I Love You, I Really Do
Courtney Flores was sitting down on a bench, basking in the glow of her victory in today's superhero-themed challenge. Courtney's spandex superhero outfit was starting to get uncomfortable, but she was way too happy about her success to really care. Courtney's happiness grew when she saw her boyfriend, Duncan Maloney, come walking up to her, sitting next to her, and giving her a soft peck on the cheek.
"Hey, Court."
"Hey, Duncey."
"Congrats on the victory today, didn't know you had it in you," Duncan said.
"Thanks, I did A LOT of training in my time away from Total Drama. That prize money is going to be mine by the end of this show. I'll split it with you, of course," Courtney said, a playful smirk on her face, which Duncan responded to by chuckling and ruffling Courtney's hair to the point where the fake antennas of her costume were knocked askew.
"It really showed. Also, 'The Human Cricket'? How did you think of that one?"
"Sorry, it wasn't as creative as 'The All Seeing Eye'," Courtney joked, poking the fake eye on the center of Duncan's forehead.
"Hey, not my fault I can't rock the spandex as well as you can," Duncan complimented, giving Courtney a light spank on the butt, causing her to blush. Duncan then saw Harold in his peripheral vision and smirked before standing up. "You wanna see my ability to tell the future in action, babe?" Duncan asked while cracking his knuckles, causing Courtney to chuckle before putting her hand on her forehead, and clearing her throat.
"Oh, All Seeing Eye! Please, I must know the future of Captain Alberta! The entire world depends on it!" Courtney exclaimed in her best over-dramatic voice. Duncan tried to hold back his laughter as he put a pointer finger on his fake eye, closing his real ones before opening one of his eyes.
"I see Captain Alberta about to face another harsh and painful lesson," Duncan responded. Duncan then immediately ran over to Harold, and gave him an atomic wedgie, putting his underwear over his head before literally kicking his ass, sending him falling down face first onto the ground. It was now Courtney's turn to try and hold back her laughter as Harold let out an 'Idiot!' before Duncan came running back, immediately putting his All Seeing Eye persona back on. "Another vision has come true. Hopefully, this lesson will teach Captain Alberta to mind his business," Duncan said.
"You really don't have to keep bullying Harold for me, you know. I can take care of myself," Courtney said with a smile while patting Duncan's cheek.
"Not like it's much trouble for me. The little dork's been annoying me since the second I met him. Plus…you really don't know how much I missed you after you got eliminated last season," Duncan admitted, scratching the back of his head with a light blush dusting his cheeks. Courtney couldn't help but smile at Duncan exposing his more sensitive side, since this was something he only really did with her. Courtney sat in Duncan's lap before giving him another kiss on the cheek, to which Duncan responded with a peck of his own.
"I missed you too, Duncey," Courtney said, her voice muffled since her face and mouth were pressed against Duncan's chest. Duncan ran her hands through Courtney's milk chocolate hair, her fingers grazing the freckles above her nose and between her eyes as the two simply enjoyed each other's company. This wasn't something they had the chance to do since they became a couple last season, given Courtney's premature elimination at Harold's hands, the fact that they were fighting multiple other teams for a million dollars right after Total Drama Island, and the fact that Courtney wasn't initially chosen for Total Drama Action. Since Courtney came back to the show, she and Duncan dedicated themselves to trying and spending as much time as they could with each other.
"I love you," Courtney whispered into Duncan's ear, causing Duncan's head to spring up, looking down at Courtney in surprise. Courtney looked up at Duncan, and while smiling up at him, Duncan smiled down at Courtney and kissed her on the forehead.
"I love you too, Princess," Duncan replied, peppering her forehead and cheeks with kisses. Harold made a gagging motion with his mouth and pointer finger, and before Duncan could respond, Courtney grabbed one of the shutters that she had used for her Human Cricket costume and threw it right at Harold's midsection. Duncan laughed as Harold writhed on the ground in agony, and Courtney and Duncan continued their cuddling session while Harold was helped to the infirmary.
