Chapter 5 : No Quite Famous
Last time on Total Drama Island, The Killer Bass won the dogeball match against Screaming Gopher thanks to Scott, who set up B. In the end, it was B who was eliminated. This time, it's another contestant who will board the losers' boat, joining the first 3 unlucky contestants. Who will be next on the list? And who will remain? Watch TOTAL DRAMA...ISLAND

On the Killer Bass side, the team is happy and proud of itself.
"Nice job comrade, another victory" says Brick.
"Don't thank me, it's normal" says Duncaan arrogantly.
"We've certainly won, but we mustn't slack off, we must win as many challenges as possible" says Sky.
Brick is proud of himself; he's never taken command of a team, but for the first time he's succeeded.
"I sense a deep satisfaction in you," Dawn tells Brick.
"Yes, that's because..." says Brick before Dawn can intervene.
"Because you were someone who submitted to the army and now you're leading a team," Dawn says.
"How... How do you know?" says Brick.
"I read it on your aura" says Dawn.

Okay, I don't talk much because I'm not socially comfortable, but that's the supernatural. Auras!

The Screaming Gopher team had seen the scene from home and the atmosphere was different, the campers were disappointed.
"Seriously, guys, two losses in a row, you really suck," Amy said.
"You weren't much help either," said Leshawna.
"It's not my fault, Rodney told her," Amy said, touching Rodney's shoulder.
Se blushed and smiled broadly
"I think... Amy's right... and we need to pull ourselves together" said Rodney.
"Well said Rodney, we mustn't give up" says Jasmine.

I don't know who to love, Amy and Jasmine are great but I can only choose one. What should I do?

After breakfast, the campers heard Chris on the megaphone.
Rise and shine, folks! Breakfast's over. It's time to show what you can do! Participants are on a show stag
"Since when do we have a show stage?" asks Dave.
"Stop asking questions and let me explain the challenge," says Chris. Welcome to our sublime, non-modern open-air theater! ". Today, your challenge is one of my favorites. We're going to put on a talent show! At this revelation, the faces of Dave, Idris and Scott show great disappointment...
Each team has eight hours to choose its three most talented candidates. They will represent their team in a show tonight. Sing, dance, juggle. Do whatever you like! But keep it legal, okay? " said Chris, looking at Duncan.
"Too bad, I've got a great talent for it," said Duncan.
"Our jury will be made up of our talent scout. He's been a DJ, a VJ and a hardcore rap legend. I mean MASTER CHEF! He'll give you his vote with his electronic spoon," says Chris, touching Chef face. "The losing team will have to eliminate one of its members tonight.

"Okay guys, I'm going to call you by your first name, when I call you, you're going to show me your talent," says Jasmine, "Okay then, Sam, what's your talent?
"I don't know. I finished Street Blaster V without suffering any damage" says Sam proudly.
"How did you do that?" says Rodney. Berado makes a noise of surprise
"I have a talent for video games" says Sam.

Street Blaster V is one of the most difficult games, and I finished it without any damage. It took me three days to finish it.

"I don't know if playing a video game is going to impress Chef, Sam...," says Jasmine hesitantly.
"She's not wrong, we need better skills," says Leshawna.
"Sam, I put you in the maybe," says Jasmine.
Killer Bass
On the Killer Bass side, there are talents to pass, but none of them are interesting.
"We're going to lose this challenge," Dave mutters.
As Duncan explains how he can break every bone in a person's body in two minutes, Sky speaks up.
"Alright guys, I'll show you my skills," says Sky.

The only "talent" I have is disgust. But what have I got to lose?

