This is the true story of Grimmel the Grisly and his mission. He did not begin as The Night Fury Killer but rather as boy very much like Hiccup; intelligent, inventive, knows his way around a forge, and is a mechanical genius. At the age if six he was sent away to study in The Hall Of The Riders. Its was never intended or thought possible for Grimmel to become a Dragon Rider, but he did and in doing so he opened up a whole treasure trove of new dragon knowledge by being the first to ride a Fury as well as the first to meet a Light Fury and live to tell the tale. Now, where as Night Furies were then common and known for their playful curiosity but due to the Curse of the Strickening it was forbidden to try and ride a Night Fury. You see we Furies give live birth so the origin of these creatures is unknown; these creatures being: The Stricken Furies. They are soulless animated Night Fury corpses in a sense, and in order for one to be created: a Night Fury EGG has to come in contact with dark magic, then be placed on the peak of a mountain, and then struck by lightning. At the moment the egg is struck what hatches is no dragon but a demon; we dragons fear Stricken Furies.
