The song mentioned in this chapter is I Don't Want To Change You by Damien Rice

Rosalie checked her watch again as she sat impatiently in a nice chair in the waiting room at the address Bella had given her. She was somewhat surprised when she found out Bella had wanted to meet at a record studio but figured Bella was probably working. Rosalie had been following Bella on twitter all day and it seemed her mate was making the rounds with the various people who had helped with the treasure hunt. Rosalie was the current highest bidder on the auction for the suit Bella whore the night before that was being sold to raise money for the Seattle Police department emergency fund. Rosalie didn't care how much she had to pay she was going to be the owner of that suit. It was to bad Bella had given the hat away but having the rest of the suit was just as good. Hopefully Bella's suit wasn't the only item of clothing she would have of her mate's but Rosalie figured they had to at least talk before she began stealing Bella's things.

"Rosalie?" A man in a suit asked.

"I'm Rosalie." Rosalie confirmed.

"If you would follow me." The man motioned for Rosalie to walk with him. "Mr. Swan sent me to escort you to the studio Ms. Swan is recording in."

"Thank you." Rosalie followed the man until he stopped at a door and knocked.

"Hey, Rosalie you made." Sebastian greeted as soon as the door opened.

Rosalie was somewhat surprised by the bright smile Sebastian gave her. That surprise turned into disbelief when he pulled her into a hug. "It's good to see you."

"You too, mom is so excited that you are here. She just has to finish up some things first." Sebastian told her.

Rosalie looked at Sebastian in shock. "Mom?"

"Oh I mean Bella." Sebastian looked away. He wasn't supposed to tell Rosalie anything but it was hard when he felt like he knew her already.

"Bella is your mom?" Rosalie asked. She wasn't sure what she was feeling but under the shock she thought she felt the beginning of betrayal.

"I'll let her explain that. Why don't you come in and meet the rest of the crew." Sebastian said. He motioned to the two other people in the room that were sitting in front of a mixing board. "This is Matt and Damion. They are helping produce some of Bella's songs for her next album."

"Nice to meet you." Rosalie received two head nods of acknowledgment in reply. Looking around she noticed that there was a large glass wall and on the other side of it was a room where Bella was sitting wearing headphones in front of a microphone. She waved to Rosalie who waved back and spoke.

"Let's go through it one more time. I know we probably have it down but I want to make sure." Bella said.

"Got it Bella." Matt pushed a button and music started to play.

Rosalie turned her attention to Bella and listened as she sang. She found herself smiling as she listened to the words and had no doubt that the song was about her. The part about the manger was more than obvious. The first time they made love was in the horse stables on Bella's family's estate. Well what she assumed was Bella's family's estate. That was another question she had for Bella. When Rosalie enquired about Bella the family she told Rosalie about claimed they didn't know her. She pulled herself out of her thoughts when the song ended.

"What did you think?" Sebastian asked.

"It's beautiful." Rosalie loved the song. She hoped Bella would let her have a copy of it before she left.

"I think that should do it. Why don't you guys head out and Sebastian and I will close up shop." Bella said.

"Thanks Bella." Damion and Matt called out as they left quickly.

Rosalie figured they really hated shutting down the studio. Watching Bella make her way out of the room and into the one she was standing in Rosalie was suddenly lost for words. She had spent all night and the entire day before this meeting planning what she was going to say when she was finally alone with Bella but now that she was the only thing she could think of was how good it would feel to be in Bella's arms. Running forward she threw herself at Bella and began sobbing.

"It's alright Rose. We're together now. No one will take you away from me again." Bella promised as she led Rosalie to a couch and sat down pulling Rosalie onto her lap.

"Do you want me to stay?" Sebastian asked. He wanted to talk to Rosalie but didn't want to intrude on their reunion.

Bella nodded. "I would appreciate it if you would."

"Ok mom." Sebastian figured he could clean up while they had their moment so he started in the other room to give them some privacy.

Hearing Sebastian call Bella mom, Rosalie pulled away from her. "Why does he call you mom? Did you have a child without me?"

"No I didn't have child without you." Bella tried to move Rosalie to the side but Rosalie didn't budge.

