Dimension N-004, Amity Park
Running through the hospital in a hurry were Danny, Tucker and Sam, followed by Danny's sister and parents who drove to the Amity Park hospital when they just heard from Valerie's father, Damon Gray that his daughter was found just a few hours when she went missing. They had no idea where she went after saving the Earth but were relieved, she was found and safe.
Danny opened the door to find her father standing beside the sleeping Valerie in bed.
"Mr. Gray, is Valerie okay?" Danny asked out of concern for his crush, hoping she isn't still mad at him after finding out his secret.
"Did something happen to her?" Sam had no idea what condition she was in to be brought to the hospital.
"Valerie's okay, she just suddenly appeared out of this portal and collapsed. I brought her here, said something urgent and wanted to talk to you right away." Damon gazes at his daughter, relieved that she was safe but what happened to her made him dread to think something awful happened. "Whatever it was, she had this in her hand and wanted you to see it." Pulls out of his pocket and shows them some sort of flash drive.
Tucker, being a techno genius, takes it in his hand to examine it. "It's a flash drive but looks a little advanced."
"But look at the bruises." Jazz noticed some on her arms, it was as if she was in some fight. "What could have done this?"
Danny looks at Tucker finding other things from Valerie's bag. "Tucker, wouldn't do that if I were you even if you're the mayor now."
"I know, but look at this, this tech is way ahead of anything today." The young mayor smiled excitedly, as if he was a kid on Christmas and pulled out a small pad in his hand that caught his attention. "Is this a phone? A Computer maybe? Wow, it looks way more advanced than my PDA!" He now wanted to ask her where she found such amazing technology and gadgets. His friends rolled their eyes.
"Uuhh, wha…"
They realized Valerie was waking up, her eyes fluttering as she opened them. "Where… dad?"
"It's okay, sweetie. You're safe."
She was relieved to know it wasn't a dream and her father was here beside her. But she couldn't help but worry about something else. "Danny… is he…"
"I'm here." Danny answers, while a little awkwardly with his ex. "Uh, guess you know about me being… the ghost kid."
"I'm not mad… but I had to come back… Clockwork… showed me."
This caught Danny and his friends by surprise upon the mention of the ghost master of time. "Clockwork? You met him?!"
She had no time to explain, she was still tired after being cured from the nanites from Rex and woozy from the dimensional travel. But she knew it was urgent to avert the terrible things that could happen to her timeline and fear what would happen if his… other self comes into action. "That flash drive… it's got information you need to look into and be ready. You can talk with Skulker if you find him, he'll… know what it is and know where Dani is…"
"Skulker?" Jack, Danny's father asked out of confusion until his daughter answered.
"Ghost hunter who roams the Ghost Zone and has been hunting Danny ever since."
"Danny, no time to argue. That flash drive you have will answer everything and we need this world ready before… they come."
"They? Who's they? More ghosts?" Sam thought, unless it was Plasmius' plot for revenge.
Danny hoped not after all they had been through, especially being told to seek out Skulker of all ghosts in the Zone. "Better hope not."
Valerie shakes her head. "No… Grimm."
She just hoped they had a chance to avert the crisis.

"So exactly what is it that's happening, Forge? How could our timeline be affected." Shard asked.
"When you both were flowing through the time stream after defeating Apocolypse, our history was slightly altered." Forge explains to Bishop and Shard of what happened.
So far, he remembered sending Shard to rescue her brother. Nothing much had changed in their timeline, but afraid it will not last long until their timeline be changed permanently. "We've been picking up temporal anomalies recently and received a message a while ago of a warning. The barriers between realities have weakened by outside interference of a scientist who created an inter-dimensional gate." Forge continued typing on the computer and brought up a visual image of the man responsible for the mess. "His name was Victor Van Kleiss. Found himself and his followers in another version of our earth but different. And now his knowledge is in the hands of a foe far more dangerous and powerful than we have ever faced."
"Worse than Apocalypse? Great, just when I thought things couldn't get any better." Bishop couldn't believe it, but seeing the images displayed of the historical events, monsters running and terrising cities across the world, heroes and villains facing them. Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and especially the X-men confronting them.
"What are they?" The time travelling mutant pondered.
