In the Wilderness
We see in the wild where we see Trees and mountains and the stary night sky we see the Quinjet being driven by Rex as he was Piloting and testing out the speed of the Jet as he was actually flying Jenet and Hank out in the middle of nowhere.
Rex: FINALLY! I can test out this baby!
Wasp: You seem enthusiastic.
Rex: I finally get to fly the jet now and Tony or anyone else can't tell me otherwise... except you of course, Jan
Wasp: Oh thanks. So can I drive?
Rex: Sure.
As Rex was actually pleased to release the controls to Wasp as she was taking it easy as Rex watched Wasp have some fun.
Rex: Ok, now I know you had some experience with driving this and--
Wasp: Yeah, I got this, this is the throttle, the steering, the navigation system, autopilot and firing weapon system.
Rex: Well... color me impressed. Your learning.
Wasp: I do have to thank you for some of the Training advice. What do you think, Hank how's my flying?
Rex did help her train to pilot one of the Quinjet as he had his helmet off and he just blushed a bit as Hank was in the Co-Pilot seat as Rex stares at Hank as he seems to be working on something as he suddenly looks up and seemed to return back to earth from his world of Science.
Ant-Man: Huh? Oh, uh, sorry wasn't paying attention what did you say?
Wasp and Rex had unbelievable looks on their face before Wasp had an idea.
Wasp: Hey why don't you and me go to a movie tonight after visiting my friend.
Ant-Man: Can't I have a science experiment at the Mansion and Generator is helping me with it.
Generator then pops out of Rex as he backs it up.
Generator: Yeah, us science bros are currently working on mapping a brain onto a robot and using some of my intelligence to be incorporated into it. Isn't that cool?!
Rex: Yeah... cool. Although have you heard the term 'Work Hard and play hard'?
Ant-Man: What does that have to do with anything?
Rex: I'm just saying you can't always work all the time.
Wasp: Yes! Thank you, Rex! He gets it. We should be having fun instead of... working all the time.
Ant-Man: What's wrong with working? Whenever we work together we save the world. We also work together in science? Is that bad?
As Rex gets Janet's idea but honestly how Hank got her to fall in love with him is beyond his thinking but also felt a bit sullen as he looks at Janet as he was in love with her with all his heart. But her heart belongs to another so he continues to be silent with his unrequited love in the back of the Quinjet something Generator noticed.
Wasp: I'm just saying it doesn't always have to be work, work, work.
As Rex looks up and we see a deep dish space station that works on communications from outter space as he walks to the front in awe.
Wasp: We could take a break, get away and relax. Have some fun.
Ant-Man/Generator: Science is fun./Science is fun.
Ant-Man and Generator seem to be on the same wavelength as Rex feels like he's drifting apart from his partner and Wasp complicated relationship as Wasp was more angry with Generator as he seemed to be more on the same wavelength as Hank and the fact that he was more interested in science then her was hurtful.
From Observatory Helipad
We see the station had a heliport pad ready for them to land. As they exit the Quinjet we see Hank steps off first followed by Generator, Wasp, and Rex as they walk across the pad as Janet decides to talk out loud.
Wasp: (Sighs.) Maybe Tony will go with me.
This made Rex blood boil as he thought about Janet and Tony together as it was unlikely but that didn't stop him from looking at Janet with a raised eyebrow and a bit of despair as Hank questions that too.
Ant-Man: Tony? Why would you ask Tony?
Then a woman then answered that question for Janet.
???: You mean beside from the good looks, money, and super armor.
Rex was shocked to see the woman as he was a bit taken back by her presence as Janet immediately goes in for a hug as she knew who it was. We see a Caucasian woman with blonde hair and blue eyes and wearing a jumper suit the kind pilots wear and scarf around her neck and military boots as her name is Carol Danvers and she is currently waiting for them.
Wasp: Carol! I'm so glad you called. I've missed you.
Carol: (Returns the hug and laughs.) I missed you to, Jan. But actually Hank's the one I need to see. I need his help.
Wasp/Ant-Man: (Confused.) Really?/(Excited.) Really?
Carol: And who's your friends?
As Janet then introduced them to the recent rookie in the super hero business.
Janet: Sorry allow me to introduce you to our friends Generator and Rex.
Rex: Also known as 'Generator Rex' it's nice to meet you.
Carol: Like wise. The names Major Carol Danvers. So did you just added your front names together?
Generator: It took some time but thanks to my... genius intellect I found the perfect name for us.
Rex: Yeah, he's the brains and I'm the brawn in this here situation.
Carol: Brains huh? Well we could use some of that more then ever.
Ant-Man: Say, Generator is as smart as me he could come with and help solve this problem you're having.
Carol: Then you can help us out Generator.
As Carol lifts her hand and Generator shakes as Carol grasps her hand around his flipper and shake.
Inside the Observatory
The complex was filled with technological devices and all manner of computers, As Rex is able to see while Generator able to sense dozens of transmissions and data feeds swirling around him. This place was truly a complex network and a powerful one at that, Generator could feel it with every fibre of his mechanical being.
Leading them up a flight of stairs, Carol directed the four to a monitoring room with a vast skylight to reveal the starry sky above.
Wasp: Wait, what's this place again?
Wasp wondered as she looked around in awe.
Ant-Man: Try to keep up, Jan.
Hank remarked as he dutifully followed Carol towards a computer bank. Hutting in annoyance, Janet put her hands on her hips.
Wasp: (Mocking tone.) Try to keep up, Jan. Ugh!
She repeated in a sarcastic, mocking tone. Then Rex Placing a gentle hand on her shoulder, as she turned around as Rex offered her a soft and assuring look as he enjoy actually touching her bare skin before she left him to go to Carol as he then went back to reality of their relationship.
Rex: So what is this place?
Ant-Man: This is a joint military-SHIELD facility working with one of the most advanced space-based telescopes ever designed.
Hank described, his voice nearly vibrating with giddiness.
Rex: (Whistles.) Sounds like ol' Hubble's got some competition.
Carol: Has been for the past ten years.
Carol answered, pausing by the central console where a man was seated at the controls.
Carol: This is Doctor Philip Lawson. Our lead scientist.
As She introduced and Rising trom his seat, the dark haired, green-eyed man was clean shaven and wore a crisp, freshly pressed blue Air Force uniform. Pristine and perfectly composed in every sense of the word.
Lawson: I can't begin to tell you how pleased I am to meet you. Major Danvers has told me a lot about you.
He said, shaking Hank's hand as Janet approached Carol, sizing up the new individual.
Wasp: Ooooh, he's cute!
