.
Rex: Trying to show-off with some of your Flying, Stinky, why don't you stop this and I promise to let you go? Oh wait? I can't seeing how your a criminal!
Toxzon: Make Jokes all you want Generator Rex, I know that you're defeat will be as sweet as what we did to your friend.
Rex: Friend?
Rex was confused about why he said that until he knows what he was talking about.
Rex: (Angry.) Where is Wasp?! If you have hurt her I'll--
Toxzon: Oh? You want her? COME GET ME!! (laughs Maniacally.)
Toxzon then flew out into the bay and into the sewers blew the street as Rex slowly crouched into the sewer grate and made his way into the sewers.
In the Sewers
Rex looks around and is waist high in sewer water as he groans.
Rex: I really hope we can clean this suit later.
Generator: How do you think I feel, who has to feel it? (Shudders)
Toxzon: [Echoing.] You know... it's not so bad in the sewers...
Generator Rex immediately started to get into a fighting position as he hears Toxzon all over.
Toxzon: It's a place of reflect and a great way to meet some friends.
Toxzon responded as he chuckled briefly.
Toxzon: And it's all thanks to the great Ant-man, Wimsome Wasp and You. If it weren't for you three I wouldn't be this [Angry.] FREAK OF NATURE YOU MADE! (inhale and Exhale.) No matter turns out there's plenty of people who hate you Avengers for sticking their nose into other people's business.
Rex: Yeah? Why don't you come and face me rather then Hide? Or better yet why don't you allow us to escort you back to a new home. It has a lot of Bars.
Toxzon hiding behind a sewer waterfall suddenly extends his toxic three blades and jumps at him as Rex sees him jumps forward and Toxzon then aims his gauntlet at Rex but he easily dodged them as they hit the walls but suddenly the Toxic ooze then forms together and move at a fast pace and go behind Rex.
Rex: You know you have to try better then that! I'm a different man then you fought before.
Toxzon: So am I.
Rex then tilted his head to the side as then behind him was some sorta Toxic Slime Monster as he growls before roaring at him and hits him with his toxic slime ooze drool on his face.
Rex: Again?
As The monster then grabs Rex and lifts him into the Ceiling as he grunts in pain.
Toxzon: How do you like our Goopanoid? An interesting side effect to the stone we found. Not only can I thrive in them I can also create and command them to do my bidding! LIKE THIS!
Toxzon Goopanoid then throws him to the ground in the Sewer before a bright Blue light shines under there and we see Strength Mode as he fight the Giant Goopanoid with his strength mode as he throws him into the wall before he shoulder slammed into the wall and became a slimy paste as Rex looks at himself and groans before looking at Toxzon as he didn't seem to be worried.
Rex glares under his mask as he comes to fight him only to see that there was more Goopanoids then one as there was hundreds and they growled before roaring at him as Rex and Generator prepared for a last Stand.
Rex: Just you and me buddy. Ready?
Generator: Always. Now show em what a couple of Avengers can do.
As Rex charges at them Toxzon raises his hand before aiming it forward at Rex and all the Goopanoids charge and tackle him to the ground as Rex fights back but there was to many as they punched and kicked him as Toxzon giggled with glee before grabbing a cell phone from his pocket armor and pressed a few numbers as he waits and it rings before being picked up on the other end.
Toxzon: It's done Generator Rex is ours now. We can move forward with the plan.
As the Goopanoids move away we see Rex in strength mode before reverting to base as he was now bruised and beaten. As the Masters of evil continue with their plan.
Avengers Mansion
We see it is nighttime and we see Tony was working on his Armor as always.
Iron Man: No, no, no, the suits have to be in an expendable array. Interchangeable, too. So I can have any suit at any time in seconds.
JARVIS: You only have three suits, sir.
Iron Man: Sure, now, but what if--
As Tony was using his wrench to tighten his suit bolts he realized that he is arguing with his AI Butler.
Iron Man: Why are you arguing with me? Just reconfigure it.
Suddenly he sounds like another duo on the team.
Iron Man: Great. Now I'm beginning to sound like Rex while you're being like Generator.
Then there was a beep sound as JARVIS updates Tony.
JARVIS: Mansion update. Avenger ID, Wasp, Generator Rex, accepted.
Iron man: Oh, good, Jan would want me to have more suits. Or better yet Rex and Generator would like to help me. As they would probably serve better company then you.
JARVIS: Ms. Van Dyne, Generator, and Mr. Caden is not-- (Winding Down.) is not--
As JARVIS was slowly going down we see Tony was now worried for his AI butler.
