Naruto sat on the edge of the Academy building and watched as Mizuki trained the kids in throwing shurikens. Iruka's absence was strange, but that wasn't the point right now. Naruto adjusted his forehead protector. Today, he graduated early from the Academy and became a genin. Uzumaki did not really want to finish the Academy faster, but the Hokage insisted on it.

Sarutobi considered him a genius, but Naruto himself was sure that he was lucky and that fate had decreed so. He passed all the subjects, final exams and that's it. In another, he has not yet improved and did not learn other arts. Naruto was born an orphan, as Hiruzen said, his parents died on the day of the Fox attack. At first, Uzumaki lived in an orphanage, and then the Hokage gave him a personal home. It was difficult for Naruto to communicate, and his peers rarely accepted him. From this, he became withdrawn and fixated on his own, so he grew up very calm and able to control his emotions. He spent a large amount of time reading books that the Hokage advised him to read, they could be found in the library.

By the way, it was Hiruzen who taught him to write and read. Time flew by, he learned a lot about both history and geography, he already knew the theory of chakra and the ability to handle simple weapons. On his sixth birthday, the Hokage gave him his first set of weapons. Uzumaki immediately set to work and in half a year completely honed his possession, along with taijutsu. The Hokage was amazed at Naruto's progress, but then learned that Naruto was able to steal some of the scrolls. After that, Hiruzen decided to teach him the techniques of cloning, replacement and transformation. If Naruto managed the last two in two days, then problems appeared with the first. Then the Third decided for the sake of interest to show him the shadow clones, a little fearful of the consequences. On the second attempt, the blond succeeded, but he immediately lost consciousness. For the next six months, Hiruzen presented the Uzumaki with a training system for physical training and expansion of the chakra focus. The result amazed the Hokage, and when the time came, Hiruzen sent him to the Academy. Six months of training and he's a genin. Naruto sighed wearily.

Iruka came up behind him and sat down next to him. They were silent for a while, and then Naruto decided to ask a question:

"Why aren't you in class, Iruka-sensei?" Iruka flinched in surprise.

"Mizuki will replace me. Why are you here? I thought the Hokage would give you the first task today," Umino counter-questioned.

"That's what I thought too, but he said to go rest. Tomorrow I have a mission." Naruto's tone was as calm as ever. For a moment, Iruka didn't even know what the blond was feeling, whether Uzumaki was good at hiding his emotions or just being a difficult child.

"Why are you so sad?" Iruka decided to guess the student's mood, which was a bit aren't you in class, Iruka-sensei?" Iruka flinched in surprise.

"Mizuki will replace me. Why are you here? I thought the Hokage would give you the first task today," Umino counter-questioned.

"Why are you so sad?" Iruka decided to guess the student's mood, which was a bit wrong.

"I'm not sad. That's just how I am." Umino smiled guiltily.

"How is your self-development?" asked the teacher.

"Now I plan to take it seriously," the Uzumaki replied without changing his calm tone.

"Haven't you been serious yet?" Iruka was surprised by the student's answer, because he was training all the time and his performance was the best in the class, and in the Academy in general in all years.

"That was childish. Transformation, cloning, replacement" Naruto listed, not hiding his displeasure. "It's nothing. Now that I'm a genin, I'll have more serious training ahead of me," he said confidently before standing up.

"I'm proud of you" Iruka smiled as he looked up at the student. "After all, you are my only genius student," he said proudly, although he understood that his merit here was very minimal.

"Thank you. I'll go. See you later," Naruto moved towards the exit.

Running home, he went to the cabinet and opened it, knocked several times on the back wall, and a small board fell off, revealing a view of a large scroll. Naruto took this one and went to the range number 7. He immediately opened the scroll and began looking for something.

"Fire, Wind and Lightning," Naruto said aloud, recalling his elemental affinity as he went. "I think this technique will go first. Lightning Style: Thunderbolt.

Evening of the same day

Naruto was returning home, carrying a scroll in his hands. Today he did nothing. The technique was very difficult for him, he believed that this was due to the fact that lightning was the third element. All he succeeded in was converting chakra into lightning, but that was only for a few seconds. And he wanted better results. So he got home.