She told Carol in a voice that was far from a whisper. As Hank shot her a frown while Rex raised an eyebrow, and Generator had a question mark on his screen as he questioned Janet choice in men and Janet simply waving at the jealous look on her boyfriend's face.
Carol: Subtle, Jan.
As Carol sighed, rolling her eyes.
Carol: Doctor Lawson, Hank's brought along some his friends to give us a hand. Apparently Generator has some history and skill regarding out current issue.
She informed her colleague.
Lawson: Well, the more the merrier. Though I must admit I never seen anything like you before.
As Philip Lawson was looking at Generator as he simply had a smug look on him.
Generator: Well, I would say I am not programmed to brag... but I'd be lying if I didn't.
As Rex simply rolls his eyes as Carol gets to the point on why they were here.
Carol: This is what I wanted to show you, Hank. We're blinked to SHIELD's orbital telescope. It spotted a object a few days ago.
Rex: Object?
Rex repeated, raising a brow.
Lawson: An 'unidentified object' if you will.
Lawson inferred.
Carol: The team here thought it was a comet at first, but it was moving faster than anything they've ever seen. We're trying to get a better look at it.
Generator: Sounds like this is a bit more than an IT problem.
Generator mused, crossing his flippers.
Ant-Man: And here I thought you wanted help with fixing the place, not... identifying a cosmic anomaly, Carol.
Lawson: Live feed from the telescope is coming in now. The data stream is to the left of the screen, Doctor Pym.
Philip told them that and Appearing on the screen was a bright violet object, streaking across the starry cosmos. It was shaped strikingly like a star, pulsing and glowing with unseen energy. The screen zoomed in, revealing a fuzzy outline as the telescope reached its maximum limit.
Ant-Man: Hard to make out.
Hank mused, stroking his chin.
Lawson: Unfortunately this is our best bet. The teams tried tracking it earlier only to find out it was too far away... moving fast but still out of our optimal range.
Generator: Nah, there's ways.
Generator interjected, floating up beside the seated Lawson.
Generator: I need a moment to rearrange some pixels is all.
His flipper settling on the console, he let his mind intertwine with the data transmissions it was giving off, its every act becoming one with his thoughts.
Lawson: I'm not sure if that's-
Lawson abruptly stopped when the screen shimmered, the image slowly crystallizing until the live feed was broadcast in the highest definition imagineable.
Generator: Who would've guessed your extra pixels were hiding behind some excess lines of code?
Generator mused, quite pleased with his efforts. meanwhile Hank took his time to study the image in total clarity.
His scientific mind raced for an answer. Stellar composition? A very large comet capable of generating a brighter atmosphere than Halley's or Halebopp? A small planetoid? The possibilities were plentiful but none truly match the description of what he was viewing.
Ant-Man: What're you thinking, Carol?
Carol: I think it's extraterrestrial. But since I'm not a fan of everyone thinking I'm crazy, wanted an expert opinion.
Wasp: Woah, wait, aliens? That's just crazy.
Rex: Seriously? You see the kind of things we deal with day by day and the prospect of aliens is crazy to you?
Carol: See what I mean?
Carol remarked with a smirk as did Hank as he returned his attention to the screen
Ant-Man: Hm... composition includes several unknown elements but nothing that suggests anything biological.
Rex: Does it have to be biological? I mean it could be something like me or maybe those Transformers Movie i watched a while back.
Ant-Man: That's just old television, Rex. And in inaccurate. Alien life has to be biological in nature in order to survive in deep space, as well as evolve to environmental conditions. Simply because biology is far more flexible and adaptive, as science has revealed.
Rex: Well... what if they're living machines? Sentient technology? Autonomous robotic organisms, or something? Wouldn't that qualify as aliens?
Rex pressed as he was feeling left out.
Ant-Man: You've been watching too many Transformers movies.
Hank replied dismissively.
Rex: I'm just a man of culture, that's all.
Rex remarked with a smirk, causing Janet to giggle.
Ant-Man: Anyway, I'm hard-pressed to call this extraterrestrial life of any sort as I'm not seeing any signs of intelligence.
All of a sudden, the object swerved, breaking the linear path the telescope had been tracking. It then began to close in, growing brighter and brighter as the gap between them began to dissipate. Those watching were quite surprised by the unexpected reaction.
Rex: I think it heard you.
Wasp: Hey! It turned! It looks like its... coming right at us?
In Space
Ad we see the SHIELD orbital telescope as then the thing hits the telescope destroying it as it heads right towards the surface of the planet.
Meanwhile
Back at the Observatory we see the screen turn to static as it is clear it was destroyed.
Wasp: That seems bad.
Hank then looks up and notices the same purple construct from on the monitor.
Ant-Man: That seems worse.
As Hank added, pointing towards the glass ceiling as the violet construct streaked by overhead. the six turned to watch it shatter the distant satellite dish, crashing through and causing a tremendous shockwave that shook the entire base, briefly illuminating them all with an unearthly light before the power cut completely and they were lost to darkness.
Meanwhile at the construct location
We see in the forest as something turned on and looks around and we see alien words on its visor as it scans with thermal imaging as it turns we see a Wolf was there as it growls before it fires a energy blast destroying the wolf. As we look up in the mountains we see the Observation complex from the smoke coming off it.
Back at the Complex
We see the computer screen began to flicker as backup power kicked in, creating a slow reboot as the facility's systems were gradually restored.
Carol: Philip! What's happening?
Lawson: One of the radar towers went offline, it caused a surge that blew back into our systems. I'm trying to reroute power.
Wasp: Went offline? Something blew up!
Janet exclaimed emphatically. Lawson did not react to her and merely turned to the four Avengers.
Lawson: Rex, can your partner do something to fix this?
Rex: Generator?
Generator: I can do it. Just gimme a sec...
Floating up to the console. Generator pressed his flippers to the device and attuned his mind to the data transmissions. He could see and hear the alarmed cries of programs and signals struggling to reconnect, calling across vast distances as they tried but failed to do as Philip was attempting to command. He helped them, bridging gaps as he rerouted power and pathways as he became the bridge to allow data and signals to connect. The facility's capabilities were directed into his mind, dispelled at his command to reform its systems and bring order out of chaos.
The static gave way to live images and proper scans as power was restored, the lights switching back on and powering up fully.
Rex: Good work. Now can someone tell me that what was that?
Generator: Whatever it was disabled the orbital telescope and just made earthfall. I'd estimate about three-and-a-quarter miles from the observatory.
Hank: That's exactly what I came up with.
