And here we are with chapter 2! I wasn't sure how the reception of using AI to enhance my story would go. But I'm happy that it didn't go bad. I promise I'm doing the plot and interactions myself, GPT just helps with the detail considering I SUCK at detail, as evident with most of my stories. Now off we go!

.

As the first light of dawn painted the horizon with its gentle hues, our green haired hero found himself perched atop a vantage point overlooking the hotel that had caught his attention the previous night. He had spent the night wandering the town, his keen senses attuned to any hints of the extraordinary. Shrines and churches, imbued with magical protection, dotted the landscape, a testament to the hidden forces at play.

Achilles' hunger for discovery was evident as he strolled through the city's streets. While he didn't require sustenance, the temptation to sample the local cuisine had been too great to resist. The experience of tasting Takoyaki for the first time had elicited a genuine enjoyment, a reminder that even the simplest pleasures could be appreciated. His laughter had echoed through a back alley when a would-be mugger had crossed his path. Dispatching the assailant with a swift, well-placed strike had been a task accomplished with ease, his actions guided by his unshakable sense of justice. The money being used to purchase the food he ate.

His musings were disrupted by the emergence of a figure from the hotel, the person's striking appearance captivating Achilles' attention. Long red hair framed a face of delicate beauty, enhanced by piercing blue eyes that seemed to hold secrets untold. The woman's attire spoke of purpose and refinement, a uniform that hinted at her affiliation with a school of some kind. The white button-down shirt, the black ribbon, and the cape that adorned her form were complemented by a purple skirt and brown dress shoes, creating an ensemble that balanced elegance with practicality.

Achilles' assessed the situation, curiosity mingling with caution. Something about this woman piqued his interest. With a sense of intrigue, he retreated into his spirit form, a decision that allowed him to remain hidden while observing the scene. The woman's movements were deliberate as she navigated the streets.

Maintaining a safe distance, Achilles tailed the woman as she journeyed through the city. He noted with interest a momentary pause in her steps, her gaze directed in his direction. Achilles held his breath, his ethereal form offering a fragile layer of concealment. When the woman's attention returned to her surroundings without incident, a wry smile curved his lips. He had glimpsed a hint of caution in her actions, a reminder that she was attuned to the nuances of her surroundings.

Achilles' surveillance led him to a shrine, where the woman's path intersected with that of another. This second figure, adorned in the same uniform, possessed black hair that flowed in a ponytail secured by an orange ribbon. Their interaction was marked by familiarity. Clearly, they were close friends. Although Achilles could not hear what they were saying, the risk of exposure held him back. His resolve to remain unnoticed persisted as he watched the two continue on their journey.

The journey eventually led them to a large school, a bustling hub of activity that radiated an aura of magical energy. The women's arrival was met with the enthusiastic greetings of a multitude of female students. While a few male figures could be spotted, it was clear that the balance tipped heavily in favor women. Achilles' keen perception allowed him to recognize the undercurrents of magic that ran through the atmosphere, his instincts confirming that the institution was far from ordinary.

As he took in the scene before him, an idea began to form within Achilles' mind. He recognized the complexity of the situation, the presence of a bounded field adding another layer of complication. However, his inner warrior was undeterred, and a plan began to crystallize. 'They know I exist already' he mused. 'Maybe it's time to let them come to me. I'm tired of all this snooping around.'

With a measured exhale, Achilles weighed his options. The notion of entering the school's grounds directly held its own allure, yet he acknowledged his limitations as a Rider in a domain rife with barriers and magic. Instead, he chose a different course of action—one that allowed him to seize the initiative on his terms. The school's significance and the people he had observed were worthy of investigation, but he refused to be drawn into a situation that didn't play to his strengths.

"I'll bide my time" Achilles decided, his voice a whisper carried on the wind. His gaze remained fixed on the school, his thoughts a fusion of patience and anticipation. As the city around him stirred with the beginnings of a new day, Achilles positioned himself as a silent observer.

.

.

.

As time passed, the weight of anticipation hung heavy in the air, a cloak of both excitement and tension enveloping Achilles. With a determined exhale, he finally made his move, stepping onto the school grounds, the barriers and magic around him palpable even to his experienced senses.

Achilles' eyes roamed over the terrain until they settled on a building nestled a little farther from the main entrance. Though not in a state of disrepair, the building carried an air of age, its exterior adorned with moss and other marks related to its age. The resonance of protective magic emanating from the structure was undeniable, a sign that it held a significant place within the school.

