"I don't like it. Not one bit!"

Garmadon looked at the invitation. The glistening gold highlights implied that both he and his friends would be treated like royalty upon their arrival to Borg Tower. But such an unprompted invitation drew suspicion from Garmadon, who had been shown the letter from Wu. "This all seems too perfect. Why does he wish to see The Ninja now, after he single-handedly converted all of Ninjago into a technological state without even considering our input?"

Wu stroked his beard. "I'm afraid we have no say in that now, brother. I understand if you do not wish to go with us. All I ask is that you ask Harumi if she wishes too."

Garmadon looked down at the ground in regret. Knowing what he had done. "She's… grounded for the time being."

"Grounded? Whatever for?" Wu asked, light concern growing.

"Long story. I'll tell you some other time, if that's alright."

"Regardless, if this is as suspicious as we believe, it'd be good to have all the help we can get. Besides, Cyrus Borg asked specifically for all five ninja, including Harumi."

"Oh alright. But don't count on her saying yes." Garmadon said, hanging up, leaving the dining room and making his way to Harumi's room. It had not been that long since he had grounded her for her outburst in his car. He wanted to somehow figure out how to curb her mindset back into place, but he was afraid of losing her for good. Regardless, he knocked on her door.

"Mom? Is that you?" Harumi said, looking back to the door from her balcony.

"It's me, Harumi. May I come in?"

"Oh.. Hey dad. Yea you can come in."

Garmadon opened the door. Looking around, he saw Harumi hadnt done much. Her coloring supplies appeared to be in disarray. And he swore one of her pictures was mysteriously missing. Shrugging that aside, he sat on her bed. "How are you feeling?"

"Better than before. No thanks to you." She turned away from her father once more, crossing her arms.

"Harumi, we've been over this. Besides, I have good news!"

"Yea?"

"Cyrus Borg has invited you and The Ninja to Borg Tower for a special tour. He wants to meet each and every one of you!"

"Woah! Wait- so i'm not grounded anymore?"

Garmadon sighed. He couldn't say no to her, not for that long. "No, no. So you want to go?"

"Of course! Are you coming?"

"Sadly, no. I've had my fair share of issues with Cyrus Borg. And while he did offer a tour to Wu's class, I'd rather not piggyback off of the offer. Perhaps another time."

Harumi nodded, picking up her shoes, putting them on, and running to the car. While she wasnt that big into technology, she was glad to spend time with The Ninja. Most of them at least. While Kai was still cold to her, Nya and Jay were often sibling figures in her life, while Cole and Zane were a symbol of inspiration. She hopped into the car, as Garmadon drove her to Wu's academy.

School was still in session, but Harumi was able to get through to the front office. She waved goodbye to her father, and walked inside. As she heard children laughing, she ran into one of the classrooms, and to her surprise, found Zane standing upon one of the desks, rapidly moving in glitchy succession.

"Hey! W-what's wrong with him!? What did you do!?"

A random student appeared next to them. "The remote controller is messing with his circuitry! Isn't it awesome?"

Harumi frowned, snatching the remote, and pulling the batteries out. "No no no! You have more respect for him!"

All of the students booed the action, as Zane sputtered back to normal. "Agh… Thank you Harumi. Now! All of you! Sit back down and get back to work. Time does not march if the cogwheel within the clock has stopped!"

"I thought class would be out today given the tour. Have you guys not left yet?"

Zane turned his head in confusion. "I was not aware of any tour. Where are we supposed to have been going?"

"Borg Tower! Has Wu not-" But before Harumi could finish, the students all rose from their exhausted state in excitement. They'd kill for the chance to visit Borg Tower. As soon as their excitement rose back up, The Ninja and Nya ran in.

"Alright, what's been going on? And why is SHE here?" Kai said, angrily eyeing Harumi from behind.

"I don't know. Something about a field trip of some kind. Does Master Wu have anything scheduled for today?" Zane said, not wanting to dwell upon Kais first question.\

"No idea. Still. Someone needs to drive her back to Garmadons. I'm not-" Kai turned, only to see Master Wu walk up from behind them.

"Harumi is here to join us on a tour to Borg Tower. Cyrus Borg himself has given us a formal invitation. He is very keen on meeting you five. Me and Nya will accompany the children on the rest of the tour." Wu said, stamping his stick on the ground.

"Borg Towers? But nobody gets into there without being some rich tech tycoon! What does he want with us?" Cole asked, eyeing the letter Wu held regarding the visit.

"I am unsure. We will have to see when we get there." Wu said, leading the students out of the school, and into their bus. It was outdated, having been a vehicle from before the technological revolution, but nobody concerned with such matters was aware. The Ninja all piled in the seats, while Nya sat next to Harumi. Nya was Harumi's favorite, even if she wasn't a ninja.

"Hey. Heard you got grounded yesterday. What happened?" Nya asked compassionately, looking down at Harumi, who was staring out the window.

"Just my dad being stupid. He got mad when I said I was mad that The Ninja couldn't save my parents. And that Lord Garmadon saved a lot of people."

