"I don't believe this! Rita has linked my powers to a candle?" Tommy questioned.
"Yes, and if the flame should burn out while in her possession, you'll be stripped of those powers and they'll belong to Rita forever." Zordon replied.
"Zordon, isn't there anything we can do?" Kimberly asked.
"Someone must journey into Rita's dark dimension and get the candle before it burns out." Zordon replied.
"So how do I get there?" Tommy asked.
"You don't. Your presence will only accelerate Rita's spell. Another ranger must go." Zordon replied.
"I'll go." Jason said.
I took a breath because I knew that it had to be him because he's the only one that has been.
"Forget it. No way." Tommy said.
"Look, it makes sense. I'm the only other ranger who has ever been there." Jason said.
"It's way too dangerous." Tommy said.
"It's your only chance, Tommy." I said.
I don't want Jason to go either, but I also know that he'll do anything to help Tommy.
"No. There's no way I'm going to risk something happening to Jason because of me." Tommy said while glancing at me.
"Look, Tommy, you're one of us. You're a power ranger, man. I'm not going to stand by and watch us lose a team mate." Jason said.
"Jason speaks for all of us, Tommy." Trini said.
"Yeah." Zack said.
"Thanks, man." Tommy said.
"Zordon, I've found it." Alpha said.
"Found what?" Tommy asked.
"The molecular energy patterns left by the putties." Alpha replied.
"What is he talking about?" Zack asked.
"Alpha's found the doorway to Rita's dark dimension." Billy replied.
"Ah! They're ready." Billy said.
"Ai yi yi! I sure hope this works, Billy." Alpha said.
"What are these things?" Kimberly asked.
"Molecular decoders. You see, Alpha found traces of the putties molecular patterns in the park." Billy replied.
"Oh, from they took Tommy?" I asked.
"Affirmative. And since the putties teleported from the park to Rita's dark dimension, we'll be able to follow the same path with these." Billy replied.
"Molecular decoders." Kimberly said.
"Exactly." Billy said.
"Got it." Kimberly said.
"Everyone, ready to telepot?" Jason asked.
"Yep, we're all set." Trini replied.
"Alright, we're out of here." Zack said.
Tommy and Kimberly had their moment and I just gave Jason a hug. I told him to please be careful because of what happened last time. Jason told me that he would be extra careful. I joined Tommy and we watched as our friends went to set up for Jason to go get the candle.
"The portal will appear almost immediately once the decoders are activated." Alpha said.
"Man, I just feel bad that I'm not with them." Tommy said.
"Tommy, you must trust in your friends." Zordon said.
"I do, Zordon. If Jason can get into the other dimension, I just know he'll get that candle for me." Tommy said.
"Ai yi yi! Red alert!" Alpha said as the alarm sounded.
"What's happened?" I asked.
"There's been an attack on the city of Angel Grove. Engage the Viewing Globe." Zordon replied.
"It's Dragonzord in battle mode." I said.
"But how, all the zords are on standby." Tommy said.
"No doubt it's Rita's cyclops monster posing as Dragonzord. And assuming Dragonzord's power." Zordon said.
"Shall I contact the rangers?" I asked.
"That is what Rita hopes we will do, so that while the rangers are occupied, the green candle will burn down." Zordon said.
"Then let me take him on, Zordon." Tommy said.
"But you'll be all alone against him, Tommy." Zordon.
"Give me this chance. I can handle him." Tommy said.
"Very well then, let the power protect you." Zordon said.
Tommy then morphed and went to battle. I hope he's going to be alright because I know that the others will never forgive themselves if something happened to him.
"Zordon, I'm going in." Jason told us.
"Good luck, Jason and may the power protect you." Zordon said.
Alpha glanced at the Viewing Globe and saw that Tommy was in trouble.
"The green rangers in trouble, Zordon." Alpha said.
"We cannot hold off any longer. I must send the other rangers to help him." Zordon said.
"But, what about the green candle? Ai yi yi!" Alpha said.
Zack went and brought Jason back. I can tell by the look on his face that he's mad at himself for not getting the candle, but I would rather Tommy lose his powers than lose his life. The rangers won and came back to the Command Center.
"I'm going back in after the candle." Jason said.
"I'm afraid it's too late rangers. The candle has been extinguished." Zordon said.
"What?" Kimberly asked.
"Then Rita's won?" Tommy asked.
"Aiyi yi!" Alpha said.
"There is only one way to stop the transference of power now. Green ranger must give up his power coin." Zordon replied.
"No way! He can't just give up." Kimberly said.
"There's no other choice, Kim." Tommy said.
"By giving his coin to another ranger, Tommy can prevent Rita from gaining its power. It is the only way." Zordon said.
I watched everything unfold and I felt so bad for Tommy. When we left the Command Center, Kimberly asked if I would go with her to see Tommy. I told her I would and stood back as she talked to Tommy. I watched as they kissed and I squealed in happiness. Tommy was shocked to see me but I couldn't help it. I ran to them and gave them a hug. We all laughed and I hope that they will finally be a couple.
