Sleepless D: Apologies for the late update. Getting back to work and it is taking up a large amount of my time. I also just realised that I made a time error in scale and judgement that my teenage brain back then failed to notice and I missed due to a long absence. Original timeline had Naruto learn in a few weeks and had a few days of rest before the day of the exams. We'll fanfic edit and have Naruto being pushed much sooner within the time frame. Will have the final exams sooner than expected, but that's the fun of fanfiction. Nothing is set in stone as far as the creator and reader cares. Peace out.

Kurenai touches his shoulder. Naruto's head jolts upwards, looking at Kurenai with blank eyes. Moments pass as he stares into her soul, something flickers from behind his pupils and recognision seems to come to him. "K-Kurenai Sensei. How was...how was the date?" Naruto asks, blinking a few times.
Kurenai looks at him weirdly, looking at the two Sound ninja in her apartment before looking back at him. "It was a good start...can I ask what happened?"
Naruto looks a little vacant, smiling a little, as he pats the still shivering Kin, looking more vacant than him. "Had to save Kin...save her."
Kurenai nods, glancing at Naruto's right side, seeing what looks like flesh coloured plating on his biceps that stick out from his torn shirt. She sees a glint from the shine from what look like a large flat head screw just under his shoulder. "I don't remember you having as many limbs." Kurenai comments, looking at Naruto carefully.
Naruto simply nods, "Yep..."
Kurenai narrows her eyes, leaning down and seeing that he's not focused on anything and seems oblivious to his surroundings. She sighs, seeing he seems to be in shock. From what happened or his body changing this much, she's unsure. "Naruto, I apologise in advance." she comments, gaining a nod from Naruto before she pulls her hand back and smacks Naruto across the cheek.
Naruto jolts, not focused and scanning the area, shaking a little as he looks at Kurenai. "K-Kurenai Sensei? What...what happened? Why did you smack me?" Naruto asks, rubbing his left cheek, feeling off.
"Naruto, what the hell happened and why do you have twice the number of arms." Kurenai demands in a tone all Sensei should know.
Naruto blinks few times, looking confused and looks to his left, seeing Kin in his arm. "Kin? I...what?" Naruto says before looking to his right and his eyes widen in shock, seeing three arms. Naruto seems more confused than Kurenai about the extra limbs, moving them slightly to see that he has control over them. It's a strange sensation, like they're his limbs yet not.
"Naruto!" Kurenai yells, gaining his attention once more.
"I...I saw Kin and...I ran into Kabuto. He led me to Kin and...those damned eyes! It was that snake bitch from the forest! The Forest of Death! But they swapped genders and...and...Kin was in danger...there were two coffins and...it goes weird. I can't remember what happened." Naruto tells her, looking at his right arms again, confused as he moves his fingers. "Getting clothes that fit is going to be a bitch..." Naruto comments, still in a little shock.
Kurenai nods, looking at Kin and Zaku. "I'm guessing the coffins were for these two...but, what do you mean bitch? Snake bitch?" Kurenai questions, thinking and her eyes widening as she connects a few dots from the warnings she's received at the meetings in regards of Orochimaru.
Naruto shrugs, blinking a few times before turning to Kin, seeing her shivering in fear. Naruto's senses come to realisation, checking on her, placing his hands on her shoulders, his left hand cupping her face to try and get her attention, leaning to look into her eyes. "Kin? Kin? Can you hear me?"
Kin continues to shiver, blinking a little when she hears Naruto calling to her. She blinks, her teeth clenching as she shakily reaches for his hand and clasps his hands, nodding shakily as she tries to remain focused on him, trying to keep herself together.
Kurenai goes a few hand signs, creating two Shadow Clones. The two vanish as Kurenai starts dragging the shivering Zaku and places him on the chair she has next to the sofa. She looks over at Naruto, a small hint of jealously is felt as she sees he does have a natural caring affection. She sees him holding her with an affection he always wanted and saw others did that.

Kurenai stands by the window, observing the active ninja as she waits. She sent a clone to inform the Hokage of the possible Orochimaru sighting and she sent for Jiraiya since he may know what's happening with Naruto.
She glances back, seeing Kin asleep on Naruto's shoulder, her cheeks somewhat stained with what few tears that broke through from her possible near death experience. Naruto sits there, staring into space as he is still going through the series of events and tries to remember what happened after Orochimaru's killing intent. Zaku remains sitting in the chair, his eyes dark as he tries to figure out how he got into this position, staring at Naruto with fear since he saw hints of Naruto's powers and how easily he threw Orochimaru like a piece of paper.