"I want to stay here." Rosalie readjusted so they could look at each other.

"Alright where do you want me to start?" Bella asked.

"What are you?" Rosalie figured Bella was some kind of supernatural but didn't know what kind. The fact that Bella was warm and Rosalie could hear her heart beat meant she wasn't a vampire.

"Can I tell her?" Sebastian asked excitedly.

Bella rolled her eyes."Yes you can tell her."

"Mom's a fairy." Sebastian told her.

"You're a fairy?" Rosalie asked.

"I'm not a fairy. My kind are called fae." Bella hated being called a fairy.

"What's a fae?" Rosalie had never heard of fae before.

"It's a fairy." Sebastian held up his hands when his mother glared at him. "What, it's the easiest thing for her to understand."

Bella sighed. "I suppose my son is right however I hate being called a fairy."

"So you are a fairy?" Rosalie tried to wrap her mind around the fact that her mate was a mystical creature. "Do you have wings?"

Bella sent another glare at Sebastian when he burst out in laughter. "Of all the things you could ask me you want to know if I have wings?"

"It's a legitimate question. "Sebastian said coming to Rosalie's defense.

"Fine, yes I have wings." Bella confirmed.

"Can I see them." Rosalie asked.

"To see them you would have to look upon my fae form." Bella told her.

"You mean this isn't what you really look like?" Rosalie asked.

Bella shook her head. "This is an illusion."

"I want to see." Rosalie wasn't sure if she was actually ready to see what Bella looked like but wanted to know what her love really was.

"Ok." Bella moved Rosalie off of her lap and stood a few feet away from her. Closing her eyes she focused on her magic opening them when she heard Rosalie gasp.

"You're beautiful." Rosalie was awestruck by the sight in front of her. The Bella that stood before her was over 6ft tall, with pointed ears and a more angular face. Her green eyes seemed to glow and her normal red highlighted brown hair was now down to her knees and had streaks of what looked like real gold woven throughout it. Even with all those differences it was the pair of delicate looking wings that were fixed on Bella's back that caught Rosalie's attention most. They were a dark green color with flecks of gold and silver all over them.

"Thank you." Bella was happy it seemed Rosalie wasn't repulsed by her natural form. She hadn't shown it to many mortals and learned that they could be unpredictable when faced with the unknown.

"You should see what the other fairies look like. They are so creepy." Sebastian told her.

"They aren't creepy their looks are just more traditional." Bella corrected.

"I'm just happy you look so different from them." Sebastian turned his attention to Rosalie. "Some of the other fae are convinced that mom is half angel."

"You're half angel?" Rosalie could understand why the others thought that.

Bella shook her head. "I'm not half angel. People just like to make up grand stories for things that aren't normal to them."

"Well I think she's half angel." Sebastian grumbled.

"Now that that's out of the way let's get back to our talk." Bella tapped into her magic and allowed her human appearance to come forth once again. She moved back to the couch and sat next to Rosalie who immediately took Bella's hand in her own.

"Ok." Rosalie didn't know how she would handle any other big revelations and they still hadn't explained how Sebastian came to be.

"So I should begin when our story began." Bella took a deep breath to center herself. "I had been in the area where you lived on a sort of vacation from my home. I didn't know why I was there until I caught sight of you in a tea house with Vera. When I looked at you I knew right away that we were what your kind calls mates. My kind calls them something that isn't able to translate into human language."

"So you knew right away that you were my mate?" Rosalie asked.

Bella nodded. "I did. Unfortunately I couldn't approach you right away like I wanted to because I didn't have any background. I needed time to set myself up as a well to do high society woman who could run in your circles."

"That's why you said you were a part of the shipping magnate."Rosalie now knew why they never heard of Bella.

"Yes. I used that family because they didn't live on the eastern coast. That way no-one could challenge my story unless they reached out to them in California and that was almost impossible to do at the time." Bella explained. "Once I had the background I started throwing money around and got noticed by your father actually."

"My father was the one who found you?" Rosalie asked.

"I went to the bank he worked at and deposited a large amount of money. Since the amount was so much he had to personally oversee it. He was the one who invited me to the party I met you at." Bella told her.