Iron Man: JARVIS?
JARVIS: Catastrophic (winding down again.) system error.
Tony was now worried as he then sees a shadow and dodge a huge red armored hand as it was Crimson Dynamo as Tony glares at him as he fights him with his only Repulsor glove before he was hit in the head by a chair before he is picked up by Dynamo as he crushes his head as he moans in pain before we see Zemo exit from the shadows.
Zemo: No, Dynamo. Not yet.
As Dynamo was close to his goal he wanted nothing more then for Stark to be a red stain on the floor but relents as he throws him into a Column and is knocked out.
In the Foyer
We see the Hulk was watching a movie eating Peanuts before it then changed into a commercial where we see a Dog run across the yard and into the Kitchen where a Woman legs are shown next to dog food that said "Kirby kibble" with a dog in front of the bag happy.
Announcer on TV: Kirby kibble dod food, now with the Kirby dots of real beef that dogs love.
Hulk: Ugh, Stupid commercials.
As he takes another handful and when the commercial camera goes up we see the woman was actually Amora as she smiles right through the TV while petting the dog.
Amora: Hello again, monster.
Hulk was immediately taken aback by the sudden appearance of The Enchantress as he grabbed the couch and throws it at the TV before a shadowy figure appeared behind him and it was the Abomination as he holds him in place before Amora green mystic mist raises up and we see her wickedness in front of the fireplace before she moved to the side and summon a portal as Hulk didn't want to find out where it goes to and he breaks free only for Abomination to kick him in the portal as it closes on him as the two smile that Hulk was out of this world... literally.
Jotunheim Realm
We see Hulk was in a frozen land as he found out as he faceplants onto the snow and looks up when he heard thundering footsteps as he looks up and we see a couple of frost giants with huge ice weapons.
Avengers Mansion
In the Mansion Training Room we see Steve going through the gauntlet as he jumps over a spike pit with front flip before the next trap comes into play as they are rocket launchers as it explodes but we see Caps shield cuts down the middle of the rocket launcher and explodes as Cap shield hits the wall and comes back to him as he adjusted the shield before the lights came off as he questions if this was Tony's doing.
Captain America: Tony?
He hears a 'shing' sound from a weapon being pulled out as he turns around and see's someone hold a battle axe before he dodges and shoved him away before we see it was Skurdge and Wonder Man as he grabs Cap ram him into a wall and drops him before Skurdge knocks him out as he falls to the ground and looks around before he drifts into unconsciousness as he sees Zemo kneeling before him.
Zemo: I told you when we last met this wasn't over, Captain. Now it is.
As we see Steve finally unconscious we see Wonder Man, Skurdge, and Zemo looking down we see Amora enters and wondering about the Avengers other heavy hitter.
Amora: What of Thor?
Zemo: I haven't forgotten, Echantress. The Thunderer and Ant-Man remain. (pulls out Wasps Avenger ID card.) Avengers Assemble.
Janet's ID card as we see her face on it and the Letter 'A' glowing as they have called the Avengers.
Central Park
Enjoying a rare moment of peace, the Asgardian prince found himself engaged in a very different activity than what he was used to on a moonlit walk with paramedic Jane Foster. The mortal woman had seemingly bewitched him after they met, when he had rescued her from an assault by the Wrecking Crew. Since then he'd done his best to spend time with her and get to know her better. Impressed by her bravery and heroism despite her lack of powers or strength, Jane Foster was a woman constantly on his mind
Jane: So, is your dad still taking his 'big nap'... what did you call it again?
Thor: The Odinsleep. No, he has woken by now.
Jane: And you haven't talked to him yet?
Thor: Um... Nay, Jane Foster. I have not returned to Asgard since last we spoke.
Thor said, sounding almost uncomfortable.
Thor: I have been needed here.
He explained. Jane paused, nodding in acceptance as she spied a couple sharing a kiss on a nearby bench.
She wondered if such ideas ever crossed Thor's mind, or if Asgardians even considered it at all..
Thor: The Avengers are formidable, but the threats they face... it would seem I am needed more than ever.
Thor mused, donning his winged helmet. Jane studied him for a moment. Thor shared it, enjoying this moment of peace with Jane before it was interrupted by a steady beeping. He frowned and pulled his ID card from his belt.
Thor: This card is troubling. Iron Man's technology is constantly making noises at me.
He complained.
Jane: I think they're calling you, Thor.
Jane stated with a slight chuckle.
Jane: Like you said, you're needed.
Nodding in understanding, Thor lifted Molnir from its place on his belt.
