"Harry? You visit unannounced likes always I see," Fleur said, laughing as she opened the door and motioned him into Shell Cottage. "Bill is at work, you will have to put up with me and Gabrielle. That is fine, no?"

Harry smiled and nodded as he took a seat on the very familiar couch in their parlour room. "That's more than fine — two beautiful French witches, Bill's a lucky man to come home to them every night."

"You flatterer," Fleur said with a beautiful smile on her face as she made her way towards the kitchen. "Tea is fine?"

"Definitely, thank you, Fleur. Oh, why is Gabrielle here if you don't mind my asking?" Harry didn't remember Fleur's sister visiting much, not unless something was wrong with her parents or the like.

Fleur yelled her response from the kitchen as she put a kettle on. "Gabrielle wants to move here for some reason. I can not understand why, the sun of France and our beaches are much better. The food here is… not as parfai— perfect, as ours is either," Fleur entered back into the parlour room and sat down opposite of him. "You are visiting again just as she is, did something happen at the Ministry?"

With Ron and Hermione gone on an adventure to find the latter's parents, Harry was left essentially alone; Ginny and he had separated, Luna and Neville were off trying to prove the existence of other creatures… Bill and Fleur were the most logical step to visit. It helped that they didn't mind either, they were great people.

All the Weasleys are.

He shook his head. "Nah, not really. I'm sorry for dropping by without any warning too, there's just not many people I can visit. Almos—"

"No, no no," Fleur said, cutting him off and waving her hands to stop him. "I was teasing you, playing, William and I don't mind whenever you come to spend time with us. Never, 'Arr… Harry. If anything, you came in time to visit little Gabrielle, her crush on you is as adorable as always."

"She still has a crush on me, huh?" Harry answered, smiling at Fleur and her wicked manners.

Fleur nodded whilst somehow keeping her nose raised. "Gabrielle, to her you are a hero. It's not like the others either, those silly witches you like your title or galleons," Fleur's eyes tracked something over Harry's shoulder, but she continued anyways, a smirk growing on her face. "For Gabby, you are a prince like the ones she read about. She had her perfect boy pull her from water and risk himself to rescue her, perfect non?"

Harry smiled and looked away from Fleur's knowing look.

Gabrielle… she'd grown to be just as beautiful as Fleur with an even more innocent personality. She was beautiful, smart, polite, always eager to see him; Ginny was the opposite towards the end, even smart when she spoke without thinking. Had it not been for some of her final remarks, maybe they'd still be friends.

"I gu—" Harry's delayed response died as somebody dove over his shoulder to land on Fleur.

He nearly reached for his wand and fired a stunner, at least until he saw the long, golden-blonde hair and figure that almost identically matched Fleur.

"Hi Gabrielle," Harry said instead, laughing as she play-wrestled Fleur in an attempt to silence her.

I wonder why Fleur didn't stop her from doin- oh.

Gabrielle was wearing some tight-fitting Muggle pants, they looked less like fabric or jeans and more like the stuff those see-through socks were made of. When he caught Fleur's eyes despite her wrestling with the smaller girl and saw her wink, he figured she was trying to play him into checking out her sister.

Fleur was just as adamant that the two date as Gabrielle was in her attempts to get a date with him. Bill, he would mention it randomly and in passing, but even he seemed to think the two would make a pretty wicked couple even if he didn't say as much.

"H-Hi, 'Arry," Gabrielle got out between breaths as she finally fell to the side of Fleur and crossed her arms, the wrestling bout lost and her energy used up as she pouted at her big sister. "You are well?"

"I am," Harry said, his eyes flickering between the two young women as he fought to contain a chuckle. "How about you? Has everything been alright?"

Gabby nodded whilst still on her back and pouting. "Ouais, everything has been good. I am here, I will live in England soon. We will have to meet up a lot, you can show me Dyegon Alley."

"Diagon," Fleur corrected, flicking Gabrielle's nose. "I told you to study your Anglai— English before you came, didn't I? Why do you still use your French words and have such a strong accent?"

"Ç'est bon, 'Arry can teach me," Gabrielle said, shrugging and finally swinging her legs to get up and off of the couch.

"Do you see that, Harry?" Fleur asked, laughing as Gabrielle moved closer to him. "The tricky witch planned on getting lessons from you. You'll be a good gentleman and help her, no?"

Right at that moment, Bill floo'd into the home and saw the impromptu meeting taking place in his parlour room. He didn't greet his wife first, nor his sister in law, no, he nodded at Harry and spoke to him. "Alright, Harry?"

Harry nearly laughed with how simple and almost expectant the man's words were when he saw his presence. "Alright," Harry agreed. "I was just talking with Fleur and Gabrielle about helping Gabby's English. Apparently she didn't study enough for Fleur's liking."

"She did not," Fleur said, narrowing her eyes and reaching out to pinch Gabrielle, but the girl moved away too quickly for her older sister. "Gabrielle planned it, I am sure. Anything to get her Harry time."

Gabrielle blushed and muttered something in French. Fleur laughed at whatever was said, but he and Bill were left just looking between them until Fleur elaborated. "My little Gabby is embarrassed, she doesn't like getting teased."

