Addison and Naomi were in Addison's office talking about the latest update in their lives when Addison's door suddenly. The both looked at the to see Sofia smiling at her aunt as she walked into the office.
"Hey Sof, I wasn't expecting you" Addison says as the twelve year old went over to her aunt. She put her arms around Addison's neck and chin on top of Addison's head. "You remember Naomi?" Sofia looked at the other women in the room and she gave her a smile and said hey.
"How ya been sof?" Addison asked.
"Ya know some old same" Sofia told her godmom.
"Where's your moms?" Sofia's eyes went wide knowing she ran away from Seattle.
"Umm they're in LA"
"If I call one of your moms, will they be in LA?" Addison asked Sofia as the twelve year old rolled her eyes as Addison reached for her phone. Sofia put her hand over Addison's to stop her. "How'd you get here?"
"I took the bus." Sofia tells Addison
"Sofia, what if something happened?" Addison turns to the girl.
"But nothing happened. Plus I was updating Zola on every stop" Sofia tried to reason. Addison closed her eyes and took a deep breath then released it.
"Sofia!" Addison yelled at Sofia. She turned around in her seat to look at the twelve year old who was looking back at her.
Naomi looked at the two as they had a silent conversation. "Addison, imma go check on Violet client" Naomi says as she got up from her seat "I'll talk to you later" Naomi says as she walks out of the office.
Addison pointed to the seat on the other side of the desk and Sofia followed the silent instruction. Addison leaned on her desk and said "Now tell me what's wrong?"
Sofia started to play with her fingers and looked away from her aunt. "I had sex and I think I might be pregnant" Sofia mumbles her answer.
"What was that?" Addison couldn't hear Sofia.
"I had sex and I might be pregnant" Sofia says loder to her aunt.
Addison closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She was going through this all over again. This time she hoped that Sofia wouldn't put her in a position to not tell Arizona or Callie. "Sofia, what are you doing having sex?" Addison asked the young girl.
"I don't know…." Sofia tells her and Addison can tell it wasn't the full truth.
"Sofia Robbin"
"Okay okay, this guy told me he really liked me…." Sofia starts to say to Addison.
"So you and him had sex?" Addison asked as she stood up from desk seat and went around the desk as Sofia nodded her head. Addison crutches down to Sofia, held her hands and said "You don't need to have sex for someone to like you"
"I just thought" Sofia says as a tear starts to run down her face.
Addison pulls Sofia into her arms and rubs her back as the young girl sobbed into her shoulder. It was a tough situation that Sofia was in and yet she came to her safe haven who was her godmom. Addison pulled them apart and said to Sofia "Ya know I gotta call your mom right? Since you are in Seattle for the holidays." Sofia nodded her ear and Addison reached over and reached for her phone, looked for Arizona name contact, it rang and she heard Arizona's voice. "I just wanted to let you know that Sofia is with me. She took a bus. I would leave that for her to tell you. At least she came to an adult she trusts and. Arizona I understand. I didn't know she was going to come here. I would talk to Zola, since she knew about your daughter's trip here. I'll let her sleep at my house and we'll take the helicopter tomorrow." Addison puts her phone back onto her desk and pulls Sofia away from her.
"Sofia, do you want to take a test or do an ultrasound?" Addison asked her goddaughter.
Sofia thinks about it and says "I'll do a test."
Addison led the young girl to the supply closet and grabbed two pregnancy tests. She and Sofia went to the bathroom. Addison handed her the test and let her go into the stall. Addison waited until the young girl.
Five minutes later the stall door opened, Sofia had a relieved look on her face. "Both tests are negative." Sofia says as she hands the test to Addison for her to look at. Addison looked at the young girl as she put both tests on the counter.
"You are very lucky this one time Sofia." Addison tells Sofia matter-of-factly. "All it takes is one time." Addison sternly tells Sofia.
"I get that" Sofia says to Addison.
"So for the rest of the day you are going to be my personal assistant. Giving me supplies when I ask and helping with the babies." Addison tells the young girl.
"I gotta help with the birth." Sofia asked her aunt.
"No, just check up on them to make sure their vitals are good and I shouldn't do this but I would allow you to do one ultrasound." Addison says as Addison throws out the pregnancy test and her and Sofia go out of the bathroom. "Then you are going to watch a lot of educational videos on sexual diseases tonight. We will also have a long talk about the consequences of sex."
"Titi, but I'm sleeping over. We're supposed to have cheese, grape juice, wine for you, and gossip." Addison shakes her head at the young girl's antics.
"Nope. Not tonight another time. Should've thought about that when you decided to have sex" Addison says as the young girl throws her head back and groans. At this moment Sofia wished she was born in another family and not in a family of doctors.
