Never Piss Courtney Off

Courtney Flores was someone who had made one thing clear during her duration as a member of the Total Drama cast; she may be prim, proper, and polite(ish), but when she's pissed, all that prim and proper stuff goes out the window, and she is as dangerous as an uncaged lion. And nothing pisses Courtney off more than when someone she loves is being insulted, and that includes her boyfriend, Duncan Maloney. And of course, one person who didn't heed this warning was the resident mean girl of the Total Drama cast, Heather Nguyen.

"I'm surprised that Duncan didn't just quit again," Heather had been saying to the other members of Team Amazon in first class. Courtney was stewing at the insults levied at her boyfriend by Heather, especially since she had spent a couple of hours with Duncan, ailing his wounds not only from Chef's surprisingly harsh attacks with a towel but also from getting mauled by a bear dressed as a boar and even getting punched in the face by Cody. Sierra and Cody were laughing along with Heather, and that just made Courtney even more upset as she tried to keep her anger to herself while her right eye twitched.

"I mean, Duncan couldn't even give Gwen an actual fight. She may as well have been facing a rock in that challenge. I think the rock would've been smarter too," Heather continued, eliciting another laugh from Sierra and Cody. Gwen, who was sitting across from Courtney, looked concerned as Courtney harshly threw down her cup, almost causing the contents within it to splash out of the cup. Gwen gulped as Courtney rose from her seat, and stomped over to Heather, Sierra, and Cody, with fury on her face. Cody and Sierra immediately stopped laughing when they saw the infuriated Courtney approaching them, much to Heather's confusion.

"Um, guys? What's with the weird looks? You guys look like you've seen a ghost," Heather asked before being smacked in the back. Heather turned around to confront the person who hit her, but whatever Heather had planned on yelling out was trapped in her mouth when she saw the furious look on Courtney's face.

"Heather, perra estúpida, si vuelves a decirme esa mierda, te meteré los dientes en la garganta y te los meteré en el culo!" Courtney yelled at Heather at the top of her lungs, harshly jamming her pointer finger into Heather's chest. Heather had absolutely no idea what Courtney was saying but swallowed a lump that was forming in her throat, hoping that this wouldn't escalate past yelling.

"Si alguna vez vuelvo a oírte hablar mierda sobre Duncan, ¡yo mismo te arrojaré de este avión! ¡Y eso va para ustedes dos, imbéciles, que se ríen con ella!" Courtney continued yelling, Cody and Sierra almost jumping out of their seats when Courtney's ire and Spanish rant became directed at them. Courtney gave Heather one last nasty look, causing her to sink back into her seat, before walking away from the small coalition. Courtney sighed, looking to get another drink to calm her nerves. As she went into the kitchen to grab a Cola, Courtney couldn't help but smile at seeing her boyfriend, Duncan, drinking some water with his good arm, AKA the one that wasn't in a sling.

"Hey, babe."

"Hey, Duncan."

"I heard you telling off Heather a few minutes ago. Sucks I missed the rant, but…thanks for defending me," Duncan said, walking over to Courtney, patting her on the head with his good hand after putting his drink down. Courtney's smile grew before leaning in to kiss Duncan on the cheek, making sure to kiss his bruised cheek.

"You really think I was going to let some formerly bald rat talk bad about my boyfriend? Puh-lease," Courtney responded. The two continued cuddling in the small hallway for a moment before Duncan kissed Courtney on the top of the head. "You want to come to first class with us? It's getting really boring without you there, plus I want to hear those three jackasses say what they were saying to your face," Courtney suggested with a smirk on her face, which Duncan copied as he cracked his knuckles.

"Sounds like a plan. I think Cody needs a reminder of what I do to nerds like him," Duncan said before grabbing Courtney by the hand, the two walking back to the first class section of the plane. Courtney couldn't help but stifle a giggle as she saw the color drain from Cody's face when Duncan came walking in. Courtney and Duncan sat down next to each other, still holding their hands, as they began relaxing in the comfortable seats. Before Courtney could close her eyes and bask in the relaxing leather of the seats, Heather turned around, looking as though she was going to say something. However, Heather choked those words down, seeing that furious look return on Courtney's face, immediately turning around, and pretending to not even notice Courtney and Duncan behind her. Duncan noticed this, and laughed out loud, patting Courtney on the back.

"Nice one, babe."

"Heather knows I'm not going to take shit from her. And the rest of them know you're not going to take shit either," Courtney said before leaning her head onto the side of Duncan's arm, and preparing for a nap while Duncan grabbed a bag of chips and began eating. They were in for a long flight, and they both knew that Heather would try and piss them off again, but with each other by their side, they knew things would be just fine.
