Rainbow Six Epilogue

The Operation against Black Tusk was a success. But it sadly came at a cost. Two Rainbow operators were dead and hundreds of dead Americans. But there would be more threats, which is why Rainbow is here to stop them. Yet they had a new enemy. One who didn't play by the rules and knew Rainbow inside and out.

The moonless night was dark as Dr. Harishva "Harry" Pandey sat in his study facing the masked man in front of him. He could see the hate in his eyes. The figure tossed a phone and it showed a rainbow team getting ambushed.
"This is happening to Rainbow right now. You did this." The unknown man said
The man continued his rant and Harry grew tired of this nonsense. He taunted the masked man. A loud bang from a handgun rang out. Harry slumped in his chair dead.

Bishop was irritated that Six called him in to meet. He just saw one of his teams get ambushed. Rainbow was still being affected by the Nighthaven incident. Though they proclaimed their innocence. The facts pointed to them but it was too easy. Something wasn't right. Entering the room, he saw the grim look of Six.
"Is something wrong? Besides our team getting ambushed?" It took a minute before he saw his colleague speak.
"Former Rainbow Director Dr. Harishva "Harry" Pandey was found at his home shot and killed." The Swedish man said
"What! Do we know who did this?"
The perpetrator made a video livestreaming the killing."
Bishop was handed a pair of headphones and watched the video on the screen.
"Rainbow used to be feared in my time. A covert unit of apex killers... and you turned it into a fucking Ice Capades. You disgraced my unit, Harry."
Rainbow Five stood there in shock. Remembering the Las Vegas attacks of 2010, specifically, the fact that one of their own betrayed them. Wondering who this potential terrorist is. He had a thought "Could this be disgraced Director James Wolfe?"
"He goes by the name of Deimos. His name was mentioned during the Nighthaven Crisis. But because of Harry's resignation and our reorganization. Our intelligence analysts missed him. Apparently, he's responsible for our distrust of Nighthaven. They're innocent after all."
"Do we have a team hunting this Deimos?"
"We have a team led by Hibana hunting him."
As they were discussing the shocking revelations. Another thought popped into Bishop's head. One that he voiced.
"Could this be Megiddo?"
"I'm assuming you read Sam Fisher's full report on Megiddo"? Six said
"Yeah. Not only did they orchestrate the Third Echelon Conspiracy, but they had a hand in both the Blacklist Attacks and the Black Tusk incident."
"Right. The organization also has members from the United States, Russia, and China. We still don't know their goal." Six sighed
"Control. By being in control of Intelligence Agencies across the globe and connected to large corporations they can control the flow of information."
"Then Megiddo is our next threat."
"I want to look into the files of Operation Patriots. They're restricted. But I have a theory."
"You think one of the members of Rainbow during that time frame could be Deimos?"
"I do, sir."
"That operation is a stain on our unit. But I'll grant you access but you cannot speak of it to anyone. What happened during those events is highly classified."
"I understand."
