Now venturing through the jungles of the Kong Kingdom, Mario and the gang must reach the Kong base, in order to get reinforcements. "Are we there yet?", Lincoln said, but Lucy told him, "You asked that question for the seventh time!".
"Actually,", Mario said, "We are here: The Kong Kingdom!". "Finally!", Lincoln said, "My feet are tired.". Penny soon told Lincoln, "Don't put your hopes to high. Hiking here is part one of the job, now comes the tricky part.".
Lincoln soon realized that the tricky part is actually asking the Kongs for help. "No need to worry.", Mario said, "I'm pretty sure the Kongs would help, and hopefully there's no more tussles with Donkey Kong.".
When Lincoln and Lucy walked into the gates of the Kong Kingdom, they couldn't believe their eyes. "This is bananas!", Lincoln said, noticing the primates that inhabit the area. "Of course this is bananas.", Lucy said, "Because this is full of monkeys.".
"Actually,", Penny corrected, "Half of them are monkeys, while some are apes". "Thanks, nerd", Ashley teased, as Luigi said, "Let's just get to the ruler of this kingdom, and ask them for help.".
However, what they don't know is that there are in for a tussle, much to Mario's dismay.
Meanwhile, in the Dark Lands, Bowser Jr and Lola were looking at the stars together. "You know,", Lola said, "Despite it's flaws, your world is actually pretty cool.".
"Well, I'm glad you see it that way.", Junior said, as he and Lola hold hands. "This would be a great night.", Lola said, "And maybe after our wedding, what should we do as a couple?". "Maybe, we'll think about that later.", Junior said, "Right now, just focus on what's happening right now.".
"You're so reasonable, Junior.", Lola said, "You're always so truthful.". Junior however, felt his heart jump to his throat, as he knew about the secret Kamek told him, however he doesn't want to tell Lola.
"Uh...", Junior said, "Yes. I am.". Lola soon noticed that the little koopa is sweating, and asked, "Are you okay?". "Nothing, just a little tired.", Junior said, as he lets go of Lola's hand.
Morag was spying on the duo near a tree, and said, "That's it. Have your date, and when the wedding comes, I'll be the new ruler.". Suddenly, Morag noticed a bird called a Crowber near the tree, and it pecked her.
"Get out of my face, you stupid bird.", Morag tried to say, but she fell our of the tree. "Did you just hear something?", Bowser Jr asked, to which Lola said, "Only your calm use of words, my prince.".
Back at the Kong Kingdom, Lana was pretty amazed by the karts. "Wow!", she said, "Who knew that apes can build all this cool stuff.".
"Well, apparently they can.", Penny said, "The Kongs are intelligent. But when they reached the main gate of the Kong ruler, a voice rang out. "Halt!", it boomed, "Who goes there?".
"It's a-me, Mario.", Mario said, "And this is my crew, we came to ask you guys for reenforcments.". "If you're worthy for us.", the voice said, "Those two kids, specifically the one with the orange shirt and the one with a goth appearance, should challenge my grandson in a battle!".
"I should have known.", Mario said, doing a faceplam. "Challenge a Kong in a battle?", Lincoln said, to which Mario said, "Well, Donkey Kong might be strong, but I've beaten him before.".
"Can we get front row seats?", Lana said all excited, "I really want to see a monkey fight!". "It's ape, Lana.", Lucy corrected, but Lana said, "Whatever?", as she and the rest of the group enter the arena.
When Lana and the others went into the arena, everyone took their seats, except for Lincoln and Lucy. "Let the battle...", said the voice which was revealed to be Donkey Kong's grandpa, Cranky Kong, "Commence!".
"Alright.", Lincoln said, as he goes into a running pose, "Let's a-go.".
The battle soon started with Lincoln running up towards the silhouette of Donkey Kong, but when the Kong was revealed, Lincoln slammed into Donkey Kong's hand, and gets slapped on the face multiple times. "Ooh,", Starlow said, who was near Lana, "That's gotta hurt.".
Fortunately, Lincoln slipped through, and soon powered up a boomerang flower, which gave him a boomerang suit. "Hey, Donkey Kong!", Lincoln said, about to throw the boomerang, "This is so on like you!".
When Lincoln threw the boomerang, Donkey Kong grabbed it, and broke it right away. However, Lincoln has a few more, and he kept on throwing, but each one wither gets destroyed or dodged by Donkey Kong. "You can do it!", Penny said, to which Ashley said, "Yippee.", in a bored way.
Soon, Lincoln was out of boomerangs, but as he was about to get clobbered again with Donkey Kong's fists, Lucy appeared and said, "Hey, monkey man!". Donkey Kong looked behind him, and noticed that Lucy now has red bangs over her black hair. She was in her fire form.
"You get him, sis!", Lincoln said, as he tried to back away from Donkey Kong. Lucy kept chucking fireballs at the huge Kong, and unfortunately, he dodged them as well. "It's no use.", Lincoln said, "We can't beat him like this.".
"Unless...", Lucy said, noticing one of Lincoln's boomerangs on the ground. She picked up the boomerang, lit it on fire, and threw it at Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong got so scared, that he ran from the arena, and climbed up a tree, before falling down, and getting trapped in a barrel.
"The challengers win!", Cranky Kong said, as the crowd cheered. "Wow, that was really something.", Lincoln said, "Who knew that playing with fire can lead to this?". "Now that you two won the battle,", Cranky Kong said, "You have worthy enough for us.".
"Well,", Lincoln said, "The reason we came here, is that we need to ask you a favor.".
Meanwhile, back in the Dark Lands, Bowser Jr has wrote a song for Lola, similar to how his Dad has wrote a song for Peach. "Wanna hear a song?", Junior said, to which Lola said, "Yes, please.".
Pulling out a keytar, Junior started to sing, "Lola, you're so cool and with my star, we're going to rule. Lola, understand, I'm going to love you till the end.". Lola just gazed at Bowser Jr, with awe, as he kept singing.
"Lola, Lola, Lola Lola Lola. Lola, Lola, Lola Lola Lola. I love you, oh, Lola!", Junior continued to sing. "Mario, Luigi, Lincoln, and Lucy too, a thousand troops of Koopas couldn't keep me from you! Lola Loud, you're at the end of the line, I'll make you mine!", Junior kept singing.
"Lola, Lola, Lola Lola Lola. Lola, Lola, Lola Lola Lola. I love you, oh, Lola!", Junior sang for a grand finale, and after the song was over, Lola ran to Junior and kissed him, saying, "That was the best song ever.". "Seriously?", Junior critizied, "On the lips?".
Morag, who was still spying on the duo whispered, "Well, that will also be your last song you ever heard, Loud.".