Knocking comes from the door, making Kurenai jump a little, glancing at the door and sighing a little. She starts walking towards it, checking through the peep-hole and sees Jiraiya standing there, looking a little impatient. Kurenai opens the door, greeting him as he steps through and looks towards Naruto. "Hey, kid." Jiraiya says, sounding a little concerned as he walks forward, looking down at him and his new appendages. Jiraiya sighs a little, crouching down, waving his hand in front of Naruto's face to get his attention.
Naruto blinks, looking up at him and nods, "Hey..." Naruto croaks a little, his throat dry and he coughs a little, swallowing. "Hey, Pervy Sage. What's up?"
Jiraiya reaches for Naruto's arms, checking on them and nods. "The roof. I heard you encountered a snake like fellow and that triggered this...transformation." Jiraiya tells him, gaining a weak nod from Naruto and Jiraiya sighs. "Well...I'm going to have to stick close to you for the time being. I'm going to teach you something that even Orochimaru hasn't achieved."
Naruto blinks a few times, looking a little confused. "Orochimaru? That's the snake guy?"
Zaku coughs in anger. "You fucking threw Orochimru through the wall and you didn't even know who the fuck you were fighting!?" Zaku yells in shock, making Kin jump from her sleep and scans the area in fear, hearing Orochimaru's name.
Jiraiya glances back, looking confused at Zaku before looking back at Naruto. "Anyway, yes. He's dangerous and if he knows what you got...I can only imagine what he'd do. I noticed ANBU and Jonin scouring the area." Jiraiya comments, glancing at Kurenai who nods, having noticed that as well. "I've got a place we can store...what I can only assume are thrown away agents...some place safe. At least until Orochimaru's been dealt with or has left the village's reach."
Naruto nods, smiling a little and squeezes Kin's shoulder. "Yeah! That would be great! You okay with that, Kin?" Naruto asks, looking at Kin who blinks, unsure but grateful for any assistance given by Jiraiya.
Zaku blinks, mostly in disbelief as he looks at Jiraiya. "The fuck? You seriously think you can hide us from Lord Orochimaru? He's got spies everywhere!"
Naruto and Jiraiya blink, looking at Zaku. "Who's he?" Jiraiya asks, already annoyed at Kin's teammate.
Naruto shrugs, "I have no idea, actually."
Zaku looks increasingly annoyed, trying to stand up. "Zaku, shut the fuck up before I tear your arm off again!" Kin yells, making him jump. "We're better off with Naruto and this pervert!"
Kurenai had to struggle to stiffen a laughter whilst Jiraiya looks at Kin with great annoyance. "I'm not a damned pervert!"
Naruto just waves him off, standing up and feeling off, his right side heavier and remembers his extra arms. "Um...Pervy Sage, how the hell did I get extra arms?"
Jiraiya pinches the bridge of his nose, regretting coming here already. "Just...try doing what you did with the hair and focus chakra in those arms and retract or suck them back in. Maybe that'll help?"
Naruto closes his eyes, focusing as he feels like he's trying to pull unknown muscles and strains. Naruto's back retracts, pulling back platings his flesh did not show, revealing metallic casings that have a mixture of veins, muscles and bones underneath. The two arms begin to deconstruct, its plates opening and retracting, slotting into places even Jiraiya has to blink to see the hows and why. Jiraiya thinks it might be a human alteration of the Rinnegan that transforms their body in such ways to process the human body.
Naruto strains, feeling uncomfortable as if someone is shoving something that doesn't belong back into his body. He hears the plates in his back close and seal itself once more and an unusual warm sensation within his chest, unknowingly converting the arms back into chakra to save storage. Naruto opens his eyes, soon confused at the looks of shock from the four people in the room. Naruto blinks, seeing that it wasn't a trick of his eyes before looking back, seeing the extra arms missing. Naruto clears his throat and waves at them. "Okay, they're gone. Should we go and hide Kin and...the guy away?"
Jiraiya's focus comes back, nodding as he waves for the trio to follow. "Right, thank you...you." Jiraiya says, waving at Kurenai, not even knowing her name since Anko never mentioned her friends yet she described Anko as hers. "We'll be busy for the next few days before the kid's Chunin exams. If you got anything to say, say it now."
Naruto helps Kin up, smiling a little as he looks towards Kurenai, hearing Jiraiya talking. Kurenai stares at Naruto, unsure as to what to say but sighs a little. "Naruto, we'll continue your...lessons soon. Good luck in the exams...I'm sure the village will need your strength." Kurenai tells him, smiling a little.