Thor: Then until our next meeting.
He promised, spinning his hammer around to build up speed.
Thor: Fare thee well, lane Foster.
He bade before surging into the sky and taking flight towards the mansion, Jane watching him go with a look of longing in her eyes.
Avengers Mansion
Within moments, the mighty Thor had found his destination and touched down from above, the rooftop skylight opening wide to allow him access to the main hall.
Thor: Ho, Avengers! Ho, computer!
He called out in greeting.
Thor: Thor has arrived!
???: Welcome, Asgardian.
An unfamiliar voice replied from the top of the entry stairs. Thor turned, his eyes widening as he laid eyes on the stranger in the mansion as it was Baron Zemo.
Thor: I know of thee, you are Captain America's foe... Zemo!
Chuckling in response, Zemo already had in mind what he wanted to tell the so-called 'thunder god'
Zemo: You may call me Master. Now, kneel before me.
Thor: Are you mad, mortal? Thor kneels before No one.
Then a shine of gold energy rises up as it was teleporting magic and we see Toxzon, Wonder man, Crimson Dynamo, Abomination, Amora, and finally Skurge as they surround him and The Enchantress went to Zemo and leaned on his shoulder and places a hand on his chest as Thor stares at Zemo as he repeats his demand.
Zemo: As I said, kneel before your masters.
Thor didn't like that as he fights the Masters of Evil as he raised his Hammmer and developed electric static and brought it down on the floor as it shocked Wonder man and Abomination. Toxzon unsheathe his three claws to attack but is hit in the chest with a Hammer as Thor turns around and hits Crimson Dynamo in the chest before throwing Mjolnir at Skurge hitting him in the face as it travels to Enchantress as she stops it with her magic as Thor is now weaponless.
Behind Thor Crimson Dynamo aimed his 3 wrist mounted Missiles as Thor sees them and dodges one but the other two hit him as he groans in pain as then Skurdge tackles Thor to the ground but used his momentum to kick him into Dynamo as Thor gets up we see Wonder Man Fire his ionic energy blast from his hand as he goes back into Abomination as Skurdge grabs Thor as to hold him some more before Wonder Man blasts him with more Ionic Energy and he falls down as he drifts into unconsciousness as the whole world went dark.
Outside
As it was nice and clear night moments ago now turned into a Dark and stormy night as we see Thunder and lightning but we see across the street was T'Challa in his Black Panther hero suit as we see Hawkeye as he looks through his telescope and see the Masters of Evil carrying Thor to the Sub-Levels of the Mansion.
Hawkeye: Well, that's not good. All right, we call in SHIELD, go in with the Hulkbuster gear and...
Black Panther: (Interrupts Hawkeye.) And destroy the city in the issuing battle... as well as seal the fates of our captive teammates.
As Hawkeye sensed that Black Panther didn't like bringing SHIELD into this as it might hurt the civilians so he asked what he wanted to do in this Hostage situation.
Hawkeye: Well, what do you recommend?
T'Challa looks down to his left and in thought before coming up with a plan. If they called in SHIELD it would result in a citywide block being destroyed, if they didn't they would get captured and then killed by the Masters of Evil. Either choice was a bad plan but they needed to move quickly before their teammates and friends would be killed.
Black Panther: Indeed. It is up to us.
In the Assembly Hall
We see thunder and lightning inside the Mansion while Zemo looks inside the mansion Zemo he had Captain America Shield before going towards the fireplace where Wonderman and Crimson Dynamo were waiting as Wonderman looks at Zemo wondering what he's going to do with the Avengers.
Wonderman: What are you going to to do, Zemo?
Zemo: Do not be so troubled my Wonderman. All you need to know is that if you do as I say, you will get your humanity back.
Crimson Dynamo: And what about Stark?
Zemo could sense his anger as he really wanted to kill him as he calms him down.
Zemo: And you needn't worry either, Dynamo. You can have Iron-Man. I have a much bigger appetite.
Crimson didn't like it as he stands in Zemo's way.
Crimson Dynamo: (Anger) When?
Zemo: When I say so.
The two stared at each other as if peering into their souls as It lasted a few whole seconds when I could have been a hour before Crimson Dynamo stops and stands aside. As we see Skurdge and Toxzon as the two were patrolling the mansion for anything irregular.
Toxzon: Now Fishy, why do you make me blush... (Giggles.)
As Skurdge raises an Eyebrow at this mad toxic scientist as he feeds his plastic fish in his tubes on his back and leaves to go elsewhere then listen to that man talk to himself as he looks outside and we see lightning before we see a Shadow of a certain Archer as he ducks away.
