Everything was going pretty fast for the chosen kids. It was... like that first trip to the Pokemon world: They were all going at enormous speed in the middle of a whirlwind of colors and a gust of wind that howled in their ears. Finally, they felt themselves fall face first onto the grassy ground. For a few minutes, the kids remained lying down, because that sensation would leave anyone exhausted. Finally, after 5 minutes, they got up and looked around.

They were in a large green field, with tall grass. The sky was blue, more than clean and clear than that of our world, it was slightly cloudy. In the distance, large snow-capped mountains could be seen.

"Have we returned to the Pokemon world?" Mina asked.

"Well… yeah, just look at us," Rex said, pointing to himself: he was a Charmander again.

The others, upon getting up, realized that they were also their respective starter Pokémon, like that first day when they first arrived. Katie, who was the newbie, was amazed at how now that was her body.

"Now that I see it, it's like seeing double," Dylan commented, upon seeing Rex and Katie: there was only a slight difference due to the blue eyes of one and the green eyes of the other.

"I have an idea…" Rose said, reaching into the team's backpack, and pulling out a set of colored handkerchiefs.

Rex wore a red one, while Katie wore a pink one; For his part, Zack also wore a yellow one, Rose a lemon green one, Mina a lilac one, Dylan a navy blue one, and Luke a white/gray one. That scene was a little eccentric, but it was somewhat cooperative.

"Okay… now that we're back, we need to stop these guys before they ruin the Pokemon ecosystem further," Rose suggested, "Where do you think they'll be?"

"You don't happen to have a map besides the tissues?" Katie asked.

"It's true," Rose took out the map from her previous adventure, "But… it's hard to find your way from here."

"Hey, isn't that… the village where Kandia lived?" Luke asked, taking flight to get a better look.

Everyone turned to see where he had pointed: there in the distance, beyond the green fields, was a river whose crystal-clear waters sparkled in the sun. Not far from there was that small village where the kids had been taken the first time by Kandia.

"Well, that's a good place to start… again," Rex suggested, "Let's see."

They headed to that place, but what they found was not exactly the quiet village he had remembered: there were several people there and the houses were almost completely packed with Pokemon of all sizes, from Snorlax to Bellsprouts. Likewise, almost everyone was injured, some seriously and others just had bumps or bruises. Among those who were helping to heal the Pokemon, was a form of a brown reptile, which everyone (except Katie) recognized.

"Aunt Kangaskan!" six of the kids shouted.

The Pokemon turned her head in the direction where the shouts were coming from, her face looking worried for the injured. However, she seemed to regain hope when she saw the kids; Immediately, she hurriedly made her way towards her former friends.

"My chosen children!" Kandia exclaimed, squeezing them with a hug that seemed like a motherly one (we must not forget how these Pokémon were fond of children), "I knew I would see you again! You have restored our hopes! Wow, but…"

She noticed Katie's presence, which made her blush. However, she also hugged her along with the others.

"You must be a new chosen one," Kandia deduced, "How good! "That gives us a lot more hope."

"Thanks…I think…" Katie responded.

"Aunt Kangaskan," Rex said, "Please tell us what's going on."

"Well," she replied, "Come inside."

Kandia took them to the Pokemon house, the one in which everyone had woken up because the Kangaskan had taken them there the first time they arrived. The atmosphere was the same as the previous one, with the difference that there were more baskets of berries and bandages for the wounded outside.

"I'm very glad you're here," Kandia told them, once they were all sitting on the ground, "We've been receiving attacks from evil humans these last week. Day and night I prayed for you to return and now… here you are"

"We're sorry we didn't come earlier, Aunt Kangaskan" Zack explained, "We've been facing them in the human world too, but we managed to reunite and return to the Pokemon world."

"How many wounded have there been?" Rose asked, "Maybe I can help with my Aromatherapy."

"There are around 100 wounded here… Apart from the village, Paradise, Azurview and Treasure Town have become centers where we treat those who face them"

"Have you been confronting them?" Mina asked.

"Several rescue teams, which have become fighting and searching teams. We have also received help from the three legendary Sword Pokemon: Virizon, Cobalion and Terraqueon, who have guided the wounded and fought the villains, but their army grows even more. They control Pokemon with some… some…"

"Dark rings?" Mina asked.

"Yes, have you seen it? Well, we also know that there are Pokemon that have come out of that trance caused by those objects."

"What Pokemon?"

"They have been a Dragonite, a Pyroar, a Donphan, a Hydreigon, a Talonflame…"

The kids looked at each other, and then at their devices.

"I understand…" Dylan said, "The Pokephones didn't lock them up, they transported them back to the Pokemon world!"

"Wow, and to think that these things are more useful than a cell phone…" Katie commented.

"Do you know where the villains are?" Luke asked, "We must stop this madness."