Naruto smiles back, nodding as he puts an arm around Kin, leaving. Kin on the other hand kept looking at Naruto's back, shocked at what she saw and unsure what to feel. Zaku groans in annoyance, standing up and follows the people out. "The fuck did I do to deserve this?" he grumbles as he leaves.
Kurenai closes the door, staring at it for a few moments. "I'd have worried about the Nine Tails abilities...but I don't know how to feel about...whatever that was." Kurenai comments to herself, trying to figure out when Naruto became cybernetic and can only fathom his true powers as seeing the aftermath of a few seconds against Orochimaru. She soon chuckles, imagining Anko's attempts of capturing such a big prey. Almost like a cat hunting a whale, if the cat was a randy lynx in heat and the whale not knowing how big a package he had. She can see why people seem to be fawning over him, like a scent of power. She bites her thumbnail, thinking how to bring up the subject of giving and receiving.

Naruto looks annoyed, seeing a steam house holiday home. "THIS IS NOT A HIDEOUT!"
Jiraiya sighs in annoyance, motioning Naruto and the two Sound ninja to follow. He enters through the front door and quickly ducks, avoiding a knife being thrown at his head. "DAMN IT!" Jiraiya yells in annoyance. "STOP TRYING TO KILL ME!"
"STOP EATING MY FOOD!" The elderly woman yells, shaking a fist in annoyance at him as she reaches for another knife.
"THAT WAS YOUR BOY!" Jiraiya yells, anger still there.
"YOU CAN SPINACH STUCK IN YOUR TEETH!" The elderly woman yells back, reading to throw again.
"YOUR BOY OFFERED ME SOME!"
"HARUKI! DID YOU GIVE JIRAIYA MY FOOD?" The old woman yells, looking back towards a side door.
"YEAH! FORGOT TO MENTION!" A voice calls out through the door.
"Very good, Jiraiya-Sama. Same room and accommodations? Would you like an evening drink to settle your nerves? You seem so stressed out today." The elderly woman says, smiling sweetly and waves him forward, acting like she hadn't tried to kill Jiraiya.
Naruto, Kin and Zaku stare in shock and confusion. Jiraiya sighs, clearly annoyed since it's been a few years since he came here and nearly got a knife for it. "No, I need...actually yes. That would be needed, but I need rooms, special suite of the hot deluxe and screen doors." Jiraiya tells them, smiling.
"Accommodations for..." The elderly woman asks, jotting down some words in her books.
"Two...no, make that three. Kid has a snoring habit." Jiraiya tells her, pulling out a piece of paper and jots down a few words himself.
Naruto looks at what he's writing, confused since he's certain they're not words or they're poorly written. He glances over at Kin, seeing her scanning the area with the same confusion he's feeling. Jiraiya hands the paper over and accepts two keys from the woman, smiling as he waves for the trio to follow. Naruto holds Kin's hand, leading her whilst Zaku shuffles behind, a little annoyed at the situation.
"Pervy Sage...why are we here?" Naruto asks, seeing that they're heading through the corridors of the steam bath hotel rooms.
Jiraiya ignores him, following the corridor and opens a bedroom door, motioning them to enter. The trio enter, seeing a rather pampered room, small table and a large bed and a lovely view of the hot springs. There are wooden planks to block off views from the neighbouring rooms, several seats placed for easy use within the springs and several cosmetic stonework to try and give a little more enjoyment for the eyes to look at. Jiraiya closes the door and walks towards the hot springs, walking across the hot waters to a small shrine that sticks out from the centre of the springs. Jiraiya takes one of the keys and slots it into some foliage that clings to the shrine. The shrine slides with each, showing a small stairwell that descends into darkness.
"After you." Jiraiya says with a smile, waving them to follow.
Naruto, Kin and Zaku just stare from across the spring, wondering if they missed some key detail. Naruto nods, taking a few steps onto the water, stopping when he feels Kin feeling hesitant. Naruto looks, seeing her glancing at his feet as he walks on the water. He glances at her, seeing she's fully clothed and doesn't know how to walk on water, to which he nods, scooping her up bridal style, much to her surprise and begins to walk towards the shrine. Zaku watches, annoyed as he sticks his feet into the water, cursing at the hot waters as he forces himself to follow, ignoring the wet clothing he's getting as a response.
