Callie heard George's mom was leaving the hospital and wanted her to see Sofia before she left. Callie knocked on the doorway and entered the room.
"I heard your leaving soon?" Callie asked Louise.
"Yes I am. Honey" Loiuse sits on the bed with her bag all ready.
"It was really nice to see you again." Callie says to the older women who looked happy.
"Callie it's always nice to see you." Louise says as she grabs her former daughter-in-law's hand. Callie was fidgeting in her spot as Louise was looking at her "Is everything okay Callie?"
"I was wondering if you actually want to see her" Callie says nervously "I can show you her"
Louise smiles and says "of course, I'd love to see Sofia" Callie smiled happily and write on a piece of paper and went to see Sofia with page when sons are here.
"Okat, let's go" Callie says as she linked arms with the older woman and directs her to the nicu.
Once there Callie tells her to wait outside so she can go inside and talk to Addison who was checking on her Sofia.
"Hey Addi, I gotta question?" Callie asked the older woman.
"Sure, what's up?' Addison inquired back.
Callie points to George's mom, Addison waves "You guys still talk?" Addison asked.
"Not since George, She was in here for surgery. I talked to her for a bit. Showed her pictures of Sofia but I was wondering if I should bring her in here to see Sofia? Despite everything that happened with George she still cares, Red."
"I don't mind. She looks like a sweetheart" Addison says to Callie as she glances over the older women.
"She is" Callie hugs her friend "imma bring her in here."
Callie went to grab Ms.O'Mallley. She had her hands sanitized and walked her over to Sofia. "Sofi, princesa guerrera I want you to meet someone" Callie starts to say as opens the incubator. "Sofia this Ms.O'Malley an old friend of mama's and Ms.O'Malley this is Sofia."
Ms.O'Malley moved closer to the incubator and says "Can I hold her hand" Callie nods and Ms.O'Malley goes to hold Sofia hands who tightly grabs the older woman's hand. "She has a tight grip" The older woman laughed ."You pretty girl is going to grow up strong, independent and pretty like your mama. Don't get into much trouble. I would love updates of you every once in awhile." Callie stepped back as she gave Ms.O'Malley and Sofia more room to get acquainted.
"She already loves that girl?" Addison asked as she stood next to her friend.
"It's so refreshing to see, knowing everything with my mom. This is one person who I haven't had contact with in years and look at how much love she's showing my daughter Addison" Callie says as Addison agrees with her. "My family disowned me but this woman only met me twice, went through a divorce with her son. Yet she still sees me as a daughter. Make it make sense Addison." Callie says as she wipes a few tears. Addison put an arm around her friend and rubbed it in comfort.
Ms.O'Malley was done talking to Sofia and letted a nurse close the incubator. She went over to the two women and said "Callie, you are going to be a great mom. She's lucky to have you, both of you as moms"
Callie and Addison looked at the older women confused then too each other. "Huh? Excuse me?"
"You two wonderful woman will be great moms to that baby" Ms.O'Malley explain to them.
"Oh we're not together Ms.O'Malley" Callie says as Addison tries to hide her laughter.
"Oh, I thought" Ms.O'Malley says feeling embarrassed
"I'm Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery, Sofia's godmom and doctor. Best friend to Callie here. Nice to meet you." Addison says as she holds her hand out to the older woman who shakes her hand in awe.
"Callie, are you sure? She's gorgeous. She looks like a Hollywood starlet" Ms.O'Malley tells Callie as she shakes Addison's hand.
"I'm 100% positive."
"You guys seem so close. When I was looking through the window. The interaction seems natural."
"Well that's what happens when we slept with the same man" Callie blurts out, causing Addison's eyes to go wide. "At different times of course"
"What Callie is trying to say is that we dont let that get in the way of our friendship." As Addison tries to explain to the older women in front of them.
"Let me get this right you both slept with the same guy at different times but you had the baby with him Callie?" Ms.O'Malley asked Callie.
"Yeah" Callie says simply, not wanting to tell Ms.O'Malley about Addison's abortion since it wasn't her business to tell.
"And your wife isn't Addison?" Ms.O'Malley asked Callie.
"Yeah, my wife's name is Arizona. She's a peds surgeon." Callie tells her former mother-in-law.
"Oh okay, I gotcha." Ms.O'Malley seems to understand it. "Either way, she has two great women in her life" Ms.O'Malley says to the two women. "Callie, I expect updates on this wonderful baby. Take down my number" She says as Addison gives her a paper and pen. Ms.O'Malley writes down her number and hands the clipboard to Callie for her to have it.
Callie pager went off to let her know that Ms.O'Malley sons were there to pick her up.
"Oh Jerry and Ronnie are here to pick you up" Callie tells the older woman.
"Can they meet Sofia as well Callie?" She asked innocently. Callie smiled and nodded her head. Callie told the nurse to go grab the two sons from Ms.O'Malley room and bring them to the NICU. She nodded her head and went to grab them. Ms.O'Malley held Callie hand was talking to Addison while they were waiting for her sons. Ten minutes later the two men came walking to the NICU loudly. Callie had to remind them to be quiet since it was supposed to be a quiet place for the babies. The two men understood and still gave Callie the biggest hug and she laughed feeling the love.
"Who is this hottie?" Jerry asked as Addison looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"You have yourself a girlfriend?" Ronnie asked out of curiosity.
"I am married but not to her-"
"Little sis" Jerry says as Callie smiled at him calling her his sister "She's hot. I wouldnt mind if you got with her." Callie and Addison both laughed and shake their heads.
"I understand that but she's my best friend, Sofia's godmom and doctor." Callie explained to George Brothers who understood.
"Is she single?" Jerry asked which caused Callie to look at Addison who was looking away on purpose.
"You know what go and see my daughter yall two" Callie laughs as she turns around both men and pushes them into the NICU. George's mom went into the room with the boys so that way they wouldn't get too loud.
Callie and Addiosn leaned against the wall and watched the scene in front of them. "You're lucky to still have in laws that care about you Cal"
"Yeah it's great" Callie's heart swelled to know her daughter has more people to love her even if they weren't blood related.
Meredith and Crisitina were coming up to the two ladies. "Hey Satan and Officer hard-ass" Cristina says as her and Meredith stand on the side of the ladies.
"Hey. Hi hi" Addison and Callie says to the two women.
"George's mom and brothers are meeting Sofia?" Merdith asked as she looked in the room.
"Yep and it's surprisingly going good."
"Until they thought Callie and I were married" Addison tells Cristina and Meredith who cheered happily.
"Finally we're not the only pair of friends in this hospital who people think are lesbians lovers" Meredith says as her and Crisitina high five.
"People think we're together?" Callie asked Meredith and Christina.
"Yeah, which makes sense. You guys are joined at the hip like Meredith and I. Addison, you do call Callie your baby mama." Cristina explains.
"And Callie you do call Addison your sugar mama"
Both women looked at each other and laughed, causing Meredith and Crisitina to look at them confused. "They need to it wouldn't work between us because we screwed the same man like horny rabbits" Callie said in between her laughter.
"And we drink Vodka and Fireball like we never had anything to drink" Addison adds as Cristina and Meredith chuckled then walked away.
"Sofia is going to have an interesting childhood with us" Callie tells Addison as she catches her breath.
"Oh hell yeah, she is so in for it" Addison says as wipes the tear from her eye.