Leaning casually against a nearby tree, Achilles positioned himself out of sight, his aura of mana purposefully projected to signal his presence. He was, in a sense, extending an invitation, daring those who sought him to step forth and engage. It was a calculated risk indeed.

The response was swift, the unfolding scene manifesting before him like a prelude to an unfolding drama. Four figures approached him, their presence a tapestry woven with intrigue. Two of them were familiar faces—the red-haired girl and her companion, both of whom Achilles had observed earlier. The other two were new arrivals, their identities shrouded in mystery.

Achilles' laughter bubbled forth, a rich sound that echoed with a mix of amusement and charm. "First, I find out I'm being stalked by a woman and her familiar," he began, his tone casual and lighthearted. "And now, I'm being greeted by not one, not two, but four women at once?"

The atmosphere was charged with curiosity and tension as a short black-haired girl with glasses addressed him directly, her gaze unyielding. Her demand for answers was straightforward, her demeanor a reflection of her determination. "Who are you and what are you doing in Kuoh. You're clearly not your average human."

Achilles met her gaze evenly, his own eyes carrying an air of confidence. "I just so happened to be in the area when your friend here was sending oddly shaped bats to follow me," he said, a casual gesture indicating the red-haired girl beside her.

"Why were you watching him?"

A wry chuckle from the girl who had been trailing him echoed through the air. "Come on, Sona, you must've felt that large release of magic, right?"

Sona, in turn, directed her gaze toward Achilles, her eyes narrowing slightly. The name held a certain weight, acknowledging her acquaintance with him. "And you're saying this was him?" she inquired, her voice measured.

A nod from the red-haired girl confirmed Sona's query, prompting Sona to direct her gaze toward the newcomer. "And you didn't think to tell me about it?"

"I was, promise!" The girl pouted "it was getting late, and I was going to tell you today".

"I'm sure you would have" Sona remarked dryly.

Achilles watched the exchange with a mixture of amusement and curiosity, his role in this unfolding scenario becoming increasingly apparent.

Breaking the verbal exchange, the woman with the ponytail interjected with a playful chuckle, her voice lightening the atmosphere. "Come now" she chided, a glimmer of amusement in her eyes. "Are you going to be arguing in front of this fine gentleman?"

"Yea, probably shouldn't do that" the red head retorted before addressing Achilles. "I was watching you because you released a huge amount of magical energy just outside of the city. And I'm sure you can understand that it would raise suspicion."

The red-haired girl's explanation, while simple, carried a resonance of truth. Achilles' instincts told him that there was more to the story than met the eye. "Never been too much of a cautious person" even though he was up until now. "But I get your point. I'd rather not be being stalked even if it was by a woman. Had enough of those already." His gaze shifted between the four women, his expression one of curiosity and measured engagement. He had thrown down the gauntlet by allowing his presence to be known.

"You still haven't said your name or a good reason on why you are here, flexing your energy," the long-haired girl with glasses addressed Achilles, her gaze sharp and unyielding.

Achilles maintained his casual demeanor, meeting her scrutiny with a faint smile. "You can just call me Max for now," he replied smoothly. "If I'm gonna be honest, I was brought here by something, and I have no idea by what, or who."

The atmosphere held a mixture of curiosity and caution, the tension evident in every exchange. Sona's thoughtful hum resonated through the air, her analytical mind processing the details before her. "Hmm… your magical energy does feel odd" she mused, her glasses glinting in the morning light.

The red-haired woman's hands settled on her hips, her posture exuding authority and a touch of suspicion. "I still find it odd that you're in my territory" she declared with a measure of assertiveness.

Achilles tilted his head, his expression one of genuine curiosity. "Your territory?" he questioned, his tone laced with intrigue.

A sigh escaped her lips, the weight of her position evident in her words. "I'm Rias Gremory of House Gremory" she introduced herself, a note of resignation in her voice. "I'm the devil in charge of this area."

Achilles' internal pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place. The nature of these women, their heightened senses, and the air of command they carried—all pointed to their extraordinary status. "Can't say I really know who you are" he admitted with an air of nonchalance, waving off the significance of her title. "Just know you won't get any trouble from me if you don't cause me any trouble."