As Jan's eyes widened fearfully at this might be a alien invasion or something else either way it was bad news.
Carol: Well that's a pretty big coincidence.
Rex: Unless someone told the Aliens about this place and sent some of their own Alien to destroy this place for one of their stages of invasion.
Something Lawson seemed to consider as he stops for a moment before working on the computer.
Wasp: So what are we saying here? We're under attack?
Ant-Man: I'm not saying that.
Carol: I am.
As Carol cut in, lifting a pulse rifle into her hands and priming the charge.
Carol: Who's up for a little 'first contact'?
Rex: To see Aliens that might be evil? Ok. Let's see what they are.
Janet: I'm with you, Carol.
Generator: Yeah!
Ant-Man: Let's not fight them they could be friendly.
She asked as Janet, Rex, and generator nodded as they readily volunteered, Hank doing so very reluctantly, while Philip's eyes narrowed in a concerned yet discerning way..
Outside the Complex
Janet and Carol piled into the base's humvee and drove towards the smoking impact crater, clearly marked by the column of smoke rising into the night sky. Rex took flight using his Flight mode jets while Hank shrunk down and hitched a ride on his shoulder. With the men alone by themselves, Rex thought it might be appropriate to strike up a conversation about a particularly relevant topic
Rex: I guess what they say must be true; opposites attract."
Connor mused, Helmet up and embracing his Generator Rex outfit.
Ant-Man: What's that?
Hank wondered, his silver Ant-Man helmet in place.
Rex: Just watching you and Janet tonight. And just noted that you two are really opposites.
Every word he said was as hurtful and painful as if it was a brining chain across his heart, his emotions trapped in a tug of war between reality and fantasy as they continue to talk about Janet.
Ant-Man: Well, yeah... she doesn't really share my passion for science.
Rex: She's interested primarily because you are.
Ant-Man: I know. If only I could bring her around, show her the fun side of science.
Hank mused aloud. For some reason as Rex felt really irritated by that. Hank wanted Janet to change for him? Rex didn't like that he would rather have the person be whoever they want to be then change them into something their not.
Rex: Well... look at it from her side. She wants to do stuff that she finds fun.
He suggested, keeping his cool. Some more thoughts came to him, ones that would be the right thing to say but not what he wanted to say. And yet...
Rex: I... It may not be my place, but could I offer you some advice?
Ant-Man: Well... alright.
Hank said with a slow nod. As Rex exhaled sottly, as Generator actually listened in as he was just interested in what he had to say.
Rex kept his eyes on the treetops whizzing past him as the glowing column of smoke grew larger in the background
Rex: If you want to show a girl you care, if you want her to know you well and truly love her, then you need to give yourself them. Sacrifice some time in your lab to do something she wants to do.
Hank looks down in a thoughtful hum before looking back at Rex.
Ant-Man: Did this work for you?
Rex didn't remember as he has no memory of any relationship in the past and hasn't really gone on dates seeing he's either working on machines all day and night. Even if he did go on a Date he would have to do a form for online dating as he has no clue to his job experience and family as he only has his name.
Rex: I wouldn't know... I forgot everything about my past. And as well, as you can see, I'm quite single. (slight chuckle.) I'm hoping it'll work out better for you two.
Ant-Man: (Unsure.) Erm... right...
Hank slowly replied, his voice lacking all confidence.
Meanwhile
As the boys were talking about Janet, the girls were in the Humvee talking about nothing until Carol talks to Janet about her behavior.
Carol: You're being kinda horrible to him. You know that, right?
Wasp: Who?
Carol: Hank, Genius. You can tell he's upset.
Wasp: (Scoffs) Oh, no. See you actually have to have emotions before you can get upset.
Carol: Jan, you have to know that you got him wrapped around your finger.
As emphasized with her pinky as Janet seem to care less than that.
Wasp: Whatever. From day one it's been 'strictly business'. Well strictly Science.
Carol: Yeah, well, if you keep playing your little jealousy games with him, he's gonna strictly hate you.
Wasp: Well, that be better than not getting noticed at all.
As Janet thinks about how Hank was always interested in science either with insects or microorganisms she wanted more then kisses or hugs. She wanted action, she wanted passion, she wanted feel wanted. Only 'first base' action wasn't enough for her.
And it seemed that Rex was giving all his attention to her and she liked it. Though her thoughts to herself was gone when she sees where the construct landed.
Wasp: Call me silly, but I'm thinking we're close.
We see the Humvee parked outside the crater as Generator Rex lands on the surface and goes into base mode and Hank jumps down and grows back to normal size as Carol grabs a pulse rifle and everyone looks down sees a purple glow.
Rex: Well... this isn't how I imagined first Contact to go.
Carol: Also that's disappointing.
Wasp: And you're sure this isn't aliens?
Generator pops out of Rex's chest as he got a closer look at the crater as it glows purple as he goes in for a closer look and scans the area to search for anything.
Ant-Man: There was no biological component. And that means no life. No aliens.
Rex: Unless their Robots in disguise.
Wasp: You think we should call in the other Avengers?
Carol: For what?
Generator: Nothing in there. Though I did detect a certain energy discharge.
Rex: Energy discharge? What kind?
Generator: Unknown, but whatever was here? Just left.
As Hank looks down we see the ground was flat except for one certain area as he touches the ground and felt the dirt as he was investigating Generator then felt something coming from the woods, it wasn't Biological it was mechanical, because he sensed data transmissions coming from the trees.
As we cut to the Alien point of view as it stares at Generator and sees its body signature was cold before going towards Carol's pulse rifle weapon.
We go back to the five as Carol notices Hank was being very interested in something.
Carol: All right, Hank, talk to me.
Ant-Man: There's something here.
Janet then gets freaked out as she looks around.
Wasp: (Worried.) Yeah, Aliens.
Ant-Man: We should keep moving... and it's not Aliens.
Generator: I'm detecting something...
As Generator finally talks as everyone looks at him.
Rex: What do you mean your 'detecting something' is it aliens?
Generator: No... it's something... else.
Then Bushes rustle as Wasp shrinks and instinctively fires her Stingers but there was nothing there as it was a broken tree branch they all sigh but Generator looks behind them as he seems to detect the same type of energy signature priming up as he warns everyone.
Generator: GET DOWN!
Then a green emerald energy fires at their location as Rex immediately grabs Carol and brings her safely to the ground as Janet and Hank quickly get out of the way. Wasp then looks to where the blast came from but didn't see it as she panics.
Wasp: Where is it?
Jan looks intently where it was as she saw nothing before there was a pair of green emerald eyes flicking in and out of where it came from and gasps in shock and fires hoping to hit it but didn't.
