As the two friends barely made it through that last mission, they were happy they managed to escape the threat of being killed once and for all, by the two bastards that have caused their deaths countless times already, in many dimensions, but the goddess who was behind the whole thing.
Ziro and Zector don't even realize that they are nothing more than tools for her to use and dispose of once they are no longer needed, in fact, Hiro and Hector could swear that they are nothing more than versions of themselves who were taken by that goddess and corrupted to become like they are, they are her servants and as such it would be weird if they didn't think the way she did.
After many hours of telling her the absolutely unfair and hellish conditions of that previous mission, not to mention her blatant attempts to cheat at the last second, it was clear that these two deserve some rest, some relaxation, but she couldn't simply say that two of her best were going on vacation, and especially not since another merged universe appeared, why would anyone want to mix a copy of those two realities together, that made no sense, one was based on the anime Danmachi, or is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon, and the other had to be truly a stupid idea where aliens fought each other in a tournament, called Sekirei.
After hearing everything they went through and managing to succeed, only these two would have the talents and abilities to try and make that place into a better universe both for the characters and for the ordinary people who are born and live in that world. The sheer fact that this merged universe will have what essentially is alien life, means that however things will change so drastically, it would not be strange for it to end up looking like something that is nothing like the universes that got merged.
It was a pretty bad situation, and on the one hand, she knew what her two servants have just gone through, in a mission that was practically rigged to end in failure, which somehow they succeeded, she honestly wanted to send these two to have a nice vacation, in no small part because one of these men would get to spend time with her and their kids since she is married to one of them.
On the other side of it, this mission would be nearly impossible for anyone else, the merged dimension would be so chaotic, so absolutely nightmarish, that if she sent any other servants there, she will effectively be sending them to a suicide mission. She didn't want to do that to anyone, but she didn't want to do that to her husband and his best friend either.
It was basically she needed to do this and was not happy about it, and what is worse is her husband would agree to jump right into this mission if only to help her, that is why she fell in love with the guy, his care for her happiness was one of the things that attracted her to him. His friend, however, was a major pervert, as long as that dimension has a lot of hot, busty, and more or less available ladies, he would be happy to go there simply to get the chance to sleep with them that what most people thought, the reason for Hiro's actions would be but that's not true that was only a benefit the real reason was that he didn't like seeing people suffer, and him having the ability to do something about it and not doing anything about it so, of course, he would go.
That is when Hiro realized something that made Hector absolutely hate that merged dimension, all of the alien women from one universe, all one hundred and eight of them, were in the Aphrodite Familia, that was enough for him to hate this merged dimension, to think so many of these aliens would be under the influence of someone he hates this much, was giving him a headache just thinking about it.
Why did she feel about what some would call a lust goddess or the goddess of demons? Simple, this goddess had been one of her love rivals when she first discovered that she held tender feelings toward one of her servants, this one servant had been more attentive, more caring, and more supportive than any other servant she had, and it was when she saw him through so many missions that in one dimension, she nearly lost him had it not been due to his unwavering faithfulness, Lilith disguised as Aphrodite in that universe attempted to seduce him.
Sadly Hector could not tell the difference between the two because of this because the disguise was too perfect however Hiro and the goddess were able to recognize the truth.
Had he accepted her offer, his mission in that universe would have been over successfully, it was one based on the God of War series, and this servant tried his best to reason and make the Ghost of Sparda see the error of his ways, Lilith offered him her help if he was willing to forsake other romantic relationships and become only hers, Hector at the time looked at the Goddess and told her with no uncertain terms, No. From that moment she used all her power to make the situation even harder, it was as if she flipped a switch and suddenly the difficulty went from Easy to Impossible.
But it didn't end there, even as he felt that he had failed in trying to get Kratos to achieve redemption, to see the error in his thinking, little did he know at the time, that was the moment his wife decided that she wanted him. In truth, the words he spoke didn't fall on deaf ears, and years later when the Greek pantheon in that universe was mostly dead, Kratos found himself the father of a young boy, but that is a story for another time. From that moment on Lilith was the eternal rival of their goddess, going as far as to have negative versions of the two best servants of her rival, hunting down and killing them, over and over again.