"Grimm. From my world." A voice said from behind them.
Stepping into the room appeared to be an adult young woman with very long purple hair, wearing a purple and white themed suite and a pair of goggles. "Yeah, sorry for the surprise, names Sky Entrapta Gilligan, most call me Entrapta." She took a step further in surprising the siblings as a tendril of her hair extended to her like an arm. She looked amused of what she unintentionally did and pulled it back when she intended to use her hand "Oh, sorry, force of habit. But I've always been so fascinated by time travel, I've wanted to see if it could be proven until now."
Bishop had no idea whether to take this woman seriously... or if she was a weirdo. Entrapta cleared her throat when realising she was moving from the main subject. "Sorry, need to focus. Saving the future, and realities. Okay, to help speed this up, here's something you need to know. I am from another reality called Dimension G-007 and in my reality, things are a lot more different... and complicated if you catch my drift."
"Indeed, Entrapta isn't a mutant despite having powers like us, but different to ours." Forge tells them. "I've called the other heroes, Spiderling, Hope, and current members of the Avengers and the X-men have offered their support should the dire threat escalates."
"If you need some help to save the future, count me in." To protect his world and the future, Bishop won't back down as he done so before.
Entrapta nodded her head with approval hat is decision to help. "Great! I got the blueprints and the prototypes ready with the help of Clovis on their experience." She knew she was showing her enthusiastic side when it came to anything scientific and technological research but couldn't help herself. "Can't have anyone having an accident or lost in time... but will need some help, and if you're going in, there are a few things you will need to know and what you're about to face. Not just the Grimm, but other forces."

Nergal snarled at the Gem Fusion known as Sunstone as she flexed her muscles. "You were annoying enough separated."
"You'll never separate us, you bully." Sunstone said with a thumbs-up and her glasses flashing.
"Oh really?" Nergal grinned as he stood up. "I'll settle for flattening you instead."
Deep in the center of the Earth where the Cluster resided, the battle with Nergal was continuing with neither side seemingly winning. With the no addition of Sunstone, the battle was pretty much even and Nergal was growing annoyed.
How were these mortals still fighting him?
An idiot for the reincarnation of the fallen God of Thunder, a child fused with a couple of Gems, and few more of those walking rocks.
It should have been easy.
'What is with these rodents?' Nergal retracted his tendrils, panting slightly. 'Why won't they die?'
His battle was not the only ongoing one.

Back on the surface, in the Nowhere Mountains the battle between the heroes and the Grimm army continued but several miles away from the mountains, the battle between the Justice Trio and the enemy leader had seemingly reached a stalemate.
"Well, well, this is truly impressive." Sammael remarked as he walked through a pillar of smoke, shaking some dust from his white bone armor. "It's been so long since I've been given the chance to actually stretch my legs and enjoy a good workout."
Major Glory, Valhallen, and Krunk were still willing and able to fight with only some minor scratches on them, despite facing the King of the Grimm himself.
"Man, Old Man Odin was kidding about this guy." Valhallen muttered, remembering what the All-Father had told him about Sammael.
"Oh, trust me, Valhallen. There's a good reason Odin didn't want to involve Asgard in Earthly affairs anymore." Sammael chuckled, stopping a few feet away from the trio. "That old coot is real piece of work and that's coming from me of all people."
"Don't try to distract me, you monster." Valhallen prepared to play a note. "Whatever my old man is guilty of, he's more decent than you'll ever be."
"Keep telling yourself that, Son of Asgard. Your people's time is coming to an end, and I only regret I am not the one who is going to end it." Sammael narrowed his red eyes. "The sad irony of it is that Odin is already on the fast track to dooming his own realm despite desperately trying to prevent it by enchanting that hammer to reincarnate his fallen son and rendering his other one immortal. I only wish I could be there to see the look on his face."
"ENOUGH!" Valhallen played a note, releasing a blast of lightning at Sammael.
However, the Fallen King swung his sword vertically at the lightning, actually cutting it in two.
Just as this happened, SAM-R-I and Gentle-Jim clashed swords before jumping back landing several feet away from each other. As SAM-R-I stood up, Genki Sanban landed next to the armored hero that her husband was the host of, ready to assist him.
