Whoo-hoo! Hello, it's so splendid to hear from you again! Welcome to another story with me, my friends, and our best friends, the Smurfs. And there's still no other changes at Sodor.

Now, about the story. Indeed, traveling to a new country can be quite fun, either on a holiday or for some other reason. Well, me, my friends, and the Smurfs went to a country for a simple reason, to get away from something that really annoys us. And indeed, it'll take place at the country that we're going and in a different continent.

It was a very boring day at the Island of Sodor, and it's because it's raining. And it's going to rain all day. At Tidmouth Sheds, me, my friends, and our best friends the Smurfs, were getting sick and tired of it.

/James\: "And we should bring Latino, he would be interested in things that is Spanish related."

The next day, we got on a boat that'll take us to the country of Chile. Everyone was excited, especially Latino.

/Latino\: "Que smurfy, I can't believe it's my primera vez to travel in the tiempo presente, and to the continent of Sudamérica in this time period, and of course el país de Chile!"

/Thomas\: "Indeed Latino."

/James\: "And we can see that you're really excited about it."

/Latino\: "Si, I really am!"

/Percy\: "Oh it's so "smurfy" to puff away from boring rainy Sodor."

/Emily\: "I peep to that."

/Smurfette\: "Ahh, just smurf that smurfy breeze from the ocean."

/Harmony\: "Smurfy thing that we didn't smurf Brainy to smurf with us."

/Jokey\: "Hee-hee-yeah, we know he will get seasick, hyuk-hyuk-hyuk-hee-hee-hee."

During our journey, we encounter no problems so far. And we found out the fact that to get to Chile, we need to go through Central America, at the famous Panama Canal. It took 20 days, and at last, we need it to the country of Chile, well we're about to arrive that is.

/The Engines\: "Ooh!"

/The Smurfs\: "Aah!"

/Thomas\: "Excuse me, you sailor."

/The sailor\: "Yes?"

/Thomas\: "That is Chile, right?"

/The sailor\: "It certainly is."

/James\: "And what city is that?"

/The sailor\: "That is the city and seaport of Valparaíso."

/Percy\: "Ooh, lovely."

/Emily\: "And the harbor looks very busy today."

/The sailor\: "It is indeed, very busy for ships to carry cargo from faraway places, and for people to go on their boats to catch some fish."

/Thomas\: "/Crossly\ Ugch, fish, and I hate the smell of it!"

/The sailor\: "Well I hate to disappoint you; you will get a big whiff of fish upon arriving and disembarking."

/Thomas\: "Oh bother!"

/Thomas (Narrating)\:
After disembarking from the boat and touching the country's ground, the Smurfs had change forms, to their South American forms, Chilean style.

/Smurfette\: "Ooh, these clothes are very smurfy and stylish."

/Emily\: "And indeed it looks very "smurfy" on you, Smurfette."

/Latino\: "Pero mira, I still have my poncho."

/Dreamy\: "And some of us have some ponchos too."

/James\: "And some of you do look really splendid."

/Thomas\: "Now can we get out of here; the smell of fish is getting…"

And so, me, my friends, and the Smurfs went on chatting with our new Chilean friends all day until the evening, and indeed we went to sleep after that. And indeed, we can't wait to celebrate the country's independence day, and what adventures that await us around that time as well.