Nya nodded. "Yea.. He's been really hung up on the whole 'turning evil' thing. Still, I see where you're coming from."

"And what if it happens again?"

"I'm not sure. Lloyd and The Ninja destroyed The Overlord, The Serpentine disappeared, and The Stone Army was lost along with The Overlord. I'm not sure if there's anyone left that could pose a threat to Ninjago anymore."

"But if there is, how many people do you think they'd be able to save if they continue to laze about? Ninjagos full of power. Everywhere we go, we find more of it. Get enough, you can stop threats before they happen."

"I Guess. But a pursuit of nothing but power, even for good, does something to people. What if The Ninja stopped caring about people after they had achieved as much power as possible?"

"They wont- er- wouldnt. And if they did, there would be people to replace them for sure. Its all a matter of finding the right person to hand it to."

"Well, with Ninjago becoming so focused on technology, maybe some new threat will just pop out of thin air?"

"I can't say any of us would be pretty surprised. I only hope everyones actually ready for it."

"Yea. Still, listen. I know things have been hard for you lately, especially when Kais is around, but just know I'm on your side 100%. Okay Harumi?"

"Yea." Harumi smiled. She was glad Nya could derive some kind of message out of her philosophy. Wu would have objected, had he not been driving. After the bus failed to park in the correct spot, and a security robot dealt with their OAD vehicle, the group made their way inside of Borg Tower. The magnificent lobby was lined with panels and electronics, as two elevators sat parallel to each other in front of them. As they walked inside, a robot walked over to them, greeting them, and introducing themselves as P.I.X.A.L. She took special interest in Zane, much to Harumi's curiosity.

"What's this thing?" Harumi asked.

"Oh oh oh! It's one of the new interactive AIs Borg is making!" Jay said with excitement. "What id do to get my hands on one of those!"

"Please save questions and/or comments untill the begining of the tour." Said the metallic female, as she turned back to Zane in a stiff, lifeless movement. "You are Zane. A droid like me. Tell me, what does 'Zane' stand for?"

Zane, flustered at the sight of the welcoming robot, stuttered over his words. "I stand for peace- freedom- and-"

"She means your name, tinhead!" Jay joked. Harumi shook her head.

"Not all robots have acronyms as names you know, if you knew who Zane was, wouldn't you have known that?" She said, picking apart P.I.X.A.L.S facade. However, she was too clever to give herself away that early. She knew she would be deconstructed if she wasn't able to retrieve Zanes blueprints.

"You needn't be so inquisitive, young child. You are Harumi. The Second Green Ninja. Your origins are shadowed, and your skill is yet to be determined. What do you have to offer Ninjago?"

Harumi was caught off guard, and said the first thing that came to mind. "Perspective, I guess?-"

"Fascinating." P.I.X.A.L said, turning back to Zane. "Permission to scan?"

"Yes?"

P.I.X.E.L scanned Zane, locating his data, and deriving as many secrets from her scan as possible. The Overlord will be well pleased. "Your processor is outdated and incompatible with ours. I am also unable to locate your power source. What powers you?"

"I- Don't know-" Zane said, mesmerized by the way she spoke. Jay was holding himself together, trying not to laugh.

"Oooh! Zane has an admirer!" He said, as Wu looked at his watch.

"It's best you go see Cyrus Borg now. Me and Nya will continue on with the rest of the tour." Wu said, as he, Nya, and P.I.X.A.L started walking away. Harumi gave Nya a wave as she left, which Nya returned. The five of them entered the elevator.

In the elevator up, Kai was avoiding eye contact with Harumi. Cole was the only one to notice, as Jay and Zane were amiring the view.

"Knock it off will you Kai? Sensei told us to be patient with her." Cole said, turning his head to kai, who had since turned around and was looking at the opposite window.

"I admit I warmed up to her a bit. But I still-"

"Its been a year. I miss Lloyd too, but if your still that focused, maybe you shouldnt have come on this mission with us."

"Oh come on. Dont give me that bullshit. Sensei may have prevented us from saying anything negative to her, but if shes this sheltered, how is she gonna be ready for anything that comes our way?"

Cole pondered a response, which was dropped when the elevator made its way up to the office of Cyrus Borg, the CEO of Borg enterprises. Borg himself came to greet them, making his way to the door as it swung open.

"Ah! I was beginning to wonder when you five would show up! Eh- please. Make yourselves at home. I'd have cooked something for you all, but I hadn't the time." The eccentric CEO said, as he rolled his wheelchair further into the room. Zane was the most amazed, as he walked next to Borg. Harumi looked around, peering at the various computers and cameras. Wait… She thought, looking back to the camera. Strangely, it had a red dot under the lens, as opposed to the green ones.

"Mr, Borg, what does the red dot under the camera mean?"

"Eh- that? Er- that just means someones watching the feed! I wouldn't worry about it. Nothing to concern you four with."

"What's that supposed to mean? Got something to hide?" Kai said, looking at Cyrus Borg with curiosity. Borg was a perplexing man, almost as perplexing as the tech he made, and the robots he programmed. He had an odd look about him, as every five seconds, he would briefly gaze into the red-dotted-cameras lens, with a look of both grimm anticipation, and fear.

