They reached Kyushu in a matter of hours.

And the sight alone was staggering as banners, streamers, and people decorated the street in preparation for Creatoria.

"HELLO, KYUSHU!" Taira's voice shouted over the speakers on her ride, the people growing louder. "I hope you guys are looking forward to OUR UPCOMING MOVIE!"

The cheers were deafening to the point that Obito had turned off his & Ippan's helmets before their ears began ringing something fierce.

"O-Ow," Ippan winced as she held the side of her helmet.

A shame it didn't work so perfectly.

They kept going through the city of Fukuoka before finding themselves going inside of a large garage that could handle even Taira's ridiculous vehicle.

By the time they'd gotten parked in specifically-noted spots, Obito noticed everything.

"There's A/C & shudders," he realized in disbelief at the cool air in this space. "Outside is warm but this isn't even heated."

"That's incredible," Ippan said as they got off before grabbing their things. 'We'll have three days here for their meet-n-greet,' she thought.

Then, it was time to move on to the movie set-

"Good, you all were slow-kon," a single deep feminine voice said from behind them, Obito's eyes widening at this impossible presence.

His senses went wild at the feeling of the woman who'd arrived at his bike's side with a wisp-like energy coming off of her.

Obito was lucky he was parked already as she grabbed his shoulder and he noted the ironclad grip.

The next second, she sent him flying out into this large and wide expanse of the garage with just that alone.

'I'm really not lucky when it comes to people like her!' He thought as he recovered mid-air before his heels skid across the ground by one of the many support pillars, the sight of the thirty yards between him and his bike damning. "Shit-" Obito almost cursed.

Only to stop and throw his body into the air as the floor cratered from the falling heel of this newcomer.

His sandals touched the ground as their eyes met.

Obito grit his teeth as her palm met the side of his sheath, the former shinobi's body flying through the air before she reappeared in front of him.

He was already mid-swing before she stopped it with her palm on the hand-Only to catch a kick to the chin that separated them.

Obito bounced back into a crouch while his aggressor landed with those impossible heels of her, her eyes narrowed as not even a scuff mark showed on her chin.

She was a young woman, notably around his age in looks, with long crimson-red hair that fell to her knees, white skin with a beauty mark under her lip, and slightly big pure black eyes. Being of mature build even for her age, she had on a simple tight black dress shirt, black slacks, black heels, and a white tie.

All the same descriptors, all the same age.

And just as terrifying as he'd expected.

"Asuka Dokudami," Obito uttered as the others yelped or rushed out.

Shinji, Takeshita, Keigo, and Oboro slid between them.

"Asuka-senpai, that's enough," Shinji said sternly. "I don't know what this was about but attacking one of my men isn't wise," he declared as his hands enlarged and gained brown fur.

"Easy, ma'am," Takeshita said with a nervous smile as a bamboo spear was held in his off-hand. 'Oh shit, she's not gonna be nice today,' he thought with a bead of sweat running down the side of his face.

"Ease it, lady," Keigo said with a focused frown, a pair of feathers in his hands elongating into blades. 'What's with that STRENGTH?!' This… This didn't seem like a normal person.

In fact, just her standing there set all his alarms on 'FUCK ME, I'M DEAD'.

Oboro hefted a staff in his hands before inching forward. "..." He didn't try and speak to her.

As a massive talker, he was well aware, Oboro knew when and with who he could do such chatter.

This lady was NOT one of those people.

"Shinji-kun," Asuka spoke, verbal tic vanishing as she grew more irritated. "Do NOT get in my way, I'm doing my vetting," she whispered as she vanished like a phantom.

Obito's eyebrows furrowed as his eyes closed, form crouched.

The moment that impossibly-large spirit entered his range, he didn't just swing.

'I'd been considering it,' he thought as Asuka's swinging hand was repelled. 'But I've been wasting the build-up,' Obito thought as he lunged in low, sheath & blade held by his hands.

With his arms crossed over his mouth, he swung them in one breath at the alarmed woman.

The blow released a gong-like sound as that crossing 'slash' landed on her chest.

Asuka soared through four pillars before her body crashed into a fifth and was covered by a cloud of dust and stone.

"OBITO?!" Ippan cried out as the others departed their vehicles in alarm.

"OI, HAG?!" Taira roared. "I swear to God, CUT THE CRAP!"

Sensoji grimaced as he finally got out of the bus before shooting towards the dust cloud with a flash of his quirk.

The next second, it was dispelled with a swirl of crimson red hair.

Black eyes slowly lifted before he grimaced at those angered orbs.

Then, that intense force that'd fell over him vanished as Asuka walked past his flying form with a displeased frown, the chest of her attire crumpled and half-torn to reveal bits and pieces of the woman's black bra.

She reached the at-the-ready Uchiha before standing a mere two feet away.

Black eyes bearing a single white tomoe locked with those inky black depths of her widening eyes. Then, her gaze narrowed as she wore a visible scowl.

Obito found his feet lifting off the ground as she grabbed his collar.

"What a horrible situation to be finding you like this," Asuka said as the others approached. "Didn't think a powerless brat like you would even show a hint of it when my other grandkid didn't," she declared.

Obito's eyebrows shot up… Before they widened to horrified levels.

To oh so FUCKED levels.

"Yes, I'm sure you can figure out what this means, huh, boya?" The kitsune said as their eyes remained locked. "After all, only my family has these eyes," Asuka hissed.

As her Sharingan spun, those two white tomoe shifting like his single one.

"What…?" Obito whispered in disbelief as she dropped him. "You-"

The next moment, the space in front of him was filled with that wisp-like power of hers, a white energy that focused into a singular attack that stunned him, slowing any defense he could have possibly mustered.

That untouched blade on the woman's back, that five-feet-long black-handled thing, was brandished for the first and likely last time of this encounter.

Only for Ippan's shoulder to take the brunt of the attack as she tackled him.

The next moment, a harsh white wave tore down the garage before fizzling out abruptly as a red-eyed Shouta glared down Asuka's uncaring form.

"Ippan-chan?!" Hachika called out in horror.

Obito's breath remained still at the rough feeling on his back as smoke, dust, and pebbles covered his body.

All of which was completely ignored as his eyes remained on the smiling Ippan who winced at that large tear in the right side of her outfit's shoulder that showed the heavy bruising.

"H-Hey," his girlfriend greeted him painfully as she looked down at him from her protective stance over him.

Him, he was getting someone hurt again.

He was a WEAK again.

OBITO UCHIHA WAS GOING TO GET SOMEONE KILLED-

Ippan's eyes widened as another white tomoe formed in the quirkless man's darkening eyes.

And then she was up in his arms, a move that confused her senses completely as he held her up with ease.

Asuka, meanwhile, glared at the two before finding her collar hefted by Sensoji. "What the hell is WRONG with you?!" The large carrot top roared at her as she kissed her teeth.