In fact, it had been Lilith who came up with the impossible mission the two friends had just finished, and once again she was tasked with another impossible merged dimension, and once again another version of Lilith was again in that place, she didn't like the very notion that another version of her rival would once again try to seduce her husband, but she had little choice in the matter, she needed to send her husband and her friend into this dimension, or else all reality would be doomed.
The two friends were having lunch, nothing extraordinary, one was having a plate of spaghetti, and the other was having some fried chicken, that is when they heard the ever-familiar sound of them being summoned to the office once again, and so Hiro put away his pasta, and Hector got up and with the last piece of fried chicken still in his mouth he got up from his seat and began to walk towards the office.
Hiro glared at him and told him he was supposed to have the chicken, to which Hector told his friend trying something new will expand his horizon, as he heard him he caught something thrown at him and Hiro realized it was a piece of chicken, "Stop complaining, like I would be unwilling to share, eat that and let's go, it seems our mission is going to be as pleasant as last one, if the way the air feels after we were summoned tells me anything."
Hiro ate the drumstick like he had not eaten anything in months, "Don't care, that was what you usually eat, no meat in that thing, and somehow you got my order while I got stuck with yours. And don't complain, had I been offered what you were in our last mission, you better believe I would accept it, a few hours in bed with a busty, willing, and hungry blonde beauty like her, and all our problems would be over, but no, Mister Stick in the mud, wouldn't even think about cheating on his wife. Do I need to remind you that you have been married to dozens if not hundreds of women in those dimensions we traveled to, and to make matters even worse some of them even follow you to other dimensions, or do I need to remind you how many times Nico Robin has shown up in multiple dimensions?"
Hector finally reached the corridor that lead towards the office he told his friend as long as he can mention the many times that one crook was after his ass, for crying out loud that navigator ends up following them, just as many times as Robin did. "So don't try to pull that shit on me, 'cause you are as guilty of it as I am King of the Pirates Luffy.*
Hiro was glaring daggers at his friend as they entered the office, "Don't you fucking dare to bring that up, you were my right hand in that pirate ship, so at least show that much loyalty towards your captain, now where is your ball and chain?"
The goddess simply said she was waiting for them to stop acting like he was Luffy screaming at Zoro, "Look, I know that you went through a lot, and the fact my significant other spared no detail in his report made it abundantly clear how hard that mission was, but I need to send you into one more merged dimension, one where the technology of Sekirei was introduced into the world of Danmachi, and to make matters even worse they have the magic and potion system from Dungeons and Dragons. So a technologically advanced Danmachi with magic and potions that can defeat death, and where the rich can buy themselves a new life after they kick the bucket. Cause that resurrection spell ain't cheap, and you both know it."
Hector didn't like the sound of it but thought that he better sit down on his chair and simply let his wife finish her explanation before he said anything, Hiro was simply happy that there was another universe with the beautiful ladies that formed Sekirei.
The goddess saw her husband touch his nose as to trying to stop an incoming headache, "You two shall be born in that universe as the children of Minato, and yes Hector I know what you are thinking, and I agree the first thing that Hiro would do is try to seduce all those poor wagtails, so instead you are getting those ladies, and Hiro can date the women from Danmachi, you two shall be twin brothers, even if you were born first by a few minutes or more like eleven minutes. There are more than enough goddesses, elves, werewolf bitches, and so many other species, so there is very little for Hiro to complain about."
That is when Hector told his wife that is a futile effort, since Hiro will always find a reason to complain about, and even if there is no actual reason, he will simply invent one. "He once complained so much about being so freaking bored, that it lasted for days, till Robin told him why doesn't he just read a book, she even told him that she would lend him one about the myth of some incredible islands that floated in the sky, such were her ability to reason and convince that he actually did just that, shocking every person on the ship, Monkey D. Luffy so bored that he actually began to read a book."
