Callie and Sofia walked off the elevator of the lobby to the practice and walked to the receptionist desk. Callie told them that they were there to see Addison and the receptionist told her the direction of the office. The two walked in to see Addison, Archer and Naomi eating lunch.
"Hey guys!" Callie says as she went over to hug Addison and Archer waved to Naomi.
"Hey Cal and Sofi" Addison says as she hugged Callie then walked over to Sofia and hugged her tightly. The two went to the couch and sat down. Archer offered Sofia sushi which she happily took along with some of Addison's rice.
"What made you stop by?" Archer asked Callie.
"Sofia is spending her spring break with Addison so I dropped her off" Callie responds to Archer.
"The same week, I'm here. Callie if you wanted me you could've just asked" Archer says playfully flirting with Callie knowing it wasn't going anywhere.
"I already had one man-whore baby daddy. I don't need another one." Callie says as Archer faked to be offended.
"That is hurtful Torres"
"You're just mad because our game is still tied"
"Look, we can do a redo."
"You lost just admit" Callie says to the doctor.
Archer says to Sofia "Look little Sloan, I'll give you six hundred dollars if you tell your mom that uncle archer is the winner in this game"
"Make it eight hundred" Sofia negotiated as Naomi looked at them in shock.
Archer took out his wallet, took out eight hundred dollars and handed it to Sofia. Sofia recounted the money, then putted it in her bag "Mom Archer is the winner in this game." Archer smirked at Callie who playfully smacked him.
"You're annoying." Callie says to Archer as he laughs. "Sofia give Archer back his money"
"No, little Sloan keep it." Archer says "Plus Callie I'm the older brother you always wanted and Sofia loves me as an uncle" Archer reasons Callie who rolls her eyes.
"Are they always like this when together?" Naomi asked Addison which caused Sofia to also nod her head along with her aunt.
"Callie is my whore equalizer. I respect Torres for her work and good mothering skills. Even though I don't admit it to her face. I love her as a sister, she balances out my sister who lacks socioeconomic status and their personalities don't clash. Callie and Addison respect each other." Archer says to the women in the room. Even though Naomi catches the shade in the last part of his sentence.
"Awww Archer who knew you had a heart. You're so nice."Callie says as she puts a hand over her heart.
"Oh damn you heard that Torres." Archer says as he pretended Callie wasn't in the room.
"You forget that I'm an orthopedist so I can break every bone in your body" She says she playfully slaps him again.
"Now, your no longer using my personal driver"
"I'm no longer cooking you Cuban food."
"You wouldn't?"
"Try me Archer Montgomery. I will only cook for Addison."
"You play a horrible game Torres"
"You're just afraid to lose again to your little sister" Callie challenged Archer.
Archer stood up from the couch "Day drinking?"
"Day-drinking. Credit or debit?" Callie
"You take one credit card" Archer says as he hands Callie a card "The one with the most straws wins"
"Are yall two really about to do this?" Addison asked as Callie and Archer looked at each other then back at Addison and nodded their heads.
"We'll be home tonight. Callie can sleepover and leave in the morning."
"I like his idea. now c'mon loser." Callie says as she grabs Archer by the arm to leave the building.
"He just stole your best friend, titi. How do you feel?" Sofia comments to Addison as she takes a sip of her aunt's drink.
"Are you sure they never slept with each other?" Naomi asked out of slight jealousy but more curiosity.
"Positive, they're best friends" Addison says as she gives Naomi the look of why question that.
"I don't know. Archer never wants to do day drinking with your friends Addison" Naomi tries to hide the octave in her voice.
"Uncle Archer and Mama are just friends so don't be butthurt." Sofia says as she sits up straighter as she defends her mama and uncle.
"Sofia" Addison said in a warning tone.
"What? She gets this way every time mama and Archer are around each other. And if mama wanted to screw uncle Archer she can but she's not going too. The last guy my mama screwed was my dad. If you're intimidated just say that." Sofia says as she narrowed her eyes at the older woman who looked at her in shock.
"Sofia!" Addison yells at Sofia, Naomi realized that the young girl didn't flinch but Naomi did.