Gentle-Jim stood up, wiping some imaginary dust from his shoulder. "Well, isn't this an honor. Genki Sanban, Japan's most famous Huntress."
Genki said nothing, staring stoically at the former Huntsman.
"I knew I would be facing powerful enemies today, but I didn't expect to see you of all people here." Gentle-Jim said with a smile. "The rumors of your skills being rivaled by your beauty, truly do you no justice."
Genki could feel her husband's emotions flare and saw a slightly tightening of his hands around the hilt of his sword. "Gentle-Jim, better known as Sir James of Mexico. You truly are the gentleman the rumors paint you as. It's unfortunate you waste your skills working for someone like Sammael."
"Perhaps, but I see now that my patience has yielded results. Standing before me, two of the greatest warriors on the planet and both walk the way of the sword." Gentle-Jim held up his own sword. "I am sworn by my own honor to follow Sammael until I die, and I hope it will be at the hands of someone's blade."
"You might get your wish." SAM-R-I stated.
"That is why I believe it's time to stop holding back."
(God's Hand by Brandon Yates Starts)
SAM-R-I narrowed his eyes under his mask, an aura of lightning surrounding him as he prepared himself as Gentle-Jim held up two fingers and preformed a slashing motion.
That would have been seen as odd…
If not for the fact that SAM-R-I's electric aura broke, a slash mark appearing on the chest armor which surprised the samurai themed hero.
When it's all said and done,
"GAH!" Sunstone was knocked back by an electric punch, courtesy of a tendril wrapped around Nergal's arm.
The shock was enough to force Sunstone to split back into Steven and Garnet.
There can only be one...
Sammael's sword Oblivion clashed with Valhallen's Mighty Axe, the magical negating effects of his sword cancelling out the Viking God of Rock's lightning.
However, it could not negate Valhallen's strength which rivaled even Sammael's.
Fight on, fight on
And it happened.
Lightning crackled and shot across the sky before giant lightning bolt shot down towards the pair.
"Valhallen!" Major Glory called out, but his concern was more out reflex than being worried for the state of his friend.
BOOM!
Sammael jumped back, watching as the lightning hit Valhallen and the ground around him exploded.
He knew though that the Asgardian was unharmed.
And sure enough, he emerged from the smoke and the scorched black ground surrounding the spot in which they had grappled. His long once blond hair was now spiked and was now glowing cobalt blue and his eyes could be seen, having turned pure white with electricity sparkling around them as well. Small bolts of lightning coiled around his body like serpents, firing off into the air when coming into contact with each other.
Sammael had heard of this new form Valhallen now had and it made him as powerful as his older brother Thor.
Lightning God: Overload Form
Utilizing the power of his Asgardian heritage, Valhallen could absorb lightning directly into his body along his nervous systems, increasing it beyond that of a human nervous system. This increased his speed, reflexes, reaction time, and even his brainwaves to levels no human could have imagined and combined with his Asgardian heritage, his power was boosted to levels only rivaled by his brothers, his father Odin and a handful of other super beings.
Including Sammael.
What do you got, you got to lose?
And it showed when he disappeared and reappeared right in front of Sammael before the King of the Grimm could even blink, taking him by surprise.
"Lightning Palm!" Valhallen sent a palm forward, slamming it into Sammael's chest and sending a burst of electricity through his body.
Sammael grunted, feeling his body burning from the inside as electricity sourced his nervous system and even caused burns marks to appear on his arms and shoulders.
Fight on, fight on
At the same time, Garnet got up and managed to grab Steven, jumping out of the as one of Nergal's tendrils slashed at them.
"I grow tired of this!" Nergal shouted, his four tendrils emerging from his back…and four more appear with two appearing from his elbows and the last two sprouting from the back of his knees. "YOU CAN ALL DIE!"
What do you got, you got to lose?
Negal whipped his tendrils at everyone with such speed it was impossible to see or even sense which direction they were coming from.
Only Garnet was able to tell where the tendrils would hit thanks to her Future Vision.
Holding Steven close to her, she turned and ran, spinning, jumping, twirling and dodging out of the way of each strike but they were all close enough that Garnet's outfit showed cuts and scratches.
"STEVEN!"