Hiro was so angry upon hearing this that he got up and hit Hector on the back of his head, telling him he didn't want to hear about something like that from the guy who decided to go fishing using a spear, made using fish bones. The goddess asked how in the world would that work? Any bones would be far too brittle to be good materials to make any weapon, let alone a spear that is long enough for fishing. Hector told her that had these fish have been ordinary fish, that would be true, but there was nothing ordinary about these monsters, they could bite through ships, take cannon fire, and there was an entire civilization that used the bones of these fish to create weapons, even going as far as to make eating utensils out of them.
The spear was said to be able to expand depending on how the person used it, in his hands he didn't only manage to get enough fish to feed the crew, but sold many of the bones later to pay for the repair to their ship. "I could have settled down, taken up the profession of being a humble fisherman, married a rather sweet and caring shark-finned mermaid, and had a few kids with her, but sadly the captain would not relent and eventually we had to continue searching for that accursed treasure, known as the one piece."
His wife asked him if he would have actually done that given the chance, even though it could end up with his own dream of becoming the best swordsman in the world, Hector told her without much hesitation that at the time the answer would be yes, he just met Mihawk, and he saw the man slice a ship in half with one slash of his sword. "It was a sobering thing to see, to see someone with that level of skill and power, and made me doubt that I could ever match him, much less beat him. I eventually became his student, and one day I did come pretty close to doing that, where he declared me the best swordsman he had ever met, I still say he said that out of sheer sympathy or pity."
Hector looked at his friend and couldn't help but shake his head as he looked at him, "And the place we are going makes that one seem less crazy by sheer comparison, chances are the alien ship technology was freely shared, so no chance of there ever being MBI, that could have led to some amazing and horrifying scientific developments, it is in my experience that given the chance the first thing people will try to invent after discovering something this amazing is, new methods of killing each other, weaponize the living crap out of that alien technology and science."
His wife told him to stop looking at it as if the glass is half empty, instead looking at it as if the glass is half full, saying maybe in that universe they had developed technology to achieve world peace and fatal injuries and diseases were a thing of the past. He could help but smile at his wife's optimistic outlook, he often found it quite adorable, misguided, but adorable. If the dimension they were going to had achieved what some would call a technological and scientific equivalent to Utopia, there would be no reason at all for them to go, they are problem solvers, what need is there for problem solvers in paradise?
That made Hiro begin laughing like he heard the best joke in the past month, "So we are going to be twin brothers, and since Hector over here is going to be the supposed elder brother, I don't have much to worry about, since he would never discriminate or use that against me, but my only question is this, aren't you worried Lilith might show up in that merged universe? She is the one that created the damn thing in the first place."
Their goddess had to admit that the idea did cross her mind, which is another reason why those wagtails would eventually be with her husband if anyone can keep him away from that demon, it was several of those ladies, who wouldn't let her even attempt to try and seduce him, some with liberal use of violence, or worse, the world is highly developed when it comes to technology, and as such one of those wagtails had a talent with breaking into places nobody would think to look for her or finding secrets that people don't want to be disclosed if one of them would kill Lilith, the other would turn her existence into a living hell that she would have to endure.
"The fact is that I can't hold it against you, you had a relationship with her, ages before we ever met, but I can't deny that it irks me something awful seeing how nice and sweet you are with the children you had with her, always the loving father, even when I honestly wish you forget all about that demon's spawns. Never mind that those three daughters are the ones that created the two races that still cause me so many headaches, the Succubi, and the Incubi. Most of them are your grandchildren or descendants, and they are quite proud of that fact."
Hector was not happy to hear that at all, "Look we can talk about everything I have ever done wrong, and we would be here till the end of time and till time restarts once again, did I make mistakes? Yes, who can say they haven't? I even opened a bar to have a place where to drink my sorrows away, mock me if you must, a far cry from being called the most powerful holy light in the universe, to this, are we done salting my old wounds If so I rather discuss our next mission."
His wife told him she was merely expressing her feelings on the subject and did not wish to cause him any harm, be it physical, emotional, or both, "As I said, you both shall be born as children of Minato and as such I expect you two to live up to your father's standard when it comes with how to properly treat your harem, if anything Hiro will have it a lot easier, since the women that he will woe have little to get in the way of a relationship, on the other hand, husband, all those wagtails are the descendants of the very same wagtails that lived when the eight ships that first landed, I expect some trouble because each and every single one of them could be considered a distant relative to both of you."