The Sub-levels
We see the Avengers tied up in green Mist as Generator wakes up and notices everyone was tied up in Magic courtesy if Echantress as he tries to wake up Rex.
Generator: (Telepathic) Rex? Rex! REX!!
Rex then wakes up immediately and see's Captain, Wasp, and Iron Man all together as he see Abomination and Zemo as he grabs a glass of water.
Zemo: Oh? Your awake I suppose it's good to see a friendly face when awake then unconscious.
Rex: We'll see about that... STRENGTH MODE!
As Rex would be in strength mode but the magic from Enchantress surrounding him is cancelled out his mode uses as Zemo could smirk under his purple mask.
Zemo: (Chuckles) Sorry but the enchantress made sure that you wouldn't be calling out your... mode's anytime soon.
He then dumps it on Steve's face as he coughs and looks up to see his arch enemies Baron Zemo and behind him Abomination as he overlooks everything.
Captain America: Zemo.
Zemo: (Throws cup on floor) Welcome back, Captain.
Rex: Hey, Cap.
Captain America then noticed that Rex was awake as he then had a million things go through his head as he tries to bargain his life for theirs.
Captain America: You've got me, Zemo. There's no need to involve anyone else.
Zemo simply laughs as if he heard a joke as this wasn't shaping up to be the greatest day for anyone other then the villains.
Zemo: Ah, but the Avengers are already spoken for, Captain. You're new friends have made powerful enemies.
Rex kept quite he was actually communicating with Generator as the two are Connected to each other through the suit as it is a perfect mesh of mesh of machine and man.
Rex: (Telepathic) Generator can we send help?
Generator: (Telepathic) Working on it...
Generator with his eye was looking through communications when he saw something that piqued his interest and responds to Rex Telepathically of course as to not arouse any suspicion.
Generator: (Telepathic) Well I'll be... Rex don't worry buddy we're going to be fine.
Rex: (Telepathic) You haven't been wrong yet. I hope you know what you're doing buddy.
As if nothing had happened as he looks at Zemo and Abomination as they continue to talk.
Captain America: What do you want? The war is over. After all these years, is revenge on me really that important to you?
Zemo: Yes. But now, Captain, I've been promised the world. And you will live just long enough to see me have it.
This confused Cap and Rex as they stared at each other as Zemo been promised the world? Who would make him that deal to begin with but as they figure out what he means two other Avengers are currently working together to save the Avengers.
In the Mansion
As we see Toxzon, Crimson Dynamo, and Wonderman guard the fireplace entrance we see a shadow move across the room as it was cat like man as it was Black Panther as he distracts them as they see that shadow before looking in the foyer where Black Panther was. As they looked at each other and left their posts to see what it was as we see Hawkeye as he went behind them and used the fireplace to go into the Sub-levels.
The sub Level
We see Hawkeye go into the area as they look around and run to where they needed to be.
The Foyer
We see Crimson, Wonderman, and Toxzon look around we see a shadow of Black Panther as he was prepared to attack.
The Hall Assembly
We see Thor was on the Assembly table of the Avengers as he slowly wakes up and we see the Enchantress walk up to him and comforts him as she binds him.
Amora: Shh, be at ease my love. You are safe with me.
Thor recognized who it was and remembered what had happened to him tried to remove his magical binds as he is confused by Amora choice to help a mortal.
Thor: Enchantress? What are you do, Amora? You are Asgardian, not some lackey to a mortal Villain.
Amora: (Slightly Giggles) Zemo is but a toy to be discarded when tire of him.
Thor knew there was something going on as he demanded to know what was happening.
Thor: What do you want?
Amora then looked over him as she touched his face as she wants him all to herself.
Amora: (Sultry Voice) You of course. You have always been my heart's desire. We could leave Midgard and Asgard behind, and we can be together.
Thor: I say thee... nay.
Thor would rather go through Surturs fire pit and suffer from Frost Giants than ever not protect both Asgard and Midgard from dangerous threats then going off with the Enchantress.
As Zemo looks back and notices Enchantress looking over Thor as he quickly walks over to find out what is happening as Abomination follows, while they were distracted Rex and Generator were communicating Telepathically.
Zemo: What are you doing Enchantress?
Rex: (Telepathically) Man... The Enchantress really likes being close to Thor. What sorta evil thing she's doing to Thor?
Generator: (Telepathically) Who knows but no worries our potential escape is still happening.
Rex had been quiet as to not respond to their situation but tries to get out of his bonds but they are mystical Asgardian black magic so it is impossible to get out.