Rosalie laughed."So my father was the one who set us up. If he had only known what would happen when he did he would never have done it."

"When he offered the invitation he mentioned that he had a daughter that was around my age that would be willing to show me around." Bella said.

"That's priceless. I always wondered why he approved so much of our friendship. Now that I look back he did ask if I had met your father and what your house was like." Rosalie had been so wrapped up in Bella at the time that she hadn't really paid attention to her father's schemes.

"He wasn't very subtle to me but his greed worked in my night of the party I couldn't keep my eyes off of you. I waited all night for the opportunity to talk to you and when you slipped outside I made sure I was right where you could see me." Bella explained.

"I remember the first time I looked into your eyes. I think I fell in love with you right then." Rosalie smiled at the memory. She hadn't realized it right away but as their relationship had developed she knew that after they met there wasn't a moment in her life that she had never loved Isabella. "After that I only thought about you."

"Ahh." Sebastian gushed.

"Be good." Bella scolded.

"What? She's so cute. Just like the stories you told me about her. She is prettier than the paintings though." Sebastian said.

"You have paintings of me?" Rosalie asked.

"Mom said since she didn't have a picture of you she painted you instead so she would always be able to see your face." Sebastian was loving the fact his mother was so flustered. Usually Bella was unflappable and nothing really affected her so to see her blushing was very entertaining.

"Bella." Rosalie was touched that Bella had painted her. It was just another confirmation that Bella had continued to love her as much as Rosalie did Bella all these years.

"Yes, well we never had made time to get our photograph taken together so I had to do the next best thing." Bella told her.

"Did you kill all those men who attacked me?" Rosalie had always thought Bella did but could never prove it.

"Of course I did. They hurt you." Bella wasn't going to apologize for it either. Anyone who put their hands on her beloved deserved to die. Painfully.

"I knew it was you know I became a vampire?" Rosalie asked.

"Yes I did." Bella confirmed. "My search for you actually brought Sebastian into my life."

"I should thank you for that." Sebastian said.

Rosalie was confused. "My becoming a vampire gave you a son?"

"In a way yes. When I found out what happened to you I searched the crime scene and found Carlisle's scent. I had known that he and the rest of the Cullens had been in town and he was posing as a doctor." Bella told her.

"Wait." Rosalie interrupted. "You knew about the Cullens?"

"Of course vampires are really easy to pick out." Bella said. "Anyway since I knew it was Carlisle I went in search of him and his family but by the time I actually got back they had already left with you. It took me about a month to take care of the men that attacked you and to search the area for the Cullens but I eventually lost the trail and moved on."

"So you stopped looking for me?" Rosalie concluded sadly.

Bella shook her head. "No I didn't stop looking for you. I simply moved from city to city searching local doctor's offices and hospitals. I knew Carlisle wouldn't give up his passion of wanting to help humans and figured he just took you and moved to a different town to start over."

"That's exactly what he did." Rosalie was impressed with Bella's thought process. "How does that relate to Sebastian though?"

"It was 1942 when I was visiting a hospital that I got the overwhelming urge to go to the maternity ward. I initially thought the feeling was related to you but when I rushed there I was drawn to the room of a teenage girl. That girl was Sebastian's mother. Apparently she had gotten pregnant by one of her high school classmates and wasn't going to be able to keep the baby." Bella explained.

"If she was an unwed teenage mother there was probably no other choice than to give the baby up for adoption." Rosalie felt her heart go out to the young girl. She couldn't imagine having a child that was basically taken away from her.

"Exactly. When I went into the room and laid my eyes on Sebastian I knew that he was meant to be in my life. It was a bond as strong as what you consider a mate bond but the feelings are paternal not romantic." Bella smiled at Sebastian. "I met with the mother and made her an offer. If she let me adopt him I would raise Sebastian in the same town she lived so she could see him grow up. World War 2 was happening at the time so it was easy for me to come up with the story that I was married to a soldier who had been killed during battle."

"So even though you had a bond to Sebastian you allowed his biological mother the chance to see him grow up?" Rosalie couldn't imagine wanting to let another person parent her child. Thinking about what Bella said though brought another question. "Wait, you said Sebastian was born in 1942. If he was then how is he still so young?"

