Robin, Cyborg, and Starfire sat in the kitchen. Dinner had come and gone, with leftovers stored away for the two missing titans. Robin and Cyborg started to feel restless, jumping at any slight sound. Raven and Beast Boy had been on the roof for over three hours. A nervous weight was settling in the Boy Wonder's guts. Raven was angry when he left, more furious at the two other men than Beast Boy, which didn't make sense. Finally, after the painful waiting, the doors to the common room opened to reveal a disheveled Raven. His leotard was torn up a little, and his face was bright red.
"holy hell, Raven, what happened to you?" Cyborg burst out.
"ya, Raven, you look like you just lost a fight," Robin said as he moved to stand. The broad grin hidden under Raven's hood was revealed as he walked over to the couch.
"oh, no, I'm more than fine. I just had to teach Beast Boy a lesson in equality," Raven said, his grin glued to his face.
"Okay, where is the grass stain?" Cyborg asked, sweating a little. That grin was unsettling on the usually neutral face. Robin stood silently, observing Raven.
"They will be down in a moment. They were having trouble walking down the stairs," Raven said casually as he floated over the couch and took up his spot with a book.
"did you two at least makeup?" Robin asked in his leader's voice.
"Did we ever," Raven's grin grew to that of a Cheshire cat's.
Something was wrong. Robin knew it but couldn't put his finger on it. Raven was too happy and calm. His clothes showed what looked like the aftermath of a fight, and he was still hiding under his hood.
"Raven, did you two fight?" Robin asked, now sweating alongside Cyborg.
"ya, please tell me I don't have to go clean a green stain off the roof?" Cyborg said with a bit of panic in his voice.
"Well..." Raven started but was interrupted by an even more shocking sight for the other two. Beast Boy shuffles through the door, obviously female, with the rips in their suit showing off the changes. What caused the most uproar was the prominent baby bulge in their stomach still covered in cloth.
"w-w-what the FUCK!" Cyborg screamed and promptly fainted on the spot, his mechanical body the only thing keeping him standing as it locked up.
Robin, for his part, just seemed to shut down and stutter uselessly.
"Dudes, can I get a hand? My back is killing me," Beast Boy said to the now stunned members of the Titans in a now high-pitched voice. They were fighting with all their might, keeping the laughter suppressed. Raven also was struggling to not roll on the floor in mirth.
"Sure honey, let me help you," Raven said, letting his hood fall down to show the many love bites Beast Boy left on his neck. Beast Boy shot Raven a half-hearted glare as he floated up to him.
Raven wrapped an arm under the Beast Boys' and led them to the couch. The whole time, Robin and Cyborg were going through a reboot process. Finally, Beast Boy sat down with a wince and shot Raven an actual glare that only got a chuckle and a wink in response. This went unnoticed by the other two as it had passed by the time they had turned to look at them, and they were longing on the couch next to each other.
"Raven, what did you do?!" Robin was full-blow, panicking as he ran over to Beast Boy.
"Rea, you went too far!" Cyborg yelled as he tried to get his body to move.
"calm down. It's not like it's permanent." Raven explained lazily, flipping the page of his book.
"you got Beast Boy pregnant!" Robin screamed
"I'm half demon. It's to be expected, what of it," Raven said, closing his book and looking at Robin.
"I'm right here, you know," Beast Boy said, trying to sit up and leveled a glare at everyone in the room, but Raven could feel the joy and humor washing off him in waves.
"Beast Boy, how could you let this Happen?" Robin asked, looking like he was deflating.
"Green Bean, are you okay with this?" Cyborg asked as he finally got his legs to respond enough to walk over to the couch.
"It can be helped now," Beast Boy said with a shrug.
"I think you two owe Beast Boy an apology for yelling at him," Raven said, protecting the fake pregnant Beast Boy into his lap.
"Why did he deserve what we did? You're the one who went too far," Robin said, pointing a finger at Raven.
"Rob, I think he is right. We overreacted. We were all freaking out, and now, since we didn't deal with it, this happened," Cyborg said as he moved to sit on the other side of the couch.
"What are you talking about? How is this our fault?" Robin said quietly.
"We went off the handle and pissed them off when it would all work out. Obviously, they were both just upset at the situation, and blood was running hot." Cyborg pointed out.
"damn it, you're right," Robin muttered, sitting hard on the couch.
"so you both see you were being asses and now we're all going to be more level-headed about all this?" Raven said, letting Beast Boy go.
"Yes, Raven, I think I spoke for both of us. We are sorry, but I'm still confused. Why does Beast Boy look like he is four months along already?" Cyborg said while crossing one leg over the other and reclining.
"two reasons for that first are his genetic instability, and my demonic genes are making the baby grow very fast," Raven said as if giving a classroom lecture.
"Okay, that is messed up but understandable. What the second?" Robin asked after taking a deep breath.
Both Raven and Beast Boy smirked. Suddenly, the other two had the feeling of impending doom. Beast Boy's belly shrunk back to its natural shape, and his gender revered back as well. he gently laid back on Raven with his customary grin. Raven started to chuckle at the faces of pure confusion before him.
"Well, now looks like I'm the best" Beast Boy boosted
"Hey, this was my plan," Raven said between bouts of laughter.
"ya, but it only worked because of me!" Beast Boy said before devolving into giggles as Raven leaned over him with a cocked eyebrow.
"do you want me to throw you out on your ass?" Raven said in a playful voice.
"Dude, you already did enough damage back there!" Beast Boy yelped out. That was the tipping point for Robin and Cyborg, who jumped up, slammed their hands over their ears, yelled nonsense, and fled the room.
"so, think they will try to get us back for this?" Beast Boy asked as he reached for the remote, and Raven returned to his book.
"I don't know, to be honest? We may have scared them for life with this." Raven said with a soft smile on his face.
"I was not kidding with the last part," the beast boy said, his face red. Raven, for his part, had the decency to look abashed and leaned over and kissed Beast Boy on the cheek.