Sona's response was calculated, her gaze steady behind her glasses. "That seems fair" she acknowledged, her voice measured. "But I'm not going to take you at your word."

Achilles nodded in understanding "And I probably won't either."

The conversation shifted, Sona's partner directing her inquiry toward Achilles. "You said you were brought here?" she asked, her voice a mix of curiosity and suspicion.

"Yup" Achilles nodded.

"It's odd that someone would forcefully bring you here" Rias mused aloud, her skepticism apparent. "Sure, we have enemies, but you don't seem terrible."

Achilles responded with a gracious tilt of his head. "Why thank you."

Rias continued her line of questioning, her gaze steady. "And you're sure you have no idea how you were brought here?"

Achilles' demeanor remained relaxed, a slight shrug punctuating his response. "Hmm… let's just say I was on my way somewhere. But when I was returning to said place, I was pulled by some force."

Sona's murmur carried a mixture of intrigue and contemplation as she processed the information. "How odd," she mused to herself.

The ponytailed girl interjected with her own line of questioning, her curiosity laced with a genuine desire to understand. "So, what do you plan on doing here?" she inquired.

Achilles' response held an air of open-ended curiosity. "Never been to Japan before, so I'll just have to find what calls out to me, I guess."

Rias, pragmatic and perhaps sensing an opportunity, spoke up with a hint of hospitality. "Do you have anywhere to go?"

Achilles' answer was straightforward, his words free of any burdensome uncertainty. "Nope" he affirmed, a faint shake of his head accompanying his words. "I can probably figure it out."

"We could help you out if you want?"

Achilles' expression shifted, his curiosity piqued. "Oh? And how would you do that?" he inquired, his voice tinged with both skepticism and intrigue.

"How about we make a deal?" she suggested, her gaze steady and unwavering.

Achilles' response was laden with playful wit, a spark of amusement in his eyes. "A deal with a devil?" he remarked, raising a quizzical eyebrow as he entertained the notion.

Rias' nod was both assured and inviting, her words carrying a sense of sincerity. "I help you get yourself started in Japan, and in turn, you don't cause us any unnecessary trouble."

Achilles' skepticism remained tangible, his scrutiny unwavering. "And I'm supposed to take your word for that?"

Rias' response was both calculated and immediate, a flash of light emanating from her hand. As the light dimmed, it revealed a small piece of paper. Achilles accepted it, studying the contents intently. The paper held a simple declaration: assistance would be provided to him to establish his presence in Japan. He could infer that this offer was extended as a gesture of goodwill, a show of trust to prevent any hostilities.

Achilles' inquiry regarding the consequences of a broken contract prompted Rias to elaborate further. "If it gets broken, there's a magical backlash which puts a curse on the party that broke the contract" she explained, the gravity of her words underscoring the binding nature of such magical agreements.

Naturally, Achilles sought to ascertain what he would receive in return for his compliance. Rias, demonstrating her candid nature, addressed his question. "Well, I'm assuming you don't have money, right?"

Achilles' confirmation evoked a hint of amusement in Rias' response. "You'd be correct."

The visual exchange between Rias and Sona, was all the two needed to communicate. Sona's measured demeanor indicated her caution.

"Rias..." Sona's tone was both reproachful and resigned, a testament to the familiarity between the two women.

Rias raised her hands in a pleading gesture, "I'll owe you another favor?"

Sona's sigh conveyed her recognition of the dynamic between them. "You owe me a lot of favors."

An additional concession was made, Rias adjusting her offer to meet Sona's concerns. "Umm… two favors then?"

Sona's begrudging acceptance was palpable, her professional facade maintained "Fine."

With the terms becoming clear, Sona's gaze shifted to Achilles, her attention focused. "We can add it to the contract. But I can pull some strings and get you a job as a physical education teacher. The current teacher left for personal reasons, but the position is open."

Achilles' chuckle was genuine, a touch of irony threading through his response. "Heh... to think of me becoming a teacher" he remarked with a bittersweet smile. After a moment's contemplation, he voiced his agreement. "Sure. I'll take it for now and see what happens."

Rias' response was prompt, her enthusiasm uncontained. "Then we have ourselves a deal." She adjusted the contract accordingly and presented it to Achilles.

The matter wasn't settled without a final ritual, a gesture that embodied the arcane nature of their agreement. "You gotta sign it with blood, though," Rias stipulated, a note of formality in her voice.