"Mom has magic." Sebastian said.

"You can do magic?" Rosalie wasn't sure she actually believed that.

"All fae have magic. The strength of it varies but all of my kind have some magical talent." Bella told her.

"Yeah but mom is really strong. That's another reason why everyone thinks she is half angel. No one else of her kind can do half the things mom can do." Sebastian said excitedly. He was so happy he finally had someone else to talk to about all the cool things his mother could do.

"I'm not half angel." Bella denied.

"What does your magic have to do with Sebastian not aging though?" Rosalie asked.

"She made me immortal and gave me the ability to age myself." Sebastian said.

Rosalie watched in awe as Sebastian went from a young man into an elderly one in the blink of the eye. "That's incredible."

"That's not the only thing she did though." Sebastian willed himself back to his previous age. "She gave me a shield. Try and punch me."

"I'm not going to punch you!"Rosalie exclaimed.

"Come on it won't even hurt." Sebastian promised.

"I'm not punching you." There was no way Rosalie was punching Bella's son.

"Mom show her it won't hurt." Sebastian pleaded. He never got to show off so he didn't want to miss the chance.

Bella sighed. "Alright but if anything gets broken you have to fix it or replace it. I'm not doing it for you."

"Fine, fine, just punch me already." Sebastian said.

Rosalie jumped to her feet and rushed towards Bella as she watched her punch Sebastian only to be thrown backwards. She was just in time but Bella hit her hard enough that Rosalie lost her balance and ended up on the floor with Bella on top of her. "Jesus Bella are you ok?"

"I'm fine." Bella untangled herself from Rosalie and stood up.

Sebastian laughed. "You didn't have to catch her. She has wings you know."

"I didn't think of that. I panicked when she bounced off of you." Rosalie said.

"Anyway, wasn't that cool. Not only is it a physical shield but it's mental as well." Sebastian told her.

"That's why Edward can't read your mind." Rosalie realized.

"Yes the mind reader's gift is useless against us." Bella confirmed.

"I wish I had the same ability." Rosalie would love to block Edward.

"Why can't you?" Sebastian asked.

"I don't have a gift. When vampires are changed either they do or they don't. I don't." Rosalie explained.

"Yeah but mom can help you." Sebastian turned his attention to Bella. "Right mom."

"Of course. Vampires aren't immune to my magic." Bella said.

"Then would you do it for me?" When Bella nodded Rosalie felt herself get excited at the idea she would finally have privacy. "The only thing cooler was if I could age myself like Sebastian."

"I can grant you that as well." Bella told her.

"Next you are going to tell me you can make me human again." Rosalie froze mid chuckle when she noticed the other two weren't laughing with her. "Wait can you turn me human again?"

"Yes I could. If you truly wished to have a human body I would gladly change you." Bella offered.

"But would we still be mates and what would happen when I grew older?" Rosalie wasn't sure if it was logical to be human again. No matter how much she wanted it.

"We would still be bonded and if you wanted I could grant you immortally as I have Sebastian. You could also have the ability to age at will like him if you wanted." Bella would happily change Rosalie. Although she would always accept Rosalie she preferred her human body to the cold hard one that she had now as a vampire.

"Seriously? You can really change me back?" Rosalie wished she could pinch herself to prove she was awake because this was to good to be true. Not only had she gotten her Isabella back but she was being offered the chance to get her human life back as well. Plus if she went through with it she wouldn't have to worry about dying of old age. She could still spend eternity with Bella.

"If you want to." Bella told her.

"I definitely want too." Rosalie wasn't going to let this chance pass her by.

"Why don't we head back to the hotel and speak about this further. This isn't the right place to go about planning out the details."Bella looked at her watch. "Also our time is up in here."

"Ok." Rosalie pulled Bella into a hug when she stood up from her seat on the couch. She couldn't believe that her love was back and she was going to be giving Rosalie her life back. She wondered how she would go about explaining this to the Cullens but decided to worry about that later. Now she was going to focus on beginning her forever with Bella.
