The next day, I got up, got dressed, and headed to school. My dad decided to stay home and relax since my aunt decided to make a big stink about what happened and blamed my dad. I'm not too happy about it but my dad said to leave it be. I went to school and when it was time, the others headed to the beach, while I headed back home. As soon as I walked in the door, my dad's phone started to ring. I grabbed it before he could and wasn't too surprised to see my aunt's name.
"What do you want?" I asked as I answered.
"You better watch that mouth of yours, little girl. Where is your father?" my aunt asked.
"He's busy, so you can talk to me. I know about everything that you've said and the lies stop now. My dad has nothing to do with my decision to stay here. Just because you're desperate to raise children again, doesn't give you the right to try to rip a child from their parents." I replied.
"I haven't told any lies, sweetie. Everyone in the family knows that your dad is the one making you stay. If you would come to visit more than once in a blue moon, then you would see our point of view." my aunt said.
"That's rich. None of you came around when my mom died, so why would I come around? I decide if I want to stay or go. My dad just stands by my decision. Maybe you and the rest of the family need to get heads out of your butts, and then maybe all of you would see my point of view." I said.
My aunt was quiet for a few minutes before hanging up. I figured she would do that because she can't handle the truth. She wants another kid so bad that she's willing to destroy a family to do it. I glanced at my dad waiting for him to yell at me, but I found him smiling.
"Thank you." my dad said.
"For what?" I asked confused.
"For everything that you said." my dad replied.
"My pleasure. She needed to hear the truth. She'll learn the hard way if she tries that crap again. And boy it feels good to finally put her in her place." I said.
My dad laughed and I joined him. I got my dad to go hang with his friends, so that way he could have fun. I headed to my room, changed clothes, and logged into my computer.
"What in the world is that thing?" I asked Zordon and Alpha as I saw what looked like a cocoon.
"Ai yi yi! Zordon, the power rangers are in trouble and we can't get through." Alpha said, and that answered my question.
"They will be brave and clever and break the cocoon. Meanwhile, we must contact Tommy." Zordon said.
Alpha kept trying to get Tommy to answer, but it was no use.
"Ai yi yi! Zordon, Tommy's not answering." Alpha said.
"You must keep trying, Alpha 5." Zordon said.
All of a sudden, the rangers started breaking through the cocoon.
"They're breaking through the cocoon. Ai yi yi!" Alpha said.
"Teleport them to their zords as soon as they escape, Alpha 5. Warn the rangers, Goldar has sent down Babe Rithless, the baseball monster." Zordon said.
Alpha did just that and I kept trying to reach Tommy.
"Zordon, what's happening?" Tommy asked.
"The rangers need your help. They're at the industrial complex in downtown Angel Grove. Hurry!" I replied.
"I'm on it." Tommy said.
Tommy soon joined the others and they defeated the monster, before having to go battle Scorpina. They defeated her and her monster and I was super happy. I joined them at the Youth Center.
"So how was the beach, guys?" Ernie asked.
"Well, it wasn't exactly relaxing, Ernie." Billy replied.
And on the local front, those amazing heroes, the power rangers have once again successfully defeated another attack on the city of Angel Grove by Rita Repulsa and her seemingly endless horde of monstrous. While the city sustained some property damage, no harm befell any of the citizens. Thanks to the incredible power rangers.
We heard the news anchorman say about what happened. If only he knew.
"Wow! Great stuff. You've got to love the power rangers." Ernie said.
"Tommy, when are we going to see your commercial?" Kimberly asked.
"I can hardly wait myself. I got the part, you know." Bulk said as he and Skull joined us.
"Oh, really?" Tommy and I asked together.
We glanced at each other and started laughing. That's a first for us.
I say, folks, have you ever tried karate? You might think you could learn this intricate art on your own, but you could end up looking like this. Just a bundle of blubbering blubber. (The commercial showed Bulk trying to do karate, but he made himself look like a fool) Miserable, huh? But if you sign up for classes at the Angel Grove Karate Center, you could look like this. (The commercial then showed Tommy showing how karate should be done) Come in today and learn how to master karate at the Angel Grove Karate Center.
All of us congratulated Tommy and laughed as Bulk shoved Skull out the door. I still can't figure out why Bulk thinks he can do anything that any of us can do. Maybe he'll figure it out soon, so he doesn't have to embarrass himself time and time again.