Achilles' shrugged, a nonchalant acceptance of the requirement. He bit into his thumb to draw forth a small amount of blood, acknowledging that ordinary means would not suffice for this task. With the crimson droplet, he signed the contract, imbuing it with his own essence. Rias mirrored his actions, the two of them forging a bond through this shared act.

The paper reacted, a momentary glow encapsulating their agreement before dissipating. With the contract now solidified, Rias extended her hand, the gesture symbolizing the binding pact they had just entered. The exchange was both formal and personal, sealing their connection and setting their collaboration into motion.

As soon as the pact was sealed with their handshake, a distant bell resonated through the air. "We're gonna be late!" Rias exclaimed, her voice carrying a mix of urgency and exasperation. Her eyes shifted to Akeno, the girl who was with them, and she called out, "Akeno, we gotta go!"

Akeno responded swiftly, her demeanor gracious as she did a light bow. "It was a pleasure meeting you. I didn't introduce myself earlier, but I'm Akeno Himejima."

"Likewise" Achilles acknowledged, his tone sincere. As Akeno departed to catch up with Rias, Achilles couldn't help but notice the camaraderie between the two girls.

"Shouldn't you be getting to class?" Achilles inquired as Rias and Akeno hurried off.

"Considering I have a favor to act upon, that will have to wait" Sona sighed, her poise that of someone accustomed to juggling various responsibilities. She took a moment to introduce herself more formally. "I haven't properly introduced myself either. My name is Sona Sitri of House Sitri. I am the Student Council President of Kuoh Academy." With a graceful gesture, she introduced the girl beside her. "This is Tsubaki Shinra, my Vice President and Queen."

"Pretty high pedestal if she's calling you a queen" Achilles joked.

"I can explain later if you wish to know. I need to get your information and bring it over to the principal in order to secure the position for you." She started walking away, beckoning Achilles to follow. "Please come to my office, and we can get started."

"Lead the way" Achilles agreed, his tone amiable.

.

.

.

The journey to Sona's office led them through the school's halls. Despite his imposing presence, the curious stares from students and even some teachers were met with a sense of nonchalance from Achilles. Sona's presence by his side seemed to quell any potential concerns. As they arrived at Sona's office, they took their seats, facing each other. The room itself exuded an air of professionalism, with its spacious layout, a couch in one corner, and a desk positioned near the back wall.

Sona's poised mannerisms carried over to her office as she began her inquiries. "First, I'll need your full name." As she jotted down his response on a piece of paper, Achilles offered his false moniker. "Maximus Chloros."

"Where are you from?" Sona's pen moved smoothly across the paper.

"Greece" Achilles responded.

"Specifically?"

In his mind, Achilles mentally navigated through historical and geographical knowledge. "Central Greece, Phthiotis specifically."

Sona commented on the historical significance of his answer, recognizing the rich history of his homeland. Achilles couldn't help but chuckle at the comment. "Don't I know it."

"Do you have citizenship in Greece?" Sona continued, delving into his background.

Achilles offered a straightforward response. "Nope."

"I'll have to work that out, too" Sona mumbled, her expression focused on the task at hand. She proceeded with her questionnaire. "Height and weight?"

"About six foot one and around two hundred fifteen pounds" Achilles provided, his tone casual.

Sona's inquiries flowed seamlessly, moving onto his age. "How old are you?"

"Twenty-five" Achilles answered, a reflection of the age he had reached in his previous life.

"Date of birth?"

"June seventh" Achilles responded.

"Really now?" Sona's interest was piqued.

"Yea why?" Achilles answered.

"What a coincidence" Sona remarked, her tone carrying a touch of intrigue. "We share the same birthday."

"Huh... Neat" Achilles responded, offering a nonchalant smile in acknowledgment of the coincidence.

Sona concluded her notetaking, her handwriting flowing smoothly as she jotted down the last of the information. "I'll need a photo to get you a teacher ID, so we'll have to go to the principal's office with this and get your picture taken."

With all the necessary information gathered, Achilles and Sona embarked on a short journey to the principal's office, which was conveniently located nearby. Upon reaching the door, Sona knocked before entering.

"Come in!" came the response from inside the office.

"Please be respectful towards the principal" Sona reminded Achilles before opening the door and inviting him inside. Achilles followed her lead, stepping into the office to find a man seated behind the desk.

