Addison was done with the surgery of Callie and Sofia. She first went to check on her and spent some time with her. Addison gave Callie an update on her life, she knew Callie would love to hear the fantastic stories of LA. Addison switched off with Mark, she put a hand on his shoulder and told him "I'm going to go and check on Sofia" She seen him nod his head and exited the room.

Addison reached the NICU and saw Karev looking over Sofia's vitals. "How is she doing?" Addison asked Karev as she looked at her goddaughter in the incubator.

"Her vitals seem to be good so far" Alex tells Addison has he looks at the chart then at her.

"Good thank you. I can take over if you want." Addison told Alex.

"Are you sure?" Alex asked Addison.

"Yeah, I leave in the morning and I probably won't be back until another 2 weeks to check on her" Addison says as she looks at goddaughter.

"You don't trust that I'll have her?" Alex asked Addison who was shaking her head.

"No, it's not you. I trust you. It's the new Obgyn. She brushed Calie off numerous times, and didn't give Callie that reassurance. I understand Callie was doing a bit much but you gotta have patients be comfortable even if the slightly of blood." Addison explained to Alex which he nodded his family in understanding from his former mentor.

"I gotcha.", Alex hands Addison the the charts "Have fun godmom" Alex exits out the room.

Addison found a chair in the room and put it next to Sofia's incubator. She opened it up and sat down in the chair. Addison stroked Sofia's head lightly, her goddaughter hooked up to various wires knowing they were helping her. It pulled at Addison's heartstrings because this was her goddaughter.

"Hey Sofia, I'm your Tia Addison." Addison says to the baby who is possibly asleep "I helped deliver you today. Your daddy called me, he wanted the best of the best to save you." Addison tells Sofia as she moves her body slightly. "You are going to be loved by so many people, babies. I promise you. Even though Tia lives all the way in LA, I promise you I will still visit every 2 weeks. Even when you get out of the hospital." Sofia makes a slight whining noise "I know but titi had to work and live in LA. When you get bigger mamas you can visit me anytime you want, Tia Addison got you." Addison moves her hand from the baby head and she moves her hands to Sofia's hand.

"Don't tell mommy but I started a trust fund for you. Your dad has already put in it, so has yours mom Arizona has a well. Even my brother Archer puts money into the fund. so by the time you're older you'll be able to use it and have enough. We want you to have a great future princess." Addison says as she looks at the monitors keeping her goddaughter alive. "What would you want to be huh?" Addison asked as if Sofia could respond to her. "Yeah that's pretty cool. Doctors run in your family. Your dad is a plastic surgeon, your mom is an orthopedic, your other mom is a peds surgeon, and I'm a double-board surgeon certified obgyn and a spieclity in a few others things so you can brag about it when you get older. So anything medical you know you will have different opinions and beliefs. Yet we will effectively come together to save a patient, even you Sofia." Addison says to the baby in front of her care.

"I might have a nickname for you. It's Princess warrior or warrior princess, because I know you will be strong enough to get through this. You are strong, and I know which parents you get it from. It's your mom Callie. She's a force to be reckon with in the OR room. It's kinda cool seeing her break bones or to fix them. Yet I would have to learn how to say it in spanish. Your dad will kill me if I didn't know how. Your dad wants you to learn Spanish girly. I know, don't worry mama Callie got that for you. Ohhh just wait until you're older, we're going to have so many dance parties. Your mom Callie and I are the party animal. What? We got a rep to uphold and you're going to love it." Addison yawned and looked at the time "Tia is getting tired but look Titi is going to be here if anything happens"

Addison closed the incubator, brought the table closer to her, folded her arms and laid on it and fell asleep next to her goddaughter. Addison was awoken by the incubator being opened, she stretched and rubbed an eye to see Alex standing next to Sofia.

"Hey sleeping beauty." Alex smartly said to Addison.

"Hey, she was good, no issues" Addison says as she looks over at her goddaughter. "Imma get ready to go. I just gotta find Mark." Addison got up from the chair, she reached for Sofia's hand and said "Titi, is going to be back in two weeks. You better make some progress princesa. I love you" Addison says as she turns away and exits the NICU.

On her way out she stopped by Callie's room. She quickly talked to the unconscious Latina and went to find Mark. She gave him the details on Sofia and told him to call her once Callie was awake. She informed that she would be back in two weeks to check on Sofia and that Alex was the only one who was in charge of taking care of her in her absence.

Addison left the hospital no longer feeling weird but feeling relieved she had a new reason to come back home.