And then that cold presence settled behind her as her eyes widened and she sent Sensoji flying into Shouta, cutting off his quirk as her head turned to that chopping blade coming towards her fac-

The next second, it was stopped by Keigo and Shinji tackling Obito's murderous form.

They hit the floor with no one beneath them, much to their disbelief.

"I'm going to MURDER you, bitch," his voice hissed at the fox woman as her eyes burned.

There were heavy rebounds around the pillars, a blurring form bouncing between them like a pinball that cracked reinforced stone and metal railings with his murderous intent.

The wind coiled around her back and her tail bristled as Obito's blade swung for her shoulder before it was rebuked by a screaming odachi.

The rebuked one's eyes thrummed as his foot tip touched the ground and she clenched her sword.

They vanished and carved up the ground away from the others, blades releasing arcing white slashes that carved up the floor, pillars, or air.

"Dammit, what the hell is her PROBLEM?!" Keigo yelled to anyone who'd answer.

"This isn't normal behavior for her!" Shinji grimaced as they shielded their faces from ground-rending slashing waves. "This isn't good!"

A figure shot past them with eyes filled with annoyance.

Back with the clashing pair, Obito rebuked Asuka once more.

'How is he doing it?' She thought as Butsuri's white glow settled before erupting again. 'He's matching me,' it'd be one thing if his Enlightenment was so powerful but it shouldn't be.

His 'base' was still just that, a base. A base for a person who should have had a quirk but didn't because his genes were weak. He shouldn't have had 'potential' that'd match someone who did.

But his current power didn't fit that mold if you will.

Her eyes trailed his perfect form and murderous gaze before she, too, reared back.

Their weapons meeting in the middle had white sparks slashing past them before Obito stepped in and around their clash to kick up at the redhead's prepped hand.

Flying off her feet didn't do much, just a few meters, so how was he clashing with her?

None of it made sense.

His eyes glowed, her own widening before he lunged at her.

Their blades met all around, her revealed relative's flexible body causing that weapon of his to bounce, coil, and counter like an overbearing hurricane.

Like now, his form lunged around her with three heavy crunches of stone before Asuka leaned back with a stabbing blade-Before a weight settled on her wrist, Obito's foot hooked onto it as he swung upside-down at her abdomen.

'What sort of style is this?!' What kind of movements were these?!

She flexed her wrist and her power rebuffed his feet-Before he slammed his shoulder into her with a single foot finding purchase on the ground to push him forward.

Pushed back, Asuka found a foot in her throat before being sent flying into a pillar with another heavy crash.

Five meters away, Obito prepped Butsuri for the inevitable.

Three earth-rending shockwaves zeroed-in on him-

"That's enough!"

They were shattered by a heavy blade of wind, Taira's form sliding in between the two black-eyed fighters.

"Alright, you guys need to STOP," the Weasel Idol declared with a frown, her tail's sharp curve relaxing into its more tame form. "Hot stuff, I get it, I'm a bit pissed, myself, but continuing like this ain't gonna help anyone," Taira said even as Obito's form bristled with anger.

He growled before clenching his eyes shut and reluctantly sheathing his blade, Taira's eyes looking him over with a wince.

At his bruises, the quirkless man's arms, exposed abdomen, and shins covered in welts she could see from the torn bits of his clothing.

"O-Obito-kun?!" Ippan called out as she hurried over with the others before kneeling by his side, her boyfriend's grimaces noted. "..." She held him close.

"Hmph," the displeased voice of Asuka Dokudami filled the air as she walked away from her dust cloud to reveal her disheveled state of attire. "..." The crimson-haired woman's eyes narrowed at the gathered force before shrugging. "There will be time later on to deal with this, boy."

Obito looked ready to hiss out a 'compliment' before Keigo wore a nervous grin while Oboro shook his head.

"Nah, man, that's definitely not gonna help," he told the younger male. "Besides, that's 'bait' if I've ever seen it," Oboro said as Asuka scoffed and left. "Geez."

"Obito-kun?" Ippan whispered as she looked at her tense boyfriend before he released a heated breath. "It's fine, you know? We're both fine."

"I doubt that when you're hurt because of my weakness," Obito responded with pale knuckles. "Dammit," he whispered as her eyes softened.

~NRK~

Getting patched-up had only left Obito feeling more disappointment in himself.

'I'd thought things would go simply,' ignore her, stay by Ippan's side, and just remain where he needed to be.

Obito had NOT expected to get approached on her terms, to get manhandled like an idiot.

To let Ippan get HURT because he was too slackjawed to do anything!

'She's an Uchiha,' or, really, like himself.

A spiritual counterpart? Basically? He'd never expected it.

That he'd let his problems hurt someone close to him agai-

The door to the men's medical room opened to allow in his girlfriend.

Having bandages wrapped around her right shoulder and side, Obito felt his rage and guilt build once more before finding Ippan in front of his gurney.

The Uchiha's eyes clenched shut at her warm embrace before he released a shuddering sigh.

"It's not your fault," Ippan whispered softly, nuzzling him. "No one expected that woman to pull something so ridiculous like that," she added a bit harshly.

"..." Obito's hands twitched before going slack. "I shouldn't have frozen-up like that," he declared, hands clenching into fists. "I know better to do that in the midst of battle, I know how to fucking conduct myself, any distractions are for after the fight. It's all on my shoulders, Ippan-chan, if Shouta-san hadn't stopped her when he did-"

"None of that," she said, stopping him cold. "... I've never seen you so angry before, not… Not even when Mumei was taken," Ippan said as she tucked her head down besides his. "... It was scary."

"I'm so sorry."

"I know you've been beating yourself up the entire way here, when you left my side I wasn't sure what'd happen."

Obito's hands went limp. "I need to get stronger," he said, wrapping his arms around her waist and holding her close as Ippan smiled. "I need to stop this from happening again but that's not all," Obito said as he held Ippan at arm's length, her eyes looking at his expression in confusion. "Ippan… Asuka Dokudami is… I think she's my grandmother."

Ippan's eyes slowly widened beyond doubt, his tomoe flicking to life.

"She has those damn tomoe in her eyes," he said with a frown. "And said that it didn't follow her other grandchild so it means I, too, have them in my eyes," Obito said as their gazes locked completely. "Don't I?"

Ippan swallowed. "You do, two of them," she said while holding his cheek as those tomoe slowly shifted. "This isn't some quirk, is it?"

"No, I believe this is the culmination of my ancestry. I never told you, not in full, about how weird my body is. I think now's the time."

He sat her down and explained the entirety of his quirk ancestry from what he knew of his grandfather, his parents, his granduncle, and now Asuka.