"Fair enough… is there tea boiling right now?" Bill asked, hearing the start of the kettle's noise as Fleur clapped her hands together and stood up.

"I put some on for Harry. Come, William, we will make it together. You were missed today," Fleur then grabbed her husband's hand and pulled, taking him swiftly over to the kitchen and leaving Harry with a very googly-eyed Gabrielle.

Harry cleared his throat, hoping that'd bring some sense back to the blushing but still staring French girl.

"So… what made you decide to move here?" He asked when Gabrielle made no motion to speak or stop looking at him with that cute awkwardness she'd mastered.

"Fleur told me she could help with a job as a curse-breaker, help me get one, I mean. It was what I wanted to do, she was my… my…" Gabby huffed. "You know the word I'm looking for, non?"

"Role model, I think?" Harry offered, smiling when Gabby did the same and bounced slightly with happiness.

"Ouais, that! It is what I meant — Fleur, I look up to her. I wanted to work in the Ministry with my Papa, but I could not. No job was available, but Fleur told me we could work together here, for Gringots, so it is what I do," Gabby finished with a smile before she moved closer to him, finally taking his hand without any sort of shyness as she pulled him towards the stairs. "Quickly, before Fleur comes back. We can spend time together in private."

"She was getting te—" Harry stopped speaking when he saw Fleur leaning against the doorway with a smug smile on her face.

You set me up, he mouthed to her.

Fleur shrugged and waved to him, that smile growing as she watched her little sister pull him up the stairs and out of sight.

"You will help me with Anglais, non? It is hard to practise alone or with other French speakers, and you have always been good to me 'Arry," Gabrielle sat him down on her bed, closed the door and promptly cuddled right up to him. "I hope to one day work with you in the Ministry too. I would not be a great Auror, I think, but a secretary or trainer I would do well as."

Harry blinked at Gabrielle a few times. "You want to work with me in the Ministry?"

"Oui, oui!" Gabrielle said, nodding emphatically and smiling up at him. "The French Ministry, it is full and I am qualified to work in the same department you currently do. I want to work in solving cases or helping do admin-is-trat-ive… stuff."

He couldn't help but smile when she slowly said the word 'administrative', the little clapping she did afterwards and the proud look she shot him was one of the most adorable things he'd ever seen.

"Come work with me then," Harry said simply, watching Gabrielle's face light up as her eyes widened.

"You can hire as the Head Auror?" She asked, her small hands fisting up his shirt as she got even closer to him.

Harry shook his head. "As Head Auror, no, but luckily I'm not the Head Auror anymore — Kingsley, Minister Shacklebolt to the public, he made be the Director of Magical Law Enforcement when the old one finally got to enjoy his retirement. I was actually talking to him about getting an Assistant Director too, it's a bit too much for one person," Harry nodded a few times, watching her smile grow. "I have to restructure everything, and I'd definitely enjoy having somebody I can trust help me with it."

"Merci beaucoup, 'Arry, tu etes parfait!" Gabrielle fired off before jumping into his lap and pressing her lips against his.

"Already?" He heard from the doorway, the voice only a whisper.

Gabrielle gasped against his lips and tore her face from his, her cheeks already blushing a beautiful red. "Fleur! Yo-yo-you… tu put—"

"Do not forget who helped you with your boy problems, little Gabby," Fleur warned, only her head visible around the door. "Go back to your kissing. I was only making sure you two were not going too fast — Harry, treat my lovely sister right, no? You are a good friend and the two of you deserve happiness, but I will get Maman to throw fire at you if you are mean to my Gabby."

Harry nodded a few times. "I'll be good to her, Merlin knows she's finally got me."

"She's had you for a long time," Fleur said as she finally made her leave.

Alone again, Harry turned his attention back to Gabrielle. "You've had me for a long time, is that right?"

Gabby nodded enthusiastically, her attention shifting between his lips and his eyes. "Ouais. I have tried since the war was over to date you. I think it is only thanks to me constantly flirting that you didn't pick a witch too, non? You were waiting for me to make the first move."

"I don't know about all that," Harry said, grinning as Gabrielle started poking him in the cheek. "Maybe, maybe I was thinking about dating you. I wanted Fleur and Bill's permission first though, and I wanted to make sure it wouldn't be weird or anything."

"Fleur loves you like a little brother already, just like William does," Gabby said knowingly as she seated herself back in his lap and rested her head against his chest. "I know it is early, but I love you lots too, 'Arry."

Harry wrapped his arms around Gabby and slowly reclined, holding her tightly to him.

Merlin, it felt great holding a witch again.

It helped that it was somebody he'd liked for a pretty long time too. Gabrielle… she was amazing, better and nicer than nearly all other people he'd ever fancied, much less spoke with.

"Ah, 'Arry?" Gabrielle asked.

He shook his head, freeing himself from thinking. "Yeah?"

"You will kiss me again, yes? Please?" Gabrielle asked, looking at him with that same pout from earlier.

Merlin help me.

That was the last thing Harry thought as Gabrielle's lips closed in on his own.
