Dear diary...

WHAT THE *?!

Okay, today started okay...

Me and Jo talked things out a bit, and she grew close to me.

A motive...

Mono-Chris and Topher realized that we needed further motive to kill...

So they provided us with just that... Kill to get our memories back...

For me... kill to let me and Jo escape this place...

A tempting offer, I will admit...

Everything then went horribly wrong.

I found Priya. Dead. A piano dropped on her head. I heard Jo's screams, as I payed respects...

To say Marin was shocked was an understatement. They took a few steps back, hands on their mouth. They had never been exposed to a dead body before, and even though a part of them expected to see someone dying soon, they were not mentally prepared.

In the middle of Jo screaming her lungs out, the others joined them and saw Priya's dead body.

The body discovery announcement went off.

About a minute later, everyone was there. Mono-Chris showed up, happy that someone was murdered on time and announced the beginning of the investigation. He also told them the Chris files were available on their E-Handbooks.

The victim is Priya, a participant of TD2023. Cause of death is having her head crushed.

Jo examined Priya's body, by opening the Piano lid.

She concluded the Chris file was saying the truth, since the injuries looked fresh, and it was definitely not a mannequin nor a fake body.

Jo and Marin found rope and the bloodied piano and found out Millie was just getting a drink.

They found some tape and scissors.

Marin found themselves alone in the dining hall, not doing anything. They were jogging their knee under the table nervously, and biting the dead skin off their lips and just thinking thinking thinking when—

"Marin!"

They turned quickly at the voice and came face to face with Ripper.

They stood instantly, knocking his chair away and walking backwards. "Fuck off."

"You look cute..." Ripper said.

"Leave me alone," Marin begged, stumbling when their back hit the wall and falling onto their knees, hard.

"Ripper, what are you doing?!" Millie's voice yelled, "Oh, no, Marin breathe! Where's Jo?"

Everything was a blur after that. They vaguely recalled Jo telling them to breathe, and then there was an announcement telling them to go to the kitchen.

The next thing Marin remembered clearly was the Class Trial.

They were between Chase and Ripper.

No one really dared to say anything as Mono-Chris explained the rules.

Everyone seemed to show their nervousness differently.

They didn't really know where to start, so the obvious was to talk about the murder weapon. It was the piano.

Then people started to accuse Jo of the act.

"What?!" Marin asked, not appreciating the implication of their friend being a murderer.

"She took a poo!" Ripper said.

"It's fine... What about we stop talking about this and move on to something else?" Jo asked.

"Come on, the smell wasn't that strong! Jo can ask me if she wants to be farted on by yours truly!" Ripper smirked.

"I-I said it's fine!" Jo was embarrassed.

They then had to figure out that the blackened drugged Jo with a laxative.

But as everyone started debating on if Jo was the blackened, Marin sighed. "It looks like we're split in two…"

"… Split!? Did you just say split!?"

The group turned to Mono-Chris once again, who presented the "morphenomenal trial grounds" as he puts it.

Is Jo the killer?

Yes she isn't vs No she isn't

They decided Jo was innocent. After that the podiums slowly got back to normal.

After that, everyone was just trying to figure out who killed Priya because she was so sweet, she was so nice—

Then one piece of evidence - the murder weapon being a piano - tied the whole investigation to Millie. It was over pretty quickly after that as Marin and Jo revealed that only Millie would've been in the music room at the time.

Jo then asked Marin to cover the case one more time, and Marin agreed: "Let's take this from the top!"

Closing argument

"So the killer went into the music room with Priya. The killer then drugged Jo so she had pooped, and they got tape and a rope and a scissors. They hung the piano up, and got Priya to stand on the tape. And then it was all over. Priya was crushed and dead, and the killer faked an alibi and framed Jo. Or so we thought."

Marin looked at a grey figure who had terror on their face, before pointing at it.

"You murdered Priya and tried to pin the blame on Jo!" They smirked as the figure was revealed to be Millie.

"The jig is up, Millie!"

Marin had just summed up what happened to cause Millie to kill Priya. But there was a nagging feeling in the back of Jo's head, as the vote condemned Millie, that they were wrong.

Although as the verdict wheel landed on Millie's face, Mono-Chris said they were right, Jo didn't feel quite right.

The perky, friendly Millie had killed.

Why? Because she was forced to...

As Millie said, Priya summoned her to the music room. Intending to kill.

With a syringe literally nobody had found during the investigation, Millie had knocked Priya out cold. Before dropping the piano on the head in a fit of panic.

Then Mono-Chris announced the execution.

Millie spent her last words kicking and screaming, begging for mercy and yelling that it wasn't her, that she didn't kill Priya.

The television screen above flickered back to life.

GAME OVER

A pixel version of Mono-Chris marched over to a pixel version of Millie, then dragged her off-screen by the hair.

MILLIE HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY. TIME FOR THE PUNISHMENT!

(Execution Music: LINK HERE)

As hazard alarms started to blare, the students backed away from Millie.

Jo and Marin managed to reach Millie's side, both of them grabbing her arms. A large claw shot out of a door, wrapping around the girl's waist, pulling him out of their grasp, sending her through a glass tube. The girl screamed in fear, as she was pulled through the tube and into another room.

The screen then turned on, showing Millie's demise for all to see.

As dance music started to blare, a neon sign came down from the ceiling, reading, 'Execution: Millie's last song'

A guitar was there with no strings. Millie was thrown messily into it and several new metal straps reached out to secure her to the guitar in a spread eagle fashion across her arms, upper torso, legs, and ankles.

A metal hand then pulled her hair upwards, and a metal strap fastened the top of it to the guitar.

Mono-Chris, dressed as a rockstar, green appeared and started to play the guitar.

At first he was gentle, using her hair gently, but then he began to roughly pull at the strings.

a loud electric guitar riff then played. The source was the guitar Millie was strapped to.

Mind you, since this was being recorded live, the contestants could hear what was going on in the room.

Then Mono-Chris started to play off-key, and the crowd becomes downright angry. They start pelting him with items- at first, drinks and fruit, but then larger and more dangerous items. Eventually, all the crowd is throwing stones at him. Mono-Chris played. Faster and faster and faster until…

A horrible crunch and a wet scraping noise was heard.

The music stopped.

And Millie's scalp was ripped clean off.

Mono-Chris kept playing the guitar for a second. Blood and brains sprayed everywhere.

The crowd booed, and Mono-Chris threw the guitar into a shredder.

God, the guitar being shredded. It was like watching someone jump into a wood chipper.

After a few seconds, it was over. A bunch of sawdust and blood came out. In the middle of the pile… was not Millie, but rather, a doll of her, complete with no hair. There was a large indent where her scalp should have been. From beneath the seams of the doll, a tinge of blood seeped out.

Mono-Chris then stormed off in a fit of rage as the monitor switched off.

"That was exciting! A musical beginning to our inn life! I loved that." Mono-Chris laughed.

"Me too! Great choice, Mono-Chris!" said Topher. "That was so fun!"

"No it was not!" Caleb snapped. "How the fuck could anyone find that exciting, let alone fun?"

Emotions ran high. Ripper, Chase, and Emma were in tears. Bowie, MK, Zee, Damien and Nichelle had vomited while Axel and Jo were barely holding on.

"Even I'm not a big fan of that…" Scary Girl said uncharacteristically soberly. "That was in bad taste, Chris."

"Wow, even the insane girl thinks ill of me for that one! Guess I did a pretty good job, didn't I?" Mono-Chris laughed again.

Everyone else, including well, Marin themselves, were just scared.

What is happening anymore?!
