Fred and fredwina," Callie joked.

"okay no more," Arizona said leaning further into the couch.

"one more, please," Callie asked, before slipping the last bit of wine in her glass.

"ok, ms comedian one more," Arizona allowed her

"Fred and Georgia, like Harry Potter," Callie cackled at her own joke, causing Arizona to roll her eyes.

But body betrayed her as she tried to keep down her head, her shaking shoulder gave it away. Arizona laughed to not cause it was funny, she laughed cuz the Callie's laugh was so infectious.

"that was horrible," Arizoma laughed wiping away tear trying to compose herself.

"oh like you can do better," Callie said pouring the rest of the bottle into her glass.

"alright I think we should slowing down the drink ," Arizoma said grabbing the wine glasses.

"hey you can't drink," Callie said out

"Callie didn't know came over here but she kissed Arizona.

"Callie stop," Arizona said although she wanted her to anything but stop.

"did I do something," Callie pulled back concerned

"we aren't together anymore," Arizona looked away

"ok," Callie smirked going back in.

"for a reason," Arizona said grabbing Callie's arms.

"but we don't have to be together to have sex," Callie slurred putting her arm around Arizona pulling her closer.

"Callie just go to sleep," Arizona said staring the ceiling.

"Come on, just look at me," Callie whined.

"CALLIE, go to sleep," Arizona

"Fine," Callie got up walking to her bedroom.

she waited till she heard Callie's door lock to move to her room. A soon as she sat on her bed the water works came and wouldn't stop.

"Stupid,stupid,stupid," she sobbed.

Little did Arizona know Callie could hear her and it took everything in her power to not run into Arizona room and comfort her.

"Looks like mama is at work this morning so it's just me and you," Arizona said to Sofia.

"she left a note on the table for you," Sofia pointed to the table.

"sorry I was paged early this morning," Arizona laughed "she isn't even on call today," Arizona mumbled.

"so who's going to watch me," Sofia asked

"you're going to day care," Arizoma smiled "alright let's get you dressed.

"yeah ,let's," Sofia smiled and she could have sworn she saw a dimple.

once she got to the hospital she made it her mission to find Callie.

"can you page Torres," She asked a nurse.

"I can't page her with out a patients name," The nurse said.

"I don't have a patient I need to talk to her," Arizona sighed.

"I can't page her without a patient," The women sighed as well.

"there is no patient," Arizona felt herself getting louder. "Please just paged her," Arizona calmed.

"I'm sorry I can't," She said again.

"okay," Arizona took a breathe before walking away from the nurses station.

"oh Bailey have you seen Callie," Arizona asked as she saw the woman get of the elevator?

"no I have not seen your ex-wife," Bailey said continuing to the nurses station.

"well when you see her tell her I'm looking for her," Arizona asked?

"I won't," Bailey said, causing Arizona to groan.

"where have you been," Arizona turned around on couch hearing the door open.

"at the hospital, just stayed the night," Callie said throwing her keys on a side table.

"no you weren't and if you were you could've give me a heads up," Arizona said

"a heads up for me going to work," Callie asked confused as she made hee way to the fridge.

"no, because you weren't on call but, a head up that you wouldn't be home," Arizona said

"I'm sorry I didn't know it would be such a big deal," Callie shrugged as she opened a bottle of water

"of course it is you tried to kiss me and the you run. And every time I tried to talk to you today or yesterday you would run away from me like a little kid. We aren't little kids, we have a child, we are having a baby you can't run from me after you make decisions you regret," Arizona said watching Callie drink her water as if she didn't care

"who said I regret it," Callie said closing the water bottle

"god when did you become so cold," Arizona said

"cold, you wouldn't even look at me," Callie said

"you tried to kiss me when you where drunk because it familiar, we were married we spent around six years together it's what you know. And you fell back into it but you where drunk. So I decide instead of letting you kiss me drunk and regret it, I'd rather not have you kiss me at all," Arizona explained crying

"well who said I regret it," Callie slammed the water down

"you're the one who said I was suffocating you," Arizona shouted.

"I thought we already discussed this, it wasn't you it was the non communication or the arguing or the not talking to prevent arguing," Callie said

"I knew I shouldn't have done this," Arizona said grabbing her keys.

"done what, wait what are you doing," Callie asked?

"if I would've let you kiss me, two things could've happened. You apologize say it was a mistake or you ask me to start over which I obviously say yes then ten years down the line you realize you don't love me and it just the baby and I would've wasted ten years," Arizona said

"but that's not true," Callie said

"or really you don't want me, you're lonely," Arizona said

"no I am not," Callie gritted through her teeth.