Wasp: Generator can you do anything?
Generator: It's the same type of energy I detected from the crater. Whatever it is has cloaking abilities!
Carol and Hank then get up and Generator then scans again with the help of Hank as he touches his helmet to scan what was it.
Carol: All right, I changed my mind. Call your team in. Especially invisible monster detector man.
As they scan again they look around before seeing a green emerald eyes as Janet saw earlier and it prepares to fire at them.
As Carol, Hank, Rex, and Generator see the energy blast they dodge it as Rex and Generator combine and go into a blue light of cosmic energy and went into Strength mode as Wasp fired her stinger but missed as they hit the trees.
Rex: Ok... its official. We're in trouble.
Carol: You think?
Then Rex hears something as he looks to the ground and the rest follows his gaze as we see thousands of Ants as they charge to the machine.
Rex: Well... that's scary.
Carol immediately thought it was the Aliens doing as she prepared to fire at them but Wasp immediately stops her.
Wasp: No, wait. it's Hank.
True it was Hank as he commanded the Ants to search for the Invisible Alien that is attacking them as they had found it they immediately make an outline of it as we see the legs then arms and then chassis and head as we see from the Alien point of view as it sees itself being covered in insects.
Then Hank returns to human size as he made the thing Visible to them.
Ant-Man: Invisible Monster Detector Man has the day off.
Rex: Well, done now we can see him.
Wasp: This is probably your idea of having a good time isn't it?
Ant-Man: Except for the shooting, yes.
Generator: Uh, guys I don't want to interrupt this... thing you're having but... we have a problem.
Generator was right they do have a problem it was something big and metallic as it showed it's emerald green eyes at them ready to attack.
Carol: What is that?
As if fires some form of sonic wave at them as it sent Generator Rex, Carol, and Hank to the ground while Wasp simply floated back as they hear a loud horn coming from it as we see its true form was that of a robot with Green lens on its body and purple and silver metal as everyone sizes it up as Rex took a different turn on this horrific scene.
Rex: (Happy.) I KNEW IT! It was a autonomous robot organism! In your face Hank!
Janet then hits Hank as she was angry at him for telling her it wasn't Aliens.
Wasp: I thought you said it wasn't aliens.
Ant-Man: I never said it wasn't an alien robot.
Rex: Well, wether it was an alien or robot it still attacked us and we're going to send it back from where it came in pieces!
Ant-Man: NO! Rex, wait. No sudden moves.
This confused everyone there as they stare at Him wondering why it he is stopping them.
Wasp: What? Are you on its side or something? It's an evil robot!
Rex: Yeah. Like a Decepticon. Just when you think you're safe it attacks.
Carol: Yeah. I'm gonna shoot it now, if that's ok with you three?
Generator: Hold on a sec! Hank is right.
Wasp/Rex: What?
Rex: You cannot possibly tell me that it was acting in self defense?
Ant-Man: That is exactly what we're saying. It may have been acting in self defense. It may not even understand what's happening here, so we shouldn't make any threatening moves.
We see from the robots visor as it registered their body heat and looks at Rex as his thermal energy was normal as was Janet and Hank and Carol but then noticed Rex had high energy output as his scan showed words that were Alien but then we see the scan turns into a red dot looking at Rex some would guess it might be either a 'no threat detected' or...
As the Robot took one step forward and attacked Rex as he withstood the blast as he flew miles back and down by the road he was alive but changed back to base mode and drifted into unconsciousness as Carol, Hank, and Wasp were shocked to see it attacking him.
Wasp: Rex! You know what? I had just enough about this stupid Alien Robot thing!
Wasp showing her anger at it hurting her friend as she attacked it with her stingers as it had no effect on him before Carol returned fire with her Pulse rifle. As Ant-Man then rides on his Ant and tells her to stop.
Ant-Man: You may want to stop that. I think its focus on weapons.
Carol: Then I'll give it a better look.
Carol continues to fire on her knee when the robot then fires at her location and shoots the gun out of her hand Jan comes in to save her before Hank stops her.
Ant-Man: Jan, stop. Stop attacking it!
Wasp: It attack us first!
Ant-Man: Jan!
As they stared at each other Jan then complied as ash stops fighting and when the robot looked through its scans we see nothing but heat signatures as it then focused on the Observatoryas his scan showed going there. He walks past the trio as they stare at him from behind.
Wasp: Well, that was embarrassing.
Ant-Man: It has to be heading for the observatory. Carol, drive ahead, pick up Generator and Rex, and evacuate everybody. We'll buy you some time.
Carol didn't hesitate as she gets in the car and starts her car engine.
Carol: You guys better be alive when I get back.
Carol drives ahead and picks up Rex and puts him in the car unconscious as she then drives off to warn everyone there.
Wasp: Buy some time? Let me guess, you're gonna try and talk to it?
Ant-Man: Well... yes. (pressed his Pym Particle belt.) But I'm going to be very firm.
Ant-Man then went into Giant-Man as he goes towards the robot. As Wasp follows to go see if he could reason with the Alien Robot.
Meanwhile
In the car we see Rex and Carol as she drives and talks to her radio in the Humvee.
Carol: (Through Radio.) Everyone in the Observatory needs to evacuate! I repeat needs to evacuate!
As she was trying to get everyone to leave that was working late. As Rex moans in pain before he awakes as he sees he's in the Humvee and it is currently being driven by Carol.
Carol: Good! Your ok!
Rex: (Groans.) What happened?
Generator: (Floats up from Rex.) We got knocked the heck out.
Rex then remembered what happened as he tightened his fist in anger before he tries to get out but realized he's at the Observatory.
Rex: What are we doing here?
Carol: We had to make sure that everyone is out in the observatory now everyone but Dr. Lawson is out we need to get him out now!
Rex without question then gets out of the car and runs with Carol to warn Philip Lawson.
In the Observation deck
As we see Lawson looking up to the stars as they shine we see some kinda device on his wrist as it looked alien to say the least. Until he heard footsteps and he secretly fixed his sleeve in order to hide it as we see Carol and Rex and Generator as they need to get him out.
Carol: Philip, we're evacuating. You got to clear out. We got a big problem.
Generator: Emphasis, on BIG!
Lawson: What kind of problem?
His answer was delivered to him as he looks up and we see a Flying giant Hank as he went through the glass ceiling as all of them dodges Hank before looking up to see the Alien Robot that had hit Rex and now hit Hank as it landed in the observatory.
Lawson: Oh, never mind.