"Okay, just before, does anyone have a lighter?" asks Ciel. Duncan reaches into his pocket and says, "Okay, can you light a campfire? Duncan takes his lighter and lights a campfire. Sky drank a bottle of soda and started burping on the campfire.
BUUUUURRRRRRP
Sky belched so loudly that there was nothing left of the campfire, the Gophers could hear him from their hut. In a second, there was nothing left of the campfire. There was silence for a few minutes, until the male members of the Killer Bass began to applaud, all but one. This was Dave, who had been assaulted by Sky's saliva.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! DISINFECTANT! I NEED HAND SANITIZER! And hand sanitizer for recidivism!" said Dave, screaming and panicking until Sky intervened.
"Breathe, you're okay, calm down, you're okay," Sky says. Dave calms down and smiles at Sky.

I usually panic more than this, but the strange thing is that Sky has a very good effect on me.

I think Dave's half in love with me, but I'm not here to have a boyfriend, I'm here to win!

I propose that Sky enters the contest," said Dave in support. "Dave, Brick, Shawn and Duncan agree.
"Sorry, but it's disgusting," said Idris.
"He's not wrong, it's disgusting," asserted Gwen.
"Sky is a champion gymnast, why doesn't she do a number? " said Idris
Meanwhile, over on Gopher's side, Izzy was demonstrating a dance called the rattlesnake dance. She can't convince Jasmine.
"I'm a bit desperate, anyone else want to drop by?" said Jasmine.
"I'd like to try," said a voice from behind.
It was Beardo, who had shocked everyone because he could talk.
"Beardo, are you talking?" said Sam.
"Yes, that's because I'm shy, so I make noises to express myself" said Beardo.
"It's time you felt better, come and show us your talent" said Jasmine.
He beatboxed like a pro, which was very impressive.
"Ok Beardo, I'm glad you're part of our team, you're going on stage" says Jasmine.

I have an idea why he can't beatbox. AHAHAH Maybe Max has left his mark on me.

Killer Bass
Sky was doing her gymnastics demonstration, Dave was looking at her affectionately, the others weren't really watching.
Wow Sky, your demonstration was really good," said Dave.
"It's much better than your death burp, although it's very impressive," says Idris.
"We already have one talent to showcase, we're missing two," says Brick.
"Bridgette, do you have a special talent?" asks Brick.
"I can do a headstand for twenty minutes," replies Bridgette.
"Twenty minutes? Isn't that a bit dangerous? " says Dj.
"I've been doing it since I was little," says Bridgette.
"Sorry Bridgette, but Dj is right, it's too dangerous and I wouldn't want anything serious to happen to you" says Brick.

Then Shawn spoke up
"I may have a talent," said Shawn.
"Oh yeah, what's that?" said Brick.
"I'll serenade you with my armpits," said Shawn after removing his vest and sweater.
"What seriously?" says Brick.
"You know... when you perform a classical music number... ... with your armpit?" said Shawn.
"Uh... go ahead..." says Brick.
Shawn starts making armpit noises, but not ordinary noises. They were really musical notes. And he was making music with them. Not a simple tune like Happy Birthday, but an orchestral symphony. As with Sky's performance, Killer Bass was torn between awe and disgust.
"Wow, I didn't expect that. Shawn, you're going on stage," says Brick.
"Cool," Shawn replies.
"We need one last talent. Gwen, do you have a talent?" says Brick.
"Other than looking menacing, I have no talent," says Gwen.
"You look like a vampire, does that count?" said Duncan mockingly.
"Fuck you, Provoc Man," says Gwen.
"Not a bad one," said Duncan, laughing.
Gwen smiles.
"I have a talent, I can talk to animals," says Dawn.
"Wait, your power isn't seeing people's auras," says Duncan.
"Yes, but I can talk to animals too," says Dawn.
"That's great, Dawn, you're friends with all the animals? " says Dj.
"Yes, I can understand them," says Dawn.
"Brother, this girl is starting to scare me", whispers Idris to Dave.
"Me too," replies Dave.
Dawn picks up a little rabbit and starts talking to it. Everyone is shocked except Duncan; Dawn acts as if she's talking to someone.
"Dawn, where did you learn to do that?" asked Brick.
"I don't know, I've been able to do that since I was a kid," Dawn said.
"A rabbit it's sucks, could you do it with a bear or a shark? " says Duncan.
"Theoretically, it's possible, but if he loses control, it would be dangerous," replies Dawn.
"We're at an impasse, what do we do with Brick? " said Sky
"I might have an idea," says Dj.
"What is it, soldier?
"I'm ashamed to admit it, but... I have a talent for classical dancing" says Dj.