Principal Shun appeared to be in his early thirties, his attire striking a balance between professional and stylish. He wore a pair of spectacles, a white turtleneck sweater adorned with an inverted cross-shaped brooch, and a dark jacket over it. Black slacks and leather shoes completed his ensemble. His name tag, which read 'Principal Shun' sat on the desk in front of him. As he sipped from his coffee mug, his demeanor exuded a blend of approachability and authority.

"Ah, Sona" Principal Shun greeted with a gentle smile. "What do I owe the pleasure?"

"Mr. Shun" Sona addressed him respectfully, bowing slightly. "I believe I've found a suitable teacher for the physical education position."

The principal's interest was piqued. Leaning back in his chair, hands folded over his stomach, he regarded Sona curiously. "Oh, really now? I assume you're the one who caught Sona's eye?"

Achilles took a moment to observe Principal Shun more closely, his experienced eye homing in on the suppressed power emanating from the man. The notion of challenging this individual to a fight briefly crossed his mind, but he held back the impulse, recognizing the potential consequences.

"That's me. Name's Maximus Chloros" Achilles responded, offering his alias with a confident yet restrained demeanor.

Principal Shun raised an eyebrow, a hint of suspicion momentarily crossing his features. However, he seemed to let the matter go with a casual shrug.

"Well, you certainly look fit enough to be a gym teacher" Principal Shun jested, his tone light. Turning to Sona, he inquired, "And you believe he's the right fit? Or is this another one of Rias' impulsive decisions?"

"Both, sir" Sona answered, her tone conveying a mix of assuredness and a touch of amusement.

Principal Shun stood and moved around the desk, positioning himself in front of Achilles. His keen gaze assessed the newcomer, evaluating him silently. "Welcome to Kuoh Academy, Maximus. Or should I say, Chloros-sensei" Shun extended his hand in a gesture of welcome.

"Thanks for having me" Achilles accepted the handshake, immediately noticing the iron grip of Principal Shun's hand. He matched the strength in kind, their interaction briefly evolving into a silent contest of strength.

A knowing smirk played on Shun's lips. "That's a strong grip you've got there."

"Thank you. I could say the same" Achilles responded with a grin, releasing Shun's hand after a mutually challenging grip.

Shun returned to his desk and placed the sheet with Achilles' information on it. "I'll work out all the details later, but for now, I'll give you this." Retrieving a card from his desk, he handed it to Achilles, attached to a red strap that could be worn around his neck. The card featured the inscription 'Physical Education Temporary Pass' with a bar code beneath it. "We'll take a photo of you, and your new ID will be ready by tomorrow." He produced a camera and handed it to Sona.

Following Sona's lead, Achilles positioned himself against the wall for the photograph. With his arms crossed and a confident smirk, he met the lens with an air of self-assuredness. The camera flashed, capturing his image.

"So, what do I do now?" Achilles inquired, his stance relaxed as he faced Principal Shun.

Principal Shun leaned back in his chair, considering the question. "There's a second-year Phys-Ed class scheduled for next period, which starts in about half an hour. Sona can direct you to the gymnasium, where you can familiarize yourself with your office and space."

"I will do that right now, sir" Sona responded, bowing respectfully before exiting the office with Achilles in tow.

As they made their way out, the principal's contemplative expression remained. "That man is certainly going to make things interesting soon," he mused to himself, sensing a compelling presence in the green-haired hero that had entered the academy's fold.

And we are done for now! Wrote this surprisingly quick and all of it on my phone, before moving it all over to my PC, so that's pretty baller. It honestly was a huge coincidence for the birthday thing. I looked up Achilles' birthday and apparently, it's celebrated June 7th or something, then I searched up Sona's out of curiosity and it was June 7th! Also, I chose the name Maximus Chloros because Maximus means (Greater) and Chloros means (Green). So funnily enough it means Great Green basically which again was a coincidence I noticed while writing this AN (considering there is a Great Red and all that). Sorry if I haven't done DxD justice so far but I've never written about it before, other than when I did this initially, and I'm always really iffy when writing something completely new. Please leave a review and let me know what you all think! Also, Principal Shun was a fanon thing I saw a while back in another fan fic, I think. The character is pretty similar to Ozpin from RWBY, so I will basically stick with that going forwards, if and when he makes more appearances.
