"Whelp it seems that I have just stolen a hover bike."
Rosalie and the rest of the vampires in the Cullen household all perked up as they heard the familiar voice coming from outside their home. It had been three months since Isabella had left and none of them had expected to see her any time soon. In that time the Denali coven had bought a house close by to live in while Bella went to high school. Although they preferred to stay together the sisters had broken up for the time being leaving only Tanya, Eleazar and Carmen living in the house. Kate and Garrett had left to travel a bit and have some time alone as a newly mated couple while Irina had followed Maggie back to Ireland to see where her mate came from. They had all planned on visiting each other and eventually living together once Bella's future was planned had been peaceful since Isabella's visit so no one was expecting her to return so soon.
"I told Tanya these two would be trouble. I just knew I would get pulled back here." Isabella sighed as she watched Rosalie, Emmett, Esme and Carlisle race out of the house to meet her.
"Isabella!" Rosalie ran up to the vampire and pulled her into a hug. "What are you doing here?"
Isabella gladly returned the hug."Hello Rosalie. It's good to see you. As for what I am doing here that is the question I wish to ask you."
"What do you mean?" Carlisle asked excited that Isabella was back. In the time since she left he had thought of hundreds of more questions to ask her. Hopefully she would be able to stay longer this time.
"I mean I wasn't planning on coming here today. I got pulled here randomly. That means Tanya and Bella are in some kind of danger." Isabella explained.
Esme gasped. "What danger are they in?"
"I think we should call them to come over. They may know something we don't." Carlisle said already pulling out his cell phone.
"Forget all that boring stuff." Emmett didn't care about danger he cared about the weird metal thing that Isabella was standing in front of. "What is that thing?"
Isabella motioned to the vehicle behind her. "This? It's a hover bike. I was in the process of buying it when I was pulled here and because of that I am not going to be able to go back to that dealership to get my Rosalie another one. It's to bad to,they made really cool custom parts."
"What is a hover bike?" Now that Rosalie got over the shock of seeing Isabella again she was just as excited as Emmett about the hover bike. She couldn't begin to imagine how it worked.
"It's exactly what it sounds like. You simply turn it on like this and it hovers." Isabella turned the bike on causing it to hover over the grass.
"Holy shit!" Emmett exclaimed.
"Emmett language." Esme scolded.
"Who cares about language, that thing is so cool. Can I ride it?" Emmett asked.
"I don't see why not. Just try not to crash it. It is suppose to be a gift for my Rosalie." By the look of interest in this Rosalie's eyes Isabella came to the conclusion that she would have to go back to the previous dimension and find a different dealer to buy another one because it was obvious this one was staying here.
Rosalie put her hand on Emmett's shoulder before he climbed on the bike. "Before you ride you should at least learn how to operate it."
"Spoilsport." Emmett grumbled.
"I have never ridden one myself but I have the manual for it with me. So if you would like to learn how to use it you will have to read it to find out how." Bella pulled a book out of the large duffel bag she had been carrying and handed it to an eager Rosalie.
Rosalie flipped through the book in excitement. She knew this wasn't a present for her but she was going to try and get Isabella to let her have it. A hover bike was a lot cooler than the car engine she was originally going to ask Isabella for. All she had to do is keep it away from Kate. If that maniac got her hands on it she would wreck it in seconds. "How is it powered?"
"The dimension I got it from doesn't use fossil fuels so it's completely electric. I believe it's charged with solar energy but I didn't get to finish my conversation with the salesman before I left." Isabella told them.
Before Rosalie could ask anymore questions Tanya came running up to the group carrying Bella on her back. "We came as fast as we could. Carmen and Eleazar will be here soon. I had them contact Kate and Irina."
Not even a second later Alice and Jasper came running out of the woods. Alice went straight to Isabella and gave her a hug. "Hello Isabella, we didn't expect you to come back so soon."
"I didn't expect to come back so soon either to be honest." Isabella told them.
Alice pointed at the hover bike."What is that thing?"
"It's a hover bike! It doesn't have wheels it flies through the air." Emmett told her excitedly. "Isabella said I could ride it but Rosalie has to figure out how it works first."
"I thought you didn't like any type of vehicles." Alice said.
"Oh I would never ride it personally." Isabella shuddered at the thought. "I got it as a gift for my Rosalie. That's the reason I got the manual. So she could figure out how it worked."
"Hello Isabella,welcome back." Eleazar called out as he and Carmen exited their car. When he heard Isabella was back he wanted to race over with Tanya but stayed behind so they could contact Kate and Irina. Seeing every one looking at some kind of contraption he asked. "What's that?"