"In the old Dark Mountain," Kandia replied, "They have settled in the old abode of Darkai. But there haven't been any Pokemon imbued with dark energy, they've just been poor unlucky ones controlled. Lately we have also lost places: a few hours ago, we had to evacuate Portual Bay, we have lost a battle"

"Portual… It's near here!" Rex questioned, "We should stop their advance first, then we'll go through the base, everyone okay?"

"Yes," the other kids said.

"Well, then let me give you these," Kandia told them, bringing a basket of berries, "We are a little short on resources, sorry."

"Don't worry, Aunt Kangaskan," Luke told her, "These injured Pokemon need those berries more than we do. We will take care of them without these"

Having resolved it, everyone went outside, heads held high. As soon as they had set foot outside, they were greeted by a bar of joy and celebration: several Pokémon thanked and praised the chosen children (it must be remembered that, due to their previous adventure, they had gone down in Pokémon history, as heroes). They were like fans of their favorite characters. Very kindly, they said goodbye to everyone, including Kandia (who also said goodbye to them as if she were a mother with her children, due to the affection of the Kangaskan), and assured them that they would face the invaders and recover the other Pokémon.

It took hours to travel from the village where Kandia lived to Portual and along the way, Rex and the others told Katie all the things they experienced in their last adventure in the Pokemon world.

"And then we defeated three Poliwrath in the pond of…" Rex said.

"My God!" Rose suddenly exclaimed.

The road was not like before: the forest was no longer so green and seemed to be slowly entering autumn; Likewise, along the way, things were equally or worse: the nectar meadow was gradually withering, Mr. Carracosta's spring was almost dry...

"Let's hope that Mr. Carracosta is well..." Zack wished once they arrived at an almost arid wasteland, "If something happened to the Pokémon that lived there... damn invaders..."

"I want to finish them too," said Luke, "What they have done to our world must not be repeated in this one… they are the monsters."

"There is no other adjective to describe them: haven't they caused enough damage already?" Mina asked.

"AND WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING TO DO ABOUT IT?!" suddenly shouted a voice from the sky.

Everyone looked at the sky: flying on the back of a Skarmory (controlled by an evil ring) stood the leader of the terrorists, dressed in a lab coat, but with his usual ugly face. Suddenly, around the field where they were, about twenty men in suits appeared, armed with electric batons, as if they were planning to catch wild animals.

"I'm surprised you survived Regigigas," he exclaimed mockingly, "I thought it'd beat them up in front of the entire human world. It doesn't matter, we will conquer the human world as soon as we have the largest Pokemon army."

"Pokemon are not weapons for your stupid war that you lost years ago!" Dylan yelled.

"Our leader surrendered, but I will bequeath his power… I will destroy even the smallest amount of imperfection…"

"That madman was fighting for an extremely stupid cause!" Rex shouted.

For a moment, the boss seemed angry as the veins on his face bulged with anger. However, he relaxed for a moment and then raised his hand.

"Well look at our new weapon… Go Hyzard!" he shouted.

Something large and pure white crossed the sky and suddenly sent a powerful flare in the direction of the chosen children. They reacted in time and dodged it.

"Time to Ultra Evolve!"

They all changed to their Super form, and then to Ultra, because they knew that their enemy was no small feat. The new enemy descended next to the boss: it was another Charizard, but this one was completely white on each of his scales, the membranes on his wings were gray and his eyes were blood red, as if he wanted to make the creature bleed. enemies of him.

"What…what did you do to that Pokemon?" Katie asked, seeing the new creature, thinking that she had over-experimented with a peaceful being. However, the white Charizard, or Hyzard, as he had been told, responded:

"Don't worry, precious… I'll leave you last so you can see who you leave…"

Katie's blood almost ran cold. For his part, Rex also paled, although not as pale.

"Is that you, Martin?" he asked, "What the hell has that crazy guy done to you?"

"Don't you dare call my father that," he responded, making an impression on the kids, "I only did what our family has done for years: seek for power. By the way, thanks to a scan of your DNA, it was possible… but don't think that will stop me from taking revenge on you…"

"This is the Hybrid project," the boss explained, "By crossing human DNA and Pokemon DNA we have given them more power than ever… and with it… Hyzard, give them a test of your power, or better yet, kill them…"

"It will be a pleasure… Hybrid Flare!"

The Hybrid launched a powerful white and gray flare, which the chosen kids hardly managed to dodge (although fortunately, they did). However, the damage to the environment was shocking: at the moment of crashing, the fire spread across a circular area the size of Regigigas.

"Slash!" Rex attacked Hyzard (he already left his human name for his new nickname).

However, it only stopped him without much effort and with a single claw. Almost immediately, he counterattacked:

"Mega Punch!"

