Chapter 12

Meanwhile at a hidden base in North America…

"Culling games, Ryomen Sukuna… this shit all happened and yet, there is no record of it? How the hell did the sorcerers in Japan erase something that massive from the minds of their people?!"

They call themselves the Graverobbers. Jujutsu sorcerers who have been born in different parts of the world, however, are few and far between. Together they used their technique and social media to create 'viral content'. Mainly they appear as internet shows among the randomness of the world wide web.

Despite this, they still keep track of other sorcerers, incidents as well as going ons in the world. It's their most recent meeting to date. Yet, there are things they have realized that don't add up.

"I have tried to get reports from the council, but they swap out faster than jackrabbits on a date"

"I noticed that as well, they are changed out far too often now a days. They also dealt with a rebellion recently, led by the Six Eyes himself. I wonder how he feels to be the last sorcerer in his clan to have such a thing?"

"We are not talking about that right now, we are speaking of what happened in Japan and why the world hasn't taken notice!"

Silence.

The table was filled with various sorcerers, many hiding their faces in the shadows. But everyone is more than well acquainted with each other. In fact, sorcerers like them still make a liking, yet with today's technology, they have been publicly filming themselves killing curses yet, they dress up as heroes from anime shows to get the likes over seas.

Still, they work under the radar, the government has little knowledge of their existence, they are aware however don't try to recruit them and for good reason. For there are soldiers who went into the culling games and barely came out alive. Many were killed by sorcerers, but it was the curses that made them turn their sights elsewhere.

"We lucked out since the government is off our case again, when they realized that their little near death experience allows them to see curses… but can't do anything to destroy them… really made them look elsewhere for a source of sustainable energy."

"Who gives a shit, is there a reason why we are here?"

One leaned into the light. A cocky bastard with an odd blond hair cut made him stick out. He took his look from a hot anime called Trigun Stampede. He even took the name of Trigun, since everyone has called him that. "So? Whose gonna answer?"

Another sighed aloud. "We got word from Japan about the rebellious group that have caused the elders some… issues. However, they are willing to reward anyone for taking out any and all who have wronged the council." A pile of photos was thrown on to the table.

Trigun reached and began to skim through. "Hey, these guys are the curse wombs right?" he asked. "I heard stories about them, created over 150 years ago…"

"They have bodies now, but they are one of many targets. The council isn't asking for a miracle, just… lighten the numbers of the rebellion."

"The pay?"

"You name your price."

The table paused. "Name our price huh? Which means… the situation is worst than what they are telling us…" Trigun stated as he tossed the photos back on the table. "But what I am wondering is this… I don't see the demon vessel to Sukuna in the stack. In fact, there was a rumor that boy somehow split himself and made a separate vessel… but that one acts like Sukuna without the murderous intent… What is REALLY going on over there?"

The table was abuzz now.

"He has a point,"

"As arrogant as he is…"

"Still, this does seem suspicious…"

"Either way, I'll go," Trigun stated. "It maybe a good… experience to have."

"You are not seriously…"

"If the mood suits me and the opportunity…" he said offhandedly.

No one argued with him. Trigun has a mind of his own, despite how arrogant he is, he would be considered a special grade sorcerer in Japan. In North America, he's known as an S rank exterminator.

"Well, I think I ought to pack my bags…"

"Before you go Trigun… what do you know of the Tooru clan?"

He froze.

Trigun was halfway to the door when the question was asked. He turned to the table, stunned by it. "Tooru? Are you shitting me on that? They are an urban legend!" he protested.

"Are they? In fact, from the documents I have here, although her photo isn't in the pile, they state that there is a living Tooru left, she wed Six Eyes, Satoru Gojo… and have since had three children together."

He shook his head and snickered. "You expect me to believe that shit?"

"There is also rumor that she has had a daughter recently… if anything, there is a little tale of the Tooru clan, the women will bare you strong offspring. Your technique, as good as it is, will evolved into a better one and be ingrained into your children. Sure, the child is young, but when has that ever stopped anyone?" one snickered.

Trigun… smirked. "I always did like them young," he said and licked his lips with greed. "This, just became interesting… and even a little fun!"

He was quick to take his leave, Trigun has a date to get to in Japan!