Abomination: It's a mistake to keep them alive, Zemo.
Zemo: I will not be questioned by you, Abomination.
Abomination then gets mad at their leader and turns him around to face him.
Abomination: Don't ignore me. You got no powers, no strength. You're nothing. So why are you giving orders to us? The Avengers are done so is this mission.
Zemo: The Hulk is still alive, but the bigger threat is Ant-Man.
Abomination just laughs as he thinks it will be easy to take down Ant-Man as he hasn't had experience in handling him before.
Abomination: Ant-Man? If you're worried about Ant-Man. Then we really are better off without yo--
Zemo had enough of his attitude decided to put him in place as he used Caps shield to hit his right arm as it went limp and then he leg sweep the Abomination as he falls to the ground as he rubbed his head before Zemo takes out his Sword and looks at his associate as Abomination looks up at him.
Zemo: Ant-Man is the last Avenger. He's a threat. And you wish to know why I lead?
Abomination kept looking up as he glared at Zemo as his Sword was right at his neck as it could puncture his throat out at any moment.
Zemo: Because I am better than you.
Abomination: Ant-Man is not the last Avenger. There's two more.
Then a Arrow hits Abomination face as it was one of Hawkeye's Trick Arrows and shocks Abomination as he rolls to his side in pain and unconscious. Zemo looks up and we see More Arrows to which he blocks one with Caps shield and slices the other two with his sword and Amora then teleports herself away and a Arrow almost hits her and reappears next to Zemo as Hawkeye jumps down from the rafters and lands on the Assembly Table as he stares at the two masters of Evil.
Hawkeye: Ok, that was a good move.
Rex: Hawkeye! Thank goodness! Have you brought backup?
Hawkeye: Nope, just us Avengers.
Rex: Are you serious? It's just you and Panther?
Hawkeye: Yep.
Rex: Great...
Rex I then looks down as he seemed to be in thought about something before looking up at Clint.
Rex: You know what to do!
Hawkeye: Got it.
Amora had enough of this farce and immediately attacks first.
Amora: You are worm food, mortal.
Amora with her magic powers attacked Hawkeye as he dodged her and Zemo heard a static sound before hearing another one of his accomplices under attack.
Crimson Dynamo: (Through Radio.) Zemo, another Avenger is inside the Mansion. The Wakandan.
On the Foyer
We see T'Challa fight as he has Wakanda Vibranium Daggers in his hands and throws them at Dynamo stay y. Toxzon as the two block them before Toxzon fires his Toxic Gauntlets and fired at T'Challa as Wonderman doesn't do anything to retaliate as they simply pass through him.
Crimson Dynamo: Someone crush him!
Now Wonderman ordered to fight as he aims his arm and Ionic Energy come out and with the combined with Toxzon slime projectiles as it hit where T'Challa used to be before dodging them quickly when Skurdge Axe came in to slice him but hit the Pillar instead.
In the Assembly Hall
We see Thor struggling with his bonds as was Rex as he stares at Zemo and Hawkeye fighting.
Hawkeye then gets cornered as he tries to dodge each attack before dodging under Zemo and he kicked him into Abomination as he smiles before crushing the Archer.
Rex: Hawkeye!
Abomination: I owe you some payback, Robin Hood.
Hawkeye: (Groans.) Please, I'm begging you. Brush your teeth.
All the fighting that happened makes Tony wake up as Rex said hi to his leader in a casual way as he seemed not to worried about their situation.
Rex: Hey, Tony.
Iron Man: Rex? What?
As he looks around he notices that everyone in the Avengers were captured and the Masters of evil had where they wanted them as Skurdge, Wonderman, and Toxzon bring in Black Panther on their shoulders as their rescue plan failed.
Iron Man: Hawkeye are you insane? Why didn't you bring in SHIELD?
Black Panther was thrown to the ground as was Hawkeye as he chastised Panther as they should have gone with his plan.
Hawkeye: See, I knew it!
Zemo: Ah, the SHIELD agent and the Wakandan King. You should have walked away from the Avengers before it came to this. Now, you must be punished.
Black Panther: I AM AN AVENGER! And I will meet my end with pride.
Zemo looks at Panther with a humorous smirk before looking at Clint as he wonders what he is going to say as his last words are going to be.
Hawkeye: I'm going to meet mine with kicking and screaming.
Tony, Steve, and Rex struggle to get out of their magic binds as Janet was still unconscious.
Zemo: You choose, Captain. Which of your teammates will be the first to taste my blade?
