"Are you girls ready?" Zoisite asked as she pulled on his jacket. He turned to see his wife helping Mami with her raincoat as Palla stood in her own coat and held her umbrella. "If we don't hurry they'll run out of ice cream."

"Will they really, mama?" Mami wondered, looking up at her mother with great concern in her eyes.

"No icechip," Ami smiled as she stood up after buttoning up Mami's raincoat. "That's just a bad joke your father likes to tell."

"Aren't they called dad jokes?" Palla wondered as she worked to balance her umbrella on the tip of her index finger. "Which is very appropriate because he's a dad telling a bad joke."

"Oh come on" Zoisite shrugged with a smile. "My jokes aren't that bad. Besides, if we're going to talk about someone who was made for dad jokes, have you heard your uncle Nephrite? Every other line out of his mouth is a dad joke."

"Alright we're already," Ami announced, throwing on her own jacket. The Muzinos made their way out of their wing of the crystal palace and exited one of the secure and hidden exits designed for members of the royal court. Stepping outside, the family opened their umbrella and began to walk towards the ice cream shop.

"100 yen for your thoughts," Zoisite whispered to his wife as she held the umbrella between the two of them. He couldn't help but notice she was lost in thought.

"Just appreciating the rain," Ami mused, raising her hand outside the protection of the umbrella to allow a few drops to land on her palm. "You know the Queen has lunches with Plutos often. During them Pluto shows her other realities as a way to learn from the mistakes of others."

"It's a fascinating idea," Saitou commented, his eyes looking between Ami and the girls. "Why do you bring it up?"

"Not every reality has you in it," Ami sighed, wrapping her arm around her husband's. "Often I find no one and get lost in my work."

"Sound lonely," Saitou replied, his heart beating a bit faster as his wife held him.

"It does and well…," Ami paused for a moment trying to find the right words. "I'm glad you're with me. I know I'm not the easiest wife but…"

"You're an amazing wife and mother," Saitou insisted, hating to hear his wife belittle herself. "Don't you forget it."

"I know," Ami agreed, but there was still a bit of hesitation in her voice. "It's just…thank you for loving me."

"You're most welcome," Saitou smiled, reaching over and kissing the top of Ami's head. "And thank you for loving me. I mean you didn't have to forgive me when I was reborn thanks to the Cauldron. You could have just discarded me but…"

"Now it's your turn not to beat yourself up," Ami smirked, as she turned towards her husband and put a finger to his lips. "You worked very hard to make up for your mistakes. It wasn't impossible not to fall in love with you all over again."

"I did it because you were and are my everything," Saitou proclaimed, stopping in his tracks before turning to face Ami.

"I love this," Ami smiled as she looked at her girls, before looking around at the rain as it fell down on the city she worked to protect. "I love being a guardian, a mother, and your wife."

"Well that's good," Saiotu chuckled, smiling at how his wife was in an absolute state of bliss. "Because I love being a father and your husband."

"It's a nice future we have," Ami stated, turning towards her husband and beaming up at him.

"Hey," Saitou whispered, his hand coming up to capture Ami's chin between his thumb and forefinger. "Kiss me."

"Gladly," Ami agreed, closing her eyes and standing on her tiptoes to deliver a passionate kiss. One of Saitou's hand snaked around her back and pulled her close."

"Eww," Mami groaned, her hands covering her eyes in disgust. "Mommy and daddy are kissing!"

"Mami grow up," PallaPalla scoffed at her sister's behavior. "It's important that mommy and daddy kiss. You wouldn't want them to get a divorce."

"What?" Mami gasped, actually surprised by what PallaPalla had suggested. "Mommy and daddy would never get a divorce. They're perfect for each other."

As Ami and Saitou broke the kiss, she rested her head on Saitous's chest. For a brief moment she was lost between the sounds of the giggles of her girls, the rain falling on the umbrella overhead, and the pounding of her husband's heart.

And that makes 7. Another Senshi Birthday week is in the books. More Sailor Quartet as the children of the Senshi and Shitensou. I still need to do CereCere as the oldest daughter of Minako and Kunzite and JunJun as Makoto and Nephrite's kid.

The real theme though was just like with the end of Sailor Mars' birthday week there is a moment to reflect on how much happier the girls are in a reality where they find happiness while being Guardians of the Queen in Crystal Tokyo. They deserve to be happy instead of being lonely bachelorettes the rest of their unaging lives.

Reviews are love and they keep me going.