The trio reach the stairs and descend, going down several dozen feet of stone before finding themselves at another door. They push it open and find a dark space of what could be considered living quarters. Some furniture with high legs to avoid the small puddles of water that seem to have accumulated on the floor. Beddings stand in the corners of the room, plainly blanketed as thin pillows rest at the head. Naruto lowers his eyelids, unimpressed as he looks at the two chairs, one sofa, three beds and a long, flat table with wicker trays meant to float on water rest on.
"The fuck is this?" Naruto asks, clearly annoyed.
"It's a hideout. You'll be safe here. The rocks are unusually dense and chakra flames flow through the pipping which conceals your chakra presence. It's good enough for a few day and I'll be sure to provide food for you guys."
"There's a leak." Zaku points out, clearly annoyed.
"You're in a spring. If there isn't any water, you'd complain. Trust me on that." Jiraiya says with a hint of annoyance.
"Even my childhood had more funishings than this." Kin comments, looking at the plain blankets.
"I ain't wasting my food hiding spots for brats that keep complaining." Jiraiya tells them, chuckling a little as he turns to leave. "My room is the one we went through. This place is cheap and is temporary. The elderly woman is the owner and a contact of mine. She's kept people hidden for me and some others over the years. You can trust her since she's with me."
"The one that tried to kill you?" Naruto asks, blinking a little.
"I'll see you later for training, Naruto. Sleep whilst you can." Jiraiya tells him, waving them off as he heads back to his room.
Naruto stands there, a little baffled by the situation but sighs as he rubs his eyes, knowing it's very late after all the shite that's happened this night. Naruto walks over to a bed, sitting down and removes his torn, nice clothing gradually, not really caring about his wet feet with his trousers and chucks them to a nearby chair to keep them off the water covered floor. Naruto lays down in just his boxers, blinking a few times, hearing the others moving from the splashing sounds, figuring they are getting ready for their beds as well and even hearing clicking sounds and noticing the room darken.
Naruto closes his eyes, sighing a little, feeling his muscles burn and his chakra already fluctuating from the experience he's been through. Naruto feels eyes on him, getting a strange feeling which makes him open his eyes, glancing to his side to see Kin standing there, looking nervous. "Hey...Naruto. I...thank you..." she whispers, looking at the floor as she tries to think of words to say. "I...I was..." Kin begins, glancing at Naruto.
Naruto shuffles over from the single mattress and showing space, keeping his arm around the pillow and gives a small smile. Kin blinks a little, giving a small, sad smile and sits next to him, taking a few breaths. She doesn't say anything and lays by him, laying her head on the flat pillow and his arm, feeling his warmth and rolls over, facing him and seeing his Rinnegan eyes, piercing into her eyes and soul. She shuffles a little, uncertain how to feel and just relaxes, tired of the day as well and places her arm on Naruto's side, rubbing her fingers across his ribs, unsure if it's metal or bone under his flesh. She soon doesn't care, drifting off to sleep and breaths with ease.
Naruto remains awake, glancing into the room and seeing Zaku sitting upright in a chair, resting his feet on the table, staring at the door in a semi-alert state. Naruto figures he's paranoid, especially since he's with people he doesn't know and nearly died and closes his eyes.
Naruto feels more at ease, feeling someone next to him in his bed, it's a strange yet...calming. He smiles a little, his fingers playing with Kin's long, dark coloured hair as he rubs then between his fingers. He feels a hand rub against his abdomen and a cheek rest against his, pressing hard against his back. Naruto's eyes shoot open, glancing at his left to see Kyuubi laying in the narrow space between him and the wall, snuggling with him with a more slender body to fit in the space provided. Naruto feels the corner of her lip smile as she spoons Naruto, making him confused as he's spooned between two women. Naruto feels Kyuubi's tail brush against his leg, acting like a comfort blanket as she breaths at ease, snuggling into Naruto's neck as Kin snuggles into his arm. Naruto sighs a little, closing his eyes and soon finds himself asleep, enjoying the sandwich he's in, even if one is using his senses to be there.

It's been a few days since then. Naruto's hand is aching from his training in a jutsu the Fourth Hokage invented, teaching him rotation, power and containment. Naruto's eyes caught most of the rotation and power, only struggling with containing it. Naruto's fingers burn as he has all this untold power yet containing it is a struggle. He learnt the rotation of it after a day and the power wasn't an issue, containing it to remain in a ball was the problem. Naruto flexes his fist, feeling the bones crack from the movement, causing some pain as he looks at his palm, seeing it so damaged, he doesn't even know if his fingerprints are the same any more.