Hawkeye: You know what, Zemo? I want to go first. I'm tired of listening to you.
Zemo: Amusing. Did you really believe the two of you could defeat all of us?
Hawkeye: (Chuckles.) Weird. Purple puss here seems to think we were trying to defeat him.
This confused the Masters of Evil as they look at each other.
Black Panther: I heard. He is misguided. We were not trying to defeat your team, Baron. We were simply allowing Ant-Man uninterrupted access to his lab.
Flashback, Moments before entering the Mansion
We see Black Panther looking down as we see it was Hank Pym or Ant-Man as he is called riding on his Ant in the rain as they devise a plan to save their Teammates lives.
Hawkeye: (Narrative.) Yeah, we picked him up from the Wakandan Embassy while you tools were starting your little siege here.
Presently in Hanks Mobile Lab
We see Hank work on a device as we see sparks fly onto the wall.
Hawkeye: (Narrative.) He just needed to get a few things.
In the Assembly Hall
We see the true plan was to get Hank inside and get a few things to help even the odds as Zemo hears the door open and we see Hank in the door way holding a device of some sort as he orders all the Villains to stand down.
Ant-Man: Surrender, Zemo. End this before anyone gets hurt.
As all the others look at Ant-Man we see Janet actually wake up as she notices Hank and warns him to leave.
Wasp: Hank? Are you crazy? Run!
Zemo: Tear... him... APART!
Wonderman goes on the attack as Hank sees this but regrets doing this to him.
Ant-Man: (Turns on device.) Sorry, Simon.
Ant-Man points the device and pulls the trigger as it descrambles Wonderman Ionic energy into thin air before he drops the device and breaks it before he shrinks in yellow Pym particles and is on the floor somewhere as the Masters of Evil look for him.
Zemo: He shrunk down, Dynamo.
Dynamo complies as his hand turn into mini gun and inside the Visor we see him looking for Ant Man and found him as he runs across the floor and we see him fire his weapons as Ant-Man dodges them.
Hank presses another button and it suddenly surrounds him in blue Pym Particles as he grew and charged at Abomination.
Abomination: Come on, Bug!
Abomination was ready to fight but seeing Ant-Man grow in size as a Giant shocked him.
Abomination: What are you..? Huh?
Ant-Man now Giant-Man kicks him as he cries out in pain as he broke through the sub level glass and hit the rocky ceiling as Ant-Man looks at where he kicked Abomination he is soon fired upon by Dynamo as he blocks those shots before a Vibranium dagger hits his visor leaving it cracked as it seemed to stop him.
While Hawkeye was handling Thor's bonds we see Panther providing cover before the two were warned by Rex.
Rex: Look out!
We see Toxzon with his gauntlet dagger's out as he slammed into where Hawkeye was as he and Panther dodged him Panther then uses his Vibranium Claws to slice at Toxzon as it scratched Toxzon face as he holds it in pain as we see usually blood but actually Toxic green as it falls to the ground burning the floor. As Hawkeye pulls out his bow he notices Enchantress was about to attack but he struck first and used one of his trick arrows and a explosion seem to knock her down. While she was out the green mist bonds then disappeared as all the Avengers were free as Cap runs to get his Shield Rex covering for him in case of trouble and Wasp shrinks and flys off to help the Avengers while Tony gets his Armor.
Iron Man: JARVIS, Activate remote recall. Mark Seven.
JARVIS: Remote launch activated.
Tony's Armory
We see Iron Man's armor come online and ready to fly and ready for battle.
Avengers Mansion Foyer
We see Thor's Hammer, Mjolnir being called upon as it flys and goes through the floor.
The Sub-Levels
We see the Hammer go through rock as it flys back to its owner. In the Assembly Hall Amora was coming to as Thor overshadowed her as his Hammer returned to him and he grasped it.
Amora: Thor, you would not harm me, would you?
Thor: Nay.
Thor then used his Hammer to summon a portal and we see something coming from it as it was the Hulk as he was covered in snow and carried a Ice club as he looks less then happy to be in the Realm Jotunheim.
Thor: But my friend might.
Much to Amora dismay as Hulk remembers what she did to him and added the portal to another Realm thing it was clear that she was about to receive.
Hulk: (Slowly Getting Angry.) You...
Hulk then roars in Anger and charges at her.
Amora: Executioner, I need you.
Skurdge then shoulder rams Hulk as he glares at him for trying to hurt Amora and his Enchanted Axe becomes super heated as Behind then we see Hawkeye blocking all the sword attacks with his bow or dodging them as he jumps back and we see Cap jumps and tackles Zemo as he had his Shield.