Hector had to agree with his wife, thanks to most Sekirei being born thanks to Minato, there is no doubt that they each are part of his bloodline like Hiro and Hector are going to be as his sons. "If I am wondering about anything is what our names will be, I know Minato is from the Sahashi Family, so that would mean instead of Bell Carnel he would be Bell Sahashi unless the family name changed through marriage."
That was something Hiro was quite right about, family names can indeed change when daughters of one family marry another family, Hector was more shocked to hear that he was willing to consider the possibility of being named something other than Bell Carnel. "All I know is that essentially I am a copy of Bell, and his greatest fear and the one thing that scared him so much that it remained for the rest of his life is the fight he had against the minotaur, not surprising since he was still level one. So knowing that I will probably be named after someone who killed that beast, probably Theseus."
The Goddess explains that indeed their family name would be Cranel, and due to hundreds of years of interbreeding with humans, after so long, there was hardly anything distinguishable at most the once alien Sekirei were no different than people who received the blessing of a god or goddess to join their Familia. This is why Aphrodite has over one hundred and eight of these Sekirei descendants as part of her Familia. She initially did so to protect them from the mistrust of the people in the dungeon city, Orario, but eventually, she did the proper blessings on them.
All these powerful ladies became adventurers and quickly began to explore the dungeon at an amazing pace, except that there were four Familia that were even better than they were, first was from a Norse Goddess, Loki, whose Familia focused solely on clearing dungeon floors. The second was also a Norse Goddess but nobody could picture a deity whose realm was love, marriage, and beauty to be this brutal, she was as focused on killing monsters as Loki except she also had the unnerving effect that the beauty of the goddess could seduce adventurers from other Familia to leave and join hers.
This earned her much mistrust and downright hatred from the Familia who had members abandon them to join Freya's Familia, she was insulted, ridiculed and many made horrible rumors about her, none of which were in fact true, but in the end, Freya didn't give a damn, she focused on what her Familia was doing and nothing else matters.
The last two were odd, to say the least, a brother and sister who eventually got married, they were Greek deities, and funny enough is where the children of Minato were born, the two toughest Familia in Orario, the reigning champions of ever competition, and every ranking when it came to monsters or levels cleared, they were the Hera and Zeus Familias.
At first, they wanted to form a single Familia call it the Olympus Familia, but when neither Zeus nor Hera couldn't agree on the most basic things, such as what the focus of the Familia should be, they both decided to build their own Familia and compete against each other, this is the reason for their success, both Familia had deities who were married to each other, but the competition always pushed each other to do better, fight harder, finish the fight faster. They were praised and respected, till they were given three almost impossible quests by the world, and the last one killed most of their Familias.
Seeing their chance, Loki and Freya jumped at the chance to take the top places that had once belonged to Hera and Zeus and immediately caused them to be kicked out of Orario, telling them that if they ever wish to return they would have to pay an ungodly amount of money. The sum was by no means an accident, they figured that the amount was so large there is no way that either of the Familia could gather or earn as much, and working together was impossible since they treated each other as rivals and the Familia members had deep mistrust.
The Hera and Zeus Familia managed to survive for the most part thanks to two things, their knowledge of medicines, potions, and other things adventurers would want or need, and the second was their ability to grow tremendous amounts of crops on their lands, turns out that the ability to use lightning was useful for something other than kill things.
"Why am I telling you this? You already know how each of the series should be, but things have changed a lot thanks to these two universes merging, so you shouldn't assume that the knowledge you have is completely accurate. You both shall be born as the children of Minato, that is true, however, you are also the grandsons of Zeus and Hera. As the grandchildren of the two former monarchs of Mt. Olympus, I imagine you two would be rather popular or infamous with the deities and the Familia in Orario, so I am also telling you to keep that a secret, till you manage to pay off the penalty fine so that both the Hera and Zeus Familia may return to Orario, and to make things even more difficult there is an added clause, that states only a person who is not part of a Familia may pay for the return of the Hera and Zeus Familia, to make things even more difficult for them to return."