"Just because a person is quirkless," Obito reiterated as her eyes widened. "Does NOT mean they are powerless, there's likely a big chance that there are in fact quirkless people who don't know it," he considered. "Maybe I'm unique or maybe they just didn't know, I can't be sure, but I'm not a normal person by any biological standard. I have some ability to manipulate my spirit."

"W-What about your speed and power?" Ippan asked.

"That's purely training, trust me. That's an observed science, there are heroes who don't have a physical-enhancement quirk that can literally bring down a city wall, it's not THAT crazy."

"O-Oh… What will you do, Obi-kun?" She asked him, alarming him.

"O-Obi-kun?"

Ippan beamed embarrassedly while his cheeks reddened something fierce.

"I don't think I deserve such an affectionate nickname."

"Well, I do," she giggled as he slumped with an embarrassed smile.

"Look… Thank you, I suppose, I don't know what I'd do without such kindness."

"We said it, didn't we?" Ippan beamed. "The kind of relationship we should have is one where we can talk things out and expose our feelings fully," she reiterated as he wore a small smile. "I'm glad I get to do these things for you like you do for me and my dreams."

"... Small shift in topic but have you considered my words?"

"I have. I just don't know yet."

They sat there for a bit before Obito got up and took Ippan's hand, helping her do the same.

"I'm going to get stronger, I just need to figure out how to do that," he told her as she grasped his hand with both of hers. "Meanwhile, I'm sorry for whatever happens in that time where I can find strength to bring down even someone like All Might himself," Obito declared as her eyes widened at those spinning tomoe. "... You also don't need to say you believe in me THAT much, I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist."

"Hmmmmmm," Ippan tilted her head before smiling. "I think you can do it," she giggled as he sweatdropped.

"Thanks, regardless. Now, you may not know it but I also have a sensory skill," Obito explained, confusing her. "FOR EXAMPLE!" He shouted at the door where several people stumbled. "THERE'S ALMOST EVERYONE WE KNOW HERE AT THE DOOR!"

Said door trembled before slowly being opened by sheepish Hachika.

"Hachika," Obito listed off. "Keigo, Shouta, Shinji, Habami, Ryuuki, Takeshita, Oboro, Nemuri," he continued as those people twitched into view. "The only people not outside are the others of your troupe, Sensoji-senpai & Hosoi-san, and most of Taira's detail. There's another person there, though, I've never met."

"What the hell are you?" Keigo asked as he peeked in with disbelief. "A-And everything you just said before… Before knowing we were here, is that legit?"

"Yes, it's all real."

"That sounds crazy," Habami said as she came in with a nervous smile. "Creatoria is SO SORRY," she came over and bowed. "What Asuka-san did was BEYOND out of line."

"Ain't that the truth," Taira groaned. "Damn that hag, I've liked her looks, she's good at that, but God does she suck as a person."

Shinji nodded while Shouta looked exasperated.

"So, you said some interesting stuff in here," Nemuri said without worry as Hizashi chuckled weakly. "Quirkless but not powerless."

"Do you honestly think society wouldn't reach that point?" Obito offered her with a raised brow as the woman shrugged.

"I mean, yeah, there'd eventually be no quirkless because of mixing and stuff. 20%'s the current average, ain't it?"

"No, not that, I'm talking about there being powers in people that don't make sense. Of course this would happen in rare cases like mine, because the blood that's mixing all has similar genes and skills. Likely, I'm not even the only quirkless person like this," he said, confusing her. "Sixth senses, a resistance to some elements, and more, there are likely little things in every quirkless person that they don't test out because of course. If you had a society mixing with superpowers for over 150 years, there's no person that's gonna have normal genes, hell, even quirkless people have weird hair colors."

"... Ya know? When you put it like that…"

"It's to be expected," Obito said.

"Still…" Keigo looked at the older male's eyes with focus. 'So, he DOES have some special skill despite not having the quirk gene,' which meant a LOT of science could be re-modelled with just his existence alone. "So, she's your granny," he said with a tilt of the head as Obito rubbed the back of his noggin.

"Yes, it's become quite clear to me that we're related and she's definitely not a fan of that," the quirkless man said. "What's happening with her?"

"Reprimands," Taira said with a worried smile. "Though, uh, considering everything we know about that hag? Probably won't do much besides annoy her. But hopefully it'll annoy her enough to NOT bother YOU."

"I can't imagine that working but I get the feeling she only did this because we were in an isolated garage," Obito realized. "I get the feeling she'll be overly passive-aggressive from now on until we get to the mountains," he sighed. "I hope I can sneak away from her when I get the chance."

~NRK~

"I hope he's alright," another woman said as they walked around the streets of Fukuoka. "Ippan-chan, your man gets into a LOT of crap, doesn't he?"

"Yeah, we're both not happy with it," Ippan said as they walked past cheering crowds and heroes who watched the very street they traveled. "I just don't understand what was about, why go out of her way to attack him?"

"Likely, it's got a lot to do with how much of a diva she is," Hachika said with a shake of the head. "Think about it, take one look at that woman and you'll think she's someone who cares more about herself than anything else. Her strength, looks, outfit? I think she's got a complex."

"Maybe."

Meanwhile, Obito walked at the back of the gathered group besides Shinji and Habami. "Apologies," the bull man said with a frown. "Haa, I speak of her as I do for GOOD reasons," Shinji grimaced.

"I understand," the younger brunette said. "But there's actually something decent that came out of that clash," Obito said with a look at the bull.

When they locked eyes, Shinji noted those two spinning tomoe before realizing something else.

"Hmmm… Sakura flowers?" He muttered as Obito blinked before chuckling.

"Not what I meant but, yes, we went to ASH and learned a bit from their producer," Obito explained. "The scents were something we bought that day and I've been applying them."

Habami's nose wiggled before she looked alarmed. "That's so devious, how didn't I notice?!" She squawked as Obito smirked.

"It's doing its job, I need to capitalize on it," the quirkless man said. "Still, that's likely to only come with time. I've got to make the effort to bring out its full potency."

They'd stopped in front of a movie theater before going in after Taira flashed a specialized pass.

It was a little 'relaxing bond session' that likely had him as the cause.

Like now, Obito watched this odd movie about a robotic cop with Ippan on his left and Sensoji on his right.

"Senpai."

"Sup, don't let that bitch get to you."

Obito nodded with a heated breath. "I'm trying but I'm also very annoyed by her very existence now," he huffed as Ippan intertwined their hands and he held hers back solidly. "Sorry, this should be about the movie," he said.

"It's fine, you're being really patient with the idea of her," Ippan smiled.

"... 'Patient' isn't the word I'd use but we'll go with that. How are you enjoying this movie about a cop… That apparently has over 16 different sequels?"

She beamed. "Robo-Cop is a cult classic, I get 'why' now! It's so charming, he's a man trying to do the right thing but he's 'owned' so he has to live life by using what bits of his humanity to work things out!" Ippan explained as Obito blinked.