Captain America: I'd like my Shield back now. It needs to be cleaned.
Cap got his Shield back as Zemo tried to cut him but used his shield to block all the attacks. Wonderman was then putting himself back together as Dynamo fired at Black Panther as he dodged all his shots before We see Generator popping out of Rex and doing a Scan of Dynamo armor and Weapons as he received a lot of ideas for later use.
Rex: What are you doing? We're needed!
Generator: Rex, I know but I didn't have time to scan him earlier and I have found a new Mode to use!
Rex: New Mode?
Generator: Yeah check this out!
Suddenly Generator spreads out his arms and lands on Rex's chest as sudden surround by blue cosmic energy as we see Rex's new mode as it had more armor and more weapons on it and a mounted weapon on both shoulders as one one the left was Anti-Air/Tank Cannon and the other Mini machine gun, as the main color scheme was blue and white his body had more armor it was like he was a walking Tank.
Rex: Woah! This feels amazing.
Generator: Like it? I believe this mode to be called... Tank Mode!
Rex: Tank mode? I like it.
Red smirked under his helmet as he looked through his visor and we see Dynamo fire shoulder rockets at Panther as he runs away inside his helmet we see red lights targeted the missiles and soon Rex fires his machine gun up as it spools out small cosmic energy bullets and shoots out all the missiles in the air leaving Panther alone as he looks to see Rex sporting himself a new look as Dynamo notices as well both were shocked by his new look as before they could get their wits about them Rex fired his rocket boots and floats a bit and flies into Dynamo as he tackles him to the ground and drags him across the floor before cracking his visor some more. As they go by Thor as he backs away he is shocked to see Rex in a new power he is attacked by Enchantress as he flys back and we see Ant-Man becoming a giant and Wonderman became a giant sized villain as well as he grabs Hank.
Giant-Man: Simon, I'm glad to see you up and about. What are you doing with these people? Your a good man. You don't want any part of this.
Wonderman: I don't have any choice. They're the only reason I'm even alive. And if I want to stay alive, I do what they say.
Wonderman was about to punch him when a repulsor blast caught his attention. He turned around and we see Tony in his Iron-Man suit burst through the wall and Attacking Simon as he backs away and the Masters of Evil regroup as did the Avengers as Rex in Tank mode went back to Base mode and Tony lands in front of the Avengers.
Iron-Man: Alright, team. I want this Scum out of my house right now.
The Avengers charge as did the Masters of Evil as they close in on each other.
Zemo: Destroy then all!
As they move in closer and closer Thor raises his Hammer as did Executioner with his Axe and sent a huge blinding spark as we cut to outside of the Sub-Level and we see explosions happening all over the place.
In the Hanger Bay
We see Iron-Man fighting Wonderman as he throws a angry punch at him.
Wonderman: STARK!
As the first punch missed the second one didn't as it sent him flying until we see Thor as he raises his Hammer in a battle cry and slams him into the water as he skidded all the way back to the edge of the pool.
Tony's Armory
We see Dynamo was firing his arm cannon at Black Panther as he lands on Tony's armor and jumps off and hides as Wasp was behind Dynamo and flys up around the front and we see the crack made by both Panther and Rex created a small opening where Wasp sees and enters.
Wasp: This is gonna hurt...
Dynamo: Huh?
As Crimson Dynamo was a bit scared as he stares at Wasp inside his suit as she powers up her Stinger's.
Wasp: And I won't lie to you, I'm kind of glad.
Outside the suit we see Wasp stings Dynamo as he rattled in pain before falling down.
In the Training Room
We see Hawkeye, and Ant-Man together as we see Skurdge the Executioner as he raises his Axe and heat comes off it before we see fire on the ground as the three split up as Executioner hits Hawkeye as he falls to the ground and lost his bow he grabs one of his Arrows and jumps up and as it hit his head it let out smoke as to which the Executioner tried to swat it away before Hank in his Giant form slammed him into the ground where we see Hanks hand imprint and at the center we see Skurdge as he knocked down.
In the Lab area
We see Enchantress and Hulk fight well Hulk was fighting as Enchantress runs away. Toxzon and Rex were there as well as they fight each other as Rex dodge Toxzon three blades in each gauntlet as he sliced up some of the lab equipment but Rex sees a power box and leads him to it. When Rex led him there it shocks Toxzon and blasts him back before Hulk forcefully steps on Toxzon chasing after Enchantress ignoring what he stepped on as Toxzon moans in pain. Rex seething his teeth as he felt almost bad for him... almost.
