After another quick game of Capitalism, sped up by Tangle somehow managing to buy out a majority of the players before going bankrupt herself, the group had shifted to taking turns playing Battle Armada (with Lanolin and Whisper being the current match up.) As the game went on, the others waited their turn with idle chatter and the snacks, consisting of various flavors of chips, Amy had brought out.
Speaking of said hedgehog, she found herself quite busy staring down the apartment door from her seat on the floor "She should've been here by now." the hedgehog muttered to herself as Sally walked up to her.
"So who's winning?" she asked kneeling by Amy's side.
The pink hedgehog glanced over at Sally with confusion in her eyes "Winning what?" she asked.
The Acorn princess let out a small laugh "The starring contest you're having with the door." As she explained that a hint of blush began to appear on Amy's face "Don't let up by the way, think he's just about to blink."
"Ha. Ha. Guess that's your payback." Amy dryly replied.
"Yep, but seriously you gonna join the party at some point?" Sally asked as her face shifted to show genuine worry for the hedgehog "I'm sure whoever your mystery guest is they won't mind that you decided to start having fun without them."
"It's not that." Amy moaned out with a hint of a pout "I'm worried she may not show up at this point."
"So?" Sally nearly laughed out before draping her arm over the frowning hedgehog's shoulders "I know you want this to be perfect, but I don't think one fewer guest than expected is going to ruin things."
Amy wanted to protest further, but a quick glance at her friends broke the hedgehog's resolve "You're right, thanks Sally."
"Hey it's why I'm here." Sally said as she stood back up, gesturing for Amy to do the same to which the pink hedgehog quickly complied as she noted.
"Besides there's still plenty of time until the end of the night." Indeed it hadn't even passed eight o'clock yet.
Sally gave a small nod as she continued "Exactly now come on it's our turn," Amy finally noticed that Lanolin and Whisper had finished their game "and I'm going to destroy you." Sally finished clenching her fist with a manic grin on her face.
"Oh are you Acorn?" Amy questioned a hint of a laugh in her tone to sell how little she thought of the chipmunk's chances.
"Yeah, better bring your A-game Rose." Sally restated her challenge moving her face close to her hedgehog rival.
As Amy and Sally made their way to the Battle Armada boards, giggling like slightly demented school girls along the way, the group looked on with "Miss Amy and Miss Sally really take board games seriously." Cream noted as the pair began to set up their boards, making sure the other couldn't even catch an accidental peek.
Nicole looked on with disappointment and annoyance "You have no idea." the Holo-Lynx muttered out.
As the hedgehog and princess started up their game, another hedgehog stood to the side, feeling quite out of place for some reason he couldn't understand.
Silver glanced around, watching the group laugh and chat happily, as he frowned slightly "I don't get it, Sonic made this sound so fun." the poor confused psychic hedgehog wondered, before he reached a sobering realization "Maybe it's becauseā¦"
"I don't know what you do at a sleepover!" he mentally yelled.
Quickly spotting a quieter area, Silver nervously floated over to where Honey and Sonia were sitting "Uhhh... hi!" he greeted, giving an awkward wave.
"You're... Silver right?" Honey asked receiving a nod from the psychic hedgehog "Like your boots and gloves by the way." she added before Sonia continued the conversation.
"What's up?" the rock star hedgehog asked.
Silver drummed his fingers as he glanced about, as if literality searching for the words he needed wanted to say, "I've never been to a girls' night sleepover... or any sleepover." the psychic hedgehog explained, "So... could you help me have a proper sleepover experience?"
Honey and Sonia shot each other a look, mischievous smiles painting the pair's faces, "How do you feel about getting some makeup?" Sonia asked.
"And getting your quills done?" Honey added.
Silver nodded excitedly and smiled obliviously as he was led over to the kitchen's island counter by the pair.
Suddenly, a loud banging was heard as the apartment door shook and Amy noted with a smile "Oh that must be-"
"WHERE IS HE!?" the girls (and Silver) heard as Amy's door was kicked in and a familiar green tenrec stomped inside.
"Surge!?" the entire group gasped out, shocked and confused at what the lightning-wielding tenrec was doing here.