"Have we been watching the same movie?"

"It's about the emotional appeal~," she giggled.

"Well, that explains it, I'm crap at that," Obito sweatdropped as Sensoji snorted. "Oy vey."

~NRK~

After the movie, they'd ended up at a restaurant with a large reserved table that was flashed by cameras like clockwork. With their large private table having folding screens around them, it was honestly rather comfortable.

"This make up for the start of the day?" Hosoi asked sheepishly.

"It's fine, I'm not angry at you all, just that whore of a woman," Obito said flatly as most of them gawked at him while the others laughed. "Apologies, my anger is slipping through."

Hachika laughed while Ippan looked scandalized, Hosoi's bark of laughter barely covered by her shaky hands as Sensoji laughed.

They ordered their food, chatted, and drank without worry.

"Three days of this is nice," Keigo said from beside Obito. "Senpai, seriously though, you moved like never before in that garage, could barely see you," and he wasn't joking.

It was like a switch had flipped in the man's body and he went from 'peak human' to 'quirk-user' in speed.

"It's several things," Obito said. "One, the spiritual enhancement by my bloodline is the first," he explained. "Secondly, my sandals have hyper-rubberized heels that improve my bouncing and absorb shock well," he added as Keigo looked done at his feet. "Three, I really wanted to tear her face apart so that helps."

Keigo's grin grew nervous.

"I-It's leaking out again, senpai."

"Oh, sorry."

"Hmm, even with all of that, what of the strength in your clashes?" Shinji asked, amused, as Keigo grinned at his 'out'. "She's many things but her strength is literally only a level below my own at full power."

"She was throwing him around like a sack of rocks," Hachika said.

"That's because I figured out another way to 'parry'," Obito said, holding up Butsuri. "Butsuri can absorb physical blows and turn them into energy, it's also an unbreakable blade from my granduncle's words. By absorbing attacks via blocking, parrying, and even attacking, I can increase my own attack potency but I've been thinking about it too much like those were moves and moves alone. Instead of using it like it was a part of the weapon, I used it as only its parts."

"I don't get it," Hizashi said with a shrug. "It's a weapon, with a weird gimmick yeah, but it's still just a weapon. Of course you're thinking about it in parts, that's the point."

"In a normal nodachi, that'd be true, but it's not the same. Instead of using it in big bursts, I use it as a counterweight to my enemy's attacks instead of just some kind of advantage."

"... Ah, I get it," Oboro said with a look of excitement. "Instead of just attacking like usual, you can 'throw the same weight around', yeah? Hehe~ It's basically parrying on a WAY bigger scale cuz of the energy in it."

"Exactly," Obito smirked, confusing the others.

"... I think I get it?" Ippan said unsurely. "Your using their power against them, right?"

"Exactly right. If it's a game of 'who's stronger', I'll just make it so their own strength becomes mine, it's why I could nullify those simple swings of hers, Asuka's blows strengthened my own FAR before that point. There's still a LARGE downside, though."

"..." Shouta's eyes narrowed in thought. "That's what it is, you're using strength WAY beyond yours."

Obito's smile was telling. "It's a dangerous method, likely more dangerous than any other I can use," he said. "I'm lucky I'm as in-tune with Butsuri as I am or else a couple bruises might not be the 'best' I'd gotten."

"That's still wicked," Keigo complimented. "Now, hehehe," he snickered. "Ya gotta 'Power-Type Defense' but what about the Elemental kind?"

"That is still a work-in-progress but I have more ideas now," he said, getting a startled look out of the younger man. "My control over Butsuri means I can do other things with it. Say, for example, coating an intangible attack with its energy so I can cut it but I've never done it before. It's all theory, conjecture, and crazy ideas."

"Those are the best kinds of ideas," Hosoi muttered with a cupped chin as Sensoji shrugged.

"Ain't nothing gained through super-safe work, ya gotta explode some shit sometimes," he said.

"Yeah, see, I get that."

Obito chuckled knowingly. "Yes, well, I'll have to make use of Quirk Coliseums for that. Or find people with elemental quirks to spar against, speaking of, Taira-san? How in the world did you get in between myself & Asuka at that moment?" He asked, eyebrow raised.

Taira blinked before looking smug, much to Ippan & Hachika's giggling amusement and Habami's groans.

"Of course, I'm the most well-trained amongst my group. Papa's not gonna let his 'Little Girl' go off without knowing how to kick a guy in the nuts from sixteen directions," she declared as the other trainees giggled, laughed, or looked awed.

The men weren't so 'easy going'.

"E-Easy there, crazy weasel woman," Hizashi said nervously as Nemuri snickered. "I don't need that much 'terror' in my life."

"Good, that's the point!"

They chatted, joked, or ate in companionable silence that ended up on 'movie topics'.

"It's an 'Old Era' movie," Habami explained with a twirl of a clean fork that landed perfectly in some steak. "Think of the days when quirks weren't so crazy, more around the time of the ronin fad that kicked up."

That was a curious piece of this world's history, Obito knew.

That the world had devolved horribly sometime after quirks had begun to emerge. It'd been a 'brief' period of pre-modern history and yet that time had lasted for over ten years.

Ten years of retrained skills, bushido, marshal law, and more. Life had gone to shit, basically, before those with quirks & righteous minds came to stand above the to-be-titled 'villains'.

"It's about one of those legendary swordsmen who had a simple redirection quirk," she explained excitedly. "Hehe, the seriously-named 'Musashi Hohaba', the dude was literally called 'Musashi's second-coming'."

"You seem to enjoy the idea, Habami-chan," Ippan noted with interest.

"I love movies, Ippan-chan, you don't understand!"

"She wants to make her own one day," Hosoi said while chewing on some sauteed carrots. "It sounds cool, don't have something like that," she muttered. "The girls all got some big dream."

"It's nothing so complex, Hosoi-chan," Ryuuki said with a dignified bite of some food. "Hmm, it's not like we're all so grand."

"You literally want to make a second PHSC."

"I wish to main a branch, yes."

"W-What?" Keigo asked, nervous. "What's that all about, Ryuuki-san?"

"It's nothing complex, my mother is a member and head commissioner. I see much value in such a thing and it helps keep the world running like Creatoria's Mutant-aide Events," she explained, surprising him a bit.

'That really doesn't sound that bad,' the bird boy thought. "Huh, this is the first time I've ever heard of such a thing, no offense."

"We've a series of events that are aimed in the direction of enhancing relations & the image of mutant-type quirks," Ryuuki explained. "Even nowadays, there are villages in rural places that don't exactly 'modernize'."

"That's just not cool," Oboro said with a shake of the head. "I mean, I think mutant-type quirks are cool, there are some real cool dudes we know from UA who do a buncha stuff with their body types."

