Defenestrate - to throw someone or something out of a window
"Sam, I swear to God if you touch the radio one more fucking time, I'm going to throw you out the window." Dean was seething, Sam had changed the radio station just as the best part of Ramble On started playing. "And that's not a threat - it's a fucking promise." Sam didn't even have the decency to look abashed, instead he just gave Dean his signature bitch face.
Cas, however, shifted his gaze from the window, which displayed the wide open fields of Nebraska, to shoot a confused look at Sam.
"Why would you defenestrate Sam? It seems illogical, seeing how you care about the well being of both Sam and your car, to threaten to do something that would harm both of them simultaneously." Cas looked so genuinely befuddled that Dean couldn't help but snort at his cluelessness. (It also helped that Cas looked completely adorable whenever he scrunched up his nose like that.) No matter how long he stuck around it seemed like the dorky little guy would never understand the purpose of empty threats.
"It's sarcasm, Cas. Sammy here -" Dean shot him a nasty look. "- thinks it's funny to mess with the radio, even though he knows the rules: 'Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole.'" Sam mimicked Dean as he quoted himself, mouthing every word melodramatically to himself. Dean and Cas were - yet again - too busy eye fucking having a staring contest to pay any attention to Sam.
"Ah, I believe I understand now - You threatened to commit defenestration to prove to Sam that you are serious about choosing the music." Cas nodded sagely, eyes boring into Dean from his place in the back seat of the Impala.
"Yes, Cas, I threatened to 'defenestrate' Sam to prove how much of a little bitch he is."
Sam flipped the radio station yet again and shot his brother another smug bitch face.