Rex: YOU AND I HAVE UNFINISHED BUSINESS! TANK MODE!
Rex and Generator then go into Tank mode as he aimed his shoulder cannon at it as on his feet has been deployed spikes as to not move from this position.
Lawson: Rex! Don't!
As he moved his cannon and aimed it at its chest he fired one round as the Robot as it felt that walks back and destroys the monitor and everyone looks at his hole in his body as Lawson and Carol was shocked to see it get easily damaged by his cannon.
Rex smirks at that as he thinks it's down. Suddenly it stands back up and repair the damage as it then aims his eyes at Rex and blasts him as he lands back into the wall and slides down it as it continues to blast at it as Rex and Generator scream in pain as it is lasting longer as Lawson and Carol look at Rex taking a beating before Wasp comes in and see Generator and Rex was in danger.
Wasp: Generator! Rex!
Wasp then powers up her stingers and blast it but it really isn't doing anything at all as Rex and Generator then stop screaming when the Robot was done we see Rex's armor super steamy as Rex was in the worst pain of his life.
As Rex tries to stand up he immediately stumbles forward as he reverts back to base mode still steamy as the robot looks at the power core as it was his mission as he fires at it Hank snuck up from behind and the shot redirected at a highly explosive box which Rex noticed.
Rex: Lawson, look out!
Rex tried to save Lawson but it was too late the explosion then blasted Rex back as Lawson then tackles Carol as he proceeds to protect her from the blast but he was surrounded by green energy as his form changed from human to Alien in seconds as the Energy then transferred into her as she stared wide eyed.
As Rex gets up again he sees the robot then fire it's laser at the lights as it fell down as Rex immediately ran and pushes Janet out of harms way only to be crushed and as Wasp and Giant Man see their friend get hurt.
Wasp/Giant-Man: REX!
As the Robot turned its head around we see it's arms extending and grabs its head and we see green electricity coming from its arms. As Hank Cries out in pain Wasp sees this and immediately begins to cry out to Hank.
Wasp: Hank!
She then worry about their situation, Lawson, and Carol were hurt. Rex was under a pile of rubble and Hank was shocked and the robot was still standing.
Under the debris we see Rex's hand as it clenches in a fist and suddenly the rubble glowed blue and out comes Generator Rex as the two roar out in anger as he sees Hank was injured he immediately starts to get even more angry. This Robot could do what it wanted to him but never, never hurt his friends as he was about to fight against it once more. Then a green emerald blast hits the robot as Wasp and Generator Rex look to see Lawson who was indeed a Alien as his physical appearance changed his human form was nothing more than a Hologram
Lawson?: Everyone, stay down.
Rex: Lawson? You know this robot?
Wasp: And why are you blue?
As the three remaining look up and see the robot go close to him as it scans him as Lawson introduces his real name.
Lawson?: I am Geheneris Hala'son Mahr Vehl, Pluskommander of the Kree Void Science Navy. Deactivate all weapons and shut down this is a direct order.
Then we look at the Visor of the robots point of view as he looks at the power core as it is it's primary objective in front of him.
Robot: (Robotic Voice.) Order not valid.
It powered up its eyes as Hank noticed where it was aiming again as he warns Mahr Vehl.
Giant-Man: Lawson, the power core.
Mahr Vehl sees what he mean and so did Generator as he quickly turned Rex basic mode into flight mode as the robot fired at the power core as Mahr Vehl grabs Carol as Rex grabs Janet and Hank jumps towards the Window.
As the place starts to back up on electricity it starts to overheat and overload everything as explosions happen all over the place and we see Mahr Vehl and Rex fly out before we see Hank jump through the window and land on his feet as he coughs before looking at Mahr Vehl and Generator Rex as Vehl had Carol and Rex held ever so gently in his hand Wasp as she flys just fine much to Rex's joy as Janet looks at Hank as he was happy as well but Janet wasn't happy with Hank still as she turns her back at him and looks at Mahr Vehl.
Wasp: You got a lot of explaining to do blue guy. And to think I said you were cute.
As everyone there raised an eyebrow even though they were Wearing helmets or masks. As it is true that Mahr Vehl has a lot of explaining to do.
Hospital
We see them administering Carol into the hospital as she is strapped to a machine that is monitoring her vitals as she had a bandage around her head as Janet was in the room watching over her as some the Avengers were called to help except for Captain America, Black Panther, and Hawkeye as they stayed and Garded the Mansion seeing how the Masters of Evil once invaded their home and almost destroyed them. So we see Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man volunteered to be here as Rex was hurt as we see his Helmet was undone as he see bruised left cheek and possibly all over his body but he had a job to do and he wouldn't leave his friends to do it all alone. As Mahr Vehl feeling guilty decided to tell them why he was here.
Mahr Vehl: My name is Mahr Vehl, and I'm what you'd call a captain in the science division of the Kree Navy.
Hulk: I don't like him.
Ant-Man: You don't like anyone. Uh, please, go on. Uh, the Kree?
Mahr Vehl looks at Carol before looking at the Avengers as after he explains to them who he is he now explains what he is what his people do.
Mahr Vehl Interprets
Mahr Vehl: (Narrative) The Kree are one of the galaxies most ancient civilizations, one of the superpowers.
We then see the Kree fight another ancient and advanced civilization known as The Skrulls as they had green skin and lots of cleft chins and pointy ears as the two battle each other endlessly as we see their leaders heads in the background of their races before we see Earth caught in the middle of their war.
Mahr Vehl: (Narrative) We're at war with another one. The Skrulls. Both empires are looking for strategic footholds to fight the war as well as resources. And your solar system is in a strategically desirable location.
Present
Ant-Man: And the robot?
We see the Avengers listen to his story as they listen intently to it.
Mahr Vehl: The Kree send out a Sentry Drone to defang any natives. To eliminate long range detection, any space faring capability, and to eliminate all potential threats.
Rex: So that's why it attacked me. It deemed I was a threat.
Mahr Vehl: Yes. Your suit is far advanced then any human race I've seen even more advanced than any Kree suit I have ever seen. Who did you ever get it from?
Rex: Don't know. But I would like to meet whoever made this suit.
Generator: (Pops out Rex's Chest) Yeah, we're awesome, especially since we destroyed that robot.
Mahr Vehl: No, it isn't.
Generator: Come again?
Rex: Say what now?
At the Observatory
We see plumes of smoke from the ruined observatory.
Rex: (Background voice.) It blew itself up from that power core.
Mahr Vehl: (Background Voice.) No, Kree Sentries can't be stopped.
