Shortly after Marinette had run into Kagami, the carriage arrived at the Coffaine's ship which shocked Kagami.
"Is this not a pirate ship, Marinette?" asked Kagami as they stood next to the ship on the dock
"Don't worry, the Coffaine's are good pirates," said Marinette.
"They actually work under Baron Jagged Stone as waterway protection, they make sure no ships leave without paying the taxes and other things like that," she said.
"That be right," came a voice from the ship's crow's nest.
"Hi Luka," said Marinette as she noticed the boy leaning over the edge of the nest to look down at them.
"Don't mind him," said Juleka, who approached once the girls were on the deck of the ship.
"He's been up there coming up with lyrics for a new song but keeps getting distracted by every little thing and probably won't come down for several hours," she said.
"It's alright; oh, and I hope you don't mind that Lady Kagami came with me," said Marinette as she motioned to her.
"We ran into each other and I gave her a lift, I also told you to drop the formalities and just call me Kagami," said the dragon kin while glaring at Marinette.
"Sorry, it's just a force of habit," said Marinette.
"I'll make sure to do better from now on, Kagami," she said.
"That's better," said Kagami.
"Well I find you being here more than alright, any friend of Marinette's is welcome on board," said Juleka who was trying not to laugh at their interaction.
"The others are below deck talking if you want to go join them," she said.
"Alright, but are you okay with this, you don't have to be anywhere do you?" asked Marinette to Kagami.
"Do not worry, I was just out having a look around the city when I happened to spot you so there's nowhere I have to be right now," said Kagami.
"Great, also I hope you're okay with fish as that's what I made for lunch," said Juleka.
"I'm good with any type of meat," said Kagami as the three moved below deck.
