The Philippines - Magical Supreme Court Meeting

The grand chamber of the Magical Supreme Court was abuzz with anticipation. Hadrian Tallano-Peverell, a member of the Philippine Royal Family, had returned, and his presence had stirred excitement among the magical elite. They saw him as a beacon of hope, a potential unifier in a land divided by various magical factions.

As Hadrian entered the room, the magistrates and leaders of the various magical factions stood up and applauded. It was a warm and hearty welcome, signifying their eagerness for change and unity. He exchanged pleasantries with many, shaking hands and embracing old friends and allies.

The meeting began, discussions about the current state of magical affairs in the Philippines, economic struggles, and the ongoing issues of division and rivalry. Hadrian saw this as the perfect opportunity to gather allies.

"I appreciate your warm welcome," Hadrian said, addressing the assembly. "But we must remember that we face a common enemy that threatens us all—the New Death Eaters."

Murmurs of agreement filled the room. The threat of the NDEs was one thing they could all unite against.

Midway through the meeting, chaos erupted as a group of NDEs apparated into the chamber. Spells and curses flew in all directions as the magistrates and faction leaders defended themselves. Hadrian wasted no time. He moved with astonishing speed and grace, taking on multiple assailants simultaneously.

"Your Grace!" one of the leaders cried out, firing spells at the intruders. "We will stand by your side!"

Hadrian nodded, a determined gleam in his eye. They fought back-to-back, a unified front against the common enemy. The NDEs, surprised by the ferocity and unity of the magical leaders, were eventually forced to retreat, leaving the chamber in chaos but secure.

With the NDEs defeated for now, Hadrian took the opportunity to address the room once more. "Today, we've seen that when we unite, we can overcome any threat. But we also face another enemy—our own division. The Philippines has been divided for far too long, with no genuine government to unite us. We are merely a body of leaders from fragmented factions."

The leaders nodded in agreement, recognizing the truth in Hadrian's words.

"It's time for a change," Hadrian continued passionately. "We can no longer afford to let our differences tear us apart. We must form a genuine government that can unite our people, ensure our security, and promote our prosperity. It's time for the magical Filipinos to have their voice heard through elections and governance."

Several leaders voiced their support, agreeing that the unity displayed in the battle against the NDEs was proof that cooperation could be achieved. They began discussing the path forward, considering the steps needed to establish a government that would genuinely represent the magical community.

With the consensus growing, Hadrian seized the moment. "I hereby announce my candidacy for the leadership of our united magical government. If that path fails, I will stand as the monarch of the Philippines. Either way, my goal is to bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to this country. WE WILL RISE AGAIN?!" And with that parting speech, everyone cheered, magical Filipinos listening from the radio or watching from the TV were now cheering across the island, they were finally going back to their formal glory.

"I move to declare Hadrian Tallano-peverell the official monarch of our country." A leader said, it was a unanimous agreement, no matter the outcome of the election, Hadrian and his family would still have power in the new government.

Hadrian made his way out of the Filipino ministry and into the floo, returning to his office. He sighed out of exhaustion, today had worked, next was tommorrow. Getting the ICW to recognize his claim as monarch, damn he hated meetings.

Hogwarts Castle Corridor

Luna Lovegood, with her dreamy eyes and characteristic radish earrings, walked through the castle's corridors when a group of Ravenclaws cornered her. The leader was the proud and usually calm Cho Chang. Luna's heart sank; she recognized the malicious glint in their eyes.

"Look who it is, the odd little Lovegood," Cho sneered. "Heard you gave a free show outside the Defence classroom yesterday. Wanted some attention, did you?"

One of the other girls chimed in, "Well, let's give her all the attention she needs."

The group quickly held her, and before Luna could defend herself, she felt the cold stone against her back. Cho was now up close, face filled with disdain. "Thought we'd finish what you started," she whispered.

Before they could act any further, the corridor was bathed in an intense light. "Lumos Maxima!" boomed a voice.

