Fairy Tail had won the Grand Magic Games, but after the joy of victory, they were confronted with the horror of the Eclipse Gate and the battle against the dragons.

Fortunately, with all the guilds combined and the powers of all of the mages, they were able to confront the dragons and send them back to where they came from.

After that victory and that battle, the King decided to invite all the mages to the Palace and throw a banquet in their honor.

Now that everything had finished and was well celebrated, everyone was ready to go home.

The two Fairy Tail teams who had participated in the games walked together with the master and some other guildmates, heading towards the trains that would take them back to Magnolia.

Team Natsu with Elfman and Team B, without Jellal, were talking amongst themselves…

Erza and Mira congratulated each other on their battles and the demoness told her ex-rival about how Jellal had passed the days with them, making her blush every time she mentioned it.

Laxus heard compliments from the Thunder God Tribe, especially from Freed.

Elfman and Evergreen pretended to ignore each other under Lisanna's diverted gaze.

Wendy and Charle were talking with Romeo.

Lucy and Levy were talking about Eclipse and Yukino.

Gray remained silent, thinking about everything that had happened.

Cana was drinking as usual.

Juvia, on the other hand, was unusually quiet and pensive, normally she was always by Gray's side talking with him about whatever, but this time it was different…

Natsu and Gajeel were arguing together, until they stopped suddenly, causing everyone to worry.

The Dragon Slayers sniffed around, muttering nonsense.

"What's going on?" Lucy and Levy asked.

"Natsu-San, Gajeel-San, I don't feel anything, what is it?" Wendy said.

Laxus also put himself on alert and tried to figure out what was happening, but like Wendy, he didn't feel anything bad."

"This scent…" Natsu said.

"This horrible scent," Gajeel said.

"THIS NAUSEATING SCENT!" the two Dragon Slayers yelled.

"What's wrong with you two?" Lucy asked.

"Brats, are you alright?" Makarov asked.

Juvia suddenly felt a chill, but not cold, it was more of a sensation that someone was wrong…

Suddenly, the Fairy Tail mages saw a man running towards them…

Natsu and Gajeel immediately went on the defense and put themselves in front of Lucy and Juvia, to protect them from the man who was in front of them, surprising everyone who didn't understand what was going on or who that man was or why the two dragon slayers were acting that way and protecting the two girls.

Levy watched the scene with worry, meanwhile Lily at her side had a vague idea of who this man was…

The man in question stood in front of Juvia and smiled, the girl on the other hand had an impassive expression, one that none of them had ever seen.

Despite this, despite the impassive expression, on the inside the girl was completely distraught.

"You!" they shouted angrily, Natsu as much as Gajeel.

"Wait, you know him?" they asked each other.

"Yeah, it's a long story," they responded.

Lucy remembered that man well, she had a horrible memory of him, for which she hid further behind Natsu.

Erza and Mira noticed that Lucy and Juvia were a bit uncomfortable in this man's presence and with a complicit glance had decided to intervene, in case things were to get worse.

Everyone had noticed the tension and they stayed still and quiet to better understand the situation.

"Oh, Salamander, hi, I can't say that I'm happy to see you."

"Me neither. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in prison?"

Juvia and Gajeel looked at Natsu not understanding what he meant.

"Seven years have passed, I've been out for two."

"They shouldn't have let you out!" Lucy yelled.

"Oh, you're here too."

"Yes, I'm here too. How dare you come here after everything you've done?"

"Want revenge? Because I'm all fired up!" Natsu said.

"No, I don't want revenge, don't worry."

"Then go," Lucy said.

Juvia couldn't imagine how Lucy could have come to know this man, but she had a bad feeling about it.

"I assure you, I'm not here for you."

"Then what are you doing here? Why did you approach us?" Lucy asked.

But before the man could answer, Gajeel, now completely nervous, grabbed him by his shirt collar…

"Gajeel, let him go," the Master said.

Laxus also went on alert as did everyone else present.

"You, imbecilic bastard, piece of shit, I hope that you didn't come here for what I think you did. Didn't I tell you that I didn't want to see you again? You want me to beat you up again till you get it?"

"What is happening?" everyone murmured concerned.

"Come on Kurogane, leave me be, I swear that I'm a different man, I've changed, come on, years have passed…"

"You've changed? Don't make me laugh! Your type don't change, get lost."

This time Natsu and Lucy were the ones who didn't understand the situation.

"Gajeel-Kun, calm down, please leave him alone."

Juvia's voice was so cold and emotionless that it made everyone worry, especially Gray, who was watching her and immediately noticed her change upon seeing this man…

"Yeah, baby, tell your friend to calm down, I just want to talk with you."

"Baby?" everyone said, concerned.

"He called her 'baby?'" "Who is he?" "They know each other?" "Well, it looks like it now that he's called her Baby and that Gajeel wants to kill him" "Who could he be?"

Gray was already nervous for what was his, but this jerk was making him even more nervous.

Where the hell did he get the nerve to dare to call Juvia Baby? Who the hell was he?

"Yeah, and you think I'll let you? I told you to never come near her again," Gajeel told him.

Lucy was nervous, she didn't know what to think. Was this possible?

"It's been years, and I just want to talk, is there something wrong with that?"

"You, you're what's wrong with that."

