With Isshin

"That took quite a while, and I need to eat. I'm exhausted," he admitted, his body weary from hours of meditation.

As for the remainder of the evening, Isshin adhered to his usual routine. He engaged in some self-study, exchanged conversations with his family, had dinner, and eventually retired for the night. It had been an exceptionally productive day, given the recent developments.

Next Morning

"Wake up, Isshin, it's time to go," he heard his stepmother's gentle voice, rousing him from sleep. He recalled his father's earlier announcement during dinner that they would be departing early in the morning.

Isshin assisted with the luggage, helping load the five or six bags into the car. They owned a private jet, so space was not an issue.

"Remember your promise, son," Jinpachi reminded him, and Isshin nodded in response. "Have a wonderful vacation, everyone!" he called out as they distanced themselves from the house, then went back inside.

"Now it's time to learn about my Zanpakuto," Isshin muttered to himself as he ascended the stairs to his room. He searched for a book related to Zanpakuto, hoping to quickly grasp its fundamentals.

"I found it," he declared upon reaching the top of the bookshelf. He retrieved ten books, each part of a series numbered in Roman numerals from I to X, all focusing on Zanpakuto.

Over the next few hours, he delved into the pages, absorbing information about the history of Zanpakuto, its creator, and its past. While initially boring, he gradually developed an interest, especially when learning about the immense strength of the current Shinigami commander.

"My mother was incredibly knowledgeable, condensing a millennium's worth of wisdom into just over a decade," Isshin marveled, deeply impressed by his mother's extraordinary achievements.

However, his concentration was suddenly shattered by the ringing of the doorbell. Irritated at being interrupted during his study session, he muttered a curse under his breath and reluctantly left his books behind to investigate the disturbance.

"Is this the Ashina residence?" a young woman in her mid-twenties inquired when Isshin opened the door. She had an average height, blonde hair, and captivating eyes. Irritated as he was, Isshin replied with a bored "yeah."

"You must be Isshin, Jinpachi's son, correct?" she asked, her tone devoid of malice. Isshin nodded in acknowledgment. It suddenly struck him that this visit might have something to do with what his father had mentioned during dinner.

"So, you're Park, the friend from Korea—former supermodel, once an adult actress, and notorious gambler, right?" Isshin tried to confirm her identity, repeating the description his father had provided.

Without taking offense, Park nodded and replied, "No doubt you're his son. Anyway, may we come in?" She politely requested entry.

Isshin opened the door wider, noting that two more people stood behind Park.

"And who are they?" Isshin inquired, gesturing for them to enter.

"My daughters. Meet Yuuhee and Yu-hee," Park introduced them.

Both of her daughters appeared shy, and an atmosphere of anxiousness hung around them. Isshin noticed their reticence, finding it endearing as they followed their mother like small ducklings trailing a mother duck.

"How old are Yuuhee and Yu-hee? And by your name, I assume you are twins, right?" Isshin queried, trying to engage them in conversation.

However, the girls remained silent, continuing to follow their mother like quiet introverts. Park, with a dry laugh, assured Isshin, "Don't mind them, Isshin. They're quite introverted." She then led them to the guest room.