"go to New York and apologize and get back your pretty perfect penny with two legs and redhair. Your the same height too so it really perfect and she young too that's a plus," Arizona said

"of course the leg," Callie said in disgust walking away

"of course it's the leg," Arizona said

"but why why does it always come back to the leg," Callie asked.

"Because you made it about the leg, you started a project to fix me. And I don't need to be fixed I'm perfectly fine. You've been trying to fix me since I got back to Seattle after the plane crash. And I know I was pissed at you and I know I was a monster. But it wasn't my outside that needed fixing it was in here," Arizona said pointing to her heart. "But you never got that, and you'd alway try to help me or fix me like my life was so bad, if you'd stop treating me like I was a child and took a step back you would've saw how you affected me. You'd, you hurt me," Arizona stuttered. You made feel small. You act like I'm incomplete the way you talk about me and the leg. You've made the leg taboo. Any time Sofia jokes about my leg you scold her, but I'm the one who taught her that. And any time some else bring up the leg you shut it down like im to fragile to talk about. You never gave me a chance to just breathe, and the whole time while you tried to help, I was depressed. I was so depressed I even thought about taking my own life but you never notice. You just thought I was being bitchy. I sat in that hospital bed in that apartment and eyeball a bottle of pills ready to take them. But the baby monitor went off, Sofia is who saved me and made me whole, not you or any project you've done. You've done nothing for me," Arizona said

"it wasn't supposed to be like that Arizona," Callie said

"well it was," Arizona shrugged wiping tears off her face

"I just wanted the old you back," Callie said

"well she died in that forest, she died trying to keep mark and herself alive, so she died right alone with Lexie she's gone and she's not coming back," Arizona yelled

"Arizona," Callie said moving closer to her

"Honestly, I'm feeling kinda suffocated right now so I'm going to go," Arizona said grabbing her keys

Callie moved quickly wiping her tears, and throwing on a smile she stepped in front of arizona

"wait we can fix this," Callie tried to reason.

"no I think you've done enough," Arizona said getting her coat

"Arizona please."

"just let me run since I do it so well."

"that was so long ago," Callie said now standing in front of the door.

"look I don't have the patience to talk with you right now, so let me go," Arizona push her aside to leave.

Honestly Arizona had no idea where she was going she just drove, amd she didn't care how she did it. She drove with reckless abandon. Out of no where she saw the light change thinking she could make it before the light turned red she sped up evening more. But a car had just turned, and so she did, so pressed the breaks, but with the rain the car went spinning out of control. Thankfully she had her seatbelt on so she was ok. She reached over in the other seat looking for her purse, but she didn't bring it. She put her hand in her jacket pocket and got nothing. She pat down her jeans and felt nothing. She knew she shouldn't move cause there could be some underlying issue with her but she needed to call an ambulance.

"ma'am, I've called an ambulance," A guy said as he approached the window.

"did I hit anybody," Arizona asked?

"no maam but you were fixing too, are you ok," the guy asked?

"I think so but I'm pregnant, so I don't really know," Arizona said?

"would you like me to wait with you til the ambulance comes," The man squatted near the car.

"um, I'm fine but can I use your phone I can't find mine," Arizona asked?

"oh sure sure," he said pulling out his phone.

Arizona typed the number she knew but heart into the phone

"hello," Callie said

"it's me Arizona I've been in a car accident," arizona sighed preparing for the panic.

"what how are you ok," Callie threw out ten million questions at once.

"yes I'm ok, I was speeding," Arizona

"SPEEDING," Callie yelled

"oh I think the ambulance is here," Arizona lied, still pissed at Callie

"I don't hear any ambulance."

"wee woo wee woo wee woo," Arizona copied the sounds, before hanging up.

"the misses," The man asked?

"yeah I guess," Arizona sighed not wanting to explain their situation to a stranger.

"well, I go fishing when I'm mad at mine, or out to the lake and just watch the water move. Speedings nice I guess too be I like to be more cautious," The man laughed

"well I don't normally speed, I just cruise when I'm mad or drink, but I'm pregnant so I can't do that so I decided to drive and I wanted to beat the red light so I sped," Arizona said

"is that what your going to tell her," He chuckled

"it's the truth," Arizona pouted

"never caught your name," The name said

"Arizona," Arizona smiled

"well my name is Tim," the man said

"excuse me," Arizona said

"Tim, or Timothy the last name is Johnson," Tim said

"sorry it's just I had a brother named Tim," Arizona said

"well I think he sent me down this street to help you. I'm not from here, I was just gonna go to the gas station and get some snacks for my kids and I decided not to listen to the gps and I followed behind you for about 2 streets then you swerved and it all made sense," Tim explained as Arizona heard an ambulance in the back ground

"yeah well, I think my chariots here," Arizona joked?