The next day, in the morning, Naruto went to the residence for a mission. It was simple - to catch a cat. But it was only at first glance. It was difficult to find the animal. It took half an hour. She was on the roof of one of the houses. Naruto started towards her, but when she saw him, she sped off, jumping from rooftop to rooftop. Uzumaki thought this was strange, but he still ran after her. Say what you like, but a shinobi is faster than a cat, this case was no exception.

He had already reduced the distance to a minimum. All that was left was to grab it. But out of nowhere, an ANBU appeared in front of Naruto, and the Uzumaki collided with him, after which the two fell from the roof to the ground.

"Watch where you're going!" Naruto shouted in rage, losing his composure. He glanced once more at the lying ANBU and only snorted in his direction, then, quickly getting up, ran on.

"What a disrespect," the ANBU got up and brushed off the dust. He looked after the retreating boy. "I should teach him some manners and proper conduct. Without thinking twice, he rushed after him.

Caught up with Naruto's ANBU in the alley where he had just cornered the cat. The ANBU decided not to interfere with him and observe this action. All the same, now in my head a lot of questions arose for which there were no answers.

Meanwhile, Naruto was slowly approaching the cat.

- Kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty, - Uzumaki slowly approached the victim, when suddenly the cat rushed at Naruto and suddenly, for a second, an image of a huge Fox appeared before his eyes.

The cat jumped on Uzumaki, causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground, but managed to figure it out and grab it.

"What was it, did he lose concentration for a second?" The ANBU noticed this strange change, which caused even more questions. The desire to teach a lesson slowly changed to interest, and the Dog himself was not against it.

"Let's go. I'll take you to the owner." Meanwhile, the genin had already dusted himself off and stood up.

Naruto took the cat to the residence and then went to practice. Taking a scroll with him, Uzumaki headed towards the training ground. The ANBU continued their surveillance of him, abandoning their mission. Interest in the boy grew. And the longer he followed him, the more questions arose.

At the training ground, the Dog managed to lose the blond, and therefore had to look for him. ANBU ran around almost the entire range, but did not find the kid. There were still a few places left, but suddenly lightning flashed somewhere in the distance, and the ANBU hurried there. There he found Naruto. He stood and held with one hand the other, which was covered in burns and shaking in convulsions. ANBU immediately realized that something had gone wrong with the technology. But he was in no hurry to intervene.

"I'll have to stabilize the amount of chakra a little next time" Naruto drawled through the pain and immediately fell unconscious.

Кабинет Хокаге

The third sat at the table and sorted through the papers. After knocking on the door, the ANBU entered the office.

"Oh, Kakashi, have you finished your patrol yet?" Third was surprised.

"Yes. And I have questions for you," the ANBU said seriously, removing his mask.

"Ask" the head of the village did not object.

"Who is the blond with blue eyes, in a blue T-shirt and a black jacket and trousers ..." he recalled the image of a boy.

"This is Naruto Uzumaki, genin, graduated from the Academy yesterday, ahead of schedule, genius." He immediately recognized Naruto. "Did something happen?" The Hokage was nervous.

"It's okay. I overworked a little in training, I took him to the hospital, and then I found out where his house was and threw it there," Kakashi explained briefly, after which Hiruzen was able to exhale calmly. "Did you know that he has a scroll with technicians?" There was a strange distrustful and sarcastic tone in this question.

"A scroll? The Hokage smiled. So he took it anyway. And I already wanted to visit him. Don't worry, I let him take it myself." The Hokage thought for a moment and continued after a minute.

"Kakashi, you have a new mission. I want you to watch Naruto and guard the scroll. This, of course, is unnecessary, but I want you to appreciate it in the same way"

"Contact allowed?

"If you think it's right. Do it"

"Yes!"

The ANBU is gone.

"That's it. Naruto, so you still decided to use it? You will be a talented shinobi." The Hokage lit his pipe, and then returned to the documents.
