A/N: After a LONG 2-week break, I'm back! I'm still going to continue this story as long as I live, bleed and breathe.

So for now, I've committed my pure soul, blood, nukes, sweat, tears, and vinegar (no pun intended) into this story tenfold, (and I'll also add a few insane names from military movies and the past in this chapter, and me, GeneralHistorianSworder!)

Anyways, enjoy the story and most importantly, enjoy the chapter! God Bless! Now, onto the story as always, lads!

Chapter III: The Warm Tomorrow.

7:40 AM, December 14th, 2019.

Mabel woke up after she had a dream. A great dream.

The dream was of her, Dipper and Grunkle Stan all reunited with a comedic background while the world cheered on.

But, she knew the world would cheer her and her friends on until Dipper and Grunkle Stan were found.

As long as she rode on, she would be a leader.

And she hoped they could find them before Christmas, because she wanted to have her family and friends reunited in time for Christmas.

That would be a dream come true for her and her ever-loving soul.

Then, she got out of bed and changed, just as the sound of revving engines could be heard as the sun rose in the East, a sight she always adored since she was a young girl.

As Waddles woke up, she went to wake up Wendy.

8:00 AM, December 14th, 2019.

20 minutes after Mabel woke up, a whole horde of cars arrived along with many vehicles, planes, helicopters, soldiers and so on.

As the remainder of the huge squadron arrived, General Historian Sworder stepped out of a heavily guarded Chevy Suburban with his M1911 pistol in hand and ready for anything.

The General had many great adventures through his life from conquering Mount Everest after climbing every other mountain across the world, a feat only he would achieve... for now. And he was the youngest general to do so: at 19. He had always hoped someone else could join him in the top ranks of mountaineering.

And he had hoped a dreamer would achieve that one dream alone and tenfold. And, of course, he'd been called out after his 17th expedition to Mount Everest by Lieutenant Colonel Harrison, via satellite phone, who informed him of Dipper and Grunkle Stan's disappearances.

The General rushed to Kathmandu after the expedition was done and over with, and without sudden warning, rushed back to the States, hoping that he could arrive in time.

Indeed... the man did.

8:30 AM, December 14th, 2019.

Wendy Corduroy got up from her bed as Mabel entered her room.

"Wake up, sunshine!", Mabel said in a cheery voice.

"Hey, Mabel. At least you came in when I was up.", Wendy said, drinking her coffee as she talked to Mabel nearby, standing in the doorway.

As Wendy drank her coffee, a knock came from the door. Harrison, who was already dressed and ready, answered it, seeing General Sworder in front of him.

"Well, hello, General. I wasn't expecting you this early.", Harrison said with a hint of curiosity and near-laughter.

"No time for jokes, Dave. Now, let's get on to business, shall we?", General Sworder said as Harrison made sure to open the door for all his personal bodyguards and a couple of his high-ranking officers and a few soldiers to step into the small cabin.

"Is it only you here, Dave?", Sworder asked.

"No, sir. Field Marshal Carlisle, Mabel, Wendy, Ford, me, and Commander Longsword Anderson are the only 6 here. The rest are in the Mystery Shack nearby.", Harrison said, saying the whole truth and nothing BUT the truth. But, as they continued to have their conversation... the Cavalry had come.

8:55 AM, December 14th, 2019.

As the 5th Cavalry Regiment arrived, Lieutenant Colonel William Bill "Kickin' Ass" Kilgore and Lieutenant General George Armstrong "The Tough Mustache" Custer came in, one on a horse, the other on an Iroquois Huey Helicopter, blasting Ride of the Valkyries, like a call from heaven and the angels out of the sky.

Soon after, Corporal Brian "The Irish Phantom" McGregor and Sergeant Declan "The Scottish Phantom" Murray came in with the 2nd Irish Infantry Regiment of the Irish Army, the 6th Scottish Highlanders and the 8th Infantry Division of the Irish Republican Army, under the command of a great hero of Ireland, Colonel Noel "The Green Ghost of Ireland" O'Leary all rushed in, maintaining a perimeter within 200-300 yards of the small cabin.

Meanwhile, as the master of the Cavalry Custer and the badass Kilgore talked about other important matters, Corporal McGregor asked them to follow him inside.

They did so, as both men took off their cavalry hats and walked into the cabin where as McGregor took off his beret in the process.