"well I should get out of your way, hungry kids and all," Tim joked

"thank you Tim," Arizona said looking up at the sky.

"he says you're welcome," Tim told her, before walking off.

"sir do you know her," The paramedic asked

"no, but I know she's pregnant," Tim replied, walking back over to his car.

"alright ms can you give me a name," The paramedic asked?

"Arizona robbins," She answered.

"How's my babies ," Arizona asked?

"your babies looks fine but your blood pressure's elevated," The paramedic said.

"my babies are fine, you can let me go," Arizona tried to sit up.

"I didn't say you where fine," She responded.

"no fair," Arizona tried to argue.

"life's not fair sweetheart," She said checking Arizona over.

"yeah she has a lac that needs stitching," The paramedic told to the other one.

"and you all can't do that," Arizona questioned?

"nope," The paramedic said as she closed the door. "alright take her to the nearest hospital."

"please don't be grey sloan," Arizona closed her eyes and crossed her fingers.

"38 year old women, bruising to the neck, possibly collarbone fracture, pregnant, and bruising to the abdomen ," The paramedic yelled as the door opened.

"Robbins," Deluca asked?

"I said don't send me to Grey Sloan," Arizona moved to sit up but couldn't.

"Wait I can't move, I think I have a broken neck," Arizona said.

"Page Neuro, and page ortho, and ob," Edwards told deluca.

"Don't worry Robbins we got you," Edwards told her as they brought here into trauma one.

"page Callie please," Arizona asked, as the adrenaline ran out and pain started the kick in.

"I will," Edward tried to calm her down.

"Tell her to hurry," Arizona cried.

"good news is this is only a c2 fracture and Doctor Phillips, fixed it she does have a nasty cut in the back of her head, I'm sending Jackson down here to take a look at it later. But for now she's ok, I want to run some more scans in the morning," Amelia said

"we want to motor her closesly just to make sure regains all her function," Dr Phillips said

"Amelia what do you mean," Callie asked standing in the corner of her baby's mother hospital room.

"when she came in she started to lose feeling in her foot and by the time we got into the or she started to lose feelings in her hands. But we are hopeful she'll make a full recovery," Amelia said.

"oh god," Callie cried turning to Arizona "im so sorry," She breathed

"she should be waking up," Amelia said.

"water," Arizona whispered

the nurse came over with a cup and a pitcher of water.

"thank you," Arizona said closing her eyes as the lights where to bright.

"so um in the accident you broke your c2 so you are at least we hope temporarily paralyzed," Amelia said

"sounds right quadriplegic sound like the next step," Arizona said with a cynical laugh.

"Arizona," Callie came to her side.

"what it's the truth, I lost my brother, I lost my leg, I lost my wife, now Im losing my ability to move," Arizona laughed.

"you are not," Callie said plainly.

"all right Amelia do what you gotta do," Arizona said like an angsty teen.

Amelia did a series of text making sure her brain was ok and that she could feel. She had gained back feeling in her leg, though she couldn't move it, and some feeling in her hands.

"alright you rest for me ok," Amelia said at the door

"it's not like I much else to do," Arizona chuckled.

"arizoma," Callie's breath hitched.

" just leave," Arizona said

"no you don't get to push me out," Callie said sitting in chair

"callie please just leave," Arizoma begged

"no," Callie said

"LEAVE NOW," Arizona yelled.

"nope," Callie said calmly taking out her phone.

"water," Arizona asked as she woke up from her nap.

Callie brought the straw up to her mouth. Staring at the women with a worried expression.

"I'm sorry about this," Arizona said talking about herself.

"You have nothing to be sorry for," Callie said

"I don't want Sofia to see me like this maybe when I'm back home you can bring her," Arizona blurted

"okay okay," Callie said smoothing the blanket that laid on Arizona.

"ok callie just ask me," Arizona said sick of the silence

"what," callie stopped what she was doing.

"you don't have to act confused I know that face so just ask," Arizona smirked.

Arizona be honest with me, where you trying to hurt yourself," Callie asked?

"not that you can't ask that," Arizona tried to turn away but the neck brace made it hard.

"please answer me you said I could ask," Callie faced her.

"not that you can't ask that," Arizona repeated closing her eyes

"open your eyes and answer me," Callie begged.

"Callie leave me alone," Arizona said, with her eyes open staring directly at her.