Dj arrives in tights and a ribbon. Duncan starts laughing at him.
He starts dancing with the ribbon doing impressive things. The others are impressed by his performance
"Wow Dj, why be ashamed? That was so beautiful" says Sky.
"I'm not a big fan of classic dance but you impressed me buddy" said Idris
"That was a little ridiculous" said Duncan.
"You feel you have to be mean to reject your share of niceness" said Dawn.
"I never told you to read my soul, psychic" said Duncan.
"It's clear that Dj is going on stage with Sky and Shawn" said Brick.
Screaming Gopher
Leshawna showed off her dancing skills but didn't convince anyone
"Amy and Sammy, you're up," said Jasmine.
"Me and Sammy are going to do a cheerleading routine," said Amy.

"Amy will be my partner? (Halete enthusiastically) This could be a turning point!

Despite the relationship between the twins, Amy and Sammy performed an excellent number. Amy had the most important role, which meant Sammy lifted her on her hands several times, but their teamwork was always admirable, thought Jasmine.
Everyone applauded when they finished.
"Good job, girls!" said Jasmine.
"This is too easy for me," said Amy.
"You go on stage," said Jasmine.
"It's my turn on stage," says Jasmine.
She lights a fire with a wooden stick and starts juggling with it. She throws it and catches it as if she were a Hawaiian dancer.
Sam, Izzy, Leshawna, Beardo and Rodney applaud. Sammy and Amy look stunned.
"Impressive!" says Leshawna.
"I'm moving to get on stage," explains Jasmine. No one objects.
"Anyone else want to pass?" asks Jasmine.
"I don't want to pass," replies Scott.
"All right then, me, Beardo, Amy and Sammy get on stage," says Jasmine just before hearing Chris speak into the megaphone.
"The teams should be on stage in five minutes" says Chris.
All the teams are together. The Killer Basses sit on the left and the Screaming Gophers on the right.
"It's time for the big Total Drama Island talent show! Welcome to Camp Wawanakwa's first-ever talent show. Six of our contestants are going to show off their incredible talents. Let's hope they don't make fools of themselves. The first Screaming Gopher contestant to take the stage is... Jasmine.
She lights up a wooden stick and starts juggling with it. She threw it and caught it, just as she had done in training.
Once she'd finished, she stood with her arms crossed, waiting for her score.
"Okay, I'm not a fan of dancing, but damn, that was impressive. Master Chef gives you a 7/10" says Chris.
All the other contestants applaud.
And here's the first Killers Basse contestant... Shawn
Shawn came on stage without his jacket and started playing with his armpits. It was the same music he'd played in training. Many people were torn between admiration and disgust.
"Wow Shawn, that was impressive, let's see what Master Chef's score is. A spoon appeared on top and eight green lights came on.
"8/10, that's an excellent score Shawn," said Chris.
Backstage
Beardo was getting ready before going on stage when Scott approached him with a cup of tea.
"Hello Beardo my friend, I made you a cup of tea before going on stage" said Scott with a pretty face.
"Thank you Scott" said Beardo before drinking the tea.
Confessional: Scott
I just made him drink a herbal tea made from poison ivy. He won't be able to talk for long.
On stage
"Now, Screaming Gopher's second contestant... Beardo
Beardo started coughing and tried to beatbox but the pain was too much, he tried to call for help but nobody understood.
"I don't know what happened, but the chef didn't like it. He gave you a 3/10," says Chris.

