Chapter 12-The end of peace

2 months later

5 months until the dropship falls

Jake's P.O.V

Jake walks out of his house with a grin. He looks around the Skaikru village. There were now twelve houses, an infirmary, a workshop for Raven, a store house for food, a training ring and a shed for weapons and a stable for the horses. He looks at Octavia as she walks up to him. "What is on the agenda today?" Jake asks.

"Well, Lincoln has taken a hunting party out. Emori, and Otan went to Tondc to get more metal, and Raven is working in her workshop. You and I get to do inventory on everything we have and what we need, Indra is bringing some more people here in a couple of hours."

"Anything from Clarke?" Jake asks. They had moved into the village a month ago and Jake hasn't seen his daughter since they left Polis.

"Not since the last note. Luna is supposed to get here today to talk with Raven, you could go see her," Octavia tells him.

"Too much to do here, Lexa, Gustus, and Anya will keep her safe," Jake says.

"She can take care of herself, I'm more worried she'll go crazy," Octavia says with a smirk. "Come on, the food shed is first."

Jake nods as he follows her.

Clarke's P.O.V

Clarke sat in the throne room. The Desert clan ambassador was speaking beside her. "We need more medicine, Heda. It is hard to come by and our people are getting sick," The Desert clan ambassador says.

"I'm sure Skaikru could help," Lexa says making Clarke look at her. "Is that possible, Clarke?"

"Yes, we can help, if I could see one of your people who are sick, I would be able to sent my father a letter to tell him what to send to your clan," Clarke answers.

"What do you want in return?"

"Weapons, we don't have a skilled blacksmith yet, and our weapons could be better. I have heard good things about your blacksmith. I'll have my father sent the medicine in exchange for four spears, three axes, three swords, and four knives," Clarke says. The Desert clan ambassador stares at her for a moment.

"We can do that," He says.

"Great. Are any of your sick people in the city?"

"Yes," He answers.

"I'll look at them after the meeting," Clarke tells the Desert clan ambassador who nods.

Kane's P.O.V

Kane looked at his door as there was a knock. "Come in," Kane says. The door opens and David Miller comes in. Miller had told his father about the plan a month ago and he has been watching Shumway and Jaha for Kane. "Anything?"

"Maybe," David says as he walks over to him and sits down across from him. "Shumway's been around here a lot. He asked Jackson for the medical history for the people around Aurora. Kane, I don't think you got long," David says.

"Dammit," Kane says as he leans back with a sigh. "Tell Miller to tell everybody to be ready at a moment's notice, and I'm going to need you to get some guns, give them to Bellamy, Murphy, Harper, Aurora, Sinclair, Miller, and me. Can you do that?"

"Yeah, I can," David says. "I don't want people to die, Marcus."

"Neither do I, but we need to be prepared, if Jaha does find out and we can do this peacefully, I want that, but I'm not risking any of our lives."

"Alright, I'll get everything we need," David says. "Kane, you need to prepare yourself, when Jaha finds out, he'll come after you. You might have to kill him."

"I know," Kane says softly. "I know."

Raven's P.O.V

Raven sat in her workshop. She looked at the door as it opened and Luna came in. "Hey," Raven says with a smile as she stands up and hugs the woman. "Did you miss my company."

"Everyday," Luna says with a smirk as she follows Raven over to her work bench. "What are you working on."

"Solar panels," Raven says and Luna looks at her confused. "If I can get them to work, they collect power from the sun and store it. They'll give us electricity," Raven tells her. "I got two of your motors done though," Raven says as she points at the corner. "They will make your boats go faster."

"You're amazing, Raven," Luna says.

"I know," Raven says.

"When was the last time you left this building? Besides to sleep."

"I don't want to answer that," Raven says. Luna grabs her hand.

"Come on, we're going to do something fun," Luna says and Raven groans as Luna pulls her out of the workshop.

"I have work to do," Raven says.

"It can wait," Luna tells her. "Don't you want to spend the day with me?"

"Fine, what are we doing?" Raven asks.

"It's a surprise," Luna says as she leads her to the stables and climbs on her horse. "Come on, don't you trust me."

"Mostly," Raven says and Luna glares at her as Raven climbs on the horse and leaves the village with Luna.

Murphy's P.O.V

Murphy grabs Wells's arm as the teen swings at him and flips Wells over his back causing Wells to hit his back on the metal floor. "Alright, that's enough," Wells says. "I need to be able to walk."

"One day you'll beat him, Wells," Jasper says from where he sat.

"Doubt it," Monty says.

"Both of you shut up," Wells says as he stands up. "You see Charlotte lately?"

Charlotte had been arrested a week ago after her parents had been floated and she attacked a guard. "Yesterday," Murphy says. "She's doing okay."

"Poor girl," Harper says as Wells sits down beside her. Murphy nods as the door is pushed open and Miller walks in with a bag.

"What do you got there, Miller?" Murphy asks as Miller sets the bag down and opens it revealing three guns.

