"Oh man, my throat hurts from all that yelling today." Mina groaned slumped down on Uraraka bed.

"Yeah well no one told you to yell." She giggled. "I'd hate to see you as a real supervisor."

"You know you'd love me." Mina grinned back but when they heard a faint knock on the door, turning their heads to see Uraraka's mom peek her head in.

"Ochaco, there's someone here to see you."

"Really?" Curiously getting up both girls followed her mom down the stairs being greeted with both Todoroki and…

"Fuyumi!" Mina squealed excitingly right before both women embraced. "It's been so long!"

"You know each other?" Todoroki asked dumbfounded.

"What can I say, I'm a people person." Mina waved him off.

Smiling Fuyumi turned her attention to the quiet girl walking down the last steps. "Hey you must be Uraraka. I'm Shotos sister."

"Oh hi." She smiled.

"Shoto's told me so much about you."

"H-he has?" Raising her brows in surprise, she looked over Fuyumi's shoulder at a gawking and now flustered Todoroki, who grabbed his sister by the arm giving her a death glare.

"I-I mean he's told me how pretty…no- what a great classmate you are…?" she sheepishly laughed looking over at her horrified little brother hoping for the best but knew she would get an earful later.

"Well, it's nice to meet you." Uraraka smiled when she received a hug from her as well.

"It's nice to meet to meet you too. You must be wondering why we're here." Fuyumi smiled looking over her shoulder, discreetly darting her eyes towards Uraraka until Todoroki understood what she meant.

"Oh yes. I was wondering… if you had time to talk and if that was alright with you as well, Mrs. Uraraka. We didn't mean to intrude. And would be more than happy to come back another time."

"Oh, to talk…" Mina whispered along with a nodding Fuyumi.

Smiling at the politeness, Mrs. Uraraka and Aunt Yui both exchanged a smile. "Of course, if it's alright with Ochaco I see no problem. And I must say, you must have some wonderful parents to have raised someone as polite as you. I'll just go make some tea while we girl's chat."

As soon as Mrs. Uraraka and Aunt Yui left for the kitchen everyone exchanged knowing looks with the Todoroki siblings.

"Come on." Uraraka motioned for him to follow her up the stairs.

"I'm sorry we didn't mean to come unannounced, but Fuyumi insisted on me coming and her tagging along… apparently." Todoroki said awkwardly standing in the middle of her room.

"It's fine Todoroki, you've been in my room at UA before." She smiled watching him take an awkward seat next to her. "So, what's up? Isn't this somewhat of a long drive here?"

"It is. I'm actually on way to see my brother after this."

Nodding she started fidgeting with her pillow. "How are you feeling? I know last I checked you were still out."

"Been better." He frowned staring straight ahead. "I was going to wait until we got back to school. But according to Fuyumi and Natsuo- my older brother." He clarified, turning to look at her. "They said they were tired of my 'moping' around and said I needed to get this off my 'emotionally constipated chest' in their own words." Hearing Uraraka laugh made his cheeks warm.

After wiping a small tear from her eyes, she met his dual-colored eyes who were staring at her until he cleared his throat. "Once I woke up after the match, I came to check on you but couldn't find you. And the next day before leaving I tried to talk to you, but you had already left and that's when I ran into Yaoyorozu."

"Oh." Remembering her conversation with her friend, she suddenly started fidgeting in her seat knowing she had a question of her own. "Todoroki…"

"Hmm?"

"What was that?"

Giving her a small smile, he felt his cheeks warm once again. "I believe they call that a kiss."

"No-" unable to keep from laughing at his honest answer she quickly saw his smile fade. "I mean I know what a kiss is. But…I just want to know, why did you do it?"

"Oh." Understanding what she was asking he took a deep breath hoping to get through this conversation. "Before I say what I want to say and why I came here, I need to know something. But in order for me to know… I have to ask you for a favor."

"Huh?"

"Remember when you said if there was anything I need from you that you would help?"

"Yeah…"

"Well would it be alright… if I kissed you…again?"

"Todoroki-" Opening her mouth to decline, she saw the pleading and sad look on his face. Would he have come all this way just for something like that when he could've waited until they were back in school if it wasn't important? And what about…

Closing her eyes, she felt the familiar sting in her heart. 'What should I do? I can't keep thinking about Bakugo when he basically already wiped me from his mind and made it clear he wants nothing to do with me. And Todoroki's my friend if he's suffering and struggling with something I want to help…'

"I'll tell you why afterwards I promise." He quickly added turning his body and scooting closer to her. "Please I wouldn't ask if I didn't have a reason. And you know this is not something I would normally just ask."