He tries to speak by holding his throat, but collapses in pain.

I understood what Beardo meant, but he didn't say who sabotaged him.

Now the second Killer Bass contestant...Dj
Dj came on stage with his dance costume and ribbon. He started to dance, but while he was dancing, the ribbon got stuck in his foot and fell off. He got back up but the ribbon was torn.
"Okay Dj, that was really bad, the Master Chef gives you a mark of 2/10" said Chris.
Dj left the stage covered in shame
"Now, the last of the candidates Scraming Gopher... Amy and Sammy
The two girls took their places and, as in training, it was Amy who had the main role, but Sammy, for the good of the team, said nothing.
Even though it was mostly Amy's show, Sammy managed to stand out a little.
"Okay, girls, that was great, now let's see how Master Chef rates you," said Chris.
Their score was 8/10
"It was a great press" said Chris.
Both girls were proud of themselves
Backstage
"Sky, our last hope rests on you," says Brick.
"You'd better not fail," says Duncan.
"Brother, don't pressure her. She'll do fine," says Idris.
Sky talks to Dave and tells him how nervous she is.
Dave, I'm afraid my demo isn't any good," Sky says.
"Sky, I trust you, you're a better gymnast than I think," says Dave.
"Thanks Dave, you're a great friend," says Sky. Dave's face changes at the reaction to the word "friend."
"Yes, thanks" said Dave

Friend? Friend? That's right, Sky and I are just friends," said Dave before heaving a sigh.

Today, the last person from Killer Basse... Sky
Sky arrived on stage and began to play, she was doing wolfing and fliping, the other contestants were impressed even Duncan, once she had finished a great silence fell for a moment until everyone began to applaud.
"The Killer Bass" watched the scene, waiting for the score, which had to be over 8. The Screaming Gophers were just as nervous, hoping for a win.
"Wow Sky, that was impressive, Master Chef gives you a 10/10," says Chris. All the Killer Basses were very happy, but the happiest was Dave, who hugged Sky.
"Dave... I can't... breathe," said Sky. Dave lets go
"Screaming Gopher, I'll see you tonight at the marshmallow ceremony," Chris said before leaving.

"Who do you think left?" asks Brick.
"No idea," replies Idris.
"I would have said Beardo, he didn't even make his presentation," says Dave.
"You can shut up, I'm trying to sleep," Duncan yelled.
"Sorry soldiers, we didn't mean to wake you," said Brick.
"Great, now that I can't sleep, I'm not going to stay here," said Duncan, getting up from his bed.
"What's wrong with him?" says Dj.
Killer Bass cabin (girl)
On the girls' side, Dawn was talking to the animals. This kept everyone awake
"And hippie, you can shut up, I'm trying to sleep" said Gwen.
"Sorry, but I'm busy" said Dawn.
"I hate this place" said Gwen as she exited the cabin.
As Gwen came out, she found Duncan sitting on the steps of the stalls.
"What are you doing here?" asks Gwen.
I can't sleep, everyone's shouting on the boys' side," says Duncan.
"I can't sleep either," says Gwen, sitting up.
"And Gwen, do you think we should have some fun?" asks Duncan.
"Okay, I've lost sleep. So what do you want to do?" says Gwen.
"Let's go steal some things from the chef's kitchen," says Duncan.
"Okay, I'll join them," said Gwen.
The two of them went into the chef's kitchen and stole chips and drinks, which they shared.
"That was really cool," says Gwen.
"Yeah, we can do it again," said Duncan.
"Maybe," says Gwen before heading back to the cabin.

Author's notes: That's all for chapter 5. And it was unbearable to write it because I don't like this episode, so I tried to improve it in my own way. I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
Opinion on Beardo: At first, when I saw Total Drama , I didn't like Beardo, but when I saw that in his introduction video he says he's shy, I got the idea to put him in the cast and now I like him a little more.