"Arizona I would but I need to know, because it isn't just you ,you are housing to two beautiful babies right now," Callie asked?

"shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up," Arizona repeated, getting louder with every word.

"please answer," Callie cried harder thinking she caused this

"oh so you only care since I'm having your babies," Arizona said trying to deflect.

"no Arizona, look I know you're not my biggest fan right now but please answer me," Callie begged.

"no okay I drive when I'm angry now it's a thing I do so I can have time to myself amd collect my thoughts so I'm not hurting feelings when I speak. But um their was split second where I forgot about everyone and everything and I wished for car to hit me ok," Arizona paused as she heard callie cry. "so I speed up but then I saw a car and I tried to hit my breaks but I hit a patch of black ice and I tried to break but then I stopped trying and I spun out of control and I finally hit the brakes and crash into a tree," Arizonacried explaining

"why, oh my god, why Arizona you have a kid," Callie cried pacing the room.

"you are better without me, you've managed to convice yourself you need me but you don't. I've never seen you as happy as you where went yo where with penny. So I didn't say that yesterday to be rude I said it cuz I meant it. And Sofia has an amazing mom and it's not to late to go to New York so she can have an amazing step mom. You know as I've gotten old I think I've lost my touch. You know you guys used to say I had had this touch when it came to Sofia well now it's gone. When you left it took me 45 minutes just to get her dressed she hates me," Arizona cried

"no she doesn't," Callie said standing over Arizona so she could she her.

"you don't now it," Arizona said

"ok I don't know it but I do know that when we lived apart all she would do was talk about mommy to penny so much so penny started to dislike you. I know Sofia loves drawing you pictures in daycare, right now she working on a collage, and I know I love you," Callie finished

"please get away from me," Arizona shut her eyes tight, with tears falling out at the side.

"Arizona please promise me you talk to me when you feel like this, or at least a therapist," Callie asked?

no answer came from her as red hot tears stained her face. Callie went to touch her hand.

"don't touch me I'm disgusting," Arizona sobbed, all her wrong doings came back to her with this on the top of the list.

"no you're not," Callie said.

Arizona didn't say anything back, and she just needed her to speak even if it meant arguing.

"arizona," Callie called, just as Arizona body started to seize. "Arizona she called out though she knew she couldn't answer. "Page Neuro," She turned looking at the nurses standing in the hallway.

"We got the bleeding under control but I the ob wants to talk about delivering the babies, because the stress on her body is to much to take care of two children," Amelia explained.

"no, I don't give a rats ass about what that ob said," Callie whispered yelled.

"call Addison Montgomery," Arizona mumbled.

"huh," Callie asked?

"call Addison, dr Suzuki is on maternity leave in Michigan, dr Mayweather is in Florida, dr Herman is blind, dr. Micheal is only a fellow, dr. Payne is on leave, and I can't do anything so call Addison," Arizona told them.

"you should be resting you just had another brain surgery," Callie said, to her.

"I know just call Addison please," Arizona closed her eyes.

"Looking at her charts, I think since her body as been through so much that we should put her in a medically induced coma," Addison said.

"wait, she just had a brain surgery for her traumatic brain injury she might not wake up Addie," Amelia said

"not to mention I still need to fix her heart," Maggie chimed in.

"I know I know," Addison paced around the attending lounge.

"what's the other options," Amelia asked, with her hands around the back of her neck.

"either i deliver and she died, or i deliver and the baby dies, or I don't and they both die, or I put her in a medically induced coma and out her in life support and after 6 weeks and while in the coma I give the baby medicine to strengthen her organs, and I a c section and then I we wake her up," Addison rambled as she paced.

"What do you think Callie will choose," Maggie asked sipping her coffee?

"I don't know but I know she wouldn't be able to handle losing the kids or arizona," Addison sighed.

"What's the rate of survival if she gave birth now," Callie asked holding arizonas hand?

"65-70," Addison responded.

"what about her," asked Callie as she stared at Arizona?

"60," Addison responded.

"what about if we wait," Callie asked?

"for the babies its 80 and Arizona it's a 30 percent chance she survives it," Addison said as a stray tear left her eye.

"and the coma, what the rate for her come back home," Callie cried.

"theirs a 75 percent chance she goes back home to you but the longer we wait the worst I get," Amelia said rocking on her feet.

"then do it, please," Callie told them, as she wiped tears from her eyes.

"Maggie will perform her heart surgery first, then she's be placed in a medically induced coma, we will monitor her brain function and the babies growth to determine when she can come off," Addison explained.

"okay," Callie mumbled.