Slowly nodding her head, she reluctantly agreed, watching him relax until he slowly placed his hand on her neck pulling her closer and pressing his lips to hers.

As his lips slowly caressed hers, she felt a slight chill on his lips making her squeal in surprise allowing him to deepen the kiss with his tongue in a warm and gentle way. Which she thought was so him.

It was nice but she still felt like there was something missing. Desperately not wanting to give it anymore thought, feeling the tears threatening to come, she slowly snapped them shut feeling Todoroki pulling her closer when she hesitantly lifted her hands running it through his silky straight hair.

When she felt him kiss her more passionately with a sudden lust, pressing his body even closer to hers allowing her to feel every muscle on his body, but snapped her eyes open the minute he moaned into her mouth. Placing her hands on his shoulders he slowly pulled back with an equally bewildered look as she placed her fingers to her mouth feeling a rush of cold air leave her lips. Looking up at his flustered face she gave a small giggle.

"I'm sorry." He said sitting back up to give her some space. "I shouldn't have-"

Waving him off, she continued to smile reassuringly knowing how he must feel since his face was redder than she'd ever seen it. "Don't worry about it."

Averting his eyes, he hesitantly opened his mouth repeatedly, seeming unsure how to start in this type of situation.

"Did that help?" she softly asked, seeing the conflicting look in his eyes. She wasn't sure what exactly was going through his mind at the moment but hoped that in some way she was able to help.

"It did." Frowning he slowly nodded his head. "How was it?"

"The kiss?" she asked, seeing him watch her intently. "Oh, well it was really great. But I'm sure you know that already…"

"Um…actually…" Taking a deep breath he turned half his body to face her again. "That was my 3rd kiss…"

Now confused she blinked a few times, shaking her head. "Wait. Really? I figured you've had plenty of practice- no offense." she quickly added but was relieved to see a small smile appear on his lips.

"No. I've only kissed two girls."

"Ok well, then your first kiss was with Momo!" She smiled but just as quickly as it appeared it faded once he shook his head.

"How do you know that she kissed me?"

"Um…lucky guess…?" she sheepishly rubbed the back of her head hoping he'd buy that. But when he raised a skeptical brow.

"Yaoyorozu did kiss me after explaining that she's liked me for some time."

"And?" she couldn't help the excitement in her voice.

"Yaoyorozu's great and a really good classmate. Anyone would be lucky to be with her. But I just don't see it more than that. And if I'm not mistaken…I feel like she thinks so too."

"Really?" she groaned slouching her shoulders.

"Yeah." He stared at her for a minute with a hint of amusement in his eyes. "I mean, I know you were trying to get us together before, so I didn't want to upset you."

Gaping at him she couldn't believe it. After all her planning both Todoroki and Yaoyorozu were just worried about her, letting her think she was helping them the whole time when in reality they weren't thinking to date each other at the moment. "Ok wait, so you're first kiss still has to be Momo!" Still shaking his head, she stubbornly lifted her fingers to count out. "Yeah, there was Momo and..." Widening her eyes, she felt her cheeks warm. "Todoroki…was your first kiss with me?"

"During the sports festival…yeah you were, and my first kiss kiss."

Slapping her hands on her cheeks she franticly started looking around her room. "Oh no I'm so so sorry! I stole it!"

"Uraraka." Placing his hand on her shoulder to try and calm her down, he gave her a warm smile. "It's ok, I chose to give it to you. It was my decision, and I don't regret it."

At this point she didn't know whether to be flattered or worried. Wasn't this supposed to be her break from school and everything?

"W-why?"

"In truth it was partially to try and figure out something. Something that has been growing more once I came back from the mission after spending so much time together. I tried to ignore it but once someone mentioned it to me…it got me to thinking." Trying to calm his now racing heart he saw Uraraka try to follow along with what he was saying and hoping she would eventually understand.

"The kiss just now and before, I really liked it Uraraka. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I really like you… a lot." Pressing his lips together he continued to try and get through this. "And this whole thing is really unfamiliar to me. Being raised the way I have… I've never had time to do anything other than train to surpass All Might." Seeing all the memories building on his face, she could also see the sadness that still remained as well.