We then see the Kree Sentry stand back up as he stares up and ready to receive orders as we see it's chest glowing as it leaves and head elsewhere.
Mahr Vehl: (Background Voice.) If the Sentry Drone sees that a planet's population is going to be a problem...
At the Hospital
Mahr Vehl: It's designed with the capability to... eliminate the problem.
We see Janet then hear the last part from Mahr Vehl and had a worried look to her.
Wasp: Eliminate? What do you mean?
Mahr Vehl: Each sentry is equipped with a Nega Bomb, a device designed to exterminate a troublesome species on any targeted planet. And given the fight you just put up, I'd say you've got about one hour before you experience the Nega Bomb firsthand.
As everyone there looks at Mahr Vehl they were shocked by this as was Janet before she went into a scowl as she looked at Mahr Vehl.
Wasp: Hulk, smash him.
Hulk: (Grins.) Finally!
Hulk then grabs Mahr Vehl as Rex puts up his helmet and gets ready to use his cosmic energy in his hand to punch him and Iron-Man with his repulsor and Thor with his Hammer as Mahr Vehl takes out his gun and aims it at Hulk as he was pinned against the wall.
All sides were ready to take each other down without a moment's notice before Hank being the voice of reason in this.
Ant-Man: Ok, everybody. Just breathe. Let's all remember that Captain Marvel here saved Carol's life.
Wasp: Hey, you know what? I'm also remembering that he's an alien spy...
Rex: And he just told us that his people are going to wipe us out with a Nega Bomb. So, sorry if we're feeling hostile when someone sends a Drone to neutralize threats that had no reason to fight whatsoever and also try to destroy innocent people lives.
Antman needed to get on their side so he asked the one person who could explain as to why Captain Marvel is here.
Ant-Man: What is it you want, Marvel? Why are you here?
Marvel seems to have stopped as he retracted his gun into his arm and show he is peaceful.
Marvel: I want to help. I'm a scientist. A Xenobiologist.
Rex: A what?
Generator: A study of DNA.
Rex: Ooh, now I get it... Just kidding I actually don't get it.
As Hank, Generator and Tony facepalm themselves at Rex for being this dumb as Marvel raises an Eyebrow under his helmet as Rex got to an important question.
Rex: So why is a Xeno-what's it doing here in a first place?
Marvel: I have had heard rumors of a genetic anomaly on Earth, and I came to investigate. I've been studying you for three years now.
Iron-Man: Huh. Studying us? Charming.
Rex: Ok. So why the sudden change of heart? Why help us?
Marvel: Humanity seems different than most civilizations we conquer. Humans have... potential.
Marvel looks at Carol who is in the hospital bed as he currently feels bad that he caused danger to her something Rex noticed as he had good in him as he started to trust him.
Marvel: She should be allowed to survive.
Iron-Man: Don't you mean they?
Thor: Your tale rings false, Kree. You claim to be here to study humanity, yet you were at the observatory when it was attacked. You are in league with the machine.
Marvel: No! I knew the Observatory would be a target. I was trying to cloak the facility. To keep the Kree from detecting it. I failed. But there's still time to save your species. Please, let me help you.
Rex: Hulk let him go.
Hulk looks at Rex as he stares at him with anger in his eyes before Rex brought his helmet down and stares back as the two seem to be in a silent chat as Hulk huffs and releases Marvel.
Marvel: Thank you.
Rex: Don't thank us yet. Now we got to save Earth from your people's bomb.
As they leave to go save earth from destruction once again Hulk and Wasp have a little chat.
Wasp: If he does anything suspicious. Smash him.
Much to the Hulks glee as he smiles at that idea.
Meanwhile
As we see a Fire wood convenient, store, and we see rumblings of all the items there as we hear the Giant footsteps as the store, owner, there looks at all his stuff shaking and T.V. Twitching it was clear something was outside as he goes outside and sees a Giant Robot unaware that it was a Kree Sentry Drone on his way to a specific location as a driver was tired and and on the road all night suddenly sees the drone and it is to late to stop as the owner then runs towards him in a brave attempt to save him as he made his way to the car door we see the Sentry looking down at them as the driver was bleeding from the head and the owner of the got him out and looks up and see the Sentry's eyes glow before he hurried to drag him across the road and off the side as they jump down and the sentry destroyed the car.
As the Avengers fly off from the Hospital while Hulk jumps, while Marvel flys with Hank on its shoulder as he wants to make up for his mistakes as they look for the Sentry we see smoke as they notice it before going over the Fire wood convenience store And Hulk jumping ontop it destroying it as the man had a look of disbelief.
Meanwhile at the Kree Sentry location as he continues to beep and we find drive in movie theater as the Avengers and Marvel see it and come up with a plan to stop the drone.
Marvel: We need to be Careful here. The Nega Bomb is armed. We need to--
Hulk roars as he does his smash attack on the drone as it falls forward as Rex smiles sheepishly and laughs as well.
Rex: (Laughs Sheepishly.) Sorry... Hulk really doesn't do Careful. But all and all he's not so bad once you get to know him. I mean look at us we're working with him and we haven't had our arms torn off.
Marvel and Hank look at Rex as he seems to try hard into making sure Hulk wasn't at fault but fails miserably.
Ant-Man: You may have been wrong about Humanity showing promise. Do we have a plan.
Rex: (Quickly.) Yeah let's do that!
Marvel: We need to open it up and expose the Nega Bomb core before it completes charging. That will deactivate it.
Ant-Man: Easier said than done I take it.
Marvel: (Smirks.) I enjoy your 'species' gift for understatement.
As Marvel agreed with Pym all the Avengers flying towards the Sentry as Hulk was being himself as he tried to pry open the top of the head but it grew a tentacle and out came a energy blast as it knocked Hulk down and across all the lights in a row and when Thor came in to attack we see it's hand turn into a Cannon where we see some form of hoop balls then attach itself to Thor as he could not see anything as Marvel, Wasp and Generator Rex fire from the top in a quick straifing run like a Air Force fighters the drone then dig itself into the ground from the chassis and we see more tentacles and it meant more weapons as Wasp attacks as she dodged the first few before one turns into a fan as it blew away wasp to the movie theater preview as we actually see she was exactly the same height as the lady in the poster as the movie title said 'BRIDE OF ULUG!' As we see it's based off of Aliens attacking earth and their only hope was to save earth was offering it one of its beautiful woman to be In marriage and two man that were in love with the same woman needed to save her... for love.
