I love the episode Ninjago Confidential. I find Zane to be funny, Zane and Pixal's interactions are the best, and the opening has Jazz! Mostly just Pixane though.

Set before episode 11.

Zane was a nindroid. That was a fact. To him that was normal. Yet he was still no different from his other brothers and sisters. Still, most of the time Zane feels like an outlier. That unique snowflake. However, that's when he met Pixal and well you know how the story goes.

With Pixal he felt much more expressive, maybe even human. Who's to say. He could laugh with Pixal, feel sad emotions together, and annoy Pixal. Yes, that was Zane's favorite pastime, downloading the most random forms of entertainment and annoying Pixal with it. It may have given Zane a nindroid headache at times downloading so much information, but it was worth it seeing Pixal's annoyed face. It was adorable.

The last time Zane had seen Pixal was on the bounty flying bravely during the merge. Then he awoke to Kai and Nya's shocked faces. Now he felt cold and alone. The sole nindroid.

Zane was working at the portal door. Not coming up with anything conclusive, he went back up to the hanger bay. How much easier this would've been with Pixal he thought but quickly put it away. When he reached the top, he was greeted by the girls.

"Come on, Wyldfire the dragons need a bath!" Nya yelled to Wyldfire who was dancing on top of Heatwave, who was surprisingly muddy.

"We're dragons and human! We'll just jump into a lake!" Wyldfire hopped around. "You need something a little more sanitary than that!" Sora grabbed a bucket of supplies to clean the dragons. "With soap!"

"Soap's overrated." "Soap is not overrated." The two continued to argue over the importance of soap. Zane walked over to Nya. "Hello Friends! Do you need any assistance?"

"Hey Zane, we're trying to get Heatwave and the other dragons to take a large bubble but as you can see, we're having a Wyldfire problem." Nya explained holding up her bucket. "Well, I can help with that." Zane gave Nya a smirk. "Now you're talking." Zane aimed his shot, waited until he jumped off from Heatwave and bam. "Gah!" Wyldfire was frozen solid, from head to neck.

"Haha perfect shot Zane!" Nya cheered and high-fived Zane. "I believe that's called a bull's eye!" Zane chuckled. "Um yeah…something like that." Wyldfire was squirming around, and the dragons were starting to get unamused, so they went outside except for the lightning dragon.

"Hey this is unfair" Wyldfire continued to groan. "I don't wanna take a bath."

"Come on Firecracker, you can turn the bath into a hot tub!" Sora tried to convince her. "I have no idea what that is, but it sounds fun!" Wyldfire broke out of the ice and ran into the elevator followed by Sora.

Now all that remained were Nya, Zane and the lightning dragon.

"Oh, hello Sparky!' Nya reached out her hand to pet the lightning dragon. "Why don't you go upstairs and take bath!" The dragon seemed to understand and flew outside towards the stable

"You seem close to that dragon." Zane remarked. "Yeah, I guess."

"Really? You call that dragons Sparky, that's Jay's nickname." Zane smirked.

"They both have lighting powers. It's common name," Nya didn't look at him. Zane didn't have lie detector, did he? "Are you sure that's the only reason?"

"Busted!" Nya sighed. "Okay fine the dragon does slightly remind me of Jay,"

"You miss him Nya." Zane spoke. "Was that even a question." Nya said softly. "Now how about you Zane. You miss Pixal don't you?"

Zane processed this question for a moment. Strangely he was reminded of the year Nya was gone.

Criminal to think of another girl while they were talking about Pixal, but he still continued on with his thoughts. Everyone was heartbroken losing a close sister and friend, it all took a toll on all of them. However, for most of it, he couldn't even speak about what he was feeling. Zane was able to get over the grief with the help of Pixal, but the grief was still too much for him, and it resulted in him turning off his emotion meter.

This is what everyone felt when he was lost twice. What Pixal felt when he was lost twice.

Zane considered turning off his emotion meter again, but he couldn't. He didn't want to lose the love he had for Pixal.

"Of course, it's like my heart is split in half. I feel incomplete. I need her." Zane finally admitted as well.

"We'll have to find them eventually until then I guess we're missing lovers buddies." Nya nudged him. "Indeed, we are." Zane sighed.

Suddenly, a cold breeze blew through the monastery. "Um Zane are you feeling-?" Nya shivered. "Cold yes. I didn't know I could feel cold. I'm the ice ninja and a nindroid." Zane also shivered.

The two of them really wanted to cuddle with their lovers right about now

"Okay let's go outside and see if Wyldfire actually made the hot tub. The Master of Water is about to become Master of Bubble Baths!"

"A break couldn't hurt." Zane smiled.

Pixal and the others were out there. Zane didn't want to lose his happy memories just to hide away the bad memories. However, until Nya and Zane find their lovers, they'll be plagued with random bursts of cold air. It's lucky they have Kai and Wyldfire nearby.

I was in a freezing cold when writing this, so it fits the mood even more. Nya and Zane will feel my suffering! I'm sorry, I promised I will write about the Jaya reunion but it's just school that's keeping me busy. Like really busy. Just so you know it's in progress.

(And Wyldfire is still a fire hazard)