"That's good but it's sadly a half-made norm."

"It's really not great," Ippan admitted as he winced. "It's not your fault, I'm glad more people like me are accepted in even hero schools, it's just that the change is something that can really only be seen in a lot of places but not ALL places."

"It's sadly the ridiculousness of humanity," Obito said with a shake of the head. "To this day, I'm not even sure what we do as a species most of the time."

~NRK~

Getting back to their personal hotel, they ignored the groupies and entered the lobby.

And found a waiting Asuka in a comfy-looking seat in the middle of the entire thing, okayyyyy?

"What… Is she doing?" Ippan asked, startled by this odd 'statement'. "Is this a narcissist thing?" She whispered to a sweatdropping Hachika.

"I think she's just a weirdo," the octopus woman admitted. "And also that."

Obito walked ahead of them all first before stopping before the old woman's chair and observing her.

Wearing a new tight white dress shirt, she had on a pair of black jeans that hugged her figure, and a pair of black flats. Having on some fingerless red gloves & a pair of aviator sunglasses, Asuka Dokudami could have looked like someone ready for a fight or who didn't care.

Without her weapon in sight, Obito realized that this was likely more of just a 'show' of the later.

"I can't believe that of all my offspring, you're the one who got 'It'," Asuka declared while tilting her glasses down to reveal those intense black eyes of hers. "It's like some sort of sick joke, I can't stand it."

"The irony is palpable," Obito shot back flatly as she scoffed. "We'll just keep these lives of ours separate, I don't want anything to do with you and I'm sure the feeling is mutual."

"It would have been," the fox woman said as she got up and Obito's eyes narrowed. "But you have something that unfortunately brokers my interest-kon. Or, really, your grandfather's and I'm a full-damn-woman when it comes to him."

That had Obito's eyes going blank for a good bit. "... What?"

"It's nothing you'll care about, boyo, but it's something I do. The fact remains, I know what you're up to later on and now he has me going along to pass along a stupid message."

Obito was definitely not happy hearing this but now he was painfully intrigued as the others hurried over, Ippan at his side.

"... At least your tastes are good-kon," the old woman said while looking up at the frowning Ippan. "Hmph," she smirked, confusing the fox- "Please just get this generation going, I really don't want him as a only living descendent with these eyes," Asuka declared before taking her leave.

Leaving behind a twitchy-eyed Obito and red-faced Ippan as the others gawked, blushed, or joked horribly.

"I think you got a chance," Keigo snickered as Obito's hand found his face. "My God, she is an old lady!"

"Keigo-kun!" Obito hissed.

"Uuuuuhhhhh," Taira looked completely caught off-guard. "I… I don't get that hag, like, at ALL."

Ippan steamed.

~NRK~

Enjoying the following two days had come with a bit of a realization.

"Wait, we haven't seen Nagabiko-chan at all," Habami said to the others as they rode in Taira's tank-like vehicle, the machine's all-terrain abilities just something they'd accepted by this point. "Why's Asuka here but not her?"

"She said she was going to go and pick her up," Hosoi admitted as she shot Obito a look. "Apparently, it's her gramps who's dropping her off."

His eyes widened before he leaned forward. "Is that so?" The quirkless man said with interest. "I never considered it but this means I and Heiya-san are related, distant grand siblings of sorts."

"Wait, that's right!" Hachika gawked along with the others as Ippan looked a bit surprised. "You and her are basically siblings!"

"Easy, that's going too far."

"It's still a hell of a connection," Keigo said. "What do you think, Geten-san?" He asked Taira's most personal bodyguard.

The parka-covered man shrugged. "It's just life," he said while looking at Obito with an impossible-to-discern look. 'Re-Destro, what of beings like him?' Geten thought.

The showing from the tank that he'd seen of Obito Uchiha's strength was startling even now, learning more about him from outside of that medical room had left him completely frazzled.

Quirkless people potentially had natural powers, it was the best way to put it.

Wherein one might call quirks a mutation, even if nowadays they were also considered 'natural', quirkless people with these more seamless powers, he supposed, meant that society was going to get out of hand.

Perhaps things were going the way of their ideals?

Traveling further into the mountain range of Fukuoka, things got curious as they got into the forested areas alongside it and noted the barest bits of civilized living in the distances.

"Villages," Obito realized. "Shacks, wooden huts, and everything," he was honestly surprised as Ippan peeked with him to gasp at them. "It's honestly curious to think about, that there's such advancements in technology yet we still have those who choose to live a simpler life."

"It's a bit comforting," his girlfriend beamed as he nodded. "Life doesn't really need to be complicated, I think that's neat," Ippan said.

Continuing on, their ride came to a stop an hour later once they reached a large plateau on one side of the mountain.

It was clearly manmade, what with the large wooden half-built temple, the half-paved walkways, and then the border between civilized and nature of this 100-meter-sized clearing.

Stopping on one side, they departed from the special vehicle to look out at the other carriers, trucks, buses, or RVs bordering the space.

"Alright, Shoda-san should be here soon," Aki said as four other producers left the tank car.

"It's what it is," one of them, a large man with broad shoulders, said with a series of white bands on his black suit's thighs. "Hmm, we're supposed to coordinate, though," he said with his perfectly bald head in view.

It shined like no other and that had Hosoi snorting as Sensoji's smirk found itself on his face.

"H-Hey, Oni-san," the bobcat grinned at her producer as he nodded, a pair of small horns popping out of his forehead and just making the baldness worse. "Oh man."

"It's nothing so complicated, we'll just start the meeting ahead of time," Taira's producer said with a shift of her thick-lensed glasses. "Taira-chan, prepare for another glamorous debut."

"Yes!" Taira grinned as that thin yet tall woman walked forward in her brown boots… And tripped.

Aki sweatdropped as the weasel helped her up. "Kana-chan… Please stop hurting yourself," he pleaded as the woman's glasses sat tilted on her embarrassed, boyish, face that revealed crystal-like eyes before she stumbled to put them on.

"I-I am!" She squeaked with red skin.

"I'm concerned."

"It's what it is," Habami smirked. "With my own producer having to go elsewhere, you're my contact once more, Aki-san."

"I see, I'd wondered why he wasn't around," the blinged-out man said. "Very well. Still, Oni-dono was right, where is the director and the leading stars?"

Obito looked around before raising a brow at the other vehicles in the distance.

And then those peeking eyes from the treeline, the eyes belonging to what had to be a little girl and then what looked like a big-for-his-age boy.

With this distance, Obito could barely make out the boy's, at least, tan skin and black eyes on his oddly-shaped head before his attention was taken away by one of those other-side buses opening up to let out a trio.

