Stationed on the border between the Winterlands and the Brightlands was a village called Healeaks. Why the Shining Hope Squad didn't notice this village on their way to Winterbloom was unknown to them a the time, but when Castti lead them to its exact location, everything started to become apparent.

"So this is Healeaks…" Nu said as they took a look around, noticing that Healeaks did not have any people living there. Nothing was there except for growing plant life and the sight of empty, and sometimes run down buildings.

"No wonder we didn't see this village before. It's like a ghost town. Did something happen here?" Glimmer asked.

"Something did… something bad." Castti said. "I can feel it… I'm really close to remembering everything. If only there was some way I could." Castti said.

"There has to be something that can trigger the relapse of your memories. Maybe like a specific word or object or something." Bow said.

"Maybe so, but I have no idea who or what it might be." Castti said.

Then to no one but Castti's eyes did Malaya appear.

"You came, Castti." Malaya said.

"Malaya!" Castti said.

"Malaya? Oh, the hallucinating woman that only you can see!" Entrapta said.

"What were you doing here?" Castti asked.

"You're asking the wrong question. You should instead be asking 'what happened here?'" Malaya said. "Does the word 'santanejo' mean anything to you? It was a flower of great importance to Eir's Apothecaries."

"Santanejo…" Castti said before recalling a flashback of her and Trousseau picking flowers as she held her head in pain.

"Good, Castti. It's finally time to remember. I'll even lend a hand. Then from there, your new friends can handle the rest." Malaya said.

Castti then inquired information of Malaya, the critical point that made everything come back to her at once.

Castti now recalls searching for Santanejo Blossoms with another member of Eir's Apothecaries. This memory comes from a time when the band worked together to save peoples lives.

And it was two years ago where it all began. Castti and her fellow apothecaries, Malaya, Elma, Andy, Randy, and Trousseau were helping the wounded in Healeaks. Life was peaceful in the small town, but that peace was then shattered when tragedy struck. A strange purple rain poured down over the village and from it a mysterious illness struck over the villagers. Castti, Malaya, Andy, and Randy went to investigate a cloud of smoke forming from a cliffside, there they saw a purple fire and the one who formed it was….

"Yes… I remember now!" Castti said.

"Castti, you good?" Hope asked.

"It's all coming back to me… everything that happened before I lost my memories." Castti said. "The purple rain I saw… it wasn't natural. It was caused. What's more, it's incredibly dangerous."

"How so?" Ichiro asked.

"The rain is toxic. It's caused by a purple bonfire, and its black smoke causes the clouds to rain poison. The slightest exposure to the skin is very fatal. And the one who caused it was…Trousseau." Castti said. "The brightest and gentlest of us, let his pure light be consumed by darkness. Andy and Randy sacrificed themselves to stop the fire, and shortly after I was exposed to it. All of the villagers have died and I couldn't save one life."

"Wait, back up.. Trousseau caused the toxic rain?" Scorpia asked.

"Yes. An encounter with a certain man tainted his heart, and drove him mad, believing the rain was salvation. His entire view on our creed was twisted. He thought causing death was saving them from their suffering. He was no longer the kind young man I knew." Castti said.

"So what happened after Trousseau lost it and caused that poison rain? How did you end up like we found you?"

"While we were escaping from the toxic downpour, the poison began taking its toll on me, and Malaya cured me while sacrificing herself to ensure I could escape." Castti said before looking in her bag and found a flower inside. "She put this in my satchel before setting me out to sea. A snowdrop, with the power to cure the effects of the poison rain."

"I bet if we mix it with other ingredients, maybe we can find a cure for it."

"I-It could be possible… but, what about Trousseau? He causes the rain, and we can't just let him kill a town like this." Mikan said.

"Mikan's right. Castti, I know you're an apothecary by trade, and that you've never taken a life before… but if Trousseau really has been corrupted beyond saving, we have to stop him. By force, if I'm allowed to admit it." Hope said.

"Malaya and the others saved my life. Now it's our turn. Don't worry, Hope. I know what must be done. We will stop Trousseau." Castti said.

"That's nice and all, but we have no idea where he is, and Solistia's gigantic.' Mermista said.

"Mermista's right. We have no way of knowing what town or city he'll target next." Ichiro said.

"He's going to Timberain." Castti said.

"Wait, you know his next target?" Akane asked.

"He mentioned it before escaping. It's a kingdom far to the west continent, and many people will gather there for the coronation." Castti said.

"Crap… if Trousseau causes a toxic deluge there, a lotta people are gonna die!" Akane said. "We gotta hurry and get there before he brings the rain!"

"Castti, do you know which region in the Western Continent Timberain is in?" Hope asked.

"It's in the Leaflands. Quickly, we must commandeer your ship and sail westwards, there isn't much time." Castti siad.

"Right!" Gemini said.

"Oh, and everyone?" Castti asked. "Thank you for helping me remember who I was. My group's creed is to extend a helping hand to all those who need it. All of you truly follow that creed to a passion, even thought you're not apothecaries."

"I'm just glad were here to help you, Castti." Hope said. "It seems kinda poetic that I always get paired up with people who just want to help others. Maybe the story sage was right back then… maybe the cards do pick you. Or maybe it's a higher calling…"

"Hope?" Castti asked.

"Ah, nevermind me, I'm just speaking out loud." Hope said.

"Indeed. We have important matters to attend to. Shall we venture to Timberain and stop Trousseau?" Sonia asked.

"Yes. Let's." Castti said as they headed off with haste.

It's all come crashing back to Castti. Joyous days spent with dear friends…and the horrible tragedy that befell them. The murderous Trousseau has revealed where he will strike next: Timberain. That's where his rain will fall. Their purpose clear, Castti and the Shining Hope Squad put the ruined village behind them. They must stop the former apothecary before he commits yet another heinous crime.
