Chapter 29:
Aiden went to a nearby outdoor store, walking to the back, kicking the door open and goes in, walking to the hoodie section, grabbing a black hoodie and putting it on, he heads to the knife section, and grabs a hunting knife, the gun section was next, smashing the glass, he takes a Glock and raids the bullet cabinet for the necessary rounds. And last but not least, a radio.
Thirty minutes later, D.C police arrived on the scene, along with Kai and the gang. Kai goes up to the detective in control of the scene, "Detective?".
The man turns around, "Ah, Detective Shanahan, you must be Aiden's brother?". Kai shakes his hand, "So it was my brother?". Pete nods, "I'm afraid so, but don't worry, we got local LEO's, state patrol even FBI on this, we'll find him, if we look hard enough.".
Kai nods, "My brother is trained by the best, he won't make it easy.". Pete nods, "I know. I promise, I will bring him home. Safe and sound.". Truth be told, Pete was still hurt about Sam dumping him, but truth be told, he can't do anything about it, except help this family bring their son home. One of the forensic gals called Pete over and showed a list of things missing.
"A hoodie, a hunting knife and a Glock, well, that escalated quickly." He said and rubs his temple. "Shit, in form all joined in the search that our suspect is armed and dangerous.". The nearby uni nods and goes to his car.
"Be adviced, suspect is armed with a knife and a Glock, proceed with extreme caution.".
Aiden, sat on a hill, his radio on the same frequency as the cops, now he knows they're on to him, exactly what he didn't want. "I must finish my mission!".
Walking to a nearby car dealer, he finds a used-pick-up truck, smashing the window, he gets in and places his finger over the ignition, it glows and the engine spits to life. Now for the long drive to Colorado.
Detective Shanahan looks at the evidence at the dealership, a missing truck, broken glass, but no blood, meaning no DNA, and also, no fingerprints. "This kid's good! Not even thugs are this good.".
Kai looks around, the dealership has no cameras, Aiden must've removed them before stealing the truck. But where could he be going? There's only one place, home.
Aiden drives down the highway, heading for the destination of his target. The SGC, he must finish his mission, in his master's honour. Nothing will stop him from…
Smash!
A car hits him, spinning wildly, he opens the door and steps out, the car spinning away from him. His Glock at hand, he aims to the van that hit him, "Who are you!?". The van stops and the side-door slide open, out comes the team sent to get him, Special Forces soldiers. "Drop the weapon and come peacefully!".
Aiden eyes the attackers, "No." he lifts the gun, and the men fire at him, Aiden, lifts his hand and catches every bullet, "Pathetic!". Dropping them one by one, "I expected a challenge!".
"You got one, brother!".
Aiden turns around, Kai stands there, "How did you find me?". Kai smirks, lifting a device, "Your tracker still gave off a signal. We're not stupid.". He walks forward, drawing his swords. Tossing one to Aiden's feet, "Pick it up.". Aiden, drops the gun and picks the sword up. "Let's dance.".
The swords collide, and the battle begins, Kai, being the superior swordsman, keeps an upper hand, but Aiden has an advantage, he controls technology, harvesting the electrical currents from the vehicles, he turns the radios into flashbangs, causing everyone to drop, but not Kai, he fights the tension building up in his ears, and keeps fighting, his head feels like exploding, but he isn't quitting, not yet. "I am not giving up on you.". Aiden smirks, "Give up!".
The truck behind him gave him an idea, Kai runs to it, with his sword, he slashes the dash, the radio, which is the generator for the high pitch frequency, releases a huge amount of energy, causing Aiden to drop to his knees and cover his ears. "MOTHERFUCKER! THAT'S GONNA MAKE ME DEAF!".
With that, Shepard shoots him with his Wraith stun gun. Knocking him out, cold.