One of whom was clearly their manager/producer/potential protector as he adjusted the cream-colored tie of his blueberry-colored suit, his hands covered by some fingerless black gloves, and his feet covered by black boots. Being a tall man of powerful build, he had tan skin, a handsome face, blue eyes, elf-like ears, and slicked-back dark blue hair… Wait.

The closer he got, the more Ippan's head tilted and Obito's eyes slowly widened.

"Wait… Raiju-sensei?" The two asked as one in disbelief as the man's lightning-marked cheeks twitched with a smile.

"You two, it's been a week," he laughed sheepishly.

"Sensei, what are YOU doing here?!" The kitsune gawked while the quirkless man nodded.

"This was NOT expected," he said.

"Yes, well, I'm not as unfamiliar with your sides of life as you think," Raiju smiled sheepishly. "Honestly, I've been working as an off-and-on producer/protector for around eight years," he explained before gesturing behind him. "And these two are the rising stars of the movie, 'Kami Den'."

The first of the two women behind him scoffed at the group before her eyes narrowed at Ippan in… Challenge? The kitsune's head tilted in confusion as the much shorter woman scoffed with crossed arms and her nose turned away.

As noted before, she was short and had fair skin covered in freckles, short pink hair, and sharp yellow eyes. Wearing a dark purple jacket, a shin-length black unitard with a yellow line going down the sides, white sneakers, and a pair of star-shaped earrings, she looked back at them.

"Ann Amamiya," she told them curtly.

"And this one, here, is Flare Faust," Raiji presented the second woman who looked at Obito with a keen interest.

She was a much taller-stroke of a woman, being around Obito's height, with tan skin, long messy red hair tied into a ponytail, and sharp yellow eyes. Wearing a pair of brown boots, black shorts, a long-sleeved red top, and a short black coat, she actually had something curious on her hip.

And she seemed proud about it as she smirked at his eyes going to her side. "Noticed it, aye?" She said smugly as she flicked the weapon up and out.

Obito held Butsuri up and repelled it without looking like he was trying, the woman scrutinizing him while catching it.

"So, you're that weirdo," she noted.

Obito's expression went flat as Oboro pat his shoulder with Keigo.

"It's the norm," they said in unison.

"Ugh, I'm guessing these are the stars," Obito said, ignoring their laughter. "So, what made you want to try me?" He asked Flare who grinned.

"I'm a bit of a fan," she admitted as Ann rolled her eyes. "There's only so few people who don't know about you, Quirkless Sword," Flare declared as Obito sweatdropped. "Some think you're a fad-nut, others think you're crazy, and then there's ones like me who are gonna remove your 'sword' from the title."

"And that meanssss?"

"We want to beat you."

"That's surprising," Obito said, eyebrow raised.

"Oh, YEAH, like you wouldn't believe. I mean, one of the other guards here is just like me!"

"You mean the man in the trees?" He pointed up as a whistle-like tune filled the air. "I almost didn't notice him but his ability to blend in would have been far more effective if he knew how to hide his presence better."

"That so?~" A voice echoed out around them.

"Ah, that's him," Raiju said with crossed arms and a stern disposition. "That's enough, come down, Hoshi-san."

"I mean-" The disembodied voice spoke again.

There was a twinge in Obito's senses.

The next moment, his eyes burned and he vanished.

"-I can't help it," a voice from behind the trio said as the sound of sliding steel reached their ears.

Raiju sighed with static-flickering eyes while his wards jumped before turning to find Obito's weapon locking down one man who leaned back on his tip-toes… While the quirkless young man braced his weapon's sheath against another's neck as their sickle settled halfway towards his neck with Keigo holding one of his weaponized feathers at that one's neck.

"That's not nice," the winged boy grinned lazily at that short figure while Obito pressed his one-handed weight down on the first assailant whose feet crunched into the floor.

"W-What's with this STRENGTH!?" He bellowed before there was a flicker of sparks from their clashing weapons.

Obito's eyes widened as those sparks roared greater than they should have and turned into coiling balls of fire.

The quirkless man kicked back while Keigo stumbled at his suppressed target reappearing behind him like a phantom.

"Whoa?!" He turned and repelled one of their sicles with his feather before yelping at how heavy it was. 'What is with this guy?!' Keigo thought before shooting into the air with a single flap of his powerful wings.

He came down besides Obito's standing form before the latter noticed the burnt edges of his top.

'So, I finally met a potentially problematic flame-user,' Obito thought as Keigo rubbed his left shoulder.

'That guy's weapons… No, I think he, and everything he touched, just became so heavy it was like hitting a steel wall,' the bird boy thought. 'He's likely able to increase his weight in an instant but that speed doesn't make sense.'

Their two opponents grouped-up.

"Shirou Hoshi," Raiju called out, getting a bit of a chuckle out of the first assailant who stood with his tachi returned to its sheath.

He was a tall man, likely a few inches taller than Obito was, with a conical straw hat, a mantled white cloak, a pair of black pants, and a set of white cloth boots. He tilted his hat that revealed his semi-tan skin with a few wrinkles, white eyes with a shifting glow in them, and short white hair that led into a bushy ponytail.

"It's fine, Raiju, it's fine!" Shirou smiled. "Why, it's not like we're trying to hurt anyone but MAN does that guy have some strength!" He laughed nervously as Obito's weapon was slowly returned to its sheath. "Geez, Kim, it's like he's a whole different beast from what we could glean from a month back."

'Kim', as one would have it, was seemingly the short woman who'd repelled Keigo. Having short black hair that almost covered all of her head and face, her fair-skinned nose, lips, and purple eye were all that showed from the parted portion above her left eyebrow. Wearing what looked like actual black shinobi shozoku minus the head covering with steel forearm guards, shin guards, and a metal plate tied to a headband on her forehead, she had her sickles crossed on her lower-back.

"The one many speak of," she declared, weapons gripped. "He's from Yoroi Musha's school, we need to handle him."

"At ease, Young Star," Shirou smiled while leaning on her shoulder, the short one looking utterly unbothered. "Your day will come, for now, we may have displeased Raiju-san."

Kim's body relaxed before she stood and bowed to the lightning-quirked man.

"You can come back," the teacher told Obito & Keigo, who did as offered, their eyes on the newcomers. "Hoshi-san and his apprentice are a bit rowdy but they're good protectors," Raiju explained as Ippan's shoulders drooped in relief.

"I'm not a fan," Obito said as Keigo's feather returned to his wings.

"That ain't a fun greeting," the bird boy declared.

"It's how we vet," Shirou explained. "Shirou Hoshi, at your service. This is my youngling, my apprentice, my Young Star!" He gestured to the pouting Kim. "Kim Hoshi!"

"Master, that's enough," she told him as her eye glared at Obito. "Not in front of the enemy."

"Easy there, no 'enemy', just fellow guards!"

"Hmph."