We see Iron Man then fire his weapons at it only to not put a dent in it before the drone fires a spinning object at Tony as he dodges it but it was homing on his Armor and shocked him as Marvel continued his straifing attack as did Rex before he flew high and went into strength mode and came crashing down ontop of the Sentry as Rex tried to pull it off as we go to Marvel and Hank as he prepares to jump.
Ant-Man: This is the part I could do without.
Hank jumps off and grows into a Giant and takes half of the Tentacles while Rex actually was taking the other half.
Rex: ANYTIME NOW!
Giant-Man: Marvel, go!
Marvel blasts a few more times before he transforms his guns into a cannon as Generator then scans them as he had found a new mode for Rex before the Explosion made them fly back. As the smoke clears the Drone wasn't damaged at all as looks at Marvel as he glares back at it and formed a sword as Generator pops out and sees Marvel with a sword and scans him as it piercing the top as we see electricity.
Rex: This isn't working! We need a new plan!
Rex then went back to base mode as he grabs Generator as it almost hit him from the blast before the tentacles wrap around Rex as they have kept him pin as a saw blade grew and was coming in close to Rex before it shot at by Marvel as he saw what it was doing as he used his free hand and blast him out of there and it worked.
Rex yelps as he falls down with Generator as he looks up and Marvel nods as Rex nods back in a thank you before going towards Hank.
Rex: Hank you alright?
Giant Man: I'm fine.
Then Wasp comes in and is firing her stinger's.
Wasp: (Angry.) How's it going with your new BFF?
This was still going on after all that had happened it was clear they need to go to couple counseling or something else but there was a time and place for this. This wasn't one of them.
Giant-Man: You're giving me a hard time now? Marvel is trying to save us, Jan. And he's probably the only one with the knowledge to do it.
Rex: Watch out!
As everyone ducks out of the way from that goop ball Wasp couldn't believe that after all this he could at least show some emotion to their situation rather than be logical and science about everything.
Wasp: Seriously, Hank, you know what? I give up. I try and try with you. But it's never good enough. I just can't be interesting to you as aliens.
Giant-Man: (Stammers.) What? What are you talking about?
As they stay still Hank and Janet were having an argument as the Sentry had missiles behind his back and fired them.
Rex: Listen! We'll go to counseling later! Right now we have to focus on the PLANET from being destroyed! (Noticed Missiles.) JANET WATCH OUT!
As Rex tries to reach for her but it was to far as Hank saw the missiles.
Giant-Man: JAN!
Hank grabbed Janet and covered her up as they hit and detonated which blasted Hank and Wasp back to which Rex became worried for the two.
Rex: Oh god. Hank! Janet! Jan!
He ran and went into base mode and jumped up and climbed Hank as he saw his hand they were seared and bloody as Hank groans in pain but didn't see wasp anywhere as it set fear in his heart that she was dead until Hank's hand moves and we see Janet was ok.
Rex: (Worried.) Jan. Are you hurt?
Wasp: (Coughs.) No... Hank? HANK!
Giant-Man: (Horsely voice.) Go.. Bomb is the only thing that matters. Jan, I-- I love--
It was those words that made Janet weep as she realized that he loved her and she to him and Rex realized that Hank truly loves her and it made him completely upset as he clenched his fists in anger as Rex's Eyes turn light blue as Cosmic energy was literally coming off his body as he roared in anger as he focused all his feelings of emotion, of sadness... jealousy... rage.
As he charged At the Kree sentry as he went into strength mode and his body glowed blue and jumped up and slammed him in the head multiple times yelling as Marvel, Thor, and see him in a form of Rage that almost rivals the Hulk as we see the Sentry dented a few times before it fired its energy beam from its eyes and Rex simply moved forward through the beam even though his body was taking a brutal beating as everyone was shocked to see him push on through like nothing is happening to him.
Thor: Odins Beard... Rex is fighting almost like you Hulk.
Hulk: Hmmm... Is that What I do most of the time?
Iron-Man: Pretty much. I don't know what made him mad but it seemed to work. POUR IT ON!
Iron Man fired his repulsors and Thor fire Mjolnir lightning at him and Marvel fires his cannon as we go back to Hulk as he jumps up and grabs a tentacle holding it in place as Wasp had enough of feeling sorry decided to fight back and fires her stingers.
Rex made his way to the head and blocked its eyes as it exploded and was now blind and Rex jumps off and Marvel, Thor, and Iron Man's attack made a hole in its head as it tried to heal itself before Rex still in his strength mode holds it open.
Rex: WASP! I need you in here!
Wasp immediately getting at what Rex was saying as she immediately dodged most tentacles as she then enters its head when she got inside we see hundreds of wires and nodes as she destroyed everyone of them. On the outside we see it sparking out as Rex was on it still on it and jumps down to see it finally shut down. As Hulk then picks up the Robot drones head and Rex ripped open its chest as we see Wasp was ok and was sitting ontop the Nega Bomb.
Wasp: So, um, I think I'm sitting on the Bomb.
Suddenly a green hologram communication projector came on as we see another Kree of the name Yon-Rogg and he looks around in shock by this outcome.
Yon-Rogg: (Hologram Device.) Mahr Vehl? What are-- (notice the drone.) By Hala.
Marvel: Yon-Rogg... Commander, I implore you. Shut down the Bega Bomb. Humanity can be an ally to the Kree. We need not destroy them.
Yon-Rogg: (Hologram Device.) You've gone soft, Mahr-Vehl. As of now, Earth is part of Kree Empire. That does not require humanity or you to survive. Burn, traitor.
This made Rex mad as he stared Yon-Rogg in anger before looking at the Nega Bomb as Wasp got off it and Marvel tries to disarm it.
Iron-Man: Tell me some good news.
Marvel: I can defuse it in about 10 minutes.
Iron-Man sighs at that as did most of them felt relieved.
Rex: That's good because...
Marvel: it's going to go off in five.
Then everyone then looks at Marvel in a bit of terror except for Hulk.
Iron Man: I know you're not from around here and all, but that was more like bad news.
Wasp: We have to evacuate.
Marvel: The blast radius is the entire planet, Wasp. (Tries to slow the detonation.) Evacuation isn't an option.
Hulk: Hmm, bet I'll survive.
As Thor then gives him a glare for that little dark humor.
Thor: (Sarcastic.) Your compassion is overwhelming, troll.
Rex: Generator is there anything you can do.
Generator: No... but you can.
Rex: Me?
Generator: Yes. I've been monitoring you for some time, remember the Gamma World few weeks ago?
Rex: How could I forget? I was out of control rage monster being controlled by Leader.