"Todoroki..."

"There's something about you that always warms me. And after this kiss just now, I know for a fact how I feel about you…and it's strong but…I also realized that I don't need anymore than that." He smiled, placing his hand on top of hers. "I rather be friends with you because I'm not ready for anything like this nor do I know if I'll ever be. At least not right now."

Understanding where he came from since he was basically deprived of his childhood growing up and all the horrible things he must've seen. It would make sense that when it came to relationships in general it was still something new to him. And with Todoroki just now learning to make friends during their first year of school, it became clear that for someone in his situation it was normal to still be behind when it came to intimacy and closeness that you only get from being with someone.

And to be honest she was happy to know something good came out of all this. Because at least she was able to give him more perspective on his life. And was glad to know they would still be friends since that's all she wanted from him. But why did she still feel like everyone was friend zoning her?

As the thought crossed her mind she suddenly started feeling deflated, she started wondering what it was about her that everyone felt the need to reject. Getting her confidence repeatedly hit lately didn't help matters in the least making her suddenly crave a giant bucket of ice cream.

She should feel flattered being Shoto Todorokis first crush, and maybe in another life there could be something there, but there wasn't. And with everything that's happened, as well as two of the hottest guys in school just wanting to be friends with her four days apart made her face crumple.

"I'm sorry if I was being selfish. I should've put your feelings first and explained!" Todoroki sat up straighter feeling the panic rise by the expression on her face.

"No, it's not you I promise." She forced a small smile. "I've just been feeling kinda down lately I guess."

"Anything I can do?"

Shaking her head, she leaned her head onto his shoulder while he stiffly remained seated staring at the ceiling. "You ready to head back down?"

"Umm, I can't…"

"Why?" Lifting her head, she gave him a puzzling look which made his cheek flush before he averted his gaze once more.

"Oh..." she said, feeling her own cheeks flush awkwardly giving him some space in the process.

"Can I ask you something?" he said after a while.

"Mhm."

"I know you might not feel the same way as I do. Which is fine since I already explained that that's not exactly what I want right now either. But…is there something going with you and Bakugo? I know I asked before, but he seemed really protective over you."

"I thought there was…but it's not anymore." she quietly said.

"Because of me?" he furrowed his brows. "Is that why he's been angrier than usual?"

"No, it's fine Todoroki you didn't know." Exhaling loudly, she started playing with her fingerpads. "He made it clear he doesn't like me like that anymore…"

"Just like that?" Feeling his anger build Todoroki shook his head. "Well then, he's a damn fool."

Pouting her lips, she leaned her head back on his shoulder. "You're sweet. Thanks Todoroki."

Nodding Todoroki mentally reminded himself to have a little chat with a certain explosive boy, after all… this was his fault even if he didn't know it at the time.

X

The next few days went by thankfully uneventful, much to Urarakas surprise not that she minded in the least. She tried to enjoy her time off as much as possible even if it was just for a few days since once they would come back to UA it was time to apply for their last work studies.

After Todoroki and Fuyumi left her house, she filled Mina in on what happened with the pink girl hanging on to every detail like it was the air she needed to breathe. She had spent the rest of her time with her mom and aunt Yui unless her mom was working. Otherwise, she would spend the day playing with Hotaru and keep as far away as she could from Bakugo. If she had to go into the worksite, she would make sure to avoid him at all costs and could see that he didn't even seem bothered by it from what she could tell since he would just continue to work.

Once it was time to head back to UA, she found herself getting dressed for school deciding to keep her hair down, letting her eyes bounce between her black tights or socks. Finally opting for her regular tights, she decided to save the socks for a hotter day maybe. Putting the socks away her gaze automatically landed on the black jean jacket on top of her desk. She was originally going to return it but couldn't find it in her to do so. Exhaling loudly, she placed it in her closet letting her fingers lightly brush against the fabric.

Upon entering the classroom with Iida, she saw most of the class was already there as she continued to listen to him talking about possibly making some enhancements to his hero suit.

"Well, I think it's a great idea! I mean if it'll help you with your speed." She offered already thinking if maybe her costume needed some changes as well. Sitting down she started taking her books out of her pink backpack sneaking glance towards the front of the classroom only to find Bakugos back facing her as he sat facing the front with his feet plopped up on his desk and hands in his pockets. But unlike usual he was rather quiet with an unreadable expression on his face.