'Something tells me that she's not a fan,' Obito thought. 'Her quirk's so dense,' he thought.

"Good, good," Flare cupped her chin with a smirk. "I'm gonna get all the info I can out of you."

"Keep trying."

"Ooh, a challenge!"

Ann scoffed before her eyes went to Ippan's relieved smile. "..." She crossed her arms.

"Now, with this all handled," Raiju said. "The producer's been running late due to picking up Nagabiko-san and her guard."

"That explains it," Ippan realized. "I-I thought it was weird that they weren't here yet. We know they're with Nagabiko-chan's grandfather but we didn't know one of the producers went."

"Yes, Asuka-san is rather uncooperative," the man said weakly.

"We know," most of the group agreed almost immediately.

Having moved a large number of tables into the middle of the clearing, all parties had finally left their trailers or arrived.

Asuka lifted her sunglasses as she looked at the gathered group with a disappointed scoff. "What a lumbering lot-kon," she uttered.

The other security or guards looked annoyed.

"Please, let's not do this," the second-oldest person there, the movie's producer/director, said with a clap of his hands. "Honestly, he's such a peculiar one," he said, his olive skin wrinkled and just smooth-looking.

Being a short man amongst all the much larger ones, he had a short head of gray hair, a gruff expression, and a scar on his cheek. Wearing a white dress shirt, black slacks, and brown sneakers, he had a small dagger on his left thigh.

Obito felt the man's presence was far greater than most of the others' by a mile. 'He's not some simple director,' he realized as Ippan sniffed the air.

"H-He smells like you," she whispered to him, confusing him. "His scent is strong," Ippan said.

That explained it but did that mean his quirk was also spirit-related? Or had Obito introduced Ippan to a new type of smell?

"Now, you're all gathered here to help support our two stars, Ann & Flare," the man said while slapping the large table, the sun beating down on them. "Our movie, Kami Den, is one set in the era before even vigilantism had become more acceptable but no less despised, the Ten Year War," he explained as his eyes locked onto Obito's form. 'Todou, that's your grandkid, huh?' The man could see it in him.

That young man was a beast in the making and, apparently from Asuka's words, he was already 'further along' than any of her other family members.

"I'm sure you're all aware but this isn't the time for playing around. This movie is set to release in two years' time and we're half-done already but the big portions are, in fact, the fighting that represent that era. The modernity of it all doesn't make this movie stand out, not in its language," he explained. "But the fighting can help frame it in such a less-smoothed-out light."

"Shoda-san, this structure's the scene?" Raiju asked.

"Yeah, old temples got heavily emphasized in those ten years, it was almost like time had rewinded to the point that we'd actually been in feudal times. So, we recreated one with all the half-built construction you could imagine which is going to be important. There's a reason so many of you have such elemental or strong quirks. By the end of this shooting!" Shoda slapped the table, cracking it. "This damn temple is gonna be DESTROYED!"

Ippan looked alarmed while Obito cupped his chin. "S-Seriously!?" She yelped.

"Yep, the world nowadays is more destructive than it's ever been. Even a group of ten guys with strong quirks could decimate this 100-foot-structure within days. We emphasized these points for people to see just how dangerous these times were."

She tried to wrap her head around it.

"It's simply more of the 'setting'," Obito explained to her as Keigo hummed. "Remember, these were unchecked times. It was the time where the world might have literally fallen into chaos if things hadn't evened out with those few strong but righteous individuals."

"It's a whole lotta history I don't really get," the bird boy said. "How? With how much crap was going on, how'd it get organized?"

"For one, there's more than enough people in this world who'd have gained quirks and had a sense of 'right'," the quirkless man explained with a raised finger. "Secondly, you're thinking is too narrow, who said it was only good people trying to reign things in?" Obito explained as Keigo's eyes widened. "Exactly," he said, ticking his second and then third fingers. "There's too much 'power' up for grabs by that point. The government, the people, criminals, yakuza, foreign powers, and more, it was basically a basket. Anyone good enough to grab those they could, they'd have the most 'power'."

"Good understanding, kid," Shoda smirked. "The world doesn't really get this ONE thing: Before All Might, LONG before him, we were already on the brink of destruction. There was no 'All Might' to reign in the craziness, that's the world we need to re-create."

That got a few murmurs and slightly nervous stares.

"Good, you're grasping it. Now, the first thing we have to do is choose our actors."

That'd had the obvious choices made first.

Habami beamed with stars in her eyes while Hosoi grinned sheepishly beside a smug Taira.

Ryuuki adjusted her glasses while Flare smirked and Ann stretched her arms.

"The obvious ones," the short rosette said as her eyes went to her side. "Nagabiko Heiya, right?" She asked the just-as-short woman beside her.

She was slender with big red mouse ears atop her noggin that matched her short crimson-colored hair. Having pale skin, black eyes, and a beauty mark under her lip, she wore a simple long-sleeved white top, black shorts that had a mouse's tail coming out of the behind, and a pair of heel-like boots.

"Y-Yes," she said while nervously looking at her apathetic grandmother. "Mmm…" Her eyes went to the chatting trainees and their guards.

To Obito Uchiha, her eyes going up and down his form as her ears twitched.

She heard his soul and felt her body quake at the sheer strength of it.

'I-It's like listening to jii-chan,' she thought in shock.

Meanwhile, with the quirkless man-in-question, Obito looked at Ippan. "Thoughts?" He asked his girlfriend.

"I… I'm not sure if I'd fit a part in this," she admitted. "From what I remember of these times, the only mutant quirks you'd see w-weren't doing great things," Ippan told her boyfriend.

"I understand but, Ippan-chan, there's such a thing as just a 'role'," he said.

"Yeah, b-but my acting's honestly not that good anyway."

"Hmm, that's fair."

"Now, onto more curious matters," Shoda said as he looked at Asuka. "You up for this, Asuka-chan?"

"Flattery, Tsuyoyou, will do a lot," she tilted her shades before shrugging. "... But only if the boy comes, I know how your scenes are written," Asuka declared while those dagger-like eyes of hers went to Obito. "There might be some skill in this lot but nothing impressive, he's the only one that stands out as a swordsman."

And, of course, Obito would forever curse that hag.

Because 'targets locked in'.

"That kid?" One guard said.

"Ain't she just trying to dig him in?" Another hissed.

"Sounds like he couldn't do much without his mum," a third smirked.

More and more of such words were passed as Obito's eyebrow trembled while Shouta shook his head.

"What a loose-lipped bunch," he said as Hizashi chuckled. "And she's no better."

"It's obvious she's just trying to rally them against me," Obito said. "If I wanted to give a single damn by some mouthbreathing locals, I'd have found the countryside. At least, over there, life's a lot simpler."

"You got something to say to us, kid?!" One of them roared.