"O-of course not! I simply wanted to give you a gift in honor of your sacrifices for Ninjago. I wished Lloyd could've been here to witness this, but- good thing we have you around Hammurabi!"

"It's Harumi sir. But Kais is right. Why are you so nervous?" Harumi said, peering back at the camera, which had sense turned away, as if to ease the suspicion that was directed to it.

"Heh! What an imagination." He said, taking one last look at the camera, before rolling closer to Harumi and whispering something into her ear. "He's watching us- look inside the gift- I can't explain any-" He looked back, and saw the camera lens pierce into his eyes. He quickly rolled his wheelchair away from Harumi.

"I- in any case, I present to you my gift!" He said, taking a giant cloth off of the gift. It was a giant electronic statue of himself, coated in gold paint. He wouldn't have used real gold if he wanted it to be easy to destroy. The four ninja were generally unimpressed with Borg's gift, hauling it into the elevator. As it departed, one of the moniters switched on. "O-oh dear. Not now!"

A cracked, ominous voice appeared as the white screen turned into a mix of red and purples. Like a massive vortex with two eyes, staring into the soul of the poor inventor. "I have full access over your cameras Borg. You havent planned on betraying me so soon, have you?"

"Of course not! Not after all youve done for me! Having sortve eh- hiding in my property and allowng yourself to get into the digital prison, which frankly- doesnt really benifit me whatsoever, I wouldnt dream of it!"

"For your sake, I hope your words are true… Still. We got what we wanted from them. Your assistant reported in that they got the robotic ones informatiom. Once we trigger security and capture those vermin, we will have enough information to track down The Ninja."

"But- I thought your plan was to capture the young child now, to try and adsorb any potential golden energy?" Borg said, nervously looking back at the elevator.

"Lloyd Garmadon was a fool to sacrifice himself. If only his allies had warned him his powers would resurface. Still, I know for a fact that if that girl does share all of his powers, she will attempt to unlock her golden energy upon discovering my existence. I will not reveal myself yet. Play this off like a simple security breach."

"Y- you said you wouldnt be altering the plan!"

The Overlord, from within The Digital Realm, would growl. "I am altering the plan as I see fit. Pray I dont alter you in any way. Youd make a far greater servant if I robotisized your useless face!"

"Right! Heheh… Right." Borg said nervously, rolling over to the window. "So- if you cant use the girls possible golden energy to revive yourself, what do you intend on doing? I-if I might ask-"

"I have other means.. The Golden Weapons still remain on that comet in space. Perhaps they could provide an alternative source of creation. Still, the rest of this is unchanged. I will trigger factory security, and capture as many people as possible."

Borg sighed. "Yes sir."

The Overlord grew silent for a second. Borg looked with concern over at him. "M-my lord?"

"The boy.. The child of Garmadon. I can still feel his presense. Deep within my soul, it pierces my heart. Though his spirit remains in The Departed Realm, and his body was reduced to ashes. I fear that somehow, someway, he will return to foil me once again."

Meanwhile, back in the elevator The five of them all started debating over its use, Harumi bringing up the odd thing Borg told her. "He told us 'He' was watching, and that something was inside the gift."

"Strange that he wouldn't feel comfortable warning us within the safety of his own office." Zane observed. "Nevertheless, I wonder who 'He' is?"

"Only one way to find out." Kai said, using a ball of fire to break the statue in half, as various weapons and ninja outfits spilled out.

"Jeez Kai! I could have just broken it open myself. You could have burned this stuff!" Cole said, eyeing the outfits. "Why would he give us new outfits anyways?"

"Maybe there's something else going on." Harumi said, looking at the outfits. She picked hers up, admiring the work that went into it. Obviously she would outgrow it eventually given her current size, but it was a beautiful array of darker greens with some white highlights. She put it on, picking up one of the blades. "Five outfits, four weapons. Strange."

Before anyone else could make any more observations, they heard the elevator's automated security go off, as a voice rang through the discussion. "Technoblades detected. Please disarm immediately."

"Just great. We need to get these things out of-" Harumi said, being cut off by Kai.

"Who put you in charge?"

"Now isn't the time for this. Look, if you want me gone that bad, I'll go down and make sure Wu and Nya aren't facing any trouble. If not, then to at least warn them. You try to get as far away from this place as possible."

"Statistically, these 'Technoblades' would have a higher chance of survival if all of us protect-" Zane was also cut off, this time by the elevator, as it rapidly dropped to the ground.

"There's no time! I'll meet you guys outside!" Harumi said, using a small burst of concentrated energy to break the elevator windows, as she and The Ninja jumped out. Harumi used her small frame to crawl back into the facility, ending up at the factory floor where the rest of them were. She managed her way out just in time to hear P.I.X.A.L speak.

"This will be the end of your tour."

(I am again sorry for the lack of progress on this story. I will try and have either another chapter, or something else up tomorrow to make up for it. Either way, thank you for reading!)