Rex was hit in the stomach with such force by his enemy's other arm, he felt a shock in a single blow, his strength seemed to diminish and his muscles were paralyzed by the impact... that single blow was extremely lethal.

"Rex!" Katie shouted, afraid to see what had happened.

"Vine Whip!"

Rose trapped the Hybrid's arm with her vines, although he did not flinch at all. On the contrary, he only turned his head in the direction of the Meganium.

"Mina! Let's combine attacks!" Zack yelled at his partner, "Thunderbolt!"

"OK!" Mina supported him, "Thunder Wave!"

Both rays combined and hit Hyzard squarely, but he did not move or flinch in the slightest. With just a flap of his wings, he freed himself from that electric field created by the combination of movements. Then, he left Rex, who couldn't move after the blow, and grabbed Rose's vines, dragging her towards him.

"Rose!" Luke shouted as he flew up to try and help her, "Aerial Ace!"

But, faster than the Unfezant, the new Hyzard pulled Rose in front of him, and put her as a shield, so Luke had to stop in his attack... bad idea: the Hybrid launched a Flamethrower at close range that severely damaged Luke... He then proceeded to throw Rose to the ground and finish her off with another Flamethrower. However, Dylan stood next to a clone of himself.

"Water Pulse!" he attacked him.

Dylan's attack seemed to match that of the enemy, but this white/gray fire was too different, it was as if he had no life or… as if he snatched away life itself. The enemy's energy overwhelmed the Greninja's attack and would soon destroy him...

"Light screen!" Rose defended.

If it weren't for that defense, he probably would have done serious harm to both of them. However, it did leave them quite injured. Seeing them weakened, he rushed towards them.

"Thunder Fang!"

Zack attacked Hyzard with everything, but he stopped him from the electric horns without even feeling an electric touch... how was that possible? Did that abomination have that much power?

"Earthquake!"

With a fierce shake, the enemy lifted Zack and then slammed him into the ground, leaving him badly injured. Mina, not wanting to be left behind, concentrated all her energy into one blow.

"Rock Smash!"

But the enemy parried that attack as if it were a normal fist. Mina looked surprised before Hyzard attacked her.

"Negative Breath!"

The attack was similar to Dragon Breath, but this one was also white and perhaps much more powerful. Before one blinked, he had defeated the Nidoqueen as well. However, when he was about to finish her off, a Blaze attacked him from behind: it was Rex, who had gotten up despite the pain.

"You again, loser?" Hyzard asked him, "I can see that you want to suffer, right?"

Without giving Rex time to get up, the enemy rushed towards him, intending to finish him off. However, Katie stepped between them.

"I won't let you do this," she told him, defiantly.

"I'm no longer interested in you since you chose to go with that loser," Hyzard told her, "You're all just inferior races."

"Well then… I no longer have anything with you! You are no longer human! Flamethrower!"

This time, Katie did expel all the fire she could. However, even though it was powerful, the hybrid Pokemon was not hurt at all, and it had not defended itself.

"Is that all the fire you can throw?" the enemy sneered, "Pathetic. Look how it is…"

Hyzard expelled an enormous amount of fire that anyone would have died from (even a Pokemon); Just at the last minute, Rex also released fire, trying to reduce the attack damage. Despite this, the impact damage was tremendous. The enemy then let them rest on the ground, and then flew towards his father.

"Do you want me to finish them off or are you going to experiment with them like the rest of the Pokemon?" he asked him.

"Well, it would be interesting to experiment… even dissect them," the boss responded. Then, he turned to his soldiers, "Put them on the truck!"

The soldiers obeyed and began walking towards the chosen children, while holding their electrifying sticks to prevent them from running away. When they were about to catch them, a ray of rainbow light came out of nowhere and hit the ground, causing such light that it blinded those present (those who were not unconscious). When the glow dissipated, the bad guys saw that the chosen kids had disappeared; Furthermore, the land had bloomed again and was full of life.

(A few minutes later…)

All of the chosen kids slowly regained consciousness and discovered that their bodies had completely healed, plus they had returned to their base Pokémon forms.

"Where we are?" Katie asked, looking around her.

None of the other kids knew the place, but it was as if they had died: they were in a splendid green forest, with an exquisite, clean aroma in the air and a blue spring sky. In the center of that forest (where they were now) there was a huge tree, bigger than the others, whose leaves were not green, but rainbow. Small particles of golden glitter descended from its cup. There was an intense positive aura around it.

"Welcome to the tree of life, humans" a voice that seemed to come from the top told them.

A large deer-like Pokemon came down from the tree. It had an elegant appearance, with black fur and its front legs had a kind of frame with yellow edges. Its fur from its neck gave the idea of being a type of bluish frame due to two pronunciations at the beginning of its long neck.