"Look, I don't know what you did to Juvia, but I know you, and you're no one to trust, and besides I told you to stay away from Lucy and all of Fairy Tail if you didn't want any problems, so get lost," Natsu intervened.

Meanwhile Juvia was about to have a panic attack and massaged her temples to calm down and try to stop the rain from coming back, because she felt that a strong storm was approaching.

She was already depressed over Gray's rejection at the banquet, but this, this was just making things worse…

"What are you doing here, Bora? What do you want?" she spoke in a cold voice.

"I saw the games, Baby, and what a marvelous surprise seeing you and noticing that you have become even more lovely, the sun suits you."

"You bastard," Gajeel said.

Levy and Lily had to hold him back to stop him from hitting Bora.

"Wait, that's Bora?" Levy and Mira said, who Lucy had told about, that bad past history.

"Yes, he is, Bora the Prominence, the false Salamander."

"The false Salamander?" Gajeel asked.

"He pretended to be me, then he tried it with Lucy, he took her home, things ended badly and I had to save her from him," Natsu told Gajeel.

Lucy gained a death glare from Juvia and felt a terrifying chill.

"He really kidnapped me and was trying to hurt me, thankfully Natsu was there."

"You've always been too ambitious and idiotic, and a slimy worm," Gajeel told Bora.

"Oh, well, that's all in the past, I'm a changed man, I swear."

"I don't believe that at all."

What everyone found the strangest, however, was that Juvia addressed him not just coldly but also without any type of honorific, which was very strange for her.

"Is that all you had to say?" she said, cold and impassive, crossing her arms.

"You've changed a lot! I almost don't recognize you!"

"What a shame that you managed to."

"I could never forget you."

"Really?" she said with irony.

"Of course, you're still my ex-girlfriend."

"WTF?" everyone said, although there were some who imagined as much.

"What?" Natsu said, "Juvia, I'm concerned, I knew that you had bad taste in men, but I didn't think it was this bad."

The boy earned himself a smack on the head and a warning glare from Erza.

"Ex-boyfriend?" Gray thought, who without realizing it froze the whole path out of nervousness.

"Exactly! Ex! There's nothing left for us to say!" she said, passing by his side.

She needed to leave, because she was sure that if she stayed there she'd explode and she didn't want that.

"Oh, come on Baby. Are you still mad at me? Look, I'm here to apologize, I know I was an idiot."

"Thankfully you know," Gajeel said.

"Save your words, too much time has passed, your words are worthless."

"Listen, wait, can we talk? The two of us, alone, in private."

"Brr, it's cold!" Wendy whispered.

Erza, Mira, Cana, and the Master looked at Gray who looked like he was about to freeze Bora.

"I told you no!" Gajeel said.

"Gajeel, you shouldn't interfere," Levy said.

"We've already said everything that needs to be said, or rather you have already said it, Juvia has nothing to say."

"Oh, you still have that creepy habit of talking in third person, but thankfully that rain is gone, see? You've gotten better!"

To say that all of Fairy Tail was about to beat up Bora was an understatement, but one thing was for sure and that was that the fire mage had gained all of their disrespect.

Before Gajeel could intervene, Juvia put her hand on his chest and calmed him down.

"Juvia, on the other hand, believes that you have gotten worse."

"I knew that you were gonna be on the defense, baby, but I'm here to make up for it, honestly."

"There's nothing to fix, it ended a long time ago, remember?"

"Yes, I've been an idiot, you're right, but let me show you that I have changed."

Juvia didn't answer but tried to escape.

Bora stopped her, he grabbed her wrist and said, "Let's get back together, let's try again."

Gajeel and Natsu were about to intervene and Laxus was ready to electrocute that jerk, same as Erza and Mira were ready to transform.

"Don't even try it," Gray thought, as he was now approaching to freeze the jerk.

But Juvia turned to water and with an intimidating voice told Bora to leave her be.

"Try to turn back time if you want, but for now let Juvia leave if you don't want me to treat you the way Juvia should have all those years ago," and in doing so, raised the temperature of her water body to boiling.

"Ouch!"

"Hear that, boy? I advise that you leave and also to never come near my guild and especially my daughters again, otherwise I won't stop my brats and I'll let them attack," Makarov said sincerely.

"I'm leaving, there's no need to be so hostile, but think about it, I'll be here for a while."

"That's not necessary, you can go," Gajeel said.

Bora left and Juvia let out a huge sigh, rubbing her temples again, then with a smile she returned to the Master and her friends…

"Juvia is sorry about what happened."

"It's fine, child, let's go home, huh?" Makarov said with a smile.

"Yes."

Meanwhile, Gray was worried and nervous.

Author's Corner!

Hello everyone!

Here is a new fanfiction.

Honestly, I've always been curious about how the hell Juvia ended up with Bora and I always wanted a face to face and an encounter with Gray.

This is one of my many versions (I have a lot, yes).

But different from the others, this is more about the shared experiences that Juvia and Lucy had with Bora.

It's about friendship, love, past errors, etc.

I hope that you like it, even if it's not exactly that good.

Do you ever have a moment where you have a perfect fanfiction in your mind and you write it and something completely different comes out?

It happens to me often!

Unfortunately, that's how it is.

Thank you to those who read and comment!

I hope I didn't bore you!

See you soon.

Thank you to those who read and comment.

Thank you to BotanG for translating it.

Thank you everyone, even for just reading and until next time.