Generator: Not quite... (Shows video of Rex helping Thor or Hulk one time or another.) I hacked into the leader's Monitors and noticed you helping them. That and your body has traces of Gamma Radiation.
Rex: Wait... does that mean I turn green too?
Generator: No! What I'm saying is your body absorbs it like a... like a solar panel. You could absorb the Nega Bomb energy.
Rex began to get the picture as he then asked Marvel a question.
Rex: Is it movable?
Marvel: It is but what are you..?
Rex: Good.
Rex then grabs the Nega Bomb shocking Marvel and the Avengers for his stupid action before he went into Flight Mode. Rex then flys up and we see him going into outer space.
Wasp: (Worried.) Rex! (Turns to Marvel in anger.) This is all your fault! Because of you! Hank is hurt and now Generator and Rex are going to die because of you!
As Wasp looks at him in Anger before he looks down as he had a thought in mind.
Marvel: You're right.
Marvel looks up and chases after Rex as he was willing to pay the price for his mistakes rather than Rex would. Wasp tries to stop Him but was out of reach.
Wasp: Marvel? Marvel! No, I didn't mean--
In Space
We see Generator Rex in Flight mode was icing up as he pushes it beyond his limits as then we see Marvel coming up behind him and Rex's flight suit wasn't enough as he fall down before thinking of everyone on earth, his friends, his teammates, his love of his life as they were going to die if he didn't push beyond his limits Earth was in trouble and he was willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice as e had a familiar cosmic glow wrapped around his body, using his cosmic Energy once more to push the suit and himself beyond it as Marvel couldn't catch up to him and started to freeze and before long falls back towards earth. As Iron man came up and caught him as he looks up to see Rex going beyond the moon in his flight suit that he had problems earlier were now gone and Thor looked onto where Rex was. As how he could breathe and survive in space well thanks to his Asgardian physiology he could handle deep space as he looks on in bewilderment of Rex surviving out that far.
Thor: He is to far. Rex is going to--
The Nega Bomb exploded as they cover their faces but suddenly the Nega Bomb receded before being sucked in by something or someone as they see a person in there as it was Rex as he absorbed its explosive energy before Rex could return home he floated adrift unmoving.
Thor immediately flys towards him fearing the worse as he sees his body was still and burned as we see the Nega Bomb done its work as Thor looks on in horror before Rex lifted his hand and curled his fingers before sticking his thumb out as he was still alive much to Thor amazement he smirks as he carried Generator Rex back home in his arms like a baby.
The Hospital
We see Carol still knocked out cold and in a Coma as Wasp was there but comforted Hank as his hands were wrapped up in bandages.
We see the Avengers and Marvel was there watching Hank and Wasp hoping their friend would be ok.
???: Is he ok?
Then we see Rex now in a medical patient clothes and has a leg crutches and is in a leg cast and arm cast and had a severe case of bad burns on his face and body as medical wraps were around the body and head but they look to be minor burns and he is healing quick.
Iron-Man: Shouldn't you be resting?
Generator: That's what I said.
Rex: Thanks, but staying in hospital makes me restless.
Iron-Man: Normal people would rather stay in the hospital to... you know? Get better?
Rex: I'm not like most people.
Iron-Man: You can say that again.
Hulk: Though it was funny seeing Thor carry you like a baby.
As most of the Avengers except for Rex and Generator look at them unamused.
Rex: Not funny.
Generator: We just got hit with a Planetary Bomb and barely managed to survive. We didn't need to be saved.
Thor: (Amused.) Aye, whatever you say Generator Rex.
Iron-Man: (Amused.) Uh-huh.
Hulk: (Amused.) Wimp.
As the three gave the two a hard time as they were glad he was ok as Marvel was curious about how Generator Rex survived that. Anyone in the vicinity of the Nega Bomb vaporized yet here he was alive and had a few scars that were healing to prove it. The Genetic anomaly runs deeper then he ever imagined. Generator Rex is a key figure in this but he had other problems to deal with.
Iron-Man: Okay, thanks to Rex, World saved. Mission accomplished.
Marvel: No, the Kree will be back. And they won't underestimate you Avengers again.
This didn't bold well to the avengers as they now have a potential new threat arising.
Rex: Now what?
Marvel: Now I go to the Supreme Intelligence, our leader. I make an appeal for Earth's survival. You should prepare for the storm that's coming.
Marvel then goes in and apologizes for everything that has happened to Carol and to Hank and everyone else on the planet.
Marvel: I am truly sorry, Wasp. (Looks at Hank and Carol.) Watch over them.
Wasp: Mahr Vehl...
Marvel expected Wasp to give him a hard time but she just didn't have enough anger in her to hold grudges for him.
Wasp: Thank you.
Marvel then smiles as he then teleports out of the Hospital and back to his homeworld Hala.
Few Hours later
We see the Avengers left and Wasp was still at Hanks side as she never left him asleep until footsteps are heard and we see Rex and Generator as they give Janet a blanket to which she wakes up to.
Rex: Hey.
Wasp: Hey. Shouldn't you be resting?
Rex: I can't sleep. I've been worried about Hank and Carol.
As Rex stands up leaning on his crutches as there wasn't a seat anywhere to found in the room. While Generator simply floats.

Rex could feel his heart breaking for her as he really loved her too. But if anything it taught him to let go. Facing death, he truly loved her from the bottom of his heart. In establishing that all he ever wanted was for Janet to be truly happy... even if was with another man and not him.
Rex: Jan, Hank's the greatest man I have ever known. I suggest you watch out for him he's one of the good ones... just don't let him be the one to get away.
Rex smiles at that but something in his eyes made Janet realize that he seemed sad but she just accepted Rex's words advice and smiles.
Wasp: You know... Carols single.
Rex: Really? I guess when she wakes up I'm going to take her out to dinner one of these days.
As Rex downplay that he got friend zoned but actually acts interested to see Carol up and about.

The two smile as Hank was out of his coma.

As Wasp gave him a hug Rex simply smiles, Janet embraces Hank as he let out some pain as Rex continues to be happy that his friend is finally back and is ok.

As Rex, Generator, awaits his answer as did Janet so readily as Hank was confused by what they meant.
Hank: What?
He then remembered what he was about to say as he tries to talk and explain what he meant.

As Rex just rolled his eyes and facepalmed himself at how for being the smartest guy in the room he doesn't even realize how lucky he was, as Janet hope of hearing what he said diminished into a look of disbelief but there was another surprise in the room as well.

As the four look we see Carol glowing in yellow energy and was really close to the ceiling as she was floating.
Carol: Why is the ceiling so low?
Generator: Um... that's new.