"It's a hover bike." Jasper said as he inspected the vehicle. He couldn't figure out exactly how it worked. He hoped that after Rosalie was done with the manual she would let him borrow it as it seemed like she was going to be the eventual owner of the bike.
"That's amazing. How does it work?" Eleazar couldn't imagine how the vehicle moved without wheels. He couldn't see any visible engine so he had no clue what made it work.
"It hovers." Tanya told him impatiently. "Let's get to the topic of why Isabella is here. You said we were in danger?"
Isabella nodded happy to get back on track. "Yes I believe so as I was pulled here against my will. That only happens when one of you are in danger. Unfortunately I don't have a clue what that danger is and until it's dealt with I can't go home. If I tried I would just get pulled back until it was taken care of."
"Have you seen anything Alice?" Tanya asked. She was happy to see Isabella again but not happy that it was for such a bad reason.
"Nothing." Alice told her.
Carmen's phone dinged catching everyone's attention."Kate and Garrett will be here by tomorrow and Irina is coming on the first flight she can get. She is bringing Maggie, Siobhan and Liam with her."
Tanya sighed in relief. "At least we will have help when we find out what's going on."
"Do you guys have any enemies that would like to get revenge?" Isabella asked.
"I don't personally." Tanya looked to her mate. "Bella could you think of anyone who would want to harm you?"
Bella shook her head. "The only people I interact with are all of you and the wolves. I don't think they are a danger though."
"Does the threat have to be towards Tanya and Bella or just involve them?" Carlisle couldn't think of who would want to hurt Bella or even Tanya. If they were just involved though it could open up more possibilities.
"It has to be against one of them or both of them. If it just involved them I wouldn't be pulled here because they were taking part in the event under their own free will. It may be my job to protect them but fate doesn't expect me to protect them from themselves luckily or I would never get a break from traveling." Isabella explained.
"Ok so that goes back to threats. I think we should speak with the wolves. Even if they aren't the threat it could involve them if whatever is going to happen happens here." Tanya hoped the wolves were innocent because they were Bella's friends and her mate would be heartbroken if they betrayed her somehow.
Isabella perked up hearing about the wolves. "If you are talking to the wolves then I'm going with you. I want a chance to ask them some questions. I have many after speaking to my coven and showing them the picture I brought home."
"If Isabella is going to go talk with the wolves then I'm going as well." Rosalie wasn't worried about Isabella getting hurt. She just didn't want to miss another chance to see Isabella coo and insult the wolves. It was one of the greatest moments of her life the first time she witnessed it.
"How about we wait until everyone else arrives before we involve the wolves." Unlike Rosalie Carlisle did not want a repeat of their last interaction with the wolves. He knew it was only because of their deep confusion over Isabella that it didn't turn violent. He had no doubt that the next time they met the wolves would not hold back from attacking if Isabella acted like, well herself towards them.
"While we wait let's play with the hover bike." Emmett wasn't worried about any threat. Not only did they have a bunch of allies they had Isabella. If it started turning out bad then her shield alone could protect everybody. All she had to do was make everyone invisible and they could get away. He wondered if they could fight while they were invisible. He would have to ask Isabella later. Now he wanted to figure out the hover bike.
"You aren't touching it until I finish reading the manual." Rosalie told him. She loved Emmett but he wasn't very careful with things. She had no doubt if he got a chance to just jump on the hover bike he would break it and Rosalie doubted they would be able to get parts to fix it.
"Isabella while they do that would you like to come in and spend some time with us. We all have so many things we would love to talk to you about." Eleazar had been dying to talk to Isabella about some of the things she had told them on her previous visit. After she left he had done extensive research on any documented cases of a vampire body being modified and found nothing. There were rumors of course but nothing factual.
"Sure, I guess we don't have much to do until everyone is all here." Isabella followed Eleazar, Carmen, Carlisle, Esme and Tanya into the house. The rest of the group was looking over the hover bike much to Isabella's amusement. It reminded her of her own coven when she brought back new things for them. Thinking of her coven caused her a bit of sadness because she had been so excited to go home. She had been gone for almost two weeks from home while dealing with another false mate bond situation. This one involving Tanya. Although it was a quick fix with the time difference between her dimension and others the four days it took there was two weeks at home. Luckily in this dimension time seemed to move quicker because as she settled on the couch in the living room she had a feeling whatever was wrong here was going to take a while to fix.