"Alright everyone take your seats since I want to make this quick." Mr. Aizawa yawned while entering the classroom. "You all already know that at this point after the sports festival, each of you will be given the choice of working with some of the greatest pros out there for your work studies." Mr. Aizawa paused, seeing the determined and excited look on each of their faces. "Now that being said, I know that each of you already have an agency in mind or have already been offered a position there. However, in the event that you're not sure I have a list of some heroes who've shown interest in each of you. Make no mistake that at this point most -if not all of them -are already familiar with you since you've already been in battle. So, I shouldn't have to tell you guys to take this seriously. These may be the same agencies you will be joining after graduation after all."

At the mention of his last words Uraraka suddenly felt nervous at the thought of what would happen after graduation, and how each of them would go their own way and by the looks of it she could tell she wasn't the only one thinking that by seeing all the serious faces in the room along with a now muttering Deku.

'Maybe some thinks might not change.' She thought smiling.

"So instead of turning these in by the end of the week you'll have until Monday since this is a rather important decisions to make since this could impact the first few years of your hero careers."

Once lunch rolled around, she found herself looking over the various offers she had received.

"Wow Ochaco, that's a lot." Tsu said looking at the piece of paper and sitting next to her.

"Yeah, I know. I'm surprised too." she admitted.

"You shouldn't be. You're a great hero and a lot of pros know that too."

Smiling at her friend sitting in front of her, she was grateful to hear that. "Thanks Deku."

"Why is Hawk's name on there four times?" Todoroki asked sitting his tray down next to her.

"Good question." She mused and instantly felt her phone vibrate. "Speaking of…"

Hawks: You get my offer baby bird?

Uraraka: Yeah, why's your name on their four times?

Hawks: Wanted to make sure you saw it and keep certain other people's names off. 😏 😈

"Huh?"

Hearing Todoroki snorting while chewing his food she tilted her head until he pointed at Endeavors name on the paper.

"Wow you've even got an offer from Endeavor." Tsu smiled. "Are you going to take it? Ribbit."

Rubbing her neck Uraraka looked over at Deku who was already giving her puppy dog eyes. "I'm not sure yet to be honest."

"But wouldn't someone like thirteen benefit you better since you were aiming to become a rescue hero? Has that changed?" Iida asked curiously.

"No that's still true, but I also want to be versatile both in recuse as well as combat. I want to be in the front lines."

"That's understandable, and don't worry there's no pressure. But it would be great to work together, right Todoroki?" Deku grinned seeing the stoic boy nod.

"He did ask to speak to me this coming weekend. Not sure about what though." Todoroki said with a small frown until they heard a loud screech headed their way in the form of a floating uniform.

"Eh Hagakure?"

Plopping her tray down next to a startled Deku, she frantically waved her paper in front of her face. "Look I got an offer from Hawks! Maybe we'll work together!"

"Really?" Uraraka smiled. "That's so great I'm happy to hear that, Hagakure!"

"Have you decided yet?!"

"Um…not yet."

"She also got one from Endeavor." Deku said with a playful smile. "Maybe she'll take it."

"Oh really?" Hagakure said, folding her arms. "In case you're wondering, I'm glaring at you Midoriya."

"T-that sounds less threatening that it really is." He sheepishly grinned instead focusing on his food.

"Well, we'll just see about that." Hagakure nudged him. "Two X-'s before other sexes."

"Sisters before misters?" Uraraka offered.

"Chicks before dicks." Tsu grinned hearing both Deku and Todoroki choking on their food.

"Nice one Tsu!" Hagakure laughed while Uraraka covered her mouth doing the same, feeling all eyes in the cafeteria turn in their direction as the boys continued to cough. "I think we've been a bad influence on her…"

"I think we get it!" Deku managed to croak out while Todoroki reached for his drink.

X

"Oh, come on! It will be so much fun!" Hagakure said walking next to Uraraka down the hall after school was done for the day. "Are you still thinking about joining Endeavor?"

"Don't know. I even got an offer from Mirko and Ryukyu."

"I got Ryukyu too, but I'm leaning more towards Hawks since he has more experience in infiltration and such, plus he is a hottie!"

"That shouldn't be the only reason." Uraraka giggled passing the Bakusquad down the hall who were going in the opposite direction.

"Yo!" Sero grinned.

"Ladies!" Kaminari winked as they walked on.

