The battle between Berserker and the crimson shadow Caster summoned continues, her Master watching at the side as it does. Cuts stain her fair skin, and the approaching red closes in with every exchange. After buying herself an opening, her gaze moves, a motion very promptly halted.

"Jan!" Maverick shouts as he gets closer to the shadow, who he identified as a woman in seemingly Western armor. His call prompts the saint's gaze to shift back to the enemy, and she once again pauses.

While the enemy's blade was released, it forewent its initial target, and now, as she stares, acquires a new one.

"No!" Berserker shouts, and her fire rises between the enemy and her Master. The enemy once again turns and swings, and fire erupts at where the French Servant stands, with her barely avoiding a familiar fate.

However, with the opening, her enemy once again turns and swings her blade. The barricade between the shadow and its target is extinguished, and the young man shifts his gaze before taking a deep breath and speaking.

"Jan, I am sorry…" As the shadow reaches him, his Servant's eyes widen, with her then glaring at the enemy and roaring. Her flames surround and stop the enemy, and she responds. "About what…"

Her Master stares at her as she glares at him. Yet, despite the anger, something else can be seen in her eyes. At this scene, he wipes his sweat and takes a deep breath.

"I… I really wasn't a good Master. I wanna say it's because I am not a mage, but in truth… You… you mean too much to me." The Berserker stares at the young man, and he goes on. "I mean…" Another inhale, "My life was, well, shit before I met you and… and you changed that."

The enemy breaks free of her bind, before another one rises, and the flames' wielder continues to talk.

"That night… after we met that shitty Archer… why were you so scared of me…" While staring, her Master responds. "You mean Uathach?" The Berserker sighs and nods. "Uh…" He sighs, "You kicked me, right there to boot."

She looks away, and the enemy is once again free, and her Master sighs before smiling at her. As he remains standing, he turns to the enemy before pausing. The red shadow has changed her target, and the young man, while clenching his teeth, cautiously follows her. As he does, Berserker's flames ascend once more.

"Um…" She pauses as his gaze stops on her, "Just uh…" She scratches her cheek, "You know… Sorry…" Her Master stares at her. While she started with a tongue they share, she did not end with it. Yet he sighs and smiles.

"I am gonna guess you are trying to apolo-" "Argh!" She cuts him off, the fire that entraps their enemy rising into the sky as she does. He chuckles at the eruption, with her covering her face and looking away from him.

"All right. Just…" He massages his head, "Guess I really worried you…" Despite the barriers, he sees her response, and he sighs. He moves towards her, and she too sighs before lowering her walls.

The two smile as they get close, before her eyes widen. The sight prompts him to turn around, and he is greeted with a blast of flame. While his Servant intercepts with her own, the orange inferno towers over the black.

Servant and Master focus on what's ahead of them, with him chewing on his thumb before his eyes widen.

"Jan." He pauses. "Kinda fucking busy!" He chuckles and continues. "Is there something bothering you?" "The fuck do you mean?!" "Remember what Caster chanted before she summoned the shadow?" "No!" "Well, something about telling a being of pain to destroy his root."

After he speaks, his Servant looks ahead for a short while before turning to the side, and the orange fire intensifies, pushing her back. "Jan!" "Argh! Ya!" As her struggle continues, he, despite her looking ahead, smiles at her. "Listen, I promise I will be with you as long as you need me. It might be difficult, but hey, the Holy Grail grants wishes, right?"

His Servant looks down after he speaks, and he feels something. Heat. Thoughts. Emotions. Power.

His partner's flames then swallow the opposition before holding the enemy still, with her then turning around. She glares at him, but he continues to smile, prompting her sigh. With his cheeriness rubbing on her, she looks up into the sky. "Go where you want…" While unable to understand her, he continues to smile, and she turns to their enemy.

Her partner backs away, and black fires once again erupt out of her.

"O dragon born of the darkest night, break all bounds," She runs ahead, only to pause as she encroaches the struggling enemy. A certain warmth then fills her, and she takes a deep breath before grinning, "Forge my path! Völkermord Feuerdrache!"

After the dragon and its victim vanishes, the young man continues to smile despite the intent to burn in his partner's eyes, prompting her to sigh. After looking away and smiling for a while, she turns to where Caster ran off to, and his eyes widen.

"Uh, say," He says as she carries him. "Ya?" "About like, the British, do you hate them?" She pauses at the question, and as she looks away, he frowns at her. "Ja-" "Um, let's talk about all this another time, okay? We really should focus on that asshole right now." He stares at her.

