It had been a pretty stressful few months for Gregory. From the first court hearing to all the meetings with the police and WWE, he was exhausted. When he got back to his apartment in London, he kicked his shoes off at the door and placed his head against the door. "Otōto? (Little brother?)" A voice said. He turned around to see Anita standing there. He immediately wrapped his arms around her and just held her. "I'm sorry you have to go through this. I understand completely that this is hard on you." She told him. He started sobbing and she just held him tighter. "She's going to an institution." Gregory sobbed. Anita led him to the couch and they sat down. "She'll get the help she needs there, Greg." Anita said wiping away his tears. "She looked so scared, like a child! I couldn't bear to see her like that!" Gregory cried. "It's all right now, Greg. She's getting help. That's all that matters now." Anita soothes. Gregory scrubs his hands over his face and looks at Anita. "Otōto, you should get some rest. I'll stay over tonight. I'll call Damian and let him know." Anita told him. He nods and heads to his room to take a shower. While Gregory was in the shower, Anita made him something to eat. She cleaned up around his apartment and then sat at his island. He walked out of the bathroom and saw Anita sitting there. "How is everyone doing?" He asked. "Good. We were all worried about you. Irelynn asks for you all the time." Anita told him. "Little Rosie," Gregory mumbled with a smile. "I'll do the dishes while you go lay down. You are so exhausted." Anita told him. "Is it sad to say that I wish my mum was here?" Gregory asked her. "No. It's not. Everyone needs their Mom sometimes." Anita said. "Thank you for being here." Gregory told Anita. "Always. I'll always be there for you, Greg. You were there for me when I went through the worst thing anyone could go through." Anita told him, wrapping her arms around him. "I just don't know what to do now. I'm trying to continue like normal, but I don't know how." Gregory said. "Did her mom say anything to you?" Anita asked him. "She said I made her this way when I told her that we were done. She went crazy because she didn't have me to stable her." Gregory said. "What did Dylan tell her?"
"That it's not my place to keep Latica stable. Latica should've gotten help long before now, but she was convinced that I'd be back for her and her mom fed into the fantasy." Gregory said. Anita sighed and leaned her head on his. "Well, now you can move forward with Violet and not have to worry that Latica will show up to ruin it." Anita told him. Gregory smiled and looked up at Anita. "I'm going to call her before I go to sleep." He said, untangling himself for Anita's arms. "Good. She's been an anxious mess because she hasn't heard from you in awhile." Anita told him, rubbing his shoulder. "Thank you again, Anita. I don't know what I'd do if you weren't here." He told her before going into his room. Anita picked up her phone and called Damian. "Hey. I was just about to call you." Damian said as he answered. "I need you to do something for me." Anita said. "Okay. Name it." He said. "Can you, Violet, and Irelynn come over to Gregory's?" Anita asked. "Of course. Let me get our bags and Violet. We'll be right there." Damian told her. "How is he?"
"Exhausted. Her mother had the nerve to blame the way her daughter ended up on Gregory. Latica's mother is to blame. She actually fed into her dilusions." Anita said. "I'm sorry, cariña. We'll be there soon." Damian told her. "Okay. I figured Gregory would like it if Violet was here and I told him that I'd stay too." Anita said. "He won't mind us there, will he?"
"No. He needs us more than ever now. I'm going to try and get ahold of Tommy and have him come over tomorrow." Anita said, cleaning up the kitchen. "Okay. Be there soon. I love you." Damian said. "Love you too." She hung up and turned to go to Gregory's room to check on him. She looked up to see him standing there. "Gregory?" He shook his head and looked at her. "York?" He nodded. "What's wrong? Did something happen?" Anita asked. "Nothing happened. He's exhausted and can't fight me off. I wanted to talk to you." York said. "About?"
"Taking care of him. He's not one for it, but as you said, he was there for you through the loss of your child. He cares for you deeply and I admire that." York said. Anita nodded. "Sorry if I scared you. I just wanted to say thank you for taking care of our Gregory." Anita smiled and York walked back into the bedroom. Anita followed and watched him climb into bed. He fell asleep a few minutes later. "Itsumo osewaninarimasu, guregorī. Anata wa watashinokazokudesu. (I will always take care of you, Gregory. You're my family.)" Anita told him as she tucked him in. "Anata mo watashinokazokudesu. Aishitemasu. (You're my family too. I love you.)" He mumbled back. Anita turned off the lamp and closed his door. Violet, Damian, and Irelynn came a few minutes later. "Is he asleep?" Violet asked. Anita nodded. "York visited me. He told me thank you for taking care of Gregory." Anita told her. "He needs someone to. He doesn't take care of himself very well." Violet said. Damian smiled as he placed Irelynn on the couch. "Have you ate?" Damian asked her as he kissed her head. Anita shook her head. "I mainly focused on Gregory."
"Well then, let's get you something to eat then." Damian told her. After she ate and washed up her dishes, Anita lead Damian to the spare bedroom. He placed Irelynn on the bed and helped Anita get her ready for bed. Anita pulled on one of Damian's shirts and climbed in beside Irelynn. Damian followed in only his shorts. Irelynn cuddled up to Damian and he smiled. "I don't get to experience this much because she's always cuddled up to you or she's with Ashford or Ashton." He said. "She loves her uncles, but she loves you more." Anita said, stroking her hair. They both fell asleep cuddling Irelynn. Violet was sitting at the edge of Gregory's bed, braiding her hair. Gregory gasped and shot up, scaring Violet. "Holy shit!" She wheezed. Gregory rubbed his eyes and looked at her. "Vi, is that you?"
"Yeah, it's me. You okay?" She asked, crawling up beside him. "I didn't know you were here." Gregory mumbled when she wrapped herself around him. "Anita asked me to come over. Damian and Irelynn are here too. Just get some sleep. I'm right here." She told him. Gregory and Violet fell asleep holding onto each other.