Naruto sighs, being glad for the limited training Jiraiya's given him since he's forcing Naruto to learn through his own experience. He twinges at the memory of many complaints from the neighbouring rooms of explosions of water and beliefs of someone trying to peek by damaging the fence.
Naruto sighs once more, closing his eyes to try and nap, wondering if he should continue to push through the night when tomorrow's the final exams at the Leaf's Battle Arena. Naruto rests his back against the warm stones, feeling them as a soothing sensation for his aching back of this hideout. He'd loath it if it wasn't for the fact it is better than his current apartment, cursing under his breath as he realises he still hasn't put up a repair order with the old man. The only bright things to happen as of late are the nightly cuddles with Kin and the lack of headaches and visions. They're still hazing in the background, but it's like someone pulled the curtains to block the visions.
Naruto feels the bed he's sitting on move, feeling a new weight shuffle near him. Naruto opens his eyes, seeing Kin's dark eyes and he smiles, feeling at ease seeing her. Naruto has been spending his resting periods just cuddling with Kin at night, sleeping with comfort which Naruto's unsure he'll be able to sleep without a warm body next to him. "Hey, Kin...what's up?" Naruto asks, seeing her eyes a little hazy and he catches a scent on her.
"Hey there...Naruto." Kin says, smiling a little as she reaches for his hand, stumbling a little and clasps her hands around his.
Naruto's eyes narrow, blinking a few times. "Genjutsu?"
Kin shakes her head. "Nope...stole sake from that perv." Kin says with a small giggle.
Naruto looks in shock, opening his mouth to respond. He can't find the words and just sighs, annoyed as he rubs his eyes a little. Kin pulls his hand up, kissing his knuckles as tenderly as she can whilst inebriated. Naruto glances at her, staring as she kisses his knuckles before brushing her cheek with his hand. "Kin..." Naruto begins, remembering when she panicked the last time they were together. "You don't have to-"
"I want to...I've been trying...trying to work up the courage to...to kiss you again. I keep having these negat...negateeve...these shit feelings scaring me." Kin says with a slight slur. "I like you, Naruto...you saved me from that bastard and...well to be frank...frank? Yeah. You scare me but in a good way..." Kin tells him, smiling a little as she kissing the back of his hand.
Naruto stares blankly at her, trying to figure out if that was a compliment or not. "I don't want to push you, Kin. You've had bad stuff and...well, I did love our time back then and...well, I didn't mean to scare you."
Kin shakes her head, looking down to the side a little with a sigh of annoyance. "That was my bad...Had some past issues of...big things when I was young. Orochimaru took me from that life and was going to take my life he saved...you saved me and...look, just don't pull out any coffins, okay?" Kin tells him, patting his hand as a means of getting him to agree.
Naruto chuckles a little, nodding. "You're odd when you're not yourself. You can sleep it off, okay?"
Kin shakes her head. "Nope. It's nearly sleepy time and I didn't work up the courage to get this far."
Naruto tries to stifle a laughter at her saying 'sleepy time.' Naruto glances over to a clockwork clock Jiraiya gave them to keep time and realises it's nearly ten in the evening. He didn't realise he had a nap or if the time passed quickly.
Naruto looks back at Kin, suddenly seeing her face lean in fast, kissing him and placing her hands on his shoulders. Naruto stays there, surprised as she moves her lips against his and quickly straddles him, rubbing her thumbs along his collarbone and neck. Naruto kisses back, unsure how to feel about this, but he admits it's a sensation he isn't opposed to.

Kin releases his bottom lip, giving a cheeky smirk. "I spiked him. He's more drunk than I am." Kin giggles, leaning to the side to show a Zaku laying on the sofa, drooling slightly.

Kin's right hand clasps the back of his neck in some pain, finding it too big to fit in her comfortably and herself a little too dry. "Ow..." she whispers, rubbing her forehead against his and clenches her eyes.
Naruto's eyes widen, confused, worried, shocked, unsure what to do. "Are you alright? Am I hurting you?" Naruto asks, trying to check on her, moving his hands to brush her body to try and comfort and brush any pain he could imagine away.
"Yeah...just...not used to this size..." Kin whispers, getting annoyed that the pain is sobering her up faster than she was expecting.
Naruto looks at her, a small, sad smile on his lips as he leans up, catching her forehead on his lips as he kisses her. "You don't have to push yourself, Kin. I'm happy with just cuddling." Naruto whispers, rubbing her back as she looks into his eyes, seeing Naruto's kind, caring eyes and his sweet smile. "I'll only go as far as you want, Kin. Believe it."