"Asshole as in…" "Well, him!" He chuckles and she goes on. "Look, it's how I talk, okay?!" He continues to laugh before speaking up. "Alright. Alright. Let's talk later, okay? Gotta save that asshole first." "Hmph!"

As she runs ahead, he continues to watch her, before he inhales and looks ahead.

"Artoria…" Her Master says as they work together to remove Hercules' arrow from her shoulder. After he roared and fired, his arrow flew at her, breaking through her barrier and sinking into her shoulder. Now, as Master and Servant wield magic, the girl shows a response contrasting the woman's.

Also, her other allies have all paused, say for Rider's knights. "All of you," The mounted knight speaks up with an altered voice, "I know fear grips you, and it is fair, for our foe is powerful. But we must fight, for we will not win otherwise." Saber and Uathach stare at their ally, who then continues. "Rise and fight warriors, let us grasp victory!"

After the roar, Saber continues to stare as Uathach looks down. White light then covers Uathach, and she rises and runs. As she does, the knights that spawn around her also advance, covered in the same aura.

Meanwhile, white light also covers Adda, and after the arrow exits her Servant's body, the latter's wound closes instantaneously.

Now in pristine condition, the Englishgirl holds her staff and chants. "O elves who roam the land, aid me in battle!" Red light proceeds to cover the members of the coalition, with said light radiating out of the knight's leader rather than the knights themselves.

With the enhancment, the mounted Servant watches the spell wielding Servant, but swiftly turns back to the battle.

As for Saber, he takes a deep breath before turning to the battle. The enemy, after using an arrow to swat away an attacker who struck him, roars and fires. At the scene, the swordsman takes another deep breath and advances, with white light also radiating out of him as he does.

"Tartarus take you!" The Greek Servant shouts as he releases another shot, and while his target is again wounded, she once more cooperates with her Master to undo his work. He growls after watching the scene, and as he turns back to his other enemies, he stares.

In front of him, Saber kneels on one knee.

Just now…

As Hercules aims at Caster, Saber brings himself closer to the god-like being. "Men of swords, let your spirit shine. Let your passion rise. Let your fire light my blade!" After he chants, he kneels down and Hercules, having ignored him, turns away from Caster before staring at him.

Now…

His enemy stabs his rapier upwards, the weapon shining as he does. In response, Heracles intercepts with his bow. While the parry is successful, unbeknownst to the son of Zeus, his enemy's weapon sinks into his own. Then, the enemy drags his weapon across Heracles'.

"Rar!" The Archer roars, ignoring his enemy's endeavor and punching him, sending him flying. Then, he again uses his arrow to parry incoming attacks. An opening presents itself after he does, and his eyes return to his prey.

"Archer, wai-" Ignoring his Master, he readies for a shot, and eyes the fruit of his labor.

Part of his bow breaks off, attached to the string that he pulled backwards. "Ahahahaha!" He hears Uathach laugh, and as she approaches, he swings his arrow at her. After the exchange, he growls.

He managed to stop his own anger, allowing him to avoid a fatal blow. Light then covers and closes his wounds, pushing the bone spears out as it does. "The fuck?!" The attacker shouts, before her enemy grabs her by her face. "Archer, calm down!"

Once again, his Master is ignored. Instead, he chucks the woman he grabbed. While he was aiming at the girl in the distance, the projectile ends up hitting the ground long before reaching its destination.

On the other end, as Hercules growls at the result of his feat, his magic wielding enemy begins to chant. "O, Seer of woes, descend on my foe, and bestow him throes."

Red light surrounds the Archer, prompting him to grunt while pushing on his forehead. Yet, his enemies' advance does not halt, what's left of his enemy anyways. Thus, his wooden club replaces his broken weapon.

As the knights advance, their leader surveys their other allies, both of which are downed, a sight prompting the mounted Servant to turn back to the battle and shout. "My knights, forward! Grasp victory!" After the shout, light again covers the warriors.

While swatting away the crowd, Heracles continues to watch the girl he has been firing at, panting as he does. He then grunts and falls to one knee, and Rider roars once more. Despite the hail of steel closing in, the giant's focus remains on one place, and with his entire being immobile, his lips move.

Some distance away, with his connection to his Servant allowing him to know what happened, Diamandis presses on his chest, panting as he does.

At the same time, in another location, while being carried by his partner and having no idea of 'an asshole's' battle, Maverick swears he feels the earth shake. His partner pauses and looks at him, but he shrugs his shoulders, prompting her to turn back to the road and continue.