"You think he heard me?" Obito asked a laughing Keigo, his intent all but clear. "I think he heard me."

"You're damn right!" Another said.

More agreements came in while Tsuyoyou shook his head.

"Damn it all, woman, what did he do to you recently?" He asked in amusement as Asuka shrugged.

"Be a brat," she said.

"Listen, you all," Shinji tried to defuse the situation. "Come now, we're all grown men here. To let such words get to us is not within our characters," he said kindly, wisely, and manipulatively.

"Oh, he's good," Keigo whispered as Obito shook his head and Nemuri snickered.

The guards looked unsure of their recent words before one came forward and gestured to Obito with what had to be a monkey's hand.

"Then, we beat him, we get his part," he declared, his Shinji-height not to be underestimated.

"He's huge!" Ippan whispered in shock as he smirked before winking at her. "... No," she shook her head.

Obito's eyebrows furrowed. "Ideally, move back, last warning," he offered.

"And will you do, tiny man?"

The quirkless one released a single breath.

"I know how that weapon works, kid, you ain't got enough strength gathered to bea-"

A clinking blade echoed in his ear as Obito crouched behind him.

"You talk far too much," the quirkless male said.

There was earth-shattering gong before the monkey man's body hit the ground like a wrecking ball, the icing on this proverbial cake being Obito taking a seat on his shoulder.

"There's not a single one of you here who's worth a damn outside of my group," Obito declared coldly. "If I'd have wanted a worthless opinion, I'd have asked any one of you mouthbreathers a while ago," he said as his taunter choked on his unconscious breath. "But, please, if you all have such big mouths let's see where this goes."

It was a massacre of hilarious proportions.

Twenty men in, twenty matches later, twenty MINUTES later, Obito rolled his neck as he shot Asuka a flat glare.

The last man, one who'd had an obsidian skin quirk, went limp in his face-down ground-planted position.

"Are you happy, woman? Do you understand how much bullshit you put me through?" Obito cursed at the disappointed Asuka.

"I expected a bit more, you lot are pathetic," she scoffed at the embarrassed, or unconscious, guards. "But I guess I'm to blame, you reached the Second Tomoe. I should have realized this would be a moot point but I hoped for a bit more bruising, maybe around your face-kon."

"Bite me."

"W-Why's he so strong?!" Nagabiko yelped as Hosoi looked sheepish.

"Would you believe he wasn't this crazy the other day? Turns out, he's gotten stronger since then," she considered. "It's really like manga sometimes."

"What?!"

"Hehe~ He's a hottie with power, nothing crazy," Taira smirked at the embarrassed mouse. "You're as easy as usual!" She barked with tears in her eyes, the weasel wiped her eye. "Oh, you're so innocent."

Nagabiko steamed while Ryuuki's eyes furrowed in thought.

'She's right,' the lizard woman thought. 'He wasn't this strong three days ago,' could Obito Uchiha have done this before?

Yes, in a surprising amount of facts and feats, she did believe he could have handled this 20-man roundabout but the amount of wounds he would have taken should have been far greater.

"Is this 'that thing'?" Keigo asked in confusion. "You basically beat them all WAY too easily," he said in alarm as Obito looked at one of his hands with a focused stare. 'It's like there's pressure around him,' a feeling of the spirit, he guessed.

What was this guy gonna end up as by the end of the year alone?

"I'm looking forward to sparring with everyone," Obito said simply. "This is all new to me as well, I know there's something here," he told them. "The 'Second Tomoe', what did she mean?" He muttered.

"Maybe it's something to do with your spirit?" Ippan offered him a towel with a curious smile, Obito wiping his face with it to clean off more dust than sweat. "That's what it all seems to be."

"Spirit control, I suppose."

"And, like that, I guess you're in, Todou brat," Tsuyoyou said as Obito's eyes widened before snapping up to see his grin. "I'll have ya know, boy, there are lots of tough guys your gramps knows."

"Wait, you knew… That's why you went. You're familiar with my grandparents, aren't you, Shoda-san?" Obito asked.

"Yep, me and your gramps used to watch each other's backs in the past," the director said, surprising the group.

"Geez, who's his gramps?" Nemuri asked.

"Nice try."

"Damn," she snapped her finger disappointedly. "Still, like, no seriously. His gramps knows some REAL crazy 'big' people," the heroine said, her eyes going to Asuka chatting with her granddaughter.

"There's a lot of history there, young lady," he said as she smirked. "That crazy woman's been a big admirer of your grandfather since she was a teen, I mean, she's almost ten years older than him."

"That's rather worrying," Obito said.

"Bah, nothing so crazy with crazy old-fashioned folks like us. Besides, she was quite the crazy 'sword saint' even back then and had some pretty feudal values. Turns out, beating her in a fight was basically a proposal and then its history."

"... No, I won't accept any of that," the quirkless one said with a trembling brow.

"Eh, you're young, you'll get it one day."

"The hell I will."

Twenty more minutes of choosing had ended with him, Takeshita, Keigo, and even Shouta in new attire.

"Aren't we just Shinsengumi?" The winged one asked, a pair of wooden wakizashi on his hips as he tugged on his haori. "This feels like we're just the Shinsengumi."

His words were understandable as they all wore matching red haoris that fell to their thighs and bore a flower emblem in between their shoulder blades. Wearing long-sleeved white tops that were neatly-tucked into black track pants, wooden shin guards, their choice of footwear, and wooden weapons, the four stood atop the faux temple.

"I'm glad Ippan could get a part," Obito said as his own wooden nodachi sat on his waist while his weaponry sat in his metal bands, the former shinobi securing a white headband around his noggin.

Unlike the others' clothes, his attire was slightly altered to match a 'head member' of their group.

His haori had no sleeves, he wore this headband, his top had flowy sleeves, and his hands were covered by his black gloves. With his efforts from earlier, this had apparently been the role he'd been given.

The head of the 'approaching future heroes' group, the Akagumi, an old group of 'red hot' passion that brought the first change to the setting of Japan's Ten Year War.

Obito finished tying it how he was told to before letting those two long tails wave in the manmade wind, flying drones and quirk-users catching them on camera.

"So, we're descending from the rooftops," Takeshita recited, a wooden spear on his back. "We're arriving on the scene as the first-ever 'lights' to bring people hope that there are do-gooders around," he reminded them as Shouta messed with his wooden knife.

"I get that, it makes a lot of sense," he said. "Still, why'd I get chosen?" The man groaned.

"Because we're supposed to be a four-man team and we needed more mute hair colors," Keigo grinned. "Besides that? Ya kinda need to know how to use a blade and you were perfect!"

"What about Shirou-san?"

"He's working on the 'opposing team'. We barely had enough numbers for this," Takeshita explained with a sheepish laugh.

There was a pop of a balloon in the air.

"It's 'Go' time."