Sofia chuckled knowing her aunt was trying to make her say sorry "What? Uncle Archer has a soft side and she knows that. He hides it with his playboy attitude. He was a close friend to my dad" Sofia starts to explain. "You don't know this but Archer and I went to dad's grave. We surprisingly had a picnic with dad, it was Archer's idea. He took to take me to Seattle and we went to the grave. He shared stories of the troubles him and dad would get into. We spent the majority of the day there. it felt wonderful to have a visit that didn't end in tears." Sofia went more into explaining "Archer didn't think that I heard but he told dad that he will look after mama and I. Him and mama go out around the city, they go out and play this stupid flirting game competition. Archer comes over for dinner and spends time with us. He doesn't look at our status as entitled as he is. He took me to broadway shows, coney island, and upstate new york. He even took us to the family home. Yeah, mama loves Tia and when Archer is around she feels like a family with them. Mama and Archer double teaming on titi and then Archer says something that causes them to team up on him. It's refreshing to see my mama be treated as she's a member of a family who loves her despite her sexual preference and understands her career. Mama never had any real siblings. Yeah she has a half sister but I don't remember when the last time mama talked to her. Tia became the closest thing to a sister for my mama and Archer became the closest thing to a brother for my mama as well. So please respectively stop trying to make it seem like my mom wants Archer when she doesn't." Sofia says as Naomi looks at her in shock.
Naomi looked at Addison who was still looking at Sofia "So you're going to let her talk to me like that?" Naomi asked Addison who shocked herself out of her thoughts.
"She did say please." Addison said nonchalantly as she thought about what Sofia had said to Naomi. She loved her friend dearly but everytime Callie came around, Naomi would watch Callie and Archer like hawks. Addison talked about it to Naomi but she would just brush her off and that annoyed Addison. That's why Addison loves her from a distance now.
Naomi was shocked by Addison's response. Naomi looked between both ladies, both with their right eyebrow raised, backs straight as to seem more intimationing. Addison had her legs crossed at the leg while Sofia had her crossed at the ankles. To Naomi it was scary how much Sofia looked like Addison even though their features were opposite of each other. "Okay, I'll stop assuming that your mom and Archer are sleeping together"
"Thank you" Sofia says with a smile on her face that reminded Naomi of Addison.
"Titi now that Tio Archer is not here. I can tell you about this cute boy in my class" Sofia says as she switches the topic to something different.
That night at Addison's house Sofia, Naomi and Addison's sat on the back deck of Addison's house. Addison heard her front food open, they looked into the house to see Callie laughing holding Archer up.
The duo walked onto the back deck. Callie sat next to Sofia and put an arm around her amd pulled her close. while Archer sat next to Addison on her steps. Naomi looked at the four and slightly smiled.
"So who won this round?" Addison asked Callie and Archer.
"Sadly Callie did." Archer says as he puts his head on Addison's shoulder.
"Yeah, his ego is bruised" Callie says as she strokes Sofia's hair.
"No it's not." Archer tells Callie as he gave her the finger
"Yes, it is. Just admit I got more game then you do" Callie sassied to Archer who put a hand in her face.
"You guys are big kids" Addison said to the two adults.
"And you're the mature one?" Archer asked as Callie also looked at Addison.
"Yes, I am" Addison says as Archer and Callie start to laugh.
"Yeah okay Satan" Callie says in between her laughs "Remember the one time you threw a heel at Archer head because Archer didn't agree with you on a patient"
"Or the time, you got mad at Callie and I so you decided to handcuff us together for a whole day."
"Those are not valid enough reasons"
"Yeah yeah typical fiery demon gets mad then its miss blame on the world" Archer say to Addison as Callie laugh at the siblings
"Okay, since you guys wanna talk so much shit. Callie remember the time you came drunk into work and i had to cover to hide you in the on-call room while bailey was looking for you. " Callie was shocked by this truthfully allegation "Then you sir cried over ice cream because you didn't have sex for two months. Exactly grown adults acting like children"
"And this is why you women are so damn emotional" Archer said which caused Addison and Callie to look at him with death glares. Sofia ran into the house to get a bag of popcorn and she returned, sat criss-crossed on the chair, and started to stuff her face with popcorn. Naomi was watching next to her as Archer was preparing himself to die.
"Excuse me? What did you just say?" Callie and Addison said at the same time.
"Women are emotional creatures and are crazy." Before Archer knew it, He was getting yelled at in Spanish by Callie and Addison was also yelling at him.
"Tio your in it now" Sofia says in between bites
"You hush or no more money in your trust fund"
"I have a trust fund?" Sofia asked Archer as he was getting yelled at by both Addison and Callie once he mentioned the trust fund. Sofia got up from her seat and was trying to get more information about the trust fund.
Archer realized he was in so much trouble in the morning.