The bullies shielded their eyes. As the light dimmed, there stood Hadrian, fury evident in his eyes.

"That's 20 points from each of you," he said coldly. "And detention with Binns for a week. We're in a school, and we are students. No one here is a doll for you to strip and play with. As seventh-years, you should know better."

Cho, foolishly brave or brashly stupid, stepped forward, wand raised. But before she could react, Hadrian's wand slashed through the air, sending a sharp cutting curse straight across her chest. Gasping, Cho fell back, clutching the fatal wound.

"Aidrasae!" Hadrian cast immediately, and within moments the gash sealed. But the terror remained in her eyes, a potent reminder of how close she'd come to death.

Hadrian leaned closer to Cho. "Do not test me," he whispered. Turning his gaze to the others, he added, "I'm not in a good mood. Leave, now."

The Ravenclaws scattered, leaving Luna and Hadrian in the corridor. He approached her cautiously, covering his eyes. "Miss lovegood, are you alright?"

She gave a small nod. "Yes, thanks to you."

"Do they...do this often?" he inquired, concern evident in his voice.

She sighed. "It's been happening since my first year. Today was just... more public than usual."

He frowned. "They won't touch you again. And if they dare to, it'll be the last thing they do."

Luna managed a smile, though her eyes still held tears. "Thank you, Professor."

Hadrian handed her clothes back. "Please, call me Hadrian outside of class, I'm sorry for what happened, Miss lovegood. I've just come back from an ICW meeting, and... well, I shouldn't have lost my temper like that."

As she dressed, Luna curiously asked, "You can call me luna. Say Hadrian, what was the spell you used to heal Cho? And the one that injured her? I've never seen them before."

He glanced at her and then smiled gently. "Both are my own creations, Luna."

Soon they were walking back to the Ravenclaw tower, Luna feeling a lot safer beside him. As they reached the entrance, Hadrian gave a small wave. "Take care, Luna."

As she entered the tower, she felt a gentle tingle, unaware of the spell Hadrian had cast, a silent protector ensuring her safety as part of his greater plan.

Earlier that day

ICW Meeting

Switzerland

The International Confederation of Wizards meeting was already in session when Hadrian entered the grand chamber in Switzerland. It was a room filled with representatives from different magical nations, all engaged in heated debates and discussions. At the moment, the Philippines and Malaysia representatives were fervently arguing over the ownership of Sabah.

Hadrian, known as the Knight of Rizal in the Philippines, strode in carrying two bound figures – members of the New Death Eaters. His entrance drew immediate attention.

Dumbledore, who still held the position of Chief Warlock, was the first to speak. "Hadrian, what are you doing here? You should be at Hogwarts, focusing on your responsibilities as the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor."

Hadrian raised an eyebrow at the elderly wizard. "Dumbledore, I suggest you not tell me how to do my job, considering how you handled your responsibilities as headmaster."

Dumbledore looked taken aback, but he countered, "I have many important positions to juggle. I need to focus on the more crucial ones."

"Well," Hadrian retorted, "perhaps you should step down from some of them if it's so difficult to manage. I'm here, representing the Philippines and still managing to teach at Hogwarts – and I might add, effectively."

Dumbledore frowned, clearly not expecting this level of defiance. "Why are you here then, Hadrian?"

Hadrian sighed. "I'm here to claim my spot as the monarch of the Philippines."

The room erupted into chaos. Some representatives agreed with Hadrian, believing he could represent the Philippines effectively. Others argued that the Philippines wasn't even united, and they didn't want a monarch in the ICW.

Hadrian remained calm amidst the commotion. He provided memories of him uniting the Philippines and being named the monarch, supporting his claim. Finally, after much debate, it was decided that a vote would be held next month, and in the meantime, Hadrian would take on the role of the new representative.

The meeting continued, and Hadrian used the opportunity to engage with various countries, seeking alliances. One particular argument ensued with Malaysia over Sabah, which lasted for a grueling twenty minutes.