Giving them her usual smile she saw Bakugo look indifferent, keeping his eyes on her as she quickly averted hers and turned her head the other way.

"My hotties!" Mina grinned quickly giving Kirishima a goodbye kiss before joining the two girls."So did you get my message?"

"I did. And no." Uraraka said, opening her locker.

"Why not? It's just for a few minutes." Mina whined dramatically leaning on Urarakas shoulder. She was going to meet the band for practice and asked some of the girls to join. "How about you Hagakure?"

"I'll go."

"Great!" she smiled before giving Uraraka one last pleading look. "Come on I'm sure B-the others won't mind you being there." She quickly added.

Giving Mina a meaningful look Uraraka pursed her lips hoping she would understand. "It's not that. I will eventually…watch them. But I have other things to do right now like finishing up in the classroom."

"Do you need any help?"

"No, it's fine, I have to go see Ms. Yano after this anyways."

"Alright. We'll see you back at the dorms." Mina pouted, giving her a quick hug before they ran off.

Closing her eyes Uraraka took a deep breath letting her eyes drift over to where Hagakure and Mina ran off to.

X

"Alright! I can't wait! I feel like I've been getting a little rusty."

"A little?" Bakugo scoffed earning a pout from Kaminari.

"Don't worry I believe we're all a little rusty after not playing for a few months." Tokoyami said.

Briskly walking in Mina grinned before sitting down next to Kirishima and Hagakure. "Did I miss anything?"

"No, you just made it." Kirishima said.

"I love watching them rehearse." Hagakure said. "Wait are those black drumsticks? That's different."

"Yeah." Bakugo grinned down at the pair in his hands.

Snapping her head in Bakugos direction Mina gave a wicked grin at the explosive boy who was busy twirling his drum stick around. "My my Bakugo those are some fancy drumsticks you've got there."

"Tch, what's it to you." He raised an eyebrow keeping a watchful eye on her as she shrugged.

"Alright are we ready."

"All good here Jirou." Kaminari said.

Nodding she looked over her shoulder. "Ready when you are dude. Let's try that last one."

"Right." Bakugo scowled flexing his hands before starting the song.

("Never Leave" by Seether)

"Will I fall again into dismay?
Will I be ashamed, of cryin'?
And I know it's never been the way that I described.
But I am afraid, of tryin'.

She's the one who keeps me all excited.
She keeps me beggin' for more.
She's the one who deems me uninvited.
Now it's over.

Never leave me, and don't deceive me.
I'll keep on crawlin' my friend.
Never tease me, and don't leave me here.
It's all the same in the end.

Now I find that I am weaker fare.
That I am ashamed, of lyin'.
And I know things never feel the way that's right inside.
And I am afraid, of dyin'.

'Cause you're the one who keeps me all excited.
You keep me beggin' for more.
You're the one who keeps me uninvited.
Now it's over.

Never leave me, and don't deceive me.
I'll keep on crawlin' my friend.
Never tease me, and don't leave me here.
It's all the same in the end.
Never leave me, and don't deceive me.
I'll keep on crawlin' my friend.

It's only a symbol.
You've got me fallin' away.
And I am afraid.
Take back what I said.

Never leave me, and don't deceive me.
I'll keep on crawlin' my friend.
Never tease me, and don't leave me here.
It's all the same in the end."

Frowning at something that caught her eye, Mina quickly tapped Kirishima's knee telling him she'd be right back.

"Never leave me, and don't deceive me.
I'll keep on crawlin' my friend.
Never tease me, and don't leave me here
It's all the same in the end
It's all the same in the end
It's all the same in the end
It's all the same in the end
It's only a symbol."

'Ochaco…' Mina quietly whispered watching from the hall as her friend quickly disappeared from view down the hall.

"Woah." Kirishima quietly saw Bakugo clench his jaw after the song had finished before looking down, letting his bang hide his face. He was pretty sure the only ones that noticed his bros somber look were Kaminari and himself.

"Alright. Let's take five and start on another." Jirou said walking over to Yaoyorozu.

"Yo Kacchan, that was great." Kaminari grinned.

"Tch."

"Yeah." Mina absently said sitting back down next to Kirishima, her eyes still glued to the drumsticks in his hands.

"Hey where did you run off to?" Kaminari asked.

"Just…had to do something."

Discreetly watching her, Bakugo looked back down at his hands lightly rubbing his thumb against the wooden sticks.