In the Assembly Hall
We see Zemo and Cap fight each other as both were evenly matched before Cap got the upper hand and punched Zemo away as he looks to Enchantress as she dodged Hulk from throwing one of the equipment there breaking it.
Zemo: Enchantress we are leaving!
In the Lab
We see Enchantress readily comply as she gathers her magical energy and disappears in a teleportation spell which Hulk slams his fist where she was and was confused on where she went as did Rex as Toxzon got up from the floor to fight some more as he disappears the same way Amora left.
The Hanger Bay
We see Wonderman fights with Tony as he repulsor him but it never happened as he disappears. Leaving Thor and Iron man alone and confused.
The Armory
As Panther and wasp look down at the defeated Crimson Dynamo with great victory he too his teleports away.
The Training Room
We see Hawkeye and Ant-Man look at the defeated Skurdge before he disappears as well.
Outside the Sub-Level
We see Abomination unconscious and in the rock rubble being teleported as well.
The Assembly Room
As Cap tries to stop Zemo but he escapes as well leaving the Avengers alone as they may have escaped from their bonds and fought back the Masters of Evil but they still escaped leaving this to be a half win for the Avengers.
Morning, Avengers Mansion
As Rex got an Ice pack from the fridge and other medical equipment to help ease their pain from this attack.
We see the Avengers in the Lounge/Theater room as Rex immediately gives Wasp a bag of ice as she had a black eye as Rex leans on the top of the couch.
Wasp: Thanks.
Rex: Well... as today goes this wasn't that bad... (Seethes in pain.)
Wasp: You ok?
Rex: Yeah... Stinky and and his goons thought it was funny to beat me up some more before my capture. I think I my rib cage is a bit broken.
Tony: I still can't believe it though.
Tony who is now out of his Armor as he is now into his techno suit after hearing what Toxzon can do now as he can create more of these Goopoids.
Tony: I knew the crystal is powerful but allowing him to have the ability to suck up pollution and create these new creatures are... incredible. I just can't find any limits of power to the crystal you brought in.
Rex: Yeah, well I got the bruises to prove it.
Suddenly their heroes of the day arrive as Hawkeye sits next to wasp as did Hank on the other side as she asks him about Wakanda.
Wasp: So when did you get back from Wakanda?
Hawkeye: (Sighs.)
Generator: Something the matter, Clint?
Hawkeye: Ah. You know, I'm not so sure I wanna be part of a team I have to rescue every week.
Rex: Well, maybe after this they'll let you be in charge now. Maybe team leader.
Hawkeye: Really? You think?
Rex: Of course Generator had to get you inside without setting off the silent alarms of course.
Hawkeye: What? You knew?!
Rex: I didn't, Generator Did.
Flashback
We see Generator looking at the Acenger Mansion schematics as he hacked into security cameras and we see Hawkeye, Panther, and Ant-Man going into the building as Generator actually turned off security that the Masters of Evil set up.
Rex: (Narrator.) If it wasn't for him hacking into the Mansion security everything would have not gone to plan now wouldn't it.
Present time
Hawkeye then looks at Generator as he had a smug look about him.
Generator: (Smug.) Yeah... I'm good.
Tony: Ok, stop. Everyone, stop. Does anyone know what that was about?
Thor: Our wished vengeance upon us. Defeat does not sit well with some.
Captain America: I'm not so sure. Zemo. He seemed so certain of what he was doing. Like he was going to put the word right in his hands.
Tony: How?
Rex: He said someone had promised it to him.
This didn't bold well with the others as they looked at Rex as he had heard it as well. It was clear that the Masters of Evil were working with someone but who?
In Arnim Zola's Lab, undisclosed location
We see Arnim was working on a formula as he then sees Zemo and his team return from the Mansion bruised and battered as they blame each other for their failure.
Zemo: I told you not to underestimate them.
Abomination: And you didn't account for Panther and Hawkeye.
This made the two about to fight as Echantress looks at them and got them to stop.
Amora: Enough.
As they look at Enchantress as she fixes her attire and leaves them as Executioner follows her.
Amora: It doesn't matter. None of it does. For it all a game, and you've played your parts.
As it was clear that the Masters of Evil wasn't Zemo in charge but someone else as Enchantress walks through the Door we see Skurdge Protects it.
In a Dark Room
We see Amora using her powers to make a mirror of sorts as a way of communicating with someone beyond it as we couldn't make him out in the shadows.
Amora: The Pieces are in place, my Lord.
The Lord then smiles as we see his teeth as he sits upon a throne...