Hadrian finally managed to provide enough evidence that more Filipinos resided in the region than Malaysians. Reluctantly, Malaysia relinquished their claim on Sabah.

As the meeting concluded, Hadrian left in a foul mood. He disliked being a representative and knew he had enemies to deal with in the month ahead.

Gryffindor Common Room

Ron sat in a secluded corner of the Gryffindor common room, his head buried deep in thought. The flickering firelight cast eerie shadows on his face, highlighting the anger and resentment in his eyes. In his mind, there was one root cause for all his misfortunes: Potter.

"Why did it have to be him?" Ron muttered to himself, bitterness evident in his tone. "Everything was fine until he started showing off."

Taking out his notebook, he began to scribble down his thoughts, forming a plan. "Potter will finally get what he deserves. They'll all see," he whispered to himself, a malicious glint in his eyes.

Finishing his writing, Ron tucked away the notebook and decided to head to the Great Hall to see if any remnants of lunch were left. Little did he know that the three girls, Parvati, Lavender, and Fay, had been observing him from a distance. They had been the butt of his misguided attempts at retaliation, and the humiliation still stung.

Lavender leaned in, whispering, "Did you hear that? He's planning something against His Grace."

Fay's face paled, remembering her ordeal. "We can't let him do that. Not after what he did to us."

Parvati nodded, her eyes flashing with determination. "We need to inform His Grace. Maybe he can do something about it."

"I bet he'd reward us too," Fay added, the thought of revenge spurring her on.

The three girls quickly left the common room, making their way towards the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. Ron's machinations had unwittingly set into motion a series of events that could very well spell his downfall.

Hadrian's Office

Hadrian stood in his office, a series of test dummies set up at various distances. He practiced his spells diligently, firing hexes and curses with precision, ensuring his magical prowess remained sharp. He knew that the wizarding world was still a dangerous place, and he needed to be prepared for any threat.

A knock on the door interrupted his practice, and he swiftly lowered his wand. "Come in," he called out.

Professor Filius Flitwick entered, his eyes filled with curiosity. "You asked to see me, Hadrian?"

"Indeed, Filius. Please, have a seat," Hadrian gestured to one of the chairs in front of his desk. "Would you like some tea?"

Flitwick settled into the chair, his tiny frame perched atop a stack of cushions. "Tea would be lovely, thank you."

Hadrian conjured a cup of tea and handed it to the professor before pouring one for himself. He took a sip and then cleared his throat. "I wanted to speak to you about something, Filius. It concerns an incident involving Luna Lovegood and some of her fellow Ravenclaws."

Filius Flitwick's brow furrowed with concern. "What happened, Hadrian?"

Hadrian proceeded to explain the incident with Luna and the bullies, emphasizing how Luna had been mistreated and humiliated. Flitwick's eyes filled with a mix of anger and disappointment.

"That is utterly unacceptable," the Charms professor declared. "I am ashamed that students from my house would behave in such a manner. I will ensure that this is addressed promptly, and I promise you, Hadrian, nothing of this sort will happen again."

Just as they were discussing this, there was another knock on the door. Parvati, Lavender, and Fay stood outside, looking anxious.

Hadrian nodded at them. "Come in."

The three girls entered and exchanged nervous glances. "We, um, heard you were talking to Professor Flitwick about what happened to Luna," Parvati began. "We overheard something earlier and thought you should know." She handed Hadrian Ron's notebook.

Hadrian raised an eyebrow as he took the notebook and opened it to read the contents. His expression darkened as he processed Ron's sinister plan.

Flitwick was about to rush off to inform Professor McGonagall, but Hadrian stopped him. "Filius, hold on for a moment. I have another idea."

With the notebook in hand and his resolve firm, Hadrian was determined to address this issue in his own way, after telling Filius the plan, he agreed. Ronald weasley's days at hogwarts were numbered.

I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, considering it's the only one so far that I've 100% worked on my own to make. I'm in school right now so the stories will be on a bit of a hiatus when it comes to updates, but don't worry. I'll try my best to upload them as soon as I can.
