For the first week of Hogwarts, the 1st years were free. Classes didn't start until next week. And for the most part, Sophie liked the school, she got along with most people for the most part.

It was just two things, the Slytherin and that the fact people kept saying she looked like harry potter's mother.

Lily Potter.

Now she doesn't know his mother or father or his family. But according to what everyone was saying she did look like her.

But only a few differences, she was shorter, hair was longer. Her eyes were not as green, she had a blue hollow around her eyes, and smaller lips. And her hair was a deeper red, the look was dark red. Her hair was a beautiful dark red, almost crayon red.

Sophie sighed and moved her bangs from her face, she was walking down the hall and trying to find the library but up ahead she could see the famous golden trio.

Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. Anxiety suddenly spread through her body. She didn't understand why she was suddenly so nervous around Harry Potter.

He was just a student like she was, biting her lip. She looked over to her left as they passed her. But she didn't Go far because a voice stops her.

" Hey, excuse me?" A voice says.

Stopping in her tracks Sophie turns around with a fake smile.

" Yes, can I help you?" She asked, she shuffled from left to right on her feet. And waited on their reply.

Harry didn't speak, only stared at the girl in front of him. Her beautiful red hair was such luxury and her voice-

He snaps out of those thoughts. Why was he suddenly thinking like that?

" Um... Could you help us with the library?" Harry stutters out a fake answer.

The girl in front of him smiled and he sighed in relief.

" Of course, that's where I was going. Follow me if you want to get there" Sophie Replied.

Harry nodded, and he and his two best friends followed the redhead girl to the library.

As the week was coming to an end. Sophie learned a few things. 1, Harry Potter was famous. 2, every girl was envious of her with him. 3, the houses were prejudiced against one another. 4, the headmaster was a manipulator. And 5, the Potion master/teacher Professor Snape was a bully to everyone and especially harry potter.

He claims the boy was looking for fame and wanted to show off. He always picks on Hermione. Calling her a know-it-all.

Snape also picks on a sweet boy named Neville Longbottom. The boy could never get his potions right when the oversized nose man always has his head around his shoulders.

The first one in class she called him a berk. Which means a stupid person.

The look the man gave her was not a good thing. But he stopped when he saw her, it was like he was looking for someone else.

' Lily Potter... Harry's mother ' she had thought.

Sophie didn't speak to the Professor for the rest of the week.

Right now she was in her dorm room getting her school uniform ready.

Tomorrow would be all 1st years classes and the start of the year.

Putting her shoes to the side, the door opens and Lavender comes in with another girl she didn't recognize.

She thinks her name was Parvati or something like that.

Both girls glanced at her when they came in and sat on Lavender's bed.

Sophie rolled her eyes and finished getting her things ready for tomorrow.

When she finished, she picked up a book and started reading. But it didn't help because the talking the girls were doing across the room, was drowning out her peace.

-" oh my god! Why is that buck tooth girl always hanging with them? She's not even on their level"

" Right, and she's not even attractive. I don't know why they even hang around her."

" Was is even her name? Harmony? Hailey?" Lavender laughs.

" No, it's Hermione. One of my friends has a class with her and she's so bossy. Always trying to get the answers, she's honestly annoying" The other girls say.

Lavender laughs more.

" Right, I could never be her friend".

Their words were hurtful and it pains her to see that no one likes Hermione granger.

Just because someone looked different than you did doesn't mean they are ugly.

Beauty is in the eyes of the holder. And besides humans shouldn't be the judge of beauty.

" You know it's not good to talk about people right? And you shouldn't judge anyone. I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone to speak of you that way" Sophie snarls.

Placing her book next to her she stood up and so did the two girls.

She might not know all the spells, but she did know one.

" Ascendio! "
