Hi all! Heres chapter three of our little adventure. Sam tries to figure out the spell, while Dean just tries to figure out how to not step on anyone!

Sam woke first, mostly because a baby demon was squirming in his lap and trying to break free of his tight grip.

"Hey Crowley." Sam said smiling down at the little king. "Did you sleep well?"

Crowley smiled up at him then head butted him in the chest.

He looked over and saw Dean sleeping next to him, his head drooping down towards his chest. Sam chuckled quietly then quickly intercepted Crowleys little hands as they reached out to grab at Dean.

"No Crowley!" Sam scolded. "Let him sleep. He needs it."

Sam carefully climbed off the bed and lifted Crowley to sit on his hip.

"How about you and me go get something to eat then we can try to figure this mess out?" He asked the mini demon.

Crowley nodded once and head butted Sam on the chest again. Sam picked up the sippy cups and empty plate then carried the whole lot to the kitchen. He placed Crowley on the floor while he rinsed his cup and filled it with water. He handed it down to the tiny demon.

"Here you go." He offered.

Crowley just whined and pushed it away.

"Come on, it's water, yummers!" Sam tried tempting the little guy by shaking the cup in his hand.

"Naaaa!" Crowley cried as he pushed Sam's hand away again, this time pointing to the blue cup on the counter.

"That's Cas' cup. This one's red, like your eyes." Sam explained.

"Naaaaaaa!" Crowley squealed again, pointing more determinedly at the blue cup.

"Okay fine!" Sam gave up and transferred the water to the blue cup and handed it to Crowley.

The little demon took the cup and shook it happily before taking a sip then throwing it away and screaming. He threw himself sideways, slamming his chubby little hands on the floor and putting his head on his arms as he cried.

"What's wrong with him?" Dean asked as he walked into the kitchen holding a tiny Cas with messed up dark hair.

"He wanted the blue cup." Sam said frowning at the little demon who had now pushed himself up to his feet, into some weird downward dog yoga position while he continued his tantrum.

"So?" Dean prompted.

"So, I gave him the blue cup." Sam said with a shrug.

"Huh." Dean replied.

Cas just stared at Crowley and tilted his head as if trying to work him out. Crowley was now back to lying on his stomach and still sobbing.

"Well, if you don't want it…" Sam shrugged and picked up the cup.

"Naaaaaa!" Crowley screeched and quickly sat up reaching for the cup.

Sam looked at Dean for guidance. He didn't want to reward Crowley for his bad behaviour, but he wanted the ear splitting screeching to stop.

"Don't just stand there! Give it to him!" Dean said.

Sam bent down and held the cup out for Crowley. The baby got onto his hands and knees and crawled over to take it, drinking happily as if he hadn't just thrown a prize winning tantrum.

"So how long do you think this curse of going to last?" Sam asked, frowning down at Crowley.

"Dunno." Dean replied. "Guess we'll have to translate that parchment and see if it says anything."

"Okay, well, I'll go get started on that, you deal with these two." Sam said.

"Hey! Why am I stuck with babysitting duty?"

"How well do you know enochian?" Sam asked.

Dean stared at his brother with pursed lips.

"Fine! Go." Dean shooed his brother out of the room. "I'll get some food together and maybe that'll keep these two happy for a while."

Sam poured himself a coffee and stepped around Crowley, who was trying to pull himself up Sam's legs, then left the kitchen giving Dean a smug smile as he left.

Dean checked his watch and noticed it was much later than he thought so he went about fixing burgers for him and Sam to eat for dinner. He made mini patties for the babies, adding some sliced cheese, a few pieces of tomato, a slice of pickle and a handful of blueberries (take that Sam!) to each of their plate for good measure. He added a few fries as well and set the plates aside to cool while he constructed his and Sam's food.

He'd like to say it went without a hitch but every time he turned around Cas was standing right behind him and more than once the tiny Angel ended up flat on his butt or Dean had to pull of moves the most experienced Prima ballerina would be proud of just to avoid him.

"Cas! Dammit! Personal space dude, I'm gonna step on you if you don't move back!" He said as he turned from the fridge with two beers in his hands and almost sent the baby flying…again.

Crowley had just keep himself entertained by opening a cupboard and pulling all the pots out, then putting them back in, then pulling them back out again. He thought he was very clever and giggled the whole time.

"Alrighty boys! Dinner time!" Dean rubbed his hands together and picked up their plates. "Come on!" He called to them, looking under his elbow.

He made his way to the few steps leading from the kitchen to the library and jogged up them. At the top he turned to see if the mini celestial were following. Cas had made it to the steps and was holding onto the wall and trying to put his little foot on to the first tread. Dean watched as he wobbled dangerously when he tried to repeat the moves up to the second step. He quickly put the plates down.

"Wait, wait, wait!" he said looking down at Cas, who was balance precariously on the stairs.

He moved down the steps and picked Cas up and placed him on his bottom on the hallway floor before going back for Crowley who was trying to pull himself up as well. Gathering both children in his arms, Dean took them to the library and deposited them on the blanket they'd laid out earlier.

"Stay!" He said seriously, pointing at each of them then hurried back for their plates.

Dean put the food in front of the little beings.

"Okay, eat up." He said.

Cas seemed to have a full mouth of teeth but Crowley only had his front teeth and a couple of incisors, but Dean figured the food was soft so he should be able to mush it with his gums. After making sure the babies would actually eat the food and not play in it, Dean went back to the kitchen and returned with burgers and beers for the grown ups.

"How's it going?" Dean asked as he slid the plate of food under his brothers face.

"Dunno." Sam sighed as he snagged a fry from his plate. "I've picked out the words I recognise the easiest. I think this is mostly about dispelling the darkness, but down here there's something about division? I don't know. I'm gonna have to make some calls."

"Okay, but how long do you think these two are gonna stay like this?" Dean asked waving a hand it the direction of Cas and Crowley who were getting more food on the floor than actually in their mouths.

"I have no idea." Sam replied honestly.

"Well that's just friggin great!" Dean swore.

"It's not my fault Dean!" Sam snapped back.

"I know that Sammy! But we got Amara out there sucking the life out of the planet and our two power players are crawling around in their own drool." Dean indicated to Crowley who was currently smooshing his burger into his face.

Sam looked around and chuckled.

"At least Cas knows the benefits of a healthy diet." He observed as Cas leaned over and took the blueberries from Crowleys plate and, giggling, ate them one by one.

"What the hell are we gonna do?" Dean asked, slumping back in his chair with a sigh.

"I have no freaking clue." Sam replied honestly.