"What the hell, Miller?" Wells asks.

"They're close aren't they?" Murphy asks.

"My Dad thinks so," Miller says as he holds a gun out to Murphy who takes it and then hands one to Harper. He ducks the third one in his pants. "All of you need to stay here for the next couple of days. Until we know we're in the clear and keep those hidden."

"We don't need to kill anybody," Wells says.

"We hope we don't need to," Miller says. "But better to be prepared, I don't like it either Wells."

"Won't they do inventory?" Harper asks.

"No, these are the guns they give to trainees, they are just loaded," Miller says. "Stay close to each other."

Lexa's P.O.V

Lexa walks into Clarke's room and looks at the blond as she said on the couch drawing. "How did it go with the Desert clan ambassador?" Lexa asks.

"Good, I knew what they needed, sent a letter to my Dad and he sent one to his clan leader about the weapons," Clarke tells her. Lexa nods.

"What are you drawing?" Lexa asks.

"Nothing," Clarke says as she closes the journal and puts it under her knee.

"Last time you told me that, you were drawing me with bat ears," Lexa says as she sits down. "As your Commander, I'm ordering you to let me see."

"You know that doesn't work on me," Clarke says. "I know under that tough interior, you're just a teddy bear."

"Maybe next time we train, I should knock you into a coma," Lexa says and Clarke smirks. "I do need to talk with you about something."

"Great, that's never good," Clarke says. "What's wrong?"

"Anya has been hearing reports, about an assassin. No one knows who it is, but they have been killing people along the roads, traders, they killed a healer from the shadow valley clan last week. It seems like they may be making their way towards the Skaikru village."

"You think someone wants my Dad dead?" Clarke asks.

"I don't know yet, I have sent some warriors to guard the roads and to guard the Skaikru village. This person is very skilled, Clarke. We must be careful. I sent a letter to Jake as well."

"Do you know who this assassin works for?"

"No," Lexa says. "They may not be after your people, but we need to be safe."

"Alright, can we go there soon."

"The day after tomorrow, is that okay?" Lexa asks the blond who nods. "Good," Lexa says as she grabs the journal out from under Clarke's leg.

"Lexa, put that down," Clarke says as Lexa opens it and looks at the drawing. It was of her sitting on the throne with the sun hitting the left side of her body.

"This is beautiful, Clarke," Lexa says.

"So are you," Clarke says and Lexa looks at her. Lexa was about to speak when the door opens and Anya comes in. Lexa looks at her.

"There's been another murder," Anya says.

"Where?" Lexa asks.

"Here, they killed the desert clan ambassador," Anya says. "The assassin is in the city."

Raven's P.O.V

Raven and Luna sat by a waterfall watching the water. "Did you just come to our village to see me?" Raven asks. Luna looks at her.

"Of course not, like 10 percent of it was to check on the motors," Luna says and Raven chuckles. "I have missed your company, Raven. When I decided to stay in Polis. I thought you'd be there longer."

"I've missed your company too," Raven says. "How about I come back to Polis with you. I could use some more parts."

"I'd like that," Luna says and Raven smiles as she lays her head on Luna's shoulder.

Jake's P.O.V

Jake walks into his house as the moon started to rise. He looks at Indra as she sat at the table eating. "Please, make yourself at home," Jake says with a smirk.

"You were taking to long," Indra says as she holds a piece of paper out to Jake who takes it and reads it.

"An assassin, is that why you are still here?" Jake asks her.

"Yes, the Commander wants me to stay here for a couple of days and make sure nothing happens."

Jake nods as he sits down. "I guess our peace is about the end."

"It seems that way," Indra says. "But we will win."

"We will."

Titus's P.O.V

Titus walks into his room that night and shuts the door. He locks the door and walks towards his bed. "Titus," Titus spins around and sees a figure standing by the door.

"Who are you? What are you doing in here?" Titus growls as the person steps out and he takes a step back.

"No, you are dead," Titus says as the person walks closer. "You are dead."

"I wish I was," The person says as they bring a knife into Titus's stomach. The flamekeeper gasps in pains as the person kicks his leg making him fall to his knees.

"You don't have to do this," Titus says.

"My queen demands it," The person says. "I don't have a choice, you took that from me, I do what she says or I die, or worse, I'm just a weapon now," They say. "Yu gonplei ste odon," The person says before they slit Titus's throat. He grabs for his neck as he falls on his back and dies and the person slips out of the room.

David's P.O.V

David walks into Jaha's office and looks at Jaha and Shumway. "You asked for me sir," David says.

"Yes," Jaha says. "It pains me to inform you that we know who the parents of the girl were. Marcus Kane and Aurora Blake. Shumway and I will be going to arrest, Kane. Take a squad and arrest, Aurora."

"Of course sir," David says. "Now?"

"Yes," Jaha says and David nods as he leaves the room. He pulls his radio out and goes to a private channel.

"They know, get to the ship."
