Amy hummed to herself as she made her way through Restoration HQ, its usually busy and crowded halls currently much emptier. It had been a slow couple of weeks with no Badnik attacks, no doubt Eggman was planning his next big attack, so the idea of getting some rest and relaxation in while she could was at the forefront of the pink hedgehog's mind and she had the perfect idea how.

"Good morning Jewel." Amy happily sang out as she entered the Restoration Director's office.

"Oh morning Amy." the beetle responded, barely glimpsing up from her paperwork "I don't need you here today, just some new recruits I have to sort through."

"I know." the pink hedgehog responded "I'm just here to ask you something."

"Oh what's that?" Jewel asked still engrossed with her paperwork.

"Well I was thinking," Amy began, leaning onto Jewel's desk, "since we haven't seen you know who for quite a while, why don't you and the girls come over tonight for a girls' night sleepover at my place?" the pink hedgehog offered with a beaming smile, before quickly adding on the end "You know have some fun before he comes back to ruin it."

Jewel finally tore her attention from her work "That does sound nice." the beetle noted, before worry set into her voice "But I'd hate to keep these applicants waiting, plus we've been expecting a delivery for the pass week and-"

"You know if I go to Tangle before you say yes, she's just going to come and drag you out of this office." Amy interrupted the workaholic beetle, a playful grin dancing on the pink hedgehog's face as she remembered a similar scenario not so long ago "...again."

Jewel let out a small sigh of defeat "Oh alright, I'll just finish as much as I can."

"Great!" Amy cried out in victory "See you tonight!" the pink hedgehog called out as she left, having many more to invite yet.

Her next two potential guests were easy to find as the pair was also in Restoration HQ that day.

"Sleepover!?" Tangle had happily yelled out and jumped in response "Of course we'll be there, right Whisper?"

The wolf looked uncertain at first, but Tangle's excited demeanor proved to be quite infectious for Whisper "Yeah, sounds like fun." she said in the same tone of her name.

Amy smiled brightly at the response "Great! See you two tonight."

After that, the day went by quickly for the pink hedgehog as all she invited answered the same way.

"Uhh, sure."

"Of course."

"Sure thing suga."

"We'll be there."

"Sure!"

"I'll be delighted!"

"I'll be honored."

"Of course Miss Amy!"

Even her special guest.

"Alright fine I'll come!"

And all that was left to do was prepare for the sleepover itself.

Later that day, Amy paced about her Station Square apartment, having swapped out her favorite dress for a white t-shirt and red sweatpants with pink hearts scattered across them while the pink hedgehog's quills were tied up in a pair of not quite buns, making some last minute preparations as she heard the doorbell ring.

"Coming!" Amy cried out as she quickly made her way to the door, opening it to reveal her first group of guests.

"Woah, nice place you got here Amy." Tangle said standing in the doorway, wearing a yellow pajama top with black trim and matching pants, followed by Whisper, dressed in a simple black top and gray pants pjs with black and gray slippers, and Jewel, having traded her business attire for jade pajamas and pink slippers.

"Aw thanks, come in." Amy said with a closed-eyed smile as she ushered the girls inside, who quickly complied, before she explained "You're the first ones to get here, so just give me a second to get the snacks."

However, as she said this, the trio stared in confusion at the pink hedgehog "Uhh, no we're not." Tangle corrected pointing behind Amy, who quickly turned to see what the lemur was talking about.

Sitting on a chair in the middle of the apartment was Rouge the Bat, having swapped her spy uniform for a set of pink slippers and pajamas (with the top open to reveal a black tank top with 'flirty' written in pink cursive on it.)

"ROUGE!" Amy yelled out the bat's name in shock, who waved sassily at the hedgehog, "What are you doing here!?"

"Why for girls' night of course!" Rouge said as she threw her arm with a flourish "I hope you don't mind, but I let myself in."

"I do mind, you broke into my apartment!" Amy protested.

Rouge shrugged off the complaint "Well tell your landlord to buy better locks. May as well have left the door open."

Amy let out a low growl at the bat before her doorbell rang again "Fine you can join us just don't complain that when you don't get any snacks." the hedgehog quickly said as she went to answer the door.

Rouge nodded in agreement as Amy opened the door to reveal Vanilla and Cream, the younger of which was wearing a set of yellow button-up pjs with a pair of orange socks and an absolutely enormous smile on her face. "Good evening Amy." Vanilla said giving a small bow to the pink hedgehog before she knelt down by her daughter "Now dear you be on your best behavior and listen to what Amy says, okay?" the motherly rabbit gently commanded as she brushed some stray lint off Cream's shoulder.

"Of course mother." Cream said, giving her mother one last quick hug before happily skipping into the apartment.

Vanilla smiled as she watched her daughter "Thank you again for inviting her." the rabbit said.

"Of course she was one of the first I thought of," Amy explained before grumbling to herself "I still feel terrible that she couldn't be at my birthday party, should have know that a murder mystery party would have an age limit."

Vanilla gently rested her hand on the guilt-ridden hedgehog's shoulder "It's okay, Cream loves it when she gets to hang out with you, but understands that can't be all the time." the motherly rabbit's words quickly worked wonders on Amy's mood. "Now you have my number in case anything goes wrong." Vanilla said before turning her attention to the others Have fun girls!" she cried out making her leave.

As the door shut, Amy clapped her hands together "Right let's get this sleep over started!"