Through the darkness I betray my thoughts,
Johnny and Pearl shot forward, Johnny's hammer and Pearl's spear slashing at the tendrils, causing electricity to shoot in all directions with each hit. Nergal grew frustrated as despite everything he did, he could not kill these Gems and a mortal masquerading as a god. Amethyst rushed forward, her whip lashing out and batting away all of Nergal's thoughts as she and Pearl made their way to Garnet and Steven.
"DIE!" Nergal shouted as he retracted his whips and they all converged on the Crystal Gems.
Just to escape this nightmare.
"GUYS!" Steven screamed as Pearl and Amethyst made it to him and Garnet, their arms wrapping around each other as the tendrils converged…
And there was a flash of light.
Using my spear of might, I fight
Just as this happened, back on the surface of Nowhere, Valhallen's Mighty Axe was engulfed by lightning to the point it resembled a spear made of pure electricity. He held it over his shoulder and with all his might, threw at Sammael who held up his sword to block…
And the force of the spear sent him skidding back, his feet leaving deep skid marks on the ground as he slid back but he managed to remain standing. Sammael's sword dispersed the electricity, but the Mighty Axe was engulfed by what felt like a billion volts of electricity that it took over a minute to disperse the energy and even then, Valhallen was not letting up.
You destroy all that's holy, well I'm right here.
He shot forward, grabbing his Mighty Axe as it spun through the air and swung it down on Sammael whose sword met the Asgardian's weapon, the clash sending sparking flying in all directions and highlighting Valhallen's determined face and Sammael taunting grin.
You keep falling FURTHER!
As the two Asgardians faced their opponents, SAM-R-I in the meantime was facing down the swordsman of the Invisible Hand, Sir James who was better known as Gentle-Jim. His wife, Genki stood by his side with a hand over the hilt of her nodachi as electricity gathered and sparked through the hero's blue armor. SAM-R-I brought a hand over the slash mark on his chest armor, realizing that James had somehow been able to cut through his lightning and leave a mark on his armor.
Not many people were capable of that.
Falling into DESPAIR!
Only Sir James was ready for him, holding his sword in one hand and a green Wind Dust crystal in the other hand.
"Secret Sword." He whispered as he shot forward, preforming a slashing mark with the hand holding the Dust crystal.
Both Genki and SAM-R-I jumped in opposite directions and just in time as a deep slash mark cut its way into the ground where they had stood.
You fall, you try, to make it out alive
Gentle-Jim chose to go after SAM-R-I first, chasing after the hero of Japan as he landed perfectly on the ground. Both swords met, causing sparks to fly. SAM-R-I held his sword in two hands as he worked to block and deflect the one-handed fencing style of his opponent. Genki moved to assist, not liking to attack from behind but this was war that would determine the fate of the world and there was little time for honor to be taken into consideration.
And she would not let her husband fight alone.
And if today is the day I must die (must die)
Only when she was within striking distance, her instincts flared and she raised her sword in front of her, blocking the thrust of an invisible blade. 'His Semblance…He can conjure invisible blades from any point of his body, but they are much longer than they should be. Has Sammael somehow forced his Semblance to evolve?'
Guess we'll let the steel decide.
Gentle-Jim took a step back, turning to have both SAM-R-I and Genki in his line of sight with his sword held in front of him, taking the standard pose of a professional fencer.
Can you feel God's hand? (Can you feel God's hand?)
Both husband and wife moved into strike as one and Gentle-Jim moved his sword to his right while holding his left hand to seemingly block Genki's sword and made a slash with the hand holding the Wind Dust crystal.
SLASH!
Pushing us towards the edge.
SAM-R-I grunted, feeling the invisible cut slashing through his electric aura, and again leaving a slash mark on his chest armor. 'How is he doing that?'
Genki narrowed her eyes as she performed a horizontal slash at Gentle-Jim, forcing him to take a step back as he parried her sword. Genki immediately sheathed her sword again and pulled it back out, now colored green.
In a valley of torment,
They attacked again and this time, Gentle-Jim blocked SAM-R-I's sword with his sword while performing a slashing motion at Genki as she performed a vertical strike.
Guess we'll let the steel decide.
Surprisingly, there was a blast of wind that forced all three to step back but Genki suffered no slash wounds on her body.
