"Please honey, get out!"
"Ahhhh!"
"Leave-"
Startled, a red haired boy sat upright from the position he had been sleeping in. Sweet causing his clothing to stick to his skin in an uncomfortable manner. The hot breath exiting his chapped lips as he panted, making way for the cold air surrounding his form.
After he regained his composure his body finally recognized the chilling air it's been exposed to and a shiver ran down the red head's spine.
Sighing he stood up from the futon, neatly folded the fabric of the bed and placed it in the corner of the sleeping area he shared with his master, his reason for living. His most precious person.
Whipping off the sweat from his face he looked around for the older man he'd been staying with since he was 3. There was no one, but the boy's shape sense of smell lead him outside the tent the pair shared.
The younger of the two's violet eyes landed on his master tending to a fire not far off no doubt for breakfast. He walked closer to the man and sat next to him, gaze fixated on the flame in front of him. The flame, a mixture of red, orange and yellow, lit up the area surrounding them and offered the two heat in the cold morning hours.
"That dream again."
The silence that fell onto the student and teacher was broken when the older male addressed his student. The phrase, meant to be a question, was spoken instead in a statement. It didn't take the tall boy long to answer the man.
"Hai, sensei."
His answer was short, it always was, he was never one to chatter. Much preferring solitude and the comfort of his own mind and Momochi Zabuza was not complaining. He had been having some trouble sleeping because of a dream his teacher had only one clue as to what it might be but if the boy had not told him yet then he wouldn't ask till the information was needed.
The missing nin stood up from his seat on the damp floor and headed back towards the shared tent where he grabbed a scroll used to store uncooked fish the pair caught during their visit to Kumo for a mission several days ago. Seeming slightly hesitate, but quickly shifting back to his emotionless mask, he called his companion's name.
"Naruto."
"Yes sensei?"
His middle aged man locked eyes with the younger boy's, his trained mask not allowing the child's emotions to slip. He was the perfect representation of a Shinobi.
"It's fine."
The redette nodded his head and turned his attention back to the source of light and heat dancing in front of him. The muscular man sat down next to the boy and started preparing the fish he unsealed from the scroll.
The rest of the morning continued in silence, only interrupted by the crackling of a slowly dying flame and two's chewing, although even that dulled back into silence.
The younger of the two got up from his seat, buried the flame in the dirt digged out from the pit it was currently located in and left his sensei to continue with the day's training.
This was how every day started for the pair and soon, as per routine, Zabuza would join his student for a spar then set off to find their next mission. After he returns he'd check on the progress his student has made.
NARUTO's POV
After getting dressed my usual attires I set off to an open field where I could begin my training routine. I wasn't all that worried that Zabuza wouldn't find me, he just always knew where to look for me.
It didn't take long for me to find my spot, and I started off with a Taijutsu style sensei thought me a few years ago, it wasn't as aggressive as his, focusing more on speed and stealth than power.
I moved through each kata like water flowing from a stream, my movements perfectly matching the style's name, Water lily dance. The style relied heavily on the user's flexibility and speed, and, having inherited my mother's preferences when it came to our fighting style, it fit me perfectly.
With a little bit of tweaking, and help from sensei, I was able to incorporate seals into the stances. This came in handy, especially when one was an Uzumaki, as the art of sealing has been drilled into every Uzumaki child since the young age of 3.
Around an hour passed before Zabuza made his appearance, by then I had already started with the exercise the older man created for me. He watched for a moment, scanning each of my movements with a calculating gaze. This continued till he felt pleased then joined my in our routine sparring match.
GENERAL POV
The red head vanished into the foliage but the missing nin made no move to fibnd him, instead forming all too familiar hand seals and the area was coated in a thick mist the older man only then vanishing from the clearing.
CLASH*
*CLANG*
*CLASH*
Kunai and shuriken flew through the air, cutting through it and clashing mid-way to it's target. Traps were set and triggered, seals laid and activated. The trees stood there, now bare from the fire released from the young Uzumaki's seals, and drenched in the water jutsu used by both parties, but the pair continued on with their battle. The conditioned bodies littered in cuts and bruises from their short battle, but the battle has already reached its climax and the winner already decided.
Sensei and student clashed, sword and kunai drawn, with superior strength the older of the pair struck and pinned the younger to the damp grass below them, blade to his chest where his heart is located.
"You lose, Naruto."
"Always be aware of your surroundings, sensei."
The boy he had pinned to the ground dissolved into water and the former mist nin felt his body grow numb. His student stood behind him, a slight smile on his face, with a brush in hand.
ZABUZA'S POV
I looked down to see I was standing in the middle of a spiral seal, the ink started to move and crawl up my legs.
"You win."
I stated and the spiraling seal retracted and then vanished as if nothing was there in the first place.
"Hai, sensei."
His tone was emotionless, just like I taught him. Resealing his brush and ink he left towards the open field I found him in before our match to continue his training.
I, too left towards our new client, Gatou, he'd requested we complete a mission for him and I was off to his base in Wave were to terms of our agreement will be discussed. If something happened he could just infuse chakra into the seal Naruto drew onto him and his student would be alerted that there was trouble. His student may have been young, but he was strong and a perfect tool.
That's the end of this chapter, thanks for reading!!!!!!