"Ladies and gentlemen, might I give you 3 of the best men in the UN'S Army: Lieutenant Colonel Bill "Kickin' Ass" Kilgore and Lieutenant General George "The Tough Mustache" Custer and "The Irish Phantom" Corporal Brian McGregor. These 3 men have been specialized with a special task: to secure intelligence and authorize special missions with task forces under their own or another high-ranking officer's command, tenfold.", Harrison would then tell everyone in the room.

"Well, General Sworder, we didn't expect you here.", Custer would then speak up.

"George, you know me. I'm... everywhere!", Sworder would say before laughing and regaining his conscious.

"Anyways, you and Kilgore have a special task: to take out enemy positions here along the Columbia River, then attack a heavily guarded and fortified concrete bunker North of Portland, and rush towards the location, 25 miles South of Portland. Kilgore, I'm trusting you on this. You're the only person I can trust to launch an attack this big.", Sworder would speak up.

"Don't worry, sir. Me and the boys will get the job done.", Kilgore would speak up.

Sworder would only say one word to Kilgore: "Good."

Then, he turned to Custer and McGregor, having an important mission for them, a VERY important mission.

"McGregor, you are going to take pictures of the positions, and form a tiny guerilla war with your band of Irish Infantry against the rebels.",

Sworder would then tell McGregor that Colonel O'Leary was going with him.

"Aye, sir. I'll make sure that he and his men are ready.", McGregor told Sworder. "Fare thee well."

"God bless you, men.", Sworder yelled back.

"Custer, as McGregor and O'Leary are attacking the rebels, you are going to require information on where Dipper and Stan are being held. We need to know of their location before it's too late.", Sworder would say to Custer with audacity and courage at the same time.

"General, might I ask... will we receive air support any time we call it in?", Custer would ask.

"Yes, George. I'll make sure there are F-105 Phantoms, Thunderchiefs, Thunderbirds and F-86 Sabres patrolling the skies above you, and along with a lone squadron of P-47 Thunderbolts and P-51 Mustangs.", General Sworder would then tell Custer.

"That's good enough. Will Sergeant Murray be coming with my regiment?", Custer asked Sworder.

"Yes, George. Declan is going with you.", Sworder would then tell him. "Harrison, would you be willing to go with Kilgore?"

"Yes, General.", Harrison would respond back to the General. "Is there anyone else coming with me, Sworder?"

"Yes, Dave. Field Marshal Carlisle and Lieutenant Colonel Kilgore are going with you. Commander Anderson will bring support from the Pacific Fleet in Astoria.", Sworder would respond back.

"That's fine enough.", Harrison would respond back before walking out the door to the helicopter where Kilgore was at.

"Now, you 3.", Sworder turned to Ford, Mabel and Wendy. "Ford, you and Wendy are going with McGregor and O'Leary's regiments. As for me and Mabel, we are going to head out with Custer and Murray's regiments."

"Alright, Sworder.", Mabel would respond back.

"Alright, then, ladies and gentlemen... boots on the ground, we're moving out!", Sworder would respond with a quick response, holding a M60 heavy machine gun in his hands, covered with gloves.

As the men moved out, a young Private, the most bravest and famous Private in the world, in fact, Private Steven Roberts of Company A, the Big Red One, one of the world's best military units, picked up a book.

He didn't know what the book in particular was, but what he knew was that his brother and cousin, Staff Sergeant Lucas Roberts Jr. and Lance Corporal Jackson Edwardson of the Lead Cavalier Unit of the Alabama Blue Rollers, a famous Southern unit, were the most famous and brave lower-ranked officers in the world.

But, Private Roberts didn't pay attention to mind. He just put the book into his pack as he looked at his only 2 medals, a Purple Heart and Legion of Merit.

He knew he had nearly died in combat serving his country and had heavy merit in his heart through heaven and hell combined.

He was back, and ready to fight another day, as the book rattled in his pack, unknown to him, it was going to do something. A great thing, in fact, the best thing in the world.

But now... was the time to fight for honor and glory and bravery and for his fellow men.

And, he knew it. He always did.

Before he rolled out, he said a single sentence, despite being an Army man, he said: "Semper Fidelis, Marines. E Pluribus Unum."

The Big Red One was gonna get a little surprise, and he thought it was golden.

Little did he know... he was wrong. He didn't await the wiring in front of him...

Not yet, at least.