"SAM-R-I, he uses the Wind Crystal to create a vacuum blade as he makes a cutting motion with his hand!" Genki called out to her husband. "That's how he's able to cut through your aura!"
Walking through, all the blood and guts
Gentle-Jim's eyes widened slightly before he smiled. "So, you figured out my secret technique. I am impressed, Lady Genki."
"I work with Dust as well, Sir James. It took me longer than I wanted to figure out how you did it." Genki admitted.
Will we (tell me, will we)
"You use your Semblance in conjecture with Dust to create elemental blades. And with a Wind Dust crystal, you can create a literal vacuum as you make a cutting motion at your opponents. The resulting slash causes an explosion between air molecules and creates a vacuum that then releases all the air into a single blast that can cut through solid rock." Genki explained. "But in your case, it creates a literal invisible sword that can even cut through solid steel or even through the electric aura of a hero like SAM-R-I."
Make it to the end?
Gentle-Jim's smile grew slightly bigger. "Exactly, my lady. I am not one to rely on Dust in combat but I've trained enough to master it to such a level, I believe it will be more than enough to stand against even the two of you."
SAM-R-I and Genki shared looks before nodding and prepared to attack.
YEAH!
Down in the center of the Earth, Nergal watched in stunned silence as the three Crystals and Steven were engulfed by a great light that seemed to merge them together and started to grow in size.
(guitar solo)
The resulting fusion was massive with eight arms, glowing orange eyes, gray skin, and slightly curly charcoal-black hair that reaches their knees. The skin and hair have bright orange markings, which appear to be lava. They had plump lips, and their kneecaps were diamond shaped. They also flaunted a secondary face (or "mask") where their forehead would be.
This 'mask' exhibited a combination of the component Gems' facial features, with a nose resembling Pearl's and a non-functional mouth with plump lips similar to Amethyst's. The 'mask' itself also has its own pair of functional eyes, giving Obsidian four eyes in total. The seam between the face and the 'mask' opens up like a lid, revealing a gaping third mouth lined with sharp fang-like teeth.
"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Can you feel God's hand? (Can you feel God's hand?)
"Whoa Mama!" Johnny stepped back, completely gob smacked by the massive fusion.
Nergal actually took a step back, feeling intimidated now by the fusion that glared down at him. It then summoned Pearl's spear, Steven's shield, Garnet's gauntlets and Amethyst's whip and merged them into one, forming what appeared to be a sword hilt with no blade. It then plunged the hilt into its third mouth that was full of lava.
Pushing us towards the edge
What it pulled out was a great fiery sword that seemed to burn even hotter and brighter than anything in Nergal's lair, despite being at the center of the Earth.
In a valley of torment,
It glared down at Nergal who seemed to tremble at first before he gritted his teeth and snarled. "You think you scare me now? Just because you're bigger. I'll you size doesn't matter!"
Guess we'll let the steel decide.
With that, Nergal released all of his tendrils up towards the Gem fusion's head as it brought its sword over its head…and then swung it down on Nergal.
Going berserk, you're down in the dirt!
The blade cut through the tendril's easily, burning them to ashes.
But that doesn't mean the battle's over!
"Nergal!" The underworld deity's wife screamed.
Know it would hurt, I hope it was worth, your LIFE!
The blade came down on Nergal, unleashing an unending stream of fire that engulfed the dark deity. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
(Guess we'll let the steel decide)
The fiery blast shot down along with Nergal through the platform, burning through the bottom and crashed into the massive bubble now surrounding the Cluster like a meteorite.
When it's all said and done
Nergal's wife rushed over to the edge to see if there was any sign that Nergal had survived the attack.
There can only be one…
There was a giant smoldering mark on the area where the attack had crashed but there was no sign of Nergal.
He had been incinerated by the heat and force of the attack.
Harness your inner strength
"Whoa." Johnny remarked, looking up at the Gem fusion with fearful respect. "Remind me to never get on your badside."
Never let them get the best of you
As the battles on the surface of the Earth continued, the one in the center of the Earth had been finished.
I pray, that you find your way out of…
"It is over. Nergal has been defeated. Now I have my chance."
This...
Or had was it?
